The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Diana at the front desk was especially helpful during our stay. Breakfast was excellent. Good selection of hot and cold foods. Coffee maker with multiple choices of different coffees and a fresh squeezed orange juice maker. The beach was a short walk away down the hill and once there offered a nice hike up a hill to beautiful views. Four outdoor pools ( not heated) including an adult only pool and an Indoor heated pool in the spa was wonderful. Photos are views from our room.

The apartment was very spacious, with a nice pool view. The many pools (especially the one overlooking the ocean) were terrific. The grounds are beautiful -- lots of flowering bushes -- and it's a very very short walk to a beautiful beach. The front desk folk are very welcoming and helpful. Liked having bars/snacks right at the pools. You definitely feel like you are on vacation here. The restaurant was quite nice, and the resort is a quick 5 minute drive into town. Love that they supply beach towels!

We absolutely loved our holiday here. We had a roof top apartment 3 bedrooms. Wow, incredible views, rooms are beautiful and the furnishings are classy and well thought out. Hotel restaurant is 10/10. So many pools to chose from and indoor pool and spa area with hydro large pool. Beach 3 min walk, perfect soft sand. We got Ubers into Lagos lots of times and also used the bus by the beach. Ubers are around 4 euros. This hotel is 10/10. My teenagers absolutely felt like they were somewhere only rich people come. We loved our 2 bedroom apartment. The beds were comfortable and all of the rooms had electronic rolladen shutters making the rooms completely dark for sleeping. The apartments had all of the basics we needed. We also loved the pool facilities. The hydro pool and sauna was a treat and real surprise. We enjoyed all of the different stations in the hydra pool for massage and relaxation. We did breakfast one day and found it to be very high quality and diverse. I would recommend it. Finally, the customer service at the front desk, spa and bar was amazing.

Great location with a short walk to the beach. Clean facilities, plenty of pools to choose from including the indoor pool and spa. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy parking with space in underground garages. Poolside food and service was great.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection was fantastic 10/10. It's a ten minute walk from Alvor town so good location. Lovely infinity pool on the roof along with sun loungers and outdoor seating for breakfast etc. Seems to be a centre for yoga and well being coaches but this is mixed with ordinary residents such as ourselves. The spa facilities which are inclusive are great; sauna, Turkish style steam room and therapy pools. If you want a relaxing spot in Alvor, this place is hard to beat.

The atmosphere was amazing, large green gardens and hammocks outside, a beautiful rooftop infinity pool and sunbathing area. The whole place was beautiful!

This guesthouse is well maintained, everything was clean and cozy. The area around the house was also very pleasant for spending time outside the room. Rooftop veranda and heated infinity pool with ocean view were amazing. I also liked that we had cleaning and fresh towels everyday. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Amazing place that went far beyond my expectations. The place is even better than the pictures. The room was really nice with a big window overlooking the garden. The bed is really comfortable, lots of pillows and the best mattress. The cleaning level was very high. The garden surrouding the villa is lovely with plants and chairs where to hang out. The common areas like the 2 rooftops were the best part, a view on the city of Lagos and Praia de Meio. The infinity pool was the gem, even though the temperature didn't allow me to take a swim, I still half bathed. Finally the breakfast was included and it had lots of delicious options. Thank you!

This is honestly one of the nicest places I've stayed in. And I've stayed in alot! Amazing location with stunning view of Lagos. Roof top Terrance and pool (pool is small). Really nice clean room with little terrace and ensuite. Amazing breakfast, unlimited coffee, food and where they will make you toasted sandwiches no extra cost if you ask! Really cool chill out area too with hammocks and seating area. Just 10 mins walk to the centre of town. Definitely coming here again Staff also amazing I could go on!!

The location was great and the amenities brilliant, the hammock, pool. It looked like a very friendly place unfortunately we were there for only one night so did not get a chance to talk to anybody else, but we did enjoy chilling by the pool.

The main bonus about this accommodation was the access to 2 private, large & very clean swimming pools within the resort complex, lovely lounge area with a scenic view & cafe. the fixtures & fitting in flat were of a vey high standard. The beach was 5 minutes walk & lots of coastal trails for walking. The accommodation was safe & secure.

The bedroom and its private bathroom are spacious and very clean. The shared kitchen has everything you need, there's a nice patio for peaceful dinners, and Daniel (who is living there) is very nice and helpful, not intrusive at all. I had a very nice and quiet rest here, highly recommended! One thing to note, I only learned from the reviews that this is a shared accomodation, which was not a problem at all, it just wasn't entirely clear from the description.

My very favourite place to stay in Luz! clean, comfortable, pleasant host, quiet area near the beach. There is nothing more I could want.

Daniel is a very nice host and really helpful with everything. The place os clean and spacious, the beds are really comfortable.

First class accommodation, the apartments are spacious and clean. As is the pool and pool toilet facilities. Not the biggest pool in the world, but was more than sufficient for us and was never overly busy. Free safe in the room was a bonus, reception staff were friendly and helpful. We were offered the use of the luggage room on our departure to have a shower and freshen up with towels and toiletries provided all for free. This was my second stay and we will definitely be back.

Never an issue getting sun beds at the pool, no need to get up early to reserve them! Plenty of food options at the pool snack bar. Pint at the bar less than 4 euro. Rooms extremely clean. If you’re looking for a quiet place, good for kids and families close you Lagos, this is your spot! They had many activities happening around the property and were very close to the city of Lagos, although you would need a car to get around. Pool area was nice and food was good. The rooms were clean and spacious and it was nice to have a kitchenette and ability to do laundry. We had a great stay there and would go again in a heartbeat. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only down side was the “spa”, I wouldn’t recommend!

Our stay at Aldeia Azul was amazing. The villa was clean and has so much facilities. I have to mention Lucas (receptionist), he was extremely helpful. He spend a good 15min providing us local insight on food and major attractions. He even helped us find a local rental car which was much cheaper than online. The resort has a nice restaurant, pool, minigolf and so much more! Location was ideal! In general this resort was amaZing!

Very friendly and helpful staff at reception and the dining area. The resort is quiet. The pools are not big but enough for children to play. Location is good. 10 minutes drive to a few beautiful beach areas and the old city. We also played mini-golf, tennis and beach volleyball on site. In general, a very pleasant stay at Aldeia Azul!

The Marina Rio Hotel is situated in a great spot in Lagos. What a welcoming, hard working staff. Be sure to pay extra for a Marina view, it’s worth it. The hotel feels bright, fresh, clean and friendly. Breakfast buffet is available between 8am to 10am…what a great choice of food available…even Tetley tea in a pot! Bedroom decorated in a good blend of colours. En suite was walk-in with detachable shower head. Roof top pool is small but cooling on a hot day. Great views from sun bed area with comfortable beds. All in all a great choice for a stay in Lagos.

We didn't have a view of the marina from our room but thought although it would've been nice, the view of the bus terminal didn't bother us. Rooftop pool is small but nice to have for a quick dip.

The property was part of a beautifully maintained resort with spotless gardens and well-kept grounds, creating a peaceful atmosphere. It was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, whether for one night or longer. There were two restaurants, pools, and other amenities on-site, though we didn’t get a chance to try them. Just a note for coffee lovers: only enough coffee was provided for one morning, so it might be worth checking with the staff if you’d like more. The area was spotless, with a lovely view. Highly recommended!

Nice variety of breakfast items, some options changed daily. Option is available for made to order eggs. Did not need to walk too far to go to the beach. Staff was very helpful and did have good recommendations for places to visit. Nice pool and bar. Hotel was quiet too. Room size was good and nice balcony to sit out on overlooking the pool. Could see beautiful sunsets as well. We were given a complimentary bottle of champagne for staying 4 nights and was offered a welcome drink as well. Nice touches.

The room was very clean, spacious and just amazing. Had AC, balcony and comfy bed. The breakfast was veeery good, clean hallways to sit down too. The pool was great with nice benches to lay down also with umbrella for some shadow. They borrowed us a umbrella for the beach too with no cost. Staff was amazing, I think her name was Carla she was super helpful with everything gave us detailed information about history of lagos & best things to do. Definitely coming back

We loved a peaceful location and very relaxed atmosphere. Hotel consists of 3 buildings, our bedroom was in modern part of the hotel. Main building had more traditional look. Bedroom was very spacious, large and comfortable bed was made up and fresh towels provided every day. Large swimming pool and pretty garden were superb place to chill out. Staff friendly and very attentive , nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was very good , variety of different food to choose from. Surprised it is not rated as 4 star hotel . We would love to come back!

The place itself is gorgeous. As you enter you see the pool, which is beautifully framed, and the place is very well maintained. The staff are friendly and professional, and you stay in a mini-apartment, with a kitchenette, fridge and stove, bathroom and either a balcony or direct access to the pool area. Breakfast is delicious and served in a beautiful glass-surrounded area. The whole experience is lovely.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We played tennis every morning and also enjoyed the pool area, which was lovely and quiet. The town was a little further away than expected, but we used ubers to get around. Our studio apartment was well equipped with lovely sea and pool views, beds very comfortable.

Big rooms, super friendly personal, we booked kayak trip and dolphin watching tour directly in the hotel after arrival. The pool is amazing, 1 meter to 2 meter deep gradually, nice sitting area around, a bar next to the pool. The room is big, windows from both sides so theres really nice breeze all the time:) The hotel is on a small hill , very quiet and private. Who doesnt have rented car should order Uber in advance to get there, from lagos center to here about 5 euro.

Excellent, and not too noisy. Room: We had an accessible room. Not recommended. Funky shower and toilet area with no privacy. So can't judge the non-accessible friendly rooms Staff-Not over the top and nothing negative to contribute. Just good overall. Pool area: See pics. Great infinity pool which we did not use. Outdoor bar area had very nice views.

The location was very close to the town centre and to the local spar. The pool area was well kept and pretty quiet so great for relaxing. We loved how our apartment was so close to the pool! The cleaners also knocked every day to keep the room clean which was a nice addition and the bathroom was quite modern and spacious.

Was exactly what we needed in the middle of our vacation, a nice relaxing spot with a pool! It is also walking distance to beaches, and some great restaurants (Restaurant Prato Cheio!) If you can, get the triple room, as that has poolside access. Kitchen had everything we needed to make a full dinner. Would definitely stay again! Muito obrigado Sollagos!

The apartment was impeccably clean (and I can be fussy about cleanliness) with all the necessary facilities, comfortable bed and a big terrace with a pool view. I had a really great stay here! The property had all the space and freedom of an apartment but had the staff and reception of a hotel. It was very clean and bigger than expected! it had nice touches like the electric fan, hairdryer, kitchen equipment and the washing line and furniture on the patio. The pool area was great and the pool a perfect temperature. The location was perfect too, around 10 minute walk into the centre of town. Spar supermarket with everything you need only 5 mins away. We arrived at 18:15 and had to wait at the reception untill we got the key to our room. Because of this we could not enter the pool/spa area anymore, as these rooms close at 19:00. This also goes for the pool. I think it was a bummer for us, because we payed extra for this hotel especially because of the facilities, but unfortunately they close very early. Nevertheless, all facilities are very nice.

The little balcony (ground level) was towards the pool, so having been here off season, it was super quiet and idyllic to look past the pool to the sea. Probably less privacy in this specific room if there are lots of people by the pool. For us in early March, it was perfect!

Our room was so lovely! We had a terrace by the pool, and made friends as we were having our breakfast. The view was great...the pool, and beyond the gorgeous ocean! The staff was friendly and pretty knowledgeable. We loved the setup of the studio room, with kitchen, seating, and comfortable terrace. I'd go back in a minute.

A lovely apartment-hotel, in a great location! The staff are friendly, the apartments are very spacious, have stunning views over the pool, and the beds were very comfortable too. The pool is even bigger than the photos! It gets all day sunshine so a great place to lounge in the sun. It’s a short walk to the beach and the centre of the old town. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved everything, The uber dropped us at the door, we were greeted and checked in and shown to our room. Room was perfect, balcony onto the pool. Walk to the grocery shop 5 minutes' walk. Absolutely beautiful property, on top of a cliff the views overlooking the water are unbelievable. Incredible walk to the lighthouse and cliff, great for sunset watching, morning strolls and pictures. The pool was refreshing and stunning, a perfect place to relax during the day. The food selection is great as well both in the restaurants, poolside and breakfast buffet. The staff is super friendly. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, beautiful balcony view.

Stayed for 2 nights as a solo female traveller. Service overall was impeccable. My room was spacious with a giant bed. I'm sensitive to noise and it was very quiet in my room. Food options are very tasty with lots of nutritious options. The breakfast was one of the best I've come across. The hotel gym was well equipped for a hotel gym. The outdoor pool at the spa is adult only for most of the day so that was very welcome as there are quite a few families and young children at the main pool during early June.

Traditional style architecture apartment complex with a great location just above a broad beach on a stunning cliff. You could see signs of aging, but the apartments and the whole complex are well mentained and euipped. The most impressive is the whole ambience and landscaping-lots of greens, trees, flowers and generous outdoor spaces. What a lovely place to stay! Our room was huge and had a sea view, it was cleaned every day and had everything we needed for our 8 month old baby. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Our pool view room was spacious and comfortable with a great balcony for enjoying the evening sunshine. The football pitch was the highlight for our 8 year old boy! Vitor’s Plaza is an excellent family hotel.

Pleasant stay. The room is a bit dated, but it was very large, clean and sufficient. The kitchen in the room could use a few more utensils, but it was fine for the two of us. The inside pool was nice, it was one of the reasons why I booked the hotel. The outside pool was a bit too cold for the end of October, but it looked very nice. all-in-all a very good stay.

The site has been recently refurbished and part of the refurbishment must have included getting the swimming pool re-done for hotel purposes. It’s not deep but it is a big pool and despite the hotel being full, it never felt busy. Was a very quiet and relaxing area around the pool and it was always easy enough to get a free sun bed. Not many kids either.

Apartments were spacious, well maintained and clean. Fresh towels and cleaning every day bar Sunday. Very friendly and helpful receptionist staff. Poolside Bar - food very tasty.

Very well maintained hotel, with hotel rooms and apartments. The pool(3 of) consists of a full sized pool and two smaller children's pools. Staff are exceptional - helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Will be back.

We had a 4 night stay early June in a twin bed room overlooking the pool. View was great and the room immaculate too. Pool is enormous with plenty of beds available each day. Staff are really friendly and helpful, offering great advice on tours. Centre of Lagos is a 15/20min walk and nearest beach about 10mins away. Buffet breakfast has plenty of options and snack bar is available in the day with happy hour from 1-4pm. Highly recommend this hotel for optimum relaxation and chill

Our room was a standard double and was huge, and really comfortable, fridges in the room was an added bonus.

The stuff was so helpful and friendly, location was a good short drive from the city center and close to all town and village. After all our tour and we come back relaxing at the pool.They have two big pool for us to go too. Excellent for gofter. Very beautiful view from the room and restaurant patio, especially starting your morning beautiful and fresh air. I would stay there again.

We stayed for 3 nights in July 2025 and everything was outstanding. The cleanliness was impeccable, the breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of choices, and the view over the golf courses was simply beautiful. The pool was spotless and the water was pleasantly warm, perfect for relaxing. The atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, which allowed us to truly unwind – even though we’re not golf players. The appartment was nice, very clean and very well equipped. It was a bit older than it looked on the photos, but still great. We had a 1st floor room and could sit on the balcony and have a view of the pool. The food at the poolside restaurant is amazing! Also the family feel of the whole complex is really nice. It's situated in walking distance (10-15 minutes) from the city center. If you have a car, this is an awesome homebase!

Loved everything very clean equipped apartment has everything. Beds very comfortable with nice linen and soft pillows. Pool was beautiful with plenty of seating and very clean. Nice drinks bar as well in pool area with very nice staff. I would definitely stay there again.

The apartments were spacious and I did like the beds (they are a bit harder, but that’s perfect for me). The apartment itself is about a 15 minute walk from Lagos Old Town which was easily doable for us for mooching and eating out. It is also near to some exceptional beaches. It was a really lovely week away.

We were a group of four and had an amazing time at this apartment in Lagos. Ana was incredibly nice and super friendly – she made us feel welcome right from the start. The location of Marina Club resort was perfect! Right on the marina with a balcony facing the water and boardwalk where we could sit and watch all the activity. The room was large! With a living room, kitchen area, separate bedroom and a bathroom. Everything was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. We didn’t use the pools but saw a lot of people enjoying them. They had a kiddy pool and a nice big swimming pool for adults. It looked very nice. Breakfast was included with our stay and was a great spread of different dishes. We would definitely stay there again!

Our balcony overlooked the pool and was a nice view! Pool is cold but very refreshing when it gets so hot in Lagos! Walk into town in about 15 - 20 minutes. Large grocery store (Pingo Doce) super close by. Decent happy hour near the pool too.

The hotel is modern, with a pool for adults and a pool for children. It is in a quiet location with beautiful sea views. The room with balcony was modern with comfortable beds. The staff was very helpful. Excellent breakfast with a great choice of food for everyone. Free parking at the hotel or in the hotel garage is a plus.

Location is excellent - 10min or less to all amenities, restaurnts,, bars and beaches. Breakfst at hotel was lovely and staff suepr attentive and friendly Views are great from a specfic part of hotel/room Rooms are well done and modern - couldnt fault them Gym is well equipped and opens on to the 2nd pool (kids) Beach is wonderfully clean with plenty of restaurants/bars. I highly recommend Branquinho near Casa Da Rocha restaurant which is on top of the rocks from the beach. Choque Ao Mar - Restaurant isclose to hotel - lovel sunset views and food is OK.

It is right next to the seaside, and there is easy access to the beach. Our room had a literal sea view, and it has nice views for both sunrise and sunset. The room is clean and quite spacious, with air conditioning over hot weather. Did not use the pool facilities inside the hotel but it's a plus to have. Also did not use their breakfast and bar facilities but they look promising.

Fantastic location with amazing sea view, hotel was spotlessly clean, staff were so friendly. Pool area was so relaxing and peaceful. We will be definitely be back.

Adults pool was lovely for adult time, two other big pools plus a pool for little ones, with the only criticism more shade is needed there. Kids disco was well attended, but some of the evening entertainment was poor especially once the act had finished there was no atmosphere for any adults should they want a dance. Excepting dogs at the hotel, isn’t for us, especially being in the restaurants

We stayed 5 nights with our 2-year-old and had a great time! All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was very comfy and modern. There are lots of pools, and the baby pool with the castle and slides was amazing for our little one. The buffet had plenty of tasty food and the à la carte restaurants were excellent. Lots of fun activities for kids and families. We’d love to come back!

Very modern, stylish design property, rooms spotless clean very comfortable beds pillow, love the whole room design and lightings everything worked very well. Staff around the hotel worked really hard and were very polite . I like the way pool towels were given ( it was easy and accessible compare to other hotels ) Sport - tennis , padel football area and kids pool all very well maintained and easy to access ( on arrival don’t forget to book your tennis court in advance as it’s very busy ) Restaurants very nice and very good choice of salads and drinks , food and fresh quality food.

There was variety for breakfast but it was the same thing every day. There was plenty of fresh fruit. The staff was really great in all restaurants and bars. The pool area was great and there were plenty of sunbeds for those who got up early. There was also a nice kids pool that was less busy. The hotel has a private bridge and walkway to amazing beaches and restaurants. It takes about 10 mins. There is a train to the small town of Alvor.

The staff was very welcoming and attentive; the food was good and diverse; the rooms and facilities are well equipped and clean; enough pools for the amount of people + an adult-only pool; good WiFi connection; 5-10min walk to the beach or you can use the train (which drops you further away).

Nice enough hotel. Great spa with steam room, sauna, indoor pool, spraying jets, outdoor pool, playgrounds. Large sprawling property. Indoor garage 3 euros. A bit beaucratic where you need to go to spa office to get and return your pool towels but all in all a nice resort. Need to drive out to get to restaurants, groceries, etc but all close enough.

The hotel is in an amazing condition, always clean, always smells nice. Perfect for families with kids , as there’s a small area only for kids, further from the big pool, with trampoline, slides and other games. Perfect for those who like sports as there’s a gym and lots of green space to have a morning jog. The outside area is maintained in a high standard and there’s a spa, too. The pool is clean and it’s huge, so never feels overcrowded. The beach is only a couple of minutes walk.

This is an excellent hotel for a family holiday. We enjoyed a week lounging around by the huge pool, and always getting a lounger. The property is kept impressively clean in all areas and we liked the beach walk into town. We used the pool bar for lunch every day and the breakfast room was always clean and well-stocked, despite the large numbers of people.

For a studio room, it was very large with big kitchen & large veranda.

We stayed here for 4 nights. We had a 1 bedroom apartment which slept 3 easily. The apartment was well kitted out with everything we needed. Lovely living area and sofa along with huge balcony. Bedrooms comfortable, beds slightly firmer than we were used to but ok. Apartment was cleaned every other day. Towels provided. Free wifi by the pool. Excellent check in and out service. Pool lovely, free sun loungers and space for sunbathing. Very quiet. Close to Luz beach with cafes and restaurants. Nothing bad to say about this place, we loved it.

This is a perfect location for a visit to Praia da Luz, with the town and beach only 5 minutes walk away, but with the peace & quiet of an out of town resort. The rooms are spacious, a little dated, but with everything you could require for a short stay. We stayed in room overlooking the pool, with a nice terrace with ample furniture. There are ample pool beds, so not complaints at all.

Having stayed here before I knew what to expect, and I like everything about the Oasis. The reception staff are very helpful, and the apartments well equipped and kept very clean. The pool area is spacious, and the pool is a good size for swimming. The location is great as only a few minutes walk to the beach and all the cafes. Also Batista grocery a short walk away.

The breakfast buffet was amazing, the staff were delightful, the vistas were beautiful, the pool areas were large and easy to get a bed, nice activity options as well. It would take at least 45 minutes to walk to Lagos centre or a 7 minute car ride. I would say the carpets throughout need to be replaced as do the pool deck beds. Overall, a pleasant stay!

Beautiful location right at the beach. Stunning views from our suite. Lovely cool pool and very chic finishes. The staff are extremely friendly and the resort was very clean. There's a shuttle bus to take you to and from Lagos (queue early to get a seat!) Nice selection of food albeit only one restaurant for dinner but the restaurant and snack bar for lunch.

Outstanding property, great location with 180 degree sea views. Comfortable good size rooms, high quality linens. Modern, very clean, good facilities (pools fitness room etc). Food is excellent (quality, choice and plentiful) both for breakfast and dinner. Best staff we have ever encountered - from the cleaners to servers, to front desk and entertainment staff, they all went out of their way to communicate, be helpful and make sure they could do everything to make your stay the best possible. Beautiful small (20 bed) hotel, extremely peaceful setting. All rooms have sea views. Large room with massive bed, sofa area. Large terrace with sun loungers. Room spotlessly clean and very modern. Pleasant staff. Buffet breakfast. Uber into Lagos Town for some lovely restaurants and bars. If you're into golf, it's right on golf course. Recommend cocktails at the uber modern golf clubhouse, great views too. I haven't tried the outdoor salt water swimming pool, but it looks nice.

Beautiful property with amazing views. We received such a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Taking a golf buggy down to the beach was great fun and the beach itself was gorgeous. The breakfast was the perfect start to the day and especially after a swim in the pool or sea. We had a very relaxing stay.

This hotel was exceptional. The pool and hotel grounds were beautiful and well-kept. Our small kids loved the kiddie pool and the play structure. The food buffets were fantastic, good selection each day - lots of different cuisine to choose from. The all-inclusive drinks were also great, tasty and good selection! The activities and entertainment was also a lot of fun. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. My kids are still raving about it and we stayed there a month ago. This hotel was definitely the highlight of our two-week trip to Portugal!! 10/10 reccommend

Great hotel. Comfortable beds with big fluffy pillows and room was large. Big balcony too. Food good and the pool was the biggest I have ever seen, cold at first but okay once in. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the staff very helpful and accommodating. Free bus service to beach but it would have been nice to serve town too. 4 euros for cab into town but it is walkable too. Not bad. Would definitely be back.

The location was the best feature of this hotel. The view of the water and a short walk to the beach made this an ideal place for our vacation. The rooftop restaurant and pool were the next best feature! The view from the restaurant for the daily breakfast buffet was amazing! And the dinner was delicious and a great menu to select from. The pool area had a great view as well and the water was refreshing and clean.

We found this hotel to be first class in every way. The sea and beach views are fantastic, the pool area over looks the beach and there are steps leading down to give easy access to the beach. Excellent location right on the beach front. Plenty of things to do within the resort with beautiful surroundings. Perfect for relaxing or young families. We went with our 3 year old and had a great time. Mini golf, a gym, two outdoor pools, heated indoor pool and spa, kids club, beautiful garden areas.

Location is 5 minutes by taxi from Alvor centre or 20 minutes via the lovely boardwalk. Quiet location by the sea really adds to the property, slightly removed from the hustle and bustle. Simple hotel, does what it says on the tin and has a bit of everything - Breakfast great, gym simple but good, indoor pool with sauna, outdoor pool with plenty of deck chairs, small kids club also. Hotel was undergoing some routine maintenance as they prepare for summer and this was to be expected.

I loved the stunning views and the location, I loved that the hotel had an indoor pool, free crazy golf, and an outdoor play area, I thought the fact that towels for the pool for a few days were free and the safe in the room didnt require a deposit was also appreciated.

Breakfast is amazing. Lunch and Dinner also very nice. Room was very clean and great view. There is also a "almost private" beach with access from the pool area. Very friendly staff.

As we were at the hotel in Late September there was never a rush for tables or sunbeds. Room was super - on 15th floor with fabulous views over the beach and out to sea. Very comfortable indeed. Pool area was super - plenty of sunbeds etc. The bar in the evening was very nice and the entertainment was pretty good. Staff very helpul at all times - at reception, in restaurants and at the bars.

Room is nice, and comfortable, vleaning everyday. It's just the toilet flush keeps on getting stuck, but they actioned right away when reported. We have a lovely balcony with seaview. Kids enjoy the pool. 5 min walk to a beautiful beach. Staff are friendly, they also assist in booking activities and tours. Food is very delicious, different everyday and lots of choices. Also, we dont need to rush to wake up early in the morning to eat breakfast, there is still breakfast even after 10am. And gym is open 24 hours 😊 Very relaxing holiday, highly recommended and will definitely come back 👍

We were very satisfied with everything. We really liked the pleasant, relaxing atmosphere of the hotel. Nice surroundings, palm trees, the pool, super bars, clean and comfortable rooms, plenty of delicious food, nice and attentive waiters in the restaurant.

The hotel was very clean. Room was small but ideal. Lots of wardrobe space and spotless and serviced everyday. Pool area was nice and clean. Staff were very friendly. Lovely housekeeping team. The receptionist who checked us in was very nice & helpful. Also the man in the pool bar was very pleasant. Great that you could get a fresh pool towel each day with a small deposit at the start of the stay.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the town (5-10 mins) and a little further you have the beach (15-20 mins). The hotel was spotless, the staff welcoming and friendly. The room was great, with shutters so it keeps the sun out in the day to keep the room cool, and keeps it extra quiet at night, although there is little noise to begin with. There is A/C also. There was a kitchenette with fridge and a small hob. There is a pool with loungers and a pool bar. Breakfast has a good selection of continental and English breakfast choices. Lots of fruit!

A convenient location for walking into Alvor town. Plentiful breakfast, friendly and polite staff. Comfortable clean room. We had a balcony which we didn't really use as we hadn't appreciated that the road was so busy, but otherwise the room was excellent. We didn't use the pool as we walked down to the beach, but the pool looked great.

THIS HOTEL IS 5 MINS AWAY FROM THE CENTRAL AREA WHERE THERE ARE NUMEROUS BARS AND RESTAURANTS LOCATED DOWN A MYRIAD OF NARROW STREETS. THE HOTEL ROOM WAS EXCELLENT AND THE POOL AREA HAS PLENTY OF SUN BEDS AND A GREAT POOL SIDE BAR THAT SERVES LUNCHTIME SNACKS AS WELL AS BEERS AND COFFES ETC. The receptionist gave helpful advice regarding parking ahead of time so we knew exactly where we were going. The room had a nice sea view. The room looked very refreshed and modern. The amenities worked well, the room was very comfortable, clean and fresh.

The most amazing stay! The location was so perfect. walk outside the front door and you are in the center of everything. Close to everything you could need including the beach! We are two young girls and we felt super safe in this stay. The workers were so helpful and our room was cleaned and restocked every day. I would recommend to anyone and I would definitely stay here again!!!

Wow! Just WOW! After 10 days of exploring Porto and Lisbon on foot, our stay at Aqualuz Lagos was exactly what we needed. The convenient location is close to both the city centre and wonderful beaches, 2 great pools, friendly and kind staff, clean rooms with a pool view from the balcony and an amazing breakfast, everything exceeded our expectations. We had to leave early one morning and couldn't make it to breakfast and they were kind enough to pack us a lunchbox! We definitely recommend and if we ever came to Lagos again this hotel would be our choice for sure.

A stunning location at the sea with 2 gorgeous pools. Monica and her team at the pool restaurant are brilliant, the food was beautiful. The pool bar was great for icecream and lovely lunch. Had a meal at the Miss Pasta restaurant and it was delicious! The beach is beautiful. The 2 bedroomed apt was great! We had every thing we needed. It was cleaned and sheets changed during our stay and towels were changed twice.

Clean apartment on arrival however it's not cleaned very regularly throughout the stay, maybe twice weekly. Overall, pool view apartment was good, spacious. Complex is nice, good amenities for kids Staff at Pool bar wonderful, Lukas and Monica were very friendly and helpful

The courteous and helpful reception desk staff made my late midnight check in stress free. The pool area is lovely and my apartment studio was very spacious with comfortable bed and mini kitchen, great bathroom too with bidet. I also had a beautiful view at the front of the hotel. A really lovely and much recommended stay. I used the on site restaurant for dinner one evening lovely staff and the set 3 course meal with one glass of wine included 25 euros. The wifi works throughout the hotel and never dropped out from my studio throughout the whole complex.

Very helpful and professional staff, huge and very clean apartment (not the most modern rooms but you have everything you need), excellent selection of foods and drinks for diner, great pool and bar, easy parking, the reception is open non-stop which helped a lot since our flight was delayed, they even had sandwiches, fruits and water ready for us when we arrived just in case we were hungry (we missed dinner)

Very pleased with our stay in Tivoli Lagos. Good size room with pool view and balcony. Perfect location, 5min walk from main restaurant strip. 10min walk from the beach. We did not use the pool area as seemed a bit cramped and small pool, but is clearly seen in pictures and the beach so close made up for it. Very polite welcoming staff in both reception and bars. And we were also treated to unexpected drinks voucher for the bar in our room on my girlfriend's birthday. A really nice touch. Would definitely recommend Tivoli and we will return.

We had a superior room which was a nice clean room, with plenty of wardrobe space and a large bathroom in the main part of the hotel. The shuttle bus to the beach is free and runs every hour. There is a good variety of food at breakfast and everything is kept topped up but the quality of some items weren't great. The pool area is nice with pool towels provided, but small for a hotel of that size and it is quite difficult to get sunbeds. There is a no reserving beds policy but this does not seem to be policed. The drinks at the pool bar are very expensive unless it is happy hour.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel in Lagos, right in the center by the marina. Perfect location, fabulous room - we stayed in Room 107. 10/10 double balcony, brilliant facilities. Nice little touch if you don’t have your bedding changed daily you can exchange it for drinks vouchers. Cute little coach to the beach (free). Indoor pool & sauna facilities lovely touch. Outdoor pool and loungers perfect for everyone. Would stay again. Friendly staff and atmosphere.

We had a lovely deluxe family room, on 4th floor in main building, with view of pool, marina and sea. We were pleased with the room. Breakfast was all fine, plenty to choose from. Staff friendly and helpful. Only negatives are - There aren’t enough sunbeds, so we made use of free shuttle bus to other pool down by the sea. Sunbeds there were 15e each which included bottle of water, we brought towel from hotel each time. Food and drinks menus appeared to be same as at hotel.

The apartment was really nice and spacious, perfect for a family of four. We also enjoyed the facilities, the outdoor pool area and indoor pool and spa.

We stayed in the 3-bedroom appt with garden and pool - highly recommend it for a peaceful family vacation. Kids loved the swimming pool and the appt has all the necessary facilities and amenities to prepare meals if you want to. Im case you don’t, you can get food deliveries to the Resort anyway. Plenty of space and very clean, it’s definitely in our plans to go back!

It’s quite big, good internal heated pool and sauna, has private pools. If you have room view it’s also nice plus. Very good shower. Overall nice considering very affordable price . Reception is also very polite

It is a 10 minute drive to Lagos points of interest, grocery stores, gas, etc., so having a car is a must. Plenty of parking in front of condo For such a nice place, we were surprised that the TVs were small, not Smart TVs, and at the substandard gym at the clubhouse 0.8 miles away, which was small, only had 2 ellipticals, and 3 treadmills.

Another fabulous stay at Boa Vista, the accommodation is spacious and clean. Good WiFi signal and a selection of English channels on the TV. We didn't use the pool this time but SPA was clean. All staff are very friendly and accomodatin. We had ants in our house on arrival within 5 minutes of us telling them they came and sorted it and the ants never came back. Will be staying again soon. Thank you.

The apartment was fresh looking and clean. The balcony was great. Stayed in Mirachoro III so 30 second walk to the pool, however this was great as it was quieter than having a balcony near the pool and was more private. The staff were exceptional, extremely friendly and polite. Mostly downhill walk into town all with pavements/sidewalk so safe. 30 minute walk downhill to the marina area or 3.65 euros in a Bolt. Would say the location was ideal.

The room was quite large with all the things you need for a holiday stay. I loved the sea view from the balcony and the beach (once you know the route) is a 15 min walk, the beach itself is beautiful. There is a bus that operates twice a day to the beach and to the town centre. There is an Aldi / Lidl 15 mins walk away too. The pool is good and I always had a spot to top up my tan.

A very clean and well-maintained hotel with modern and comfortable furniture. Most of the essentials were available. The free parking right at the hotel was a big plus. Although we didn’t have time to use it, the pool looked nice, and there might have been a bar as well. The staff were friendly and helpful — when we noticed there weren’t enough towels, they promptly brought more upon request. Overall, excellent value for money and we had a very pleasant stay.

The room was perfect, the staff were helpful and friendly and there are a range of facilities, pool, gym, spa, but as we were there in the middle of December we could not make use of the pool! The breakfast was excellent as was lunch and dinner. The location is good with an easy walk to the Farol at Ponta de Piedade from the hotel and a harder one to Luz. Just a short drive into Lagos. The hotel has impressive and well-maintained gardens. We will be back!!

The location was great with the pool included and beach a 10 minute walk away. You couldn’t ask for better views. Very pretty property. The breakfast was decent and dinner was spectacular. We each had a massage at the spa there and were happy with it. My husband thought the beds could be more comfortable but otherwise the rooms were comfy, spacious, and clean. I think I read some previous negative comments about staff but everyone was very friendly and helpful.

This stay exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect for a quiet vacation. Only a ten minute walk to the beach and a 35 minute walk to downtown. The views were exceptional and the pool and grounds were a much needed reprieve after long travel days. But the best part was the staff they were so welcoming and I could not recommend the spa treatments enough. Thanks for the amazing stay 10/10!!!

Overall I had a great time in the Hotel. They have a good installation big bedrooms, nice title gym, good spa, nice swimming pool, very good restaurant and fantastic breakfast. The staff was all very friendly. The most amazing is the Hotel view to the beach. Stunning!

Gorgeous views, spacious room, the staff was helpful and nice. We enjoyed the breakfast as well as relaxing next to the pool.

Just a wonderful relaxed and enjoyable stay, best apartment we have ever stayed in - huge! Duplex apartment with view out to sea. Spotlessly clean. So peaceful. Lovely swimming pool to laze around, with a separate children’s pool for the little ones. Pool side restaurant with very friendly service, good food and great service - goats cheese salad is a delight! 5-10 min wonder into Luz and the beach. Very relaxed 10 days. If you want more buzzyness, it’s a 10 min drive to Lagos. Loved it, highly recommended.

Great relaxing stay, Luz is a quiet resort if that's what you're after. Some of the apartment was a little tired and worn and was in need of a refresh, apart from that we enjoyed our stay. Adult only pool was really warm most days where as the family pool was cold until the afternoon. On-site restaurant was great and staff ate fantastic towards children. Would definitely recommend but unlikely to return to Luz.

Apartment huge with everything you could need. Marks off only for a bit of a disappointing view from balconies. lovely pool area though kids pool busy even off season. Short stroll to town and very nice beach.

We were heading towards the Algarve from Lisbon and many friends warned us that the south is full of tourists! Wanting to explore Lagos and the beaches we decided to stay in Luz which is a cute more quiet resort with a nice beach and decent restaurants. The hotel was amazing! Very clean, spacious and well-kept with modern amenities like washer and dish washer. We were able to have breakfast or wine and snacks outside on the terrace overlooking the ocean, the view was beautiful, the apartment very airy and bright. Only small downside is the pool is small but I would definitely stay there again!

The apartment was amazing, with everything you would need for your stay, it was modern and clean and the beds were comfy, with no expense spared on all of the appliances. The complex was clean and the pool area had plenty of beds, the restaurant was nice with a friendly atmosphere,with the beach being a 15 min stroll away. Would definitely visit again and would definitely reccomend to friends

The pool area is nice and green with more than enough seating and loungers. Rooms are great, we had a pool facing balcony. The buffet breakfast is perfect, catering for all tastes, and the staff are friendly and helpful. An enjoyable and attractive place to stay.

Stayed here before & husband been numerous times with golf buddies. We love this hotel due to staff being super helpful & friendly. Only a 15 min walk into centre & we find the hotel itself very quiet & tranquil which is why we return. There are always sunbeds & it is peaceful to relax at pool. This year there is a lack of umbrellas at the pool & 2 of the cabanas have no sun shades. The room hairdryer is no good so bring your own but we are very happy with this hotel & will return. Special mention for Rebecca who has been super helpful. 😀

Our trip to Pestana South Beach was fantastic. It has immediate access to the boardwalk and beach. Most days were spent by one of the 3 pools and it never seemed too busy. We had no problems getting a sun lounger each day and the pools were clean and refreshing. The staff were kind and friendly always, made us feel right at home! We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Indoor pool is tiny- attached to spa and too expensive for casual use. Easy walking to large grocery store, transportation, beach and old town. So much to see and enjoy nearby. It is a beautiful coastal town with lots of hiking walking outings , accessible w public transit. Lovely weather in late fall.

The staff at the reception were very nice and welcoming. As an Expedia VIP access, I was able to get an access to the hotel SPA access. They have a gym, sauna and indoor pool. The hotel room is huge for just the two of us. Room facilities like microwave, kettle and can even cook with their induction cooker. They have a huge outdoor pool and for kids. There are a lot of restaurants and bars around the Marina. It’s a safe area and can reach the old town by foot. I highly recommend this hotel o family and friends, and I will stay in this property if given a chance to comeback.

Very efficient and informative check in. Marina Club Suites was a very clean and pleasing on the eye, bright and good feeling. Was pleasantly surprised with our room. Very clean, spacious, well equipped. The pool area was very nice, ample sun loungers. Nice terrace overlooking the pool. Very close to the marina. 15 minutes walk to Lagos old town. Would recommend to family and friends.

Room was ok, camp bed set for child not great. Bath area had no doors, not suitable if sharing with friends, lack of privacy. Patio furniture very uncomfortable, you couldn’t relax. Pool area amazing but not enough sun lounges. Biggest let down was food. Hot breakfast selection inedible, continental better. Lunch/dinner menu limited.

Very silent environment, parking garage for free and surprisingly always empty, comfortable bed, a working heating system (nothing that is normal in South Europe), okay gym, nice pool. I love the nature around! Breakfast is quite okay.
