Everything was according to our expectations, the room was super clean and beautiful, Wi-Fi was working so perfectly, no load shedding occurred, hot water was there all the time, safe packing for our car, the staff was lovely and the guy who assisted us into our room, we used the pool and it was super clean and has a beautiful view towards the ocean 🤍. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and we’ll definitely come back ❤️

I loved the swimming pool and patio that overlooking the beach.. And the caretaker lady that was friendly and helpful.

Loved the location and beautiful Seaview with the swimming pool bonus.

Amazing view of the beach. Great location. Modern and renovated space.

We really enjoyed the view, the beds were amazing and so comfy. It was clean, safe and gorgeous.

All the staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough to help. There is loads to entertain including mashie golf, 2 beautiful pools and some really fun mountain biking trails. Sitting on your balcony watching the birds is dreamy. When we went it was quiet and relaxing, we often had the pool to ourselves. The beach is also exceptional.

Thank you for a fabulous weekend. We also appreciated the added Easter gestures at check inn & inside our room 210 was just gorgeous. Will definitely be back again soon. We loved every part of it. Next time we do hope that it is a little warmer as now summer is over & the pool was iced, with a crisp chill in the air, but still so enjoyable & relaxing. Staff were absolutely friendly from the gates, reception, ,housekeeping, beach area, restaurant, pool sides even the life gaurds.

Beautiful surroundings, pools and golf course. Buck running around freely. The dinner was very good but a bit on the pricey side. Close to pools and amenities. The spa is lovely. Had the best massage with my husband. You get free still waters brought to your room every day. Has bar fridge in room.

San Lameer is in a most stunning location on the KwaZulu Natal south coast! We loved breakfast overlooking the river and pool and walking along the palm lined roud to the beach. The hotel restaurant showcases traditional South African food which we thoroughly enjoyed. Staff were welcoming and very friendly and offered outstanding service. Our rooms were very comfortable. We will definitely be back!

The hotel is next to the beach with a beautiful view. Friendly staff from the security and so helpful. You cook your own breakfast at your choice but it's near the restaurants. I mostly love that the hotel is facing Mozambique restaurant and the pub and grill. I loved the heated pool

Friendly welcoming staff from the security to the administration , the fact that it's nearby restaurants and of course the sea view👌 and ohh the welcoming dance from the staff by the pool, we had fun...

The place was absolutely amazing, I love the fact that the pool is heated, the property got a powerful generator in the event of load shedding, there is absolutely everything you need in the unit, it is a home away from home. our stay was perfectly amazing , the location was superb , stuff were very helpful. I was amazed. it was perfect.

I especially liked the comfort and the view from the balcony, it was so relaxing. The pool is always warm and size is great too, I loved it so much. Staff super friendly, the place is awesome.

Swimming pool was also very well maintained. Beach is a short walk away as well as very close to retaurants and shopping centers. It was an excellent week away and very highly recommended.

the swimming pool and the breakfast took the crown

Weather was raining the whole day, stayed indoors. Couldn't even go for asswim in the pool.

Location great, walking distance to the beach. Breakfast scrumptious. Service from the bar excellent. Dinner buffet very good, just the last night of my stay the dinner was disappointing. Room very tidy and spacious.

Spacious rooms, all amenities for a homely stay provided (including fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms). Money well spent for a beautiful view and relaxing stay. Jacuzzi, pool, sauna, bar and beach close by with plenty of daily activities at pool deck or you simply make your own itinery to explore Margate. Friendly staff and good overall service and experience.

The sea views from the (very large) balcony are incredible and we were lucky to see some whales on our last afternoon. The heated pool is a hit for the days when the beach is a bit windy or the weather isn't ideal - as a family we spent almost every afternoon at the entertainment / pool area. Given that August is still considered winter, we had stunning weather and a great stay. Lucien beach is a short walk away and was the best beach we visited during our trip.

Easy to find. Beautiful view. most importantly the stuff are super friendly and helpful. Appreciated the heated pool we could swim at anytime

Beach access, swimming pool and Breakfast

The combination of the stunning location, excellent accommodation, and a team that genuinely cared about making our stay memorable left us thoroughly impressed. Andre went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed and provided excellent local recommendations for restaurants. The staff were equally fantastic, attentive and always available to help with a smile. Our room was spacious, modern, and perfectly maintained. The bed was very comfortable, making it easy to drift off to the sound of the ocean.

Andres exceptional service is definitely going to draw more customers for the owners. He treated us like we were family meeting us after a long time. Will definitely visit again. 😊 hubby and I chat for hours yet enjoying the tranquility, view of the beach, fresh air Brekkies was scrumptious 😋 with exceptional service delivery loved the fruit salad with toasted almonds and cream, bacon eggs and sausage, fresh juice and coffees Kitchen staff served us quickly, making it possible to arrive on time for church before 9 Andre you have provided the best service from any host we have experienced thus far, 10 star eating 👏 😀 😉 👌

Tropical beach is a stunning place. Literally walk onto the beach. The room was modern, clean, neat and spacious. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us for breakfast- Outside of their usual sitting times. This is a 5 star B&B

The two bedroom apartment was nice with a small walk to the Beach. We did not enjoy the swimming pool as it was very deep. it was a short stay with a early check out.

We will definitely book again. Just the pool is too deep for kids.

My stay was absolutely wonderful. The place was spotless, situated in a peaceful and safe area. The owner went above and beyond by leaving a thoughtful gift in our room, which was such a kind gesture. During check-in, he explained everything clearly and kindly. We were provided with clean sheets that were changed regularly, and pool towels were readily available when we went to the pool. Every little detail was taken care of, making the experience truly exceptional. Highly recommend this place!

The bedroom was very nice, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was beautiful had a pool view. Definitely coming back

I loved the safety of the area, cleanliness and friendly housekeeping. The venue was very nice to relax in with a pool which I never even got a chance to use... A great reason to go back.

Staff very friendly including the owners very much helpful and caring. My Room was also very clean and it was comfortable

Lovely place, safe and very tranquil. The host, and housekeeping lady were very friendly and welcoming. Property was very clean.

Everything was exceptional, from their Friendly staff Monde who welcomed us on our late check in and assisted and helped us through out our stay. Their apartment is very clean ,spacious and gorgeous. Definitely going back next time with my friends I want them to have an experience of the place and that beautiful sea view and capture some pool content 🤍 it was my second time at costa smeralda and I can’t wait for my third time there .

Everything was so perfect, the swimming pool is so lovely, I even got a chance to play a chess for the 1st time 😊👏❤️ The welcoming from Monde at the reception was so excellent, keep up the good work👏❤️

I loved the whole apartment. It was a beautiful apartment with beautiful views. I just wish that the apartment had a lift because I had traveled with old people. But we managed. The apartment was so spacious and the bathrooms were amazing. We had a lovely stay and I enjoyed every moment of it. The apartment was fully equipped and everything was easy to use. The host and the staff were absolutely wonderful. They even got my mother in law a birthday cake for her birthday😊 the pool was absolutely lovely and well taken care of. The drive to the place was wonderful. There were restaurants all around. It's such a family orientated place and it makes you feel so comfortable that you do not want to leave at all.

The hostess was very friendly and welcoming with refreshments. The view was exceptional it’s right at the beachfront

The receptionist Nomonde, was superb, such a courteous, helpful lady. She arranged for the perfect front apartment. Beachfront views were spectacular. There was some lights during loadshedding.

The host and staff were extremely friendly 💐❤️and accommodating, they went an extra mile to make our stay more comfortable and smooth. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable, amenities supplied and replenished during the period of our stay. Loved the pool and ocean view👌. All our expectations were met, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend and return.

Very friendly owners and staff. Stunning view. Breakfast served in a very nice way and a lot of choices. Very relaxing atmosphere. Lovely pool overlooking the ocean.

Amazing view and easy walking access to a pristine beach. The owners dogs can be a nuisance at times. Breakfast is very limited, and does not have much to offer in terms of being Halaal friendly. Accommodation is reasonably maintained but could be better.

No question this is an excellent place to stay in Margate. Terrific views of the ocean, friendly and courteous staff and Sharon, the owner, is simply the best - so helpful and attends to your every need! The rooms were clean, spacious and well appointed and the breakfasts were excellent. Without a doubt, A+++ accommodation!

Amazing room, clean, comfortable and large. Treated by seeing hundred of dolphins and several whales from my balcony. Breakfasts good, friendly staff, highly recommend this property

My Husband & are on our honeymoon and we were treated to a beautiful congratulations card and a courtesy bottle of wine. Very friendly reception staff & security at entrance and exit. . Upon arriving early we had a look at the pool which was nice and blue spent a lovely afternoon at The Renau with great music & delicious food and great service. Room was nice and clean and facilities were comfortable and we had a good night's rest. Thank you St Michael's Hotel for a really lovely and memorable stay.

The staff is overall exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were very excited to also have a full size fridge in our unit. The main restaurant has exceptionally tasty food but the breakfast is wonderful value for money. We also loved the fact that the swimming pool was for residents only.

The location is amazing.within five minutes walk to the beach, the pool is big and for kiddies as well. There is a restaurant upstairs with affordable prices. It's also near the malls and shops. Our room was spacious and very clean. We would highly recommend it to any family.

The property is in a good location, closer to the shops and the staff is very friendly. We had lots of fun in the swimming pool

Two villas were spectacular, spacious, spotless clean with modern furniture, private swimming pools, they had everything that we needed. The sea view, wifi, and the bonus one, we literal forgot about the load shedding it was like we were in another country we really enjoyed our trip without load shedding. And there is also a game room for kids and adults with different activities that you can do as a family. Thank you so much.

Game rooms, pool , how close it was to the beach... the walk around all the facilities was short. well kept resort and very clean.

The flat was absolutely lovely and the reception helped with all our request. Exceptional facility for young children, they love the playroom, the pool and the mini golf

Lush surroundings coupled with unique living accommodation. Comfortable and well laid out kitchen and bathroom areas. Exceptional deck with ample seating and pool. Lovely lilly ponds with "frogphonies" singing you to sleep at night!! Beach very close, less than 10 minutes away with inspirational pebbles lining the way.Caretakers: friendly and full of advice. Were even offered honey on the comb.

It is well maintained, clean and has everything you need. We stayed in Wagtail which is very private and has a lovely splash pool. The beach is a beautiful short walk away. Josette was very helpful! We will definitely go back!

During the day, we enjoyed hearing the waves at the beach and lots of birds. At night, the frogs were present as well. We really enjoyed being surrounded by nature. We stayed at the Fisheagle Cottage. It’s a spacious house with two bedrooms, a private pool, and a nice outdoor area featuring a braai and fire basket. The cottage overlooks the 2 ponds, where the birds and frogs are. Just a five-minute walk brought us to a ‘private’ beach, where we spent two hours without seeing any people.

Private beach, Private pool, from the moment we arrived we were welcomed with warm hospitality., breathtaking views n surrounding nature. The location is peaceful. We can't wait to go back

I absolutely loved the setting of the glamping tent. The grounds are beautiful, lush, and tropical with lawns and ponds. I appreciated the comfortable bed and private splash pool on the deck. The kitchen is well equipped, and the bathroom has a shower and slipper bath. The night sounds are spectacular! Best of all, no loadshedding as the units are off-the-grid!
