We stayed 1 night at Riad Chay & Boutique as a stopover on our road trip. The riad has a cozy and relaxing vibe, with a nice mix of traditional and modern design. The room was clean and comfortable, though the bathroom could be improved a bit. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food at the restaurant. Dinner was so-so, and breakfast was good. One tip: Google Maps / Booking directions didn’t work for us, but the hotel’s road signs were clear and led us right to the place – very helpful! Great choice if you need a quiet and pleasant place to rest before continuing your journey.

Coming from a desert camp, the sumptuous comfort of the riad was exactly what we needed. Access is a bit tricky, but well posted. Greeted with a big smile, we have been given a spacious, clean room with a small terrace, panoramic windows, good WiFi, a huge bed, and a chic bathroom. I recommend taking dinner: the tajines were simply the best we've had in Morocco. The rooftop terrace is excellent for relaxing after dinner. The bed is comfortable, and the breakfast was great, too. Even the souvenir shop is interesting, offering well-priced products I did not see elsewhere. I must stress the superb service throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

The Riad is absolutely beautiful, impeccably clean, and the view from the rooftop is amazing. The dinner and breakfast were delicious, especially loved the starter briwat. The staff were incredibly kind, softspoken, and helpful. They made sure to give us a whole list of suggestions of what to do and places to visit upon arrival and when we left. The room was gorgeous with a view on the all-surrounding palm fields, the bed comfy and shower had great water pressure. Absolutely recommend for a stay in Ouarzazate.

Riad Chay was a gem in Ouarzazate, and proved to be a wonderful place for us to stay; don't be fooled by the dust road leading to it - follow the signs and you'll find it! The staff were most welcoming. Yassine greeted us in the car park, took our bags and after checking us in, asked us where we were going next and, using the beautiful map mural on the wall of the reception, helped us to map our route through 'must see' spots, and gave us his recommendation of which roads to take. The room was extremely spacious, and our private balcony proved to be a wonderful little spot to star gaze at night, and watch the sun set against the Atlas mountains. The room windows are coated with privacy glass which was a very clever touch that we appreciated as it meant that we could enjoy the gorgeous view from our room without having to worry about other guests seeing in during the day. Breakfast was fresh fruits, eggs (berber omlette, which is delicious), moroccon bread (a staple everywhere you go), cake, a delicious home made yoghurt, and various condiments/spreads. Drinks available included freshly squeezed orange juice (delicious!!), moroccon tea, and coffee if you wish.

We only stayed one fairly short night but very much loved the place and would totally recommend to stay there maybe even more than one night to explore the surroundings and enjoy this beautiful Riad. The staff is very friendly and everything seems to be done with a lot of love and attention to detail. The room was very nice with an amazing view over the valley, the bed was very comfy and the bathroom very clean. The food in the evening was good (but not exceptional), breakfast on the terrace was amazing. We also liked that they had a very green and nicely decorated courtyard where you can spend time to read and enjoy the quiet. Parking is right next to the Riad

We had a lovely stay at Oscar Hotel and stayed in the Caesar suite which was exceptional. Ideally located at the Atlas studios is great. The room and hotel was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and layout of the hotel is perfect! Oumayma at front of house made our stay extra comfortable and was welcoming and helpful. We would love to stay here again.

We booked the hotel on line before reading the reviews. I guess they must have renovated the rooms, and hired a new staff recently. The room was clean and modern, and looked nothing like the photos in the nasty bathroom review. The staff was friendly, food was good for dinner and breakfast. Pool was refreshing, and even though we didn’t have time to tour the studio, we did see a lot of the sets out our window. Great bed, too!

Hotel Marmar is extremely clean, comfortable and has a great location, just on the edge of the town centre so it is easy to walk everywhere yet still quiet and peaceful for a great nights sleep. The hotel is quite new and facilities are all in excellent condition, the shower hot and powerful, beds and bedding fresh and comfortable, rooms surprising large. The included breakfast is served in the cafe downstairs that belongs to the hotel, freshly squeezed orange juice, yogurt, cheese, jam, croissants or pain au chocolate, fresh bread and probably the best coffee I had in Morocco were an enjoyable treat. The cafe is busy with locals relaxing most of the day so you know it is good and very reasonably priced, I much prefer this than being in a tourist only environment. We checked a couple of other hotels nearby and we couldn’t find anything as nice as Hotel Marmar, it was also about half the price of the other places too! The receptionist Fatima was always very friendly and gave great advice about nearby places to eat and day trips. Mint tea was available all the time. We were lucky enough to meet the hotel manager who was a very kind, genuine, modest man. He is a local with plenty of good advice and who even gave us some very special treats, extremely generous. We had a wonderful stay!

I really enjoyed a comfortable stay at the Marmar Hotel in Ouarzazate thanks to the friendly and professional staff, especially Mohamed, Ibrahim and Youssef. Who welcomed me with a beautiful smile. Clean and quiet rooms. Comfortable bed. Beautiful decor. Very clean bathroom. Perfect location in the city center and close to everything.. Delicious, varied and free breakfast. The price is reasonable. I recommend all travelers to book this hotel. It was a really great experience. I will definitely come back to book this beautiful and wonderful hotel that deserves five stars for its excellent services. Thanks again.

The location by the bus ststion & taxis was perfect for me. I called them for booking and Aziza, the recetionist, was so sweet and easily reserved me a room with private bath, which all rooms have). Staff members were so welcoming Youseff and Mohamed kept guests satisfied with delicious breakfast, fresh orange juice, great coffee or tea, indoor and outdoor patio. Ibrahim and 2 other efficient, hard working staffers maintained other needs to keep hotel running smoothly, rooms upkept & comfy, and cleaning of all common areas, stairs, handrails, floors immaculate everyday.

With the price I paid, I got everything that was must have- Clean room, comfortable bed, effective AC, Hot shower. Safe neighbourhood, parking facility. This was perfect for the money I paid. I required a place to stopover for the night. Absolute value for money. Strongly recommended if you are looking at good property that takes care of basics. WiFi was good. Breakfast was decent and sufficient. Host and staff were very nice.

Mohamed at reception was very friendly and helpful. I was supposed to be staying at another hotel with a group, but ended up leaving and booking here last minute. Mohamed helped me sort out my boarding pass and reassured me when I was worried about getting to the airport safely. He went above and beyond. Comfortable bed, tea & a good amount of space. The hotel was in a good location, quiet, and felt safe. The hotel is walking distance from the centre and the airport. There were enough towels for the bathroom, and there was enough soap (sounds like an odd thing to mention in a review, but the last two hotels I'd stayed in had none). Everything was clean, well-maintained and the room had a pleasant smell. Great value for money. The double bed was lovely, and I probably had the best sleep of my whole trip in this hotel. Good air conditioning and a good view outside. I would recommend this hotel.

Convenient location on main road not far from bus stations, a carrefour supermarket and various cafes and restaurants nearby. Good value . Nice room with a big bed and large seprate bathroom. The room also had a TV, fridge, tea making and kettle, balcony and aircon. Wifi okay. Cafe/ restaurant attached to hotel provided a good value breakfast and snack meals.

Staff are extremely friendly, speak very good english.Thank you Ayoub, Simo and Mohammed. You always made sure we were comfortable, arranged our taxi for Ouarzazate. The location is perfect, next to CTM coach station, few restaurants, close to supermarket, close to Atlas studio. Pretty basic but good value for money. It was a stop over for us for 2 days as our destination was really to go to Ouarzazate. Thank Abu Samad our taxi driver, his driving was safe, stopped in various interesting locations although we did not ask for and we only paid the price that was initially agreed , did not charge us any extra. Also spoke good English throughout the whole day.

We are cycle tourers and this place was a perfect stay for us. It was easy to cycle to, our tandem was stored securely inside and the room had everything we needed. It had a good shower, a comfortable bed with good linen, heating, a balcony and was a five minute walk from the Carrefore. The staff were very kind and helpful.

An excellent location just a stroll from the Kasbah, very clean and comfortable. The manager, receptionist and staff are all very friendly and helpful. A 5dm / person taxi ride will take you to the centre of town, banks, restaurants, cafes. Try the harsha and the meloui made on the lane near the souk entrance with a mint tea … aaah, Morocco.

Great hotel with amazing staff and facilities. Peacefull oasis to recharge. We only ate on premise 1 time at lunch and food was average and overpriced. On day 3 we asked for in-room coffee pods to find out it was only included for the first night (of a 4 day stay). Based on price of hotel room, we found this is a bit cheap for a luxury hotel (at $3US per… for Nepresso)… little details amenitities are nice, but coffee is a simple miss. Pool service was amazing… Hotel has a lot of bus tours staying but it doesn’t impact the tranquility of our stay…

We had a pleasant stay for a few days in the Berbere Palace over the New Year. The complex is very nice - the rooms are arranged in a complex of houses in the garden, rather than in the main building. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, although perhaps sometime since they've been updated. The wifi coverage in the different areas of the hotel (lobby, pool, rooms) seemed good. The location was also fine. Not so much in immediate vicinity, but it was only a few minutes walk to the centre, the main bus station and just over 10 mins walk to the Kasbah Taouirt.

Nice hotel with everything you might need, including a bar and swimming pool with an excellent view of the Ouarzazate countryside. The WiFi is dodgy but other than that facilities were excellent.

Good hotel located not far from downtown area. Two big pluses - swimming pool and large backyard.

I was offered a choice of rooms as the hotel was fairly quiet, I opted for a room that hadn't yet been refurbished as I preferred to have a room with a bath rather than just a shower. (Which the refurb rooms only have) The room was a little dated, as to be expected. But the air con was absolutely brilliant! The temperature didn't dip below 25°c during any point of my stay (this was the through the night temperature) and hit 40°+ during the day, yet the room stayed like a fridge. I had no mini bar / fridge upon arrival and mentioned it to reception who dealt with it immediately. I was also left with a very healthy plate of fruit (bananas, apples & oranges) and a large bottle of water. The rooms were cleaned daily with the bed made and towels changed. The flat screen tv only had 1 English speaking channel and didn't appear to be smart to enable 'throwing' anything from my phone but that wasn't a disaster as I'd mainly come for the sun. The pool was kept very clean and was around 20m in length. There were ample sunbeds due to the hotel being quiet, should it ever get full, there may be shortages. The pool area as a whole though was a fantastic viewpoint over the area and a welcome relief to cool off. With a bargain flight from Ryanair, this was a very well priced 3 night break in the sun, away from typical resorts. I would definitely recommend doing this again for any sun worshippers wanting a cheeky trip away.

Kenzi Azghor Hotel in Ouarzazate was hands down our best stay in Morocco! The hotel exudes a majestic charm, perfectly blending luxury with authentic Moroccan vibes. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and attentive, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The highlight has to be the breathtaking swimming pool and terrace, offering stunning views of the Atlas Mountains and the surrounding landscapes. It's the perfect place to relax and take in the beauty of Ouarzazate. We were also blown away by the restaurant—both the buffet dinner and breakfast were incredible, with a wide variety of delicious options that catered to all tastes. Our room was fantastic—spacious, comfortable, and equipped with all the modern amenities. The bed was plush, and the bathroom was large and immaculate. If you're looking for a memorable stay in Ouarzazate, Kenzi Azghor is highly recommended!

The staff were like family, discreet but always there to help. the room was phenomenal and the pool was a godsend in the heat. I am so glad I booked a hotel with a pool, it was priceless. They served a generous and diverse breakfast and optional dinner was the best quality of all meals in Morocco

Pretty much everything. Superb ambiance by the pool. Great breakfast with high quality stuffs. Dinner was exceptional. Chicken tajine was so good! Found it better than Douriya in the city. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Very friendly people running the place. Always prompt and catered to all we need. Also, just 2 days was sufficient for them to be friends with our 18m daughter. Morocco seems very fond of babies, which is lovable! A bit far from the city but we could walk all the way to the Kasbah and city centre. Very close to the airport, and has a nice terrace view of the city.

A smaller but incredibly cosy rad that felt very luxurious. Absolutely beautiful spaces. You could relax by the pool, enjoy an expensive terrace with views of the mountains or enjoy the beautifully decorated interior sitting space . The room was large and thoughtfullyfitted out, and everything was exceptionally clean. The meal I enjoyed was the best I had in Morocco. But nothing was in compare with the service. The manager was even helping me arrange things when I wasn’t staying there anymore, he was just so helpful. I can’t recommend enough.

We had a perfect stay at Le Petit Riad - our room was cosy and comfortable and we had everything we needed. Great breakfast and beautifully decorated riad with a lovely little pool and courtyard. But what really sets this place apart is the hosts who are wonderful! They were so friendly, kind and attentive and helped us organise two fantastic day trips for our time in Ouarzazate in the surrounding area with excellent guides. We couldn't recommend this place more!

The staff were excellent, especially the ladies on the front desk, a real credit to the owner. The swimming pool was a really nice bonus. The food was amazing. Clean, comfortable, and really peaceful place to stay. Anything we needed the front desk were more then welling to help and arrange for us.

An absolute oasis of calm on the edge of a the lovely city of Ouarzazate. The food was exceptional and plentiful, the staff extremely welcoming and knowledgeable. The owner spent some time with us plotting routes to the north and south of the city which proved to be great advice. Inside the riad you are transported to another place, the tranquility settles you instantly. The small pool was welcome after the heat of outside. Our room was traditional and superb.

Loved everything of this Riad. We stayed in the hottest (up to 45 degree) period, the swimming pool saved us to cool down during the day. Breakfast in the poolside with freshly made pasteries, orange juice and homemade yogurt was superb! Marjana had been very kind and helpful to everything, the last day we were running out of time to get the bus back to Marrakesh and she even came out to the roads with us to help us get a taxi. Our memory of this beautiful travel to Marocco will not be the same without the stay in Riad Dar Bergui and the kindness of Mariana. Shukran - Merci beaucoup!!

The pool and facility here are beautiful. We were on a brief stopover on our way from Imlil over to Mergouza, so we arrived in the evening and left the next morning, but it was a nice stay. Our room had a wonderful deck/patio area overlooking the city that I'm sure we would have enjoyed if we had stayed longer. The pool was also well-kept and very clean, albeit a bit chilly (again, we were only there in the evening). Breakfast was good and the woman at the front desk spoke good English and was a pleasure to work with.

The riad is beautiful, clean, and spacious, decorated in a very tasteful style. It’s set in a quiet area with a safe parking space. The location is excellent — the riad sits on a hill with a stunning view. The surroundings are lovely, peaceful, and secure. The staff take great care of the property, and the pool is exceptionally well maintained. Special mention goes to the chef, who prepares fantastic meals.

It was very peaceful sitting by the pool and enjoying the patio and beautiful plants around. The room was very spacious and comfortable - though there were some big cracks in the walls :) The staff were super kind and hospitable <3 and the breakfast was very tasty (amazing Raib). Location is not the most central but Ouarzazate is small and you can reach the main square by foot in 10-15mins and it was nice to stay in a more residential part of the town. Wish we got to spend more nights there and will definitely stay here again!

We stayed in the quadruple room with 2 children and it was great. Clean, comfortable and its private terrace was a lovely addition. Kids loved the pool and everybody was friendly and helpful. The location is in a quieter area but only 5-10 mins walk to the square so worked well for us. Breakfast was really good too.

This hotel was the absolute highlight of our Morocco trip! The room was generously spacious and the patio has a killer view of the stars at night. All the staff were super friendly. They would go out of their way to make sure we have a perfect stay. We didn’t use the pool as it was in November and the pool was not heated. But it didn’t stop us from enjoying the sun by the pool. If you are reading this, look no further. It’s gonna be an amazing stay at Ouarzazate!

Everything from the view through the decor, the pool to the very helpful and nice staff. The pool is beautifully arranged. Very delicious and varied meals. Attention to every detail of the decor and small gestures making the stay an amazing experience.

A wonderful well designed hotel with perfect facilities and staff. We loved the cool pool and service from friendly staff. The breakfasts were huge and delicious and it was a lovely surprise to be able to play pool.

This accommodation is run by a lovely team who really care that you are having a great stay. The pool area is lovely and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is varied and dinner is tasty , authentic and well priced. We stayed one night here before we took a flight from Ouazazate airport which is 10 mins away. I would highly recommend staying at Kasbah Tamsna. They care about their guests and comfort.

Beautifully designed, the suite was spacious and comfortable with incredible views. The pool area was very relaxing and lots of shade provided by the olive trees. The staff and service were exceptional. The food was excellent with lots of variety. The town centre is easily accessible via taxi. Looking forward to coming back!

Our stay at Dar Rita was great. Tucked away in an interesting alleyway of Ouarzazate, this riad was beautiful, comfortable, and had an excellent buffet breakfast. The owner has taken great care to decorate the place with many beautiful crafts from Morocco; both the common spaces and the rooms feel welcoming and cozy. There's even a hangout spot on the second floor with games and books in case you want to spend the evenings relaxing in the riad. The terrace was nice and that the host offered us some great tips for getting to Ait Benhaddou. We could tell the owner took pride in delicious food for both the welcome tea & snacks AND the wonderful breakfast. As breakfast opened, he was just returning from a bakery with some warm crunch baguettes (yum!), and the other offerings were good quality and really tasty. What truly sets this riad apart is the hospitality. We felt like honored guests rather than tourists, and the owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. If you want an authentic Ouarzazate experience with comfortable accommodations and a breakfast worth waking up early for, Dar Rita delivers on every level.

We absolutely loved this place. Dar Rita is located in a very small part of the medina, hidden away from the busy road but also very easy to get to. We arrived earlier than the check in but we were welcomed with open arms and delicious mint tea. They showed us a local map with good restaurants and places of interest. We were able to leave our bags in the reception and go to Atlas Studios which was perfect as we were only there for 24hrs before travelling further into our journey. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, beautifully decorated and my partner fell in love with the ceiling which was aesthetically pleasing. The terrace was lovely and had the most perfect view of the stars at night and the village during the day. Very quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was delicious with many options to choose from, our table was ready when we went downstairs and it was nice seeing all the other people who were also staying there. We definitely felt at home. Thank you for the lovely time.

This is a lovely guesthouse. It is very clean and quiet. Rooms are very comfortable. Showers have hot water and goood pressure (you may have to wait for the hot water but it comes). Our bed was very comfortable, sheets and towels are clean. Breakfast is delicious with many choices including boiled eggs, few types of bread, olives, dates, yogurt, orange juice, coffee and tea. There is construction going on in the neighbourhood but it stops around dinner time. It's very close to share taxis (Grand Taxis) to Ait Ben Haddou. There are good restaurants and a Carrefour 10 minutes walk away,. The owners are very nice and helpful. We were able to leave our bags for a couple of hours before check-in.

Khalid was the kindest host, making us feeling welcome and comfortable. The breakfasts were fabulous and fresh with plenty of choice and plenty of coffee. The room was spotlessly clean, with a great shower and good air con. The roof terrace was an added bonus with its comfortable seating, shade and view. Communication before our trip was also excellent. Would recommend Dar Rita to anyone.

Peaceful oases in quite, authentic and very clean part of the city. Enjoyed being around kind and welcome local people. Riad was so beautifully decorated and very comfortable with conditioner. Good bathroom, tasty and fresh breakfast, amazing view from the rooftop terase. We are also grateful for kind and generous support from the host!

We loved our stay at Tigminou. The room was very spacious and private, and we really enjoyed relaxing by the pool all afternoon. Dinner was delicious, so I highly recommend eating here. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. It is located close to Ait Benhaddou and Ouarzazate, but remains peaceful and away from the noise. A relaxing and luxurious place to stay, highly recommended.

Firstly, our host was the most welcoming, kind and informative person we have ever encountered on a trip. Warm and professional and exactly someone who makes a trip one to remember! Staying in this oasis was exactly what we needed after a hard road trip. The place is beautiful, it has a pool that is clean and sunbeds that are comfortable! The dinner was a wonderful fusion of Moroccan and French cuisine so I'd definitely recommend trying it. The staff are lovely, rooms are immaculately clean and the breakfast was great. Definitely recommend.

Hassan & Brahim were amazing hosts, they took care of their guests very very well, we felt so comfortable from the very first second on. The hostel and its rooms itself had also nothing left to be desired, we had a highly spacious chamber, the beds were extremely comfy (the best thing that could happen to us after a long and exhausting vacation day) and the bathroom was also clean. The morning view from the roof terrace while taking in our breakfast was excellent too, as well as the breakfast itself - especially the omelette had us fall in love with, very delicious. So in the end, there is nothing left to say than thanks a lot for this memorable stay and that we'd liked your commitment very much, you are two pleasant guys and we wish you all the best for the future, keep up your amazing work!

Hostel Afgo in Ouarzazate is the perfect place to stay. I really enjoyed my time here! The dorm room is very comfortable (there are also apartments/rooms available if you prefer a private space). There is a big bathroom with a good hot shower. It's all very clean. The staff is amazing! Aziz, Ali and Hassan were super friendly and helpful. Thank you so much guys! The breakfast was very nice. From the rooftop you have an amazing view! There is a big shared kitchen which you can use to cook your own meal. I loved it! Hostel Afgo also has very good wifi and the location is pretty convenient. I highly recommend Hostel Afgo to all travellers! I will come back next year for sure!

LITERALLY EVERYTHING WAS AWESOME!!!!! the place is a real oasis: close to Ouarzazate old town but in a suburb where it's situated at the main road. The staff is super helpful with everything. Ayoub speaks fluently English so don't miss the chance to talk about ANYTHING with. Especially when you're interested in Morocco's cultural diversity you should definitely apply to him. Aziz, aziz, oh and Aziz, This guy works so hard relentlessly to ensure every single guest is accommodated properly and made to feel at home. Even during ramadan he would be up first thing . making everyones breakfast even after staying up late at night for late check ins. He makes Afgo hostel a family environment and everyone truly welcomed. The hostel itself is great, wonderful location just a short taxi,bus,walk from the centre and airport. Huge roof terrace with amazing views and perfect for breakfast, sunsets , sunrises. The team are all great and freindly, rooms and areas cleaned daily. The locals are very friendly and helpful and no ulterior motive ( as in marakesh etc). This is my 3rd time at Afgo and definitely wont be the last, it's like home from home now but with the amazing weather 😁.

Quiet and peaceful, which is what I needed and will recommend to anyone looking for a break off the beaten path. Location is a bit remote so very suitable if you plan on just relaxing and unplugging from the stresses of life. Very very spacious and much in tune with nature. The pool is perfect for a long dip in the gorgeous Moroccan heat. The staff Ali, Hajra and her husband were superb and took amazing care of us.

Quiet place with friendly people! Mohammed was very welcoming and helped and arranged a desert trip for us. Price value was great. We booked a tent but it was more like a clay house with tent inside. Small room but everything we needed and shared bathrooms and showers at close distance. Very nice pool! Breakfast options were great and we enjoyed the food. 45 min drive from ait benhaddou.

It's a beautiful place, super calm and relaxed atmosphere. The "tent" is a lovely mud house, very cosy and comfortable, warm in the evening and cool at daytime. Space is clean and cared for, has everything you need. The pool is a plus, we would have wished to stay longer. The staff is wonderful and friendly, meals were great. Definitely lots of starts!

The Lady and the mum were excepiinally kind and hospitable. The location is in the old town, with typical narrow streets. 10 min walk to get to the square where restaurants are plenty and high rated. We stayed one night and I could not have breakfast as I had to catch a bus to Marrakesh in the morning but the mum got me fresh baked typical bread from a old Lady on the way to the location of petit taxi pick up. I was touched by such a kind gesture I will never forget them. A lovely relaxing quite place with all typical Maroccan decore. Quarzazate is relaxing, enjoyable and safe. We walked the narrow streets in late evening and in the dark you see shadows of cats, and so I took loads of pictures of them. . They seem to guard the old town. Small kids were playing in the streets and have asked us "give me five" and that was also touching. Plus there are some local artigian selling Beautiful hand made textile which I reccomend. Depending on what you are looking for। for us this Riad was a very nice and cosy typical place to feel close to their customs and culture. Thank you We will keep you in our hearts.

This is a charming riad, in an authentic Berber style, Located inside the Kasbah of Ouarzazate, very close to the site - Kasbah Taourirt. my room was huge, spacious, clean and beautiful, I felt like I was sleeping in a luxurious Bedouin camp... The environment is quiet and pleasant and there is a large balcony on the roof that has a pleasant air and overlooks the entire landscape around.. and there they also serve a good breakfast... fresh traditional bread and a selection of yogurts jams and cheese coffee and of course also Moroccan tea The place is managed by a lovely woman named Jamia, she is attentive and helpful and despite her warmth she also knows how to give space and privacy to her guests.. and I liked it very much .. She really gave me the feeling of home

This family-run Auberge hidden away in a peaceful alley way is embracing it's authentic style and staff are super friendly and helpfull. We loved the view from the roof terasse, where our tea was served on arrival. I have coeliac disease and requested in advance just a three-egg omelette for breakfast, and was pleasantly surprised and touched to find a small gluten-free bread on the breakfast table. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and even had electric mosquito traps. Jmiaa did recommend a nice restaurant for dinner, and we got helped taking our luggage to the taxi (a few minutes through narrow alley ways before reaching the main road). Thank you Jmiaa and team, you all were so nice to us, Said and I loved every minute of our stay!

This little riad is a lovely little place to stay. The room was spacious and clean and very comfortable. We especially liked the beautiful little roof terrace with a view of the city and the river. The staff were very nice and helpful, offering a resteraunt suggestion when we arrived to late for dinner at the riad.

I really loved finding this place. It's a short way into the traditional area through tunnels and alleys. The people who greeted us were very welcoming and calming. The whole place was lovely, the bed was very comfortable and I was especially glad to find a bath in our bathroom. The breakfast was also very good. Most other places we stayed served pastries and dips for breakfast, but here we had a wide selection of other things as well, like fruits, dates and boiled eggs. The breakfast is served in a beautiful communal space on the roof terrace where the sunrise was absolutely stunning to watch with amazing panoramic views. I would absolutely stay here again.

This is a wonderful place for your stay in Ouarzazate. Ahmad, the owner is warm and welcoming. He will go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. He treats you like family and you will feel this before you leave. He speaks many languages fluently, so communication is easy. The place is clean and comfortable with several areas to relax in. There is a wonderful rooftop terrace with a nice view to relax on in the evenings. The staff is friendly and helpful too. The food is excellent. I ate breakfast and dinner at Tin Joseph’s every day, and was not disappointed. It is a 15 minute walk to the airport, or a 5 minute drive, which makes it easy to get in and out if you are flying. The beds are comfortable, the pillows are soft, and the water is hot. There is a small market and a little bakery right across the street too. I would highly recommend staying here.

We loved the Ahmad and his crew - everyone went out of their way to welcome us and make our stay as comfortable as possible! The room was really spacious, clean and beautifully decorated! The bed was super comfortable and the shower very nice. The breakfast was super delicious and abundant! And we loved that our car was safe in front of the hotel and the view from the rooftop! Ahmed, the hotel owner is extremely friendly and he spent lots of his time telling us about the region, history and helpful tips for our travel. All the hotel staff were nice to deal with. We had a delicious tajine (typical Morrocan stew) for dinner. Breakfasts were fine, typical for the country: Quality fruit juices, coffee or mint tea. Eggs, fresh bread, jam and honey. Our two rooms were clean with comfortable beds, neatly furnished. The hotel has a nice cosy terrace on the top floor.

We stayed at Tin Joseph three times as we made trips to the desert and Dades Gorge then returned to Ouarzazate each time. We found it to be extremely comfortable and enjoyed the excellent service. Ahmad and his very helpful staff looked after us beautifully. The hotel is like a museum with artefacts decorating the very comfortable and spacious reception lounge and the dining room. The rooms are extremely spacious and beautifully decorated. Everything was spotless. Parking out the front was always easy. Breakfast was very good. We had dinner at Tin Joseph on our last night. It was excellent with the best chicken pastilla we have had. The service was exceptional. There is an excellent laundry and pressing shop next door. Our clothes were returned to us like new. Ahmad drove us to a car cleaning shop when we needed to return our rented car. We found Tin Joseph to be an excellent and would thoroughly recommend it.

Ali and his family were welcoming, kind and they have the most incredible home. Beautiful views, the best food in ouarzazate and gorgeous architecture (built by Ali's father!) If you are looking for a holiday where you sit by a pool drinking cocktails, this isn't it. If you want somewhere to stay where you can easily explore the place you've gone to visit, and live comfortably, then I can recommend. We will be back! Inshallah!

We stayed at Dar Amoudou for 3 nights on our first visit to Morocco. We were swept away by the sheer beauty and exceptional hospitality of Mr Ali and his family. Dar Amoudou is a complete Moroccan experience : it is a family run hotel built by Mr Ali's father - (Mr Ali's hard work over the years can be seen and felt ). The architecture, decor and cleanliness is first class. The hotel terrace and rooms (with a balcony) have mesmerising panoramic views of the mountains, fields and the settlements. The hotel is thoughtfully built and tastefully decorated with typical Moroccan handicrafts. The host, Mr Ali is welcoming, friendly and kind who will go out of his way to help (Mr Ali very kindly dropped us in the city and arranged a reliable tour for us to Merzouga & Marrakech). The breakfast served was fresh and scrumptious and can match any 4 star hotel. The beds were clean and comfortable. The fixtures in the toilet were traditional and clean with running hot water and shower. The ceilings in the rooms were a work of art in itself. The hotel is situated in a quiet and safe residential neighbourhood with a short drive to the city centre and Kasbah. We hope to come back to this beauty (InshAllah!!) and would strongly recommend Dar Amoudou to family, friends and travellers looking to stay in Ouarzazate!! Our prayers for Mr Ali and his family :: May Allah bless and preserve Dar Amoudou for generations to come. May you continue to serve others with love and kindness. Ameen!!

Dar Amoudou was a beautiful property with a fantastic view from both our balcony and the communal terrace. The staff were very welcoming and polite. The room was spacious with beautiful art work. The breakfast and dinner were great. We ate the best tagines that we had tasted! Dinner was roughly £12 per person per night. We enjoyed relaxing with a mint tea and watching bee-eaters from the terrace. The location is great if you are exploring Ait Ben Haddou by car as you can park at the property under shade.

Very warm welcome, nice staff, beautiful traditional rooms and terrace with amazing view, everything was clean, beautiful atypical shower, staff helped us with everything we needed, tasty breakfast included (coffee from a coffee machine available, but paid extra). Everything was brilliant. The Riad is right next to the airport, but as less than 5 flights come in a day it’s very quiet and peaceful. Ouarzazate being a small town, it is also just a 5 minute drive to the city center. A one night stay, the hosts were welcoming and happy to host us. The pool area is beautiful, and kept us from our room, which was beautiful on its own, with a Sahara desert theme. The dinner was slightly pricey, but worth it as we had one of the best Moroccan salads followed by the kefta and beef tagine. 100% recommend staying, best stay we had in Morocco.

Super hosts who make the best breakfast we had in Morocco. They also gave good restaurant tips and are very sociable, if you are looking for a chat. Rooms are fresh and spacious. Beds are good. Pool is nice but was a bit cold end of April. Great stop-over from Merzouga to Marrakech.

Pierre and Christelle were so warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they even surprised me with GF crepes for breakfast ❤️ It's a beautiful riad with immaculately clean and spacious rooms. The pool/dining area is also a great place to relax. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Ecolodge La Palmeraie. It was such a relaxing place to stay at the end of our Morocco road trip. The plants around the place were lovely, and the ambience was so tranquil and calming. We enjoyed the pool and my children used it often during our stay. All the staff were very nice and friendly! Our beds were very comfortable and it was nice to have en-suite facilities and air conditioning. All in all, a very lovely and relaxing place to stay! Thank you.

The dining area was beautiful, and hugely impressive inside, and the room coming off a court yard was spacious, clean and with a really comfy bed and good strong shower. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, with the freshly cooked bread in the morning a treat and happy to feed my coffee addiction

This guest house is in a unique location, in the very heart of a Berber village. The rooms are comfortable with spacious Moroccon tiled bathrooms. Heavy thick blankets are provided for the bitterly cold nights in January. Within a 2 minute stroll from the guest house you will find yourself chatting to young goatherds, who, whilst coaxing the animals down the slopes, will happily chat to you. The area is full of donkeys and cockerals so there's plenty of farmyard sounds! The location is amazing. A short 5 minute walk brings you to the palm groves where you will see the village women washing their clothes in the river. The backdrop of this oasis of palms and mountains is striking. Behind this beautifull setting is an abandoned village which is interesting to explore. Breakfast is included and you can watch the ladies making the bread in the fire lit ovens before it is brought fresh to your table. The evening meal is extra and consists of 3 courses. Approx price €9. Excursions can be organised through Rashid to Ait ben Haddou and other places of choice. The guesthouse has a very laid back, relaxed atmosphere. Take some books with you and just observe the Berber way of life for a few days. The villagers are incredibly welcoming and friendly and watching the little children go to and from school each day is a treat. They will greet you in French or Arabic and love to engage in conversation. These few days were the highlight of my trip to Morocco.

Our stay at La Roche Noire was truly awesome! Fint Oasis is such a peaceful place and it’s worth it to spend two nights to have enough time to wander around and enjoy the lush green river and the surrounding mountains. The rooms are simple but clean (+ AC) and the food is delicious. Rachid and his family are super welcoming and friendly. They were also helping us to organize transport from and to Ouarzazate - plus when we forgot something at the Oasis they managed to bring it to us within 1h and saved us a whole day of traveling. An exceptional place with great hospitality, amazing people, tasty food, and music. One of the best places we stayed in Morocco. The food for dinner and breakfast was very tasty. We got the tour of the Oasis which was super beautiful.

Staying here was a whole experience rather than just accommodation. The location is just magical if a secluded village in an oasis is what you're after. Rachid and others are always friendly, communicative, helpful and create an authentic, vibrant atmosphere with live music every evening. Food was also tasty and portions generous. Perfect place to unwind, relax and enjoy long walks in the oasis that is rich in wildlife and friendly locals.

We were family of four adults. We stayed in Quarzarzate for one night as a stop over after travelling from the desert. Dar Fahana is a lovely place to stay. The pool is set in the most beautiful court yard area with lovely trees, bushes and birds. The pool was lovely and refreshing as well as clean and well maintained. The food was lovely served next to the pool as was breakfast. It is a marvelous place to rest and unwind and escape the heat. The staff were friendly and very attentive. Rooms were clean and air conditioning worked fine. There was private parking for our hire car.

The staff are very friendly - they made sure we had everything we needed from the minute we stepped in the door. The place is also a hidden gem with a lovely garden and pool area -- you would not guess that it is this nice based on the outside. Thank you so much! We also had a lovely dinner there (you have to pay extra for that), as well as a breakfast next to the pool in the morning.

Everything was perfect, the room with private terrace very clean and spacious, the staff nice, hopefully and friendly, the classic moroccain breakfast was delicious and even if the pool is small, was perfect area to take a break, relax and enjoy the hot water! Good hotel like a home!

This was a great place for one night on the way to the desert. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was very good. The location is a little remote, but was a great restaurant within walking distance and we didn’t have any disturbance from planes or traffic. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked very nice and clean. The rooms were a good-size and very clean. It is a stylish place that felt very welcoming. Great value - would recommend.

The view from the roof terrace is stunning. The owner is so friendly, warm and welcoming. It takes a while to understand the traditional Berber style but once you appreciate the mud walls, the huge scale of the property and the traditional feel you realise you are in an authentic place. Our room had great heating (required in January). Location-wise it's quiet and off the beaten track but close enough to drive to places of interest. We chose this place for the free parking and access to other places. You can get dinner from the nearest town. We ate once at La Terrasse by the Carrefour as you drive into town. Overall really loved the fresh air and tranquility as well as the view of the Atlas.

Our stay in Dar Naida Bendriss was perfect. Ali, Wuoalid welcome us with a deliciuos cup of tea and fresh dates. The house was clean and with a traditional design. The bed linen, towel and bathroom was very clean. For dinner we asked for a cous cous and Alí's wife made it for us. The cous cous was just amazing, also because they invite us at their house and we could see how to make it. Anouar, Ali's son stayed and ate with us, he knows a quite good english. All was perfect, a nice stop before a trip to the desert. We also decided to stop another time after the desert and we ate one of the best tajine of our holiday.

This Riad is truly beautiful and located in a lovely area. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool. There are restaurants and shops nearby. Breakfast was excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful. We would love to stay here and highly recommend this to anyone visiting Ouarzazate.

The Riad is placed in a very calm area, with a huge parking in front of it. Lots of families and friendly people leave nearby. The accommodations are very characteristic and nicely decorated, the pool area is nice. The guys have been super helpful and available for any kind of request and the dinner they offered was tasty for a good price.

This Riad is absolutely stunning. The rooms are large and comfy as well as the common areas (both inside and outside). Without doubt the best-looking Riad that we stayed in during our trip throughout Morocco (within this price range). Adding to the overall experience was the helpfulness of the local care-taker. She welcomed us nicely and made sure that we had a good stay. She was always up for a (quick) chat as well! The breakfast was of high quality and served in a cute dining area. Last but not least, the pool allowed for a refreshing dip at the or beginning of the day.

Everything was great! Convenient location, very elegant riad with extraordinary architecture. The nightly caring staff was very appreciated! Nice pool area to relax. The mattresses were really good and we had a comfy sleep.

This Riad was an unexpected surprise. It is a beautiful Riad, very nice and tastefully decorated, with a lovely patio and swimming pool, and a stunning view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome right away. We had dinner elsewhere, so I can't commend on that, but breakfast was very good, with the fresh fruits and the pastry. Loved it. If we would ever pass through Ouarzazate again, InsAllah, this would definitely be the place we would book again.

We stayed here on our way from Merzouga to Marrakech and had a wonderful experience. The hotel has a beautiful garden with a lovely swimming pool right in the middle, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were excellent – spacious, comfortable, and well-kept. The staff were extremely attentive and responsive, always making sure we had everything we needed. Another big plus is that the hotel offers convenient parking, which made our stay even easier.

Beautiful traditional decor Riad . Stunning grounds and pool. Attentive staff who gave myself and teenage daughter, the space to relax but were on hand for any requests, nothing was too much trouble. Amazing lunch, we didn’t get to have a dinner. Breakfast was a big buffet spread.

Good food in the evening and lovely breakfast including Berber omelette. Pool looked very inviting- just a little cold in January! The host Mohamed is extremely helpful, he made our stay twice nicer. I was travelling with my son 13 years old and it was very good place to take a break before desert. If you are a bit tired of loud Marrakesh, it’s fantastic place to rest. One night is not enough, we stayed two. No more time unfortunately.

This is a family house in the middle of Ouarzazate. Don’t get troubled by the views on your way there, once you get in Momo (the amazing host of the property) makes sure you feel welcomed, safe and at home away from home. A kind tea offer, 20 minutes talking with Momo and other guests and it just feels you belong. The swimming pool is amazing, as well as the home made breakfast, super Moroccan and super tasty. Thank you for your hospitality and we will see you again for a tour in the desert!

We had an amazing stay here. Mohammed was so kind and welcoming. He gave us with tea when we arrived and we ate a delicious meal in the evening. The hotel is clean and comfortable with a lovely pool which was very welcome after a long day cycling. It was so lovely we opted to stay an extra day. We would definitely recommend this place.

The pool was lovely. Great after a hot drive from Marrakesh and/or sightseeing. Indoor and outdoor eating/relaxing area. Breakfast was sufficient. If you request by 4pm, dinner will be provided. Best meal I've had in Morocco so far. The host Mohammed was just lovely, a very nice man and his wife an exceptional cook. The room was a good size. There's a great pizza place only a ten minute walk away. Has parking on site.

The Place is very beautiful and peaceful, very near to Ouarzazate (5-10 minutes by car). The swimming pool is clean, refreshing and very pleasant. The owner is very kind and always available to help us and to share suggestions for visits and attractions. Moroccon-style breakfast is nome-made by the owner's wife and it is delicious. Higly recommended!

I highly recommend Warzazat Hostel! It was a great experience — the place is clean and well-maintained, and its location is perfect, just 7 minutes walking or 2 minutes by taxi from the airport. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Mohamed, the host, is a very kind and genuine person who made my stay even better. For the price, it’s really good value. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything is clean, easily accessible and the beds are super comfortable, showers and toilet is great, this is the whole package. But really the two hosts - Mohammed and Hamza is what tied this whole experience together, they are extremely friendly, welcoming and we had some great moments and laughs together, honestly these guys are the best people ive met in Morocco and i hope we'll keep in touch. If i come back to Quarzazate, this will be my top pick for a bed any day, Mohammed also gave us some great tips for scenery and resturants.

A lovely comfortable stay, it was clean and we had enough room. The host (Nathalie) is really friendly and gave us great recommendations for food nearby. We had a very enjoyable breakfast and used the rooftop terrace before we left to relax as nice and quiet.

Everything about this property is magnificent! The location is just perfect – in the old town, very quiet, just over the road from the fantastic cinema museum and round the corner from the extraordinary Old Synagogue which is well worth a visit. Said give us a wonderful welcome tour and tea on the beautiful rooftop terrace overlooking the old town. Our room was just delightful, with one of the comfortable beds we have had so far in Morocco. The hotel is simply beautiful throughout, very calm and decorated with very cool artworks. Dar Kamar is on the expensive side, but well worth it.

Dar Kamar is a very cozy and beautiful hotel. It is well situated close to the Kasbah and museums in Ouarzazate, but a little away from the main roads. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the terrace offers gorgeous views, the food was lovely, and there is a small hammam and massage space where we had a lovely service.

Nothing was too much trouble, the facilities were amazing (possibly the best pool view going). We ate at the restaurant each night, which was a lovely homemade set menu. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, a real throw back in time!

Even though the lake is not as full, the view from the pool is still magnificent. The food was the best chicken tajine and breakfast we’ve had during our stay in Morocco. The staff is extremely helpful and professional. I would definitely come back.

A spacious, well-equipped apartment. 3 bedrooms and a big living area made it perfect for our family of 5. The kitchen was well equipped, and the washing machine was quite handy. The terrace also has a great view of Ouzarzate and the surrounding mountains. Communication was excellent, too. Very happy to recommend.

The customer service, the hygiene, location, the sweet housekeeper, the facilities, space, kitchen. Our baby got really bad gastroenteritis from eating out. Latimad took care of u, offered and took us to the hospital herself. She waited patiently and picked us back up. She met all our other needs as well and was very friendly. I cannot thank her enough. I would definitely only stay here if I was in Ouarzazate again. The place was good for my baby to recover as it felt like home. The big supermarket is very close by which was convenient to cook for my baby.

The apartment is spacious with a large living space and great kitchen facilities. The shower was hot with great pressure and they even went above and beyond and provided robes and slippers. There are great restaurants near by and small market stalls.

A clean, tidy, spacious apartment. A friendly host. Free street parking in front of the building. A good experience. We recommend it.

All together they form an incredible place to stay at, with top quality service, large confortable and clean rooms, magnificent decoration, many common areas to hang out in, including an incredible rooftop with a 360 view on the green oasis of Ouarzazate area, which feels magical in the desert. The staff is so kind, helpful, professional, and they are so many of them ! They can cook delicious food for you. We were lucky to meet the owner who is extremely hospitable, open to talk to, gives genuine advice, and leaves very good peaceful energy. He created a marvellous place which almost feels like a peace of heaven. Bear in mind that the Dars are slightly further from the center of Ouarzazate but it is actually better because of the view and calmness this location allows. The value for money is unbeatable.

We stayed one night at Dar Bladi and loved it! The location (very cute and rural) and view from the terrasse are amazing, the people super nice and welcoming. The dinner and breakfast were really good too. They recommended us places to visit on our way to Merzouga with some tips and with a box of homemade biscuits! We definitely recommend to stay in Dar Bladi or its sister hotel Dar Daif and the would love to come back one day!

All the staff was very kind and ready to give best service possible. They have a really good Moroccan home-made cuisine, probably best food we tasted in all the country! Wonderful view on Ouarzazate and its oasis from the terrace. Position in a village just outside the city makes it really peaceful. Rooms are comfortable, big and clean. We could safely park our motorbike inside their private garage. Super recommended!!

We stayed only one night in Dar Bladi, but really enjoyed our stayed here. The structure is located in the middle of a beautiful village of clay buildings with a great terrace overlooking the valley. The rooms are very nice and clean and they scented really good. The staff was really kind and welcoming and the breakfast and dinner excellent. Reccomended!

We ended up having breakfast, lunch, and dinner there! delicious food and great service. Kudos to Imad, the waiter, he is so gentle and caring. Also Khaled, the host, so nice and attentive.

Simply just faultless. It’s easy to find, sat nav took me straight to the front entrance where I was greeted with a welcoming smile from the concierge. He was so helpful he changed my room to a lowered floor to my request. The apartment was spacious with fully equipped with quiet air con and washing machine. The 2 bedroom was bigger than what I needed and I chose the one with the double bed. The kitchen was well equipped too with a coffee machine and F/F. my apartment had a beautiful view of the square watching the locals chilling at the cafe while not noisy at the same time. Local restaurants and supermarkets are within minutes of walking distances. After a long day riding from the gorges, I was fully recharged, then headed to the local market next morning before setting off.

The accommodation is located about a pleasant 20-minute walk from the Kasbah, close to the airport. That said, Ouarzazate is not a large city — everything is easily accessible on foot. This is an apartment-hotel with modern, well-furnished, and well-equipped apartments spread over several floors. They are suitable even for longer stays, although we only spent one night here while passing through. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and everything went smoothly. The property also has an on-site restaurant where a generous and delicious breakfast is served.

We had a fantastic stay! The apartment was huge, very clean, and had everything we needed. Great location – close to the airport, town, and shops. Breakfast downstairs was delicious, and everyone was so friendly. Amazing value for money. The key pickup was super easy, and the host was perfect – we had lots of laughs! They even printed our boarding passes without us asking. Highly recommend!

Fun to people watch from the balcony. Good shower with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Complimentary toiletries and washing up liquid. 15 min walk from main part of town. Can walk to this accommodation from the airport. Also local shops (including barber) and bakeries within easy walking diatance.

I didn’t get a chance to use the pool as it had been taken over by a large group that were staying at the hotel. I would definitely book this hotel again.

We wanted to stay only one night in the hotel, but finally, we stayed 3 nights. The hotel is in a convenient location next to the bus station and taxi station, in a non-touristy part of town, which was quite nice. The staff was super friendly, there was no problem to prolong our stay. The beds were comfortable and the swimming pool was nice as well. We had dinner several times in the hotel restaurant and we enjoyed it a lot. The food was super delicious.

the apartment was huge, very clean, full of amenities, aircon, even has a washing machine and microwave, and utensils, Great price. I have stayed at afgo before (but first time taking an apartment) as the manager aziz is the .most helpful and freindliest person, he can advise on local places, tours, car/bike rental, also cooks the greatest breakfast on the rooftop terrace. hamza and Ibrahim are great owners also, happy to help the guests with any issues. Taxi just 5 Dirhams to the city centre. Definitely the best private accommodation in ouarzazate.

The auberge is placed in a beautiful and calm place, the hosts were super nice and welcoming, they treated us very well and were very helpful. They played live music by the fireplace in the evening. We stayed in a family suite which had 4 single beds in one room and a double bed in a communicating room, very convenient for large families. I strongly recommend!

We shared a comfortable family room made up of two communicating rooms with ensuite bathroom. We arrived at lunchtime and were offered a light lunch despite the fact it was Ramadan and hadn't booked a meal. The children were delighted. The owner made us feel very welcome and took us on a long walk through the oasis. You can walk through on your own but we learnt a lot about the local villages and life by going with him. Would highly recommend that. Our children really enjoyed the walk and found it very interesting. The evening meal was delicious and plentiful. We did not have a car but had arranged transportation to get there and then the owner arranged a taxi to get us to Ourzazate the next day.

This is basic accommodation but it was beautifully clean and the staff are very friendly and exceptionally helpful. He then took me to a local cafe serving delicious Moroccan food so that I could get something to eat. The bed had a large pile of thick blankets so it was very warm despite the very cold overnight temperatures. The toilet/shower was nice and clean and there was unlimited hot water.

The room included a table and two chairs - a real bonus in budget accommodation. The wifi was good. It was very well located near shops, restaurants and the Carrefour. The hosts were friendly and helpful.
