Amazing service and effort from the host. The Villa is fantastic and there is nothing negative to be mentioned. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were pure clean and the rooms were big, full stacked with additional stuff like washing machine, separate kitchens, hairdryers, towels TVs, airconditioners and etc. There is secured parking space and a lot of cool lights around the barbecue and the garden. The grass was 10 of 10. Amazing communication with the host.

Superbe villa offering incredible views, in a peaceful setting. We stayed there for four days, with a group of 21 people. The amenities are truly comprehensive, the pool is fantastic and the outdoor space offerts an idyllic setting for everyone to get together, with a large barbecue area. I wouldn't hesitate to return. The villa management is perfect, they care about our comfort and ensure we lack nothing. I highly recommend it.

Above all, we would like to commend the villa’s owner, Stelios, for the warm welcome and the many tips he gave us for the island’s best beaches and restaurants. His generous hospitality and constant care for all our needs made our stay at the villa truly unforgettable.

The hotel is brand new and exactly as shown in the photos. The view is breathtaking and the sunsets are unbelievable. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with the bare minimum, but absolutely enough for breakfast or pasta. The private pool is amazing. The cleaning lady comes in certain intervals and changes towels on request. The location is not central, but the view makes up for the extra few minutes drive. Mr Stelios is an amazing host. He made sure that we have everything we need during our stay. We will come back next year for sure!

Our stay in Dedalos was a great experience. From the awesome view to the hospitality of Stelios, everything was perfect. We will definitely go back there. The apartment was clean and offered the expected comfort, swimming pool was well maintained and Stelios was extremely kind and helpful. We highly recommend this place.

Very nice property with a quiet location and beautiful views. You can enjoy the amazing sunsets from the pool with a drink or have a snack and lie on the comfortable loungers.

The Great place to stay for 1 week on Crete. Amazing view from the pool, one of the nicest landor (Stelios) I have ever met. The property is well located, clean, the only one thing you have to do is to go to shop, complete your fridge and enjoy the holidays! Definitely I will be coming back and recommend to all my friends.

Met the hosts at the villa who showed us around. Warm welcome with a fabulous hamper of goodies. Villa very clean and well equipped with all the essentials we needed for our holiday. Shops and restaurants just a few minutes walk down the hill. We loved the fact that it was close to the centre but yet quiet and away from it all. The teenagers loved the pool and had their own bathrooms in each room. Best to park your car in the car park down the hill. We should have booked an extra day for our first time in Plakias, Crete. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality and raki!

The property was of an exceptionally high standard both in design, cleanliness and facilities offered. They had added all the extra amenities to ensure we had an amazing stay. Gift Basket upon arrival with local fruits, nuts and drinks. The kitchen was well stocked with both equipment and items for cleaning and cooking. The outdoor barbecue was a great option for cooking at home. We loved the pool area and the family enjoyed being close to the village centre for dining and shopping. Having 3 bathrooms was very helpful for a large family.

Wonderful brand new big villa with private swimming pool and fully equipped. Hosts super kind, excellent welcome and at disposal for any possible need. Highly recommended!

Stefanos is a beautiful medium sized modern hotel complex, built in greek style up on the slopes overlooking Plakias Bay, with great views but quit location. Spacious apartment with all what is needed, including seaview, spacious balcony (with private hot spa), very friendly staff, good breakfast buffet and also nice infinity pool (for which it was too cold and windy during our stay, but is awesome).

I arrived to this hotel by chance. I wanted to go to Preveli beach from Rethymno. There was not enough time to go back to Rethymno so I ended up staying in Mirthio village at Stefanos hotel for one night. I could not have done a better choice for the price: big room and bathroom, both spotlessly clean with a balcony with view to a lush garden and the wonderful sea. They even had a pool and sunbeds but why stay by the pool when you have the sea so close. Despite this minor inconvenience I have enjoyed the one day spent in Mirthio and I would definitely come back.

Beautiful property with stunning views. The pool was wonderful with breathtaking views over the Lybian sea. Our room was very comfortable; Great beds, lovely linen and towels, beautiful views. All the staff we encountered (reception, restaurant & housekeeping) were very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was lovely. Would recommend without any hesitation. We had a very relaxing stay and would certainly go back in a heart beat.

The hotel is beautiful and perfect for a romantic escape. The room was just perfect and the bed very comfortable. I loved the balcony and the fantastic view with mountains and the sea. We also enjoyed the pool outside and ordered a fresh, cold-pressed juice. In the village you can also find very nice restaurants.

The breakfast is nothing special and not well organized. I felt that for the price you pay for your stay features such as parking or breakfast should be included. Staff except for one girl working in the pool bar, are not really welcoming.

Absoluter Pluspunkt ist die Lage des Hotels an einem Berghang mit herrlichem Blick auf die Bucht von Plakias und das lybische Meer. Weiterer starker Pluspunkt ist die Ruhe, die insbesondere nach 22 Uhr herrschte und wesentlich zur Erholung beigetragen hat. Ferner sind hervorzuheben: die schöne Anlage mit Aparments und Studios im Wesentlichen aus Natursteinen und Holz, die sauberen, geräumigen Zimmer, der schöne Pool in Aussichtslage, der freundliche Service sowie die Nähe zu schönen Stränden (insb. Damnoni Beach), die mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten erreichbar sind. Das Frühstücksbuffet war landestypisch nicht sehr reichhaltig, aber dem Preis ( 6 €) mehr als angemessen. Einziger Minuspunkt war das Abendessen, nicht wegen seiner Qualität, sondern wegen der geringen Auswahl; es gibt nur zwei Hauptgerichte. Es gibt aber gute Tavernen in Myrthios (ins. Panorama).

Spätsommer im Herbst, es ist Saisonausklang, nur wenige Reisende sind unterwegs, eine Stimmung, die dem kleinen Bergdorf gut steht. Das Hotel mit seinen ineinander verschachtelten Appartements hat nur wenige Gäste zu der Zeit, man kann die Ruhe und weite Aussicht über die Bucht von Plakias genießen und im Sonnenschein im Pool baden. Auf der Terrasse reifen die Orangen und rund um werden die Oliven geerntet. Eine Ideale Zeit die Insel auf eigene Faust zu erkunden, wozu die Lage der Unterkunft gut geeignet ist. Zumindest in die mittleren und südlichen Regionen sind Tagesausflüge mit dem Leihwagen leicht zu bewältigen, wenn man sich an die schmalen Straßen und Serpentinen gewöhnt hat und sich auf Ziegenherden und Steinschlag an den Berghängen eingestellt hat. Es gibt so viel zu sehen, dass eine Woche schnell zu kurz wird. Im Herbst ist auch das Wanderwetter ideal aber man muss damit rechnen, dass organisierte Touren nicht mehr angeboten werden, so dass man nicht alle Schluchten durchstreifen kann. Und am Abend gibt es zur Stärkung ein vorzügliches Essen in der Dorftaverne 'Dionyssos', wo in familiärer Atmosphäre nach Landesart gekocht und serviert wird und Gastfreundschaft, wie überall auf der Insel, einen hohen Wert hat. Ein idealer Ort für eine entspannte spätsommerliche Herbstwoche!

Sehr netter Empfang (in deutscher Sprache). Bei der Übergabe des Zimmers wurden wir auf diverse Verbote wie z.B.: Papier nicht in die Toilette werfen oder für den Strand kostenpflichtige Handtücher zu verwenden etc. Parkplätze sind zwar vorhanden aber nicht in ausreichender Anzahl und so mussten wir manchmal in der Zufahrtsstrasse parken. Das bei Expedia angeführte Frühstück kostete letztlich nicht € 5,00 sondern € 8,00. Die Reparatur einer losen Kastentüre dauerte nach Meldung an der Rezeption 4 Tage. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals und vor allem die atemberaubende Lage, der sehr saubere Pool machten die kleinen Ärgernisse mehr als wett. Ich möchte gerne wieder einen Urlaub mit meiner Familie dort verbringen.

My partner and I visited Stefanos Village in June 2014 and we were certainly not disappointed. Its not often that you stay somewhere and the accomodation photos from the website are exactly the same as the real thing. The views from the hotel are simply outstanding. Its a family run place that is quiet and tranquil and just off the main road. Just a few minutes walk from the village and close to all amenities. There's an abundance of beaches close by and the sun shone the whole time. The local restaurants are excellent and "Mama" at Stefanos' cooks the best Mousaka for miles!!! The surrounding area of the apartments is abundant with peach trees and roses and flowers, making the whole experience wonderful. The junior suite was fresh, tasteful and luxurious, completely spotless and cleaned daily with fresh linen and towels. I cant fault the service we were given, we were treated both personally and efficiently. They couldn't have done more to make us feel really truly welcome and we will definately return in the future.

The apartment was really nice, large and clean. Sheets and towels were spotless as well. Swimming pool also had a clean water and no weird smells. There were some problems with water pressure due to sandstorms, but our hostess Popi upgraded us to a bigger apartment where pressure and temperature was perfect.

The apartment was very comfortable, in a complex that never felt crowded, although it was full. The pools were amazing, surrounded by trees. The air conditioning worked well, no problems with hot water. The complex is 10 minutes away from the beach by car, but it is worth it if you want to avoid the crowds and feel a bit of authentic Cretan atmosphere. There are also awesome Tavernas just 3 min uphill, with nice views, awesome food and playgrounds for kids.

Very quiet, and relaxing. We had the pool pretty much to ourselves most days. Apartment was clean, tidy and spacious.

The room was amazing, it’s more of a studio flat minus cooking facilities but it was so comfortable and spacious. Excellent for two of us. The pool too, really lovely and it’s so close to the beach. The gym was a nice all be it basic addition, and the tv in the room was a bonus. It’s a really relaxing place to stay and we’ll certainly visit again. The staff, when we saw them were very helpful but they often weren’t around so it felt super private. The room was so quiet, we saw other guests but as I say, it felt like our own place!

The property was in a great location, close to the beach and many restaurants. The rooms and pool were clean and had a luxury feel which made it perfect for relaxing.

A beautiful boutique hotel just a couple of minutes from the beach in Plakias. Staff were very friendly and check-in was easy. The suite we booked was gorgeous with a very high spec. Breakfast was huge and very delicious, so definitely take advantage of this. Didn't use the pool, but it looked lovely and clean.
