The roof terrace and pool have exceptional views over the town and the nearby caves and hills. The hotel is close to everything. The parking was easy - some other hotels in the area are only accessible via steep narrow roads. The breakfast was exceptional. The room was large and clean.

Location, location, location! - The hotel cannot be better placed in the middle of the city of Goreme. The upper deck serves as a perfect place to watch the balloons in the morning too. Breakfast was amazing. The variety, freshness, and mix of flavours had us wanting more every morning. The pool was a lovely respite from the hot days, the views while in it just added to the allure of the hotel. The front of office staff were pleasant and helpful.

Perfect location. Pool was nice, fresh and cold, amazing for cooling off in the hot weather. The terrace was the best spot in the morning to watch the balloons at sunrise. Breakfast was superb

I picked this hotel because of the pool and it did not disappoint! Gorgeous pool with a nice temperature, perfect place to watch the sunset and meet people. The breakfast also was good and had a wide variety. The staff were friendly.

Location is superb. Very close to the main street. Terrace has great views. Nice small pool, may be the only hotel with terrace pool in Grome. Bathroom was very good size. Staff were excellent. Specially Rushtom. He helped us a lot.

Really nice atmosphere between the tourists. People come from all around the world and it’s really nice to chat around the pool. Cute little roof top pool. Amazing views. Very nice staff. I highly recommend waking up at 05 am to see all the hot air balloons in the sky from the roof top. It is magical!

If you only intend to watch the hot air balloons from the hotel's terrace, this is one of the best hotels for the view. It has a 360 degree view of Goreme without obstruction! The terrace is so unique with the pool as well. We particulary loved how accommodating and friendly the staff were. They respond quickly and can arrange anything that you need. The breakfast I think is just enough. It is not massive but it fills you up! I liked that our room has a fan as it got too hot during our visit. The location was perfect to go around Goreme. Very close to everything!

Several roof top patios with nice view of central Goreme and rock features. Beautiful spot for the early morning viewing of the balloons over the skyline of Goreme. A beautiful swimming pool complemented the rooftop patio. The swimming pool was very pleasant to use during the hot afternoon hours. If you do not like steps, this hotel may not be a suitable accommodation for you.

My friend and I stayed at Doors of Cappadocia for 3 nights and had a very lovely stay. The hotel is in a prime central location, but tucked away from all the noise. The staff was welcoming and helpful in arranging airport transfer service and a hot air balloon tour. We most enjoyed the gorgeous pool and sunrise / sunset views from the rooftop. The rooms were spacious and very clean.

DOC was within walking distance of downtown restaurants and tours. Very unique rooms. Feels like you are in a cave, although other hotels I think you actually are in a cave, this one was clearly fabricated. The views of the valley, mountains, and balloon launch, couldn't be better. Decent breakfast. Good rates. Good WiFi. It was cold because it was the end of their winter, but I would assume when it is nice out that their outdoor bar and pool area is a great place to be. I would recommend.

Great stay at Doors of Cappadocia! Everyone we interacted with was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and clean as well as the pool/lobby/dining areas. It was in a very convenient area located steps from downtown. Would highly recommend.

Amazing trip and experience, we loved this hotel, the staff were extreamly helpful, the pool was great and the location was excellent. 5 minute walk to the local town which had plenty of bars and restaurants. I would 100% stay here again.

There are no words to describe how happy I was with this hotel My room was out of this world. Carved into a cave and resorted to perfection I had the king room and it had a large living area that went into a large bedroom and then another big room which was the bathroom. A bath in the bedroom as a bonus Open fire place Spot lights to give it a cosy and romantic feel The hotel itself is breathtaking The swimming pool was a delight after a hot day sightseeing And the restaurant was fantastic too Seriously can't stop thinking about this place

The place is incredible, like an old castle, well renovated and very charming. The pool and solarium are pleasant, but the number of sun loungers is limited and the music is too loud. The hotel offers a good breakfast with a wide choice of local products.

The territory of the hotel is amazing, very beautiful. The pool is the big plus to refresh during hot days.

This had to be the coolest hotel I've ever stayed at! It is huge and there are so many different areas you can go and chill at. The pool is awesome, the gym was great, the breakfast was fantastic. The room was really cool as well, large area and a big bathroom with an enormous tub. The location was good and if you need to go anywhere the staff will help you with a taxi. Would recommend to anyone, would stay again!

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay at Taru Cave Suites. The hotel itself is amazing, but the hospitality we received was the highlight of our stay. The staff were kind and friendly throughout, and they made us feel right at home. I cannot say enough good things about the team. The room itself was very spacious and elegant, with artful decor choices. The bathroom was especially roomy, and had both a shower stall AND a bathtub. The beds were comfy and there was ample space to store our belongings. The common areas offer stunning views of the surrounding hills, and the hotel is an easy walk away from the town center where you'll find loads of cafes, restaurants, and shops. The breakfast was utterly delicious! Everything served was prepared with the freshest ingredients, and we were even offered made-to-order eggs. I would recommend booking tours through the hotel. Our hot air balloon ride was cancelled at the last moment, and they were able to process a refund promptly (2-3 days) back to our card, and they maintained open communication with us about this even after we had checked out. You can also trust their restaurant recommendations.

What is not there to like in this hotel :) it is unique, and very beautiful with spacious and artfully decorated spacious rooms and luxurious bathrooms. Very clean and well maintained. However the star feature - what elevates a great stay to an exceptional stay is the staff - all of whom are very helpful and nice but a special mention to the owner - Mehmet who takes the time to be around and check in on the guests and ensure everything is as expected. We were also very unlucky with balloon flight cancellations and Mehmet persisted to ensure that we got a seat on while we still had the chance (since we had blocked three days for this) and with Mehmet's help we still managed to get a seat on a memorable balloon ride :) ). The rooms/suites are all very different - so make sure you choose the one you want to match your expectations. Urgup town centre is like 1-2kms and a short taxi ride or walk away. This is a great, clean, and quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of the more well known Goreme. So if you want to stay away from crowds - choose Urgup and choose Taru Suites - you will not be disappointed. Additionally, it's one of the few hotels in the area that has an elevator and that's not an easy feature to find in cave hotels.

We chose this hotel as we wanted to have the experience of staying in an actual cave, but with all the facilities. It was the best choice. We had a late arrival, with a rental car which we left on a narrow street behind the hotel. The men welcoming us took care to move the car, gave us the keys and did the checkin extremely fast, while we were in the room. When traveling with a kid you do appreciate this a lot. The hotel has multiple rooms on different levels and they have an elevator which makes things much easier. I choose an Executive Suit, which comes with a large hammam bathroom. It proved to be exceptionally useful as we decided to have a hammam experience with their professional masseur, Ahmed. I can only say that he has magic hands, very nice and my 10 years old son loved the experience as much as we did. The breakfast is served on the rooftop restaurant with a splendid panorama of the town. They prepare eggs at your request, they have hot dishes and provide very tasty local salads, cheeses and products. Also, the Turkish coffee is a must. All the staff were more than helpful and friendly. It is worth every penny! They really made our stay exceptional.

Everything had been amazing !!! The hotel is a piece of art !! We felt as we were living into an old castle surrounded by mountains !! Everything was perfect … the team at reception, their availability, their help on everything and especially for book activities and taxis …. All was Perfect there from our welcome to the atmosphere of our familly room !!! The environment is great too … beautiful view from the top restaurant and city center if Ürgüp is just a 5min by walk …. Restaurants and coffee shops are all very close to the place … I will definitely plan to retrip there again and advice anybody to select Taru cave hotel just because it’s an amazing place with great and perfect service !!!

Everything, Wonderful, helpful and friendly staff, they even stopped to chat to us in the street when they were not at work. The owner was friendly and his attention to detail was second to none. The room was amazing, comfortable, immaculately clean sympathetically restored and to a very high standard. Original features were the cherry on top. The bathroom was beautiful, lots of lovely toiletries available, towels changed daily. We were given lots of information regarding the hotel, surroundings, the location, trips etc. The breakfast was exceptional as was the service. Excellent local restaurants with great service. This is the place to stay if you want a truly authentic taste of Cappadocia.

First of all I would like to thank each and every staff member of this place (both day& nights shifts)f or helping out with our luggage problem. Our bags didn't arrive with us and they're the ones who were constantly contacting Turkish airlines (for language reasons) till we retrieved them back. They're even the ones who got us the bags with their shuttle drivers, that was in 2 different airport trips without asking for any money in return. The hotel itself is perfect. It's a 10 minute walk to the city center, it's relatively new and well mentained, rooms are spacious and clean. Everyday rooms service is very good as well and they supply daily water bottles, along with coffee & tea. Breakfast was very tasty, a good variety of pastries, cold cuts, beef sausage, eggs (scrambled/omlette), olives, oats, croquettes/spring rolls, tea and cofee section as well as a fruit section. The guy at the breakfast is really nice and he would greet you in the morning with a smile, these guys do an amazing job with the breakfast. The hotel also has a great and affordable airport shuttle service, for 10€ per person which we used both on our way back from& to the hotel. The driver was on time in both times, the van is very clean with a good A/C The hotel has a terrace that has an amazing unblocked view of the air balloons in the morning so that was a huge plus as well. I really recommend this hotel to everyone and would definitely come again if I'm back in Cappadocia. Thanks again guys!

This place is amazing. Nice and helpful staff. Comfortable room/bed. The bathroom is roomy with a hot, strong shower. Location is quiet. It's not in the middle of everything but easily walkable. Our building only had 3 rooms on one floor so it was very quiet. There are terraces on each of the buildings for viewing the hot air balloons or just to relax. Breakfast area is comfortable. Breakfast had variety. I loved the cheeses and veggies & greens to make a salad. We were there during Christmas/New year's so it felt cozy with the lights & holiday decorations. Plenty of parking. Side note: We used the Royal Balloon company for our hot air balloon ride and they were fantastic.

The staff were very hospitable, attentive and professional. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. The view from the balcony was amazing. The breakfast was fresh and abundant. The free shuttle between the bus terminal and the hotel was very helpful because the road was under construction. I would love to stay there again if I go back to Goreme!

Nice location in a quiet area of Goreme within a walking distance to the city center. I can walk to both Goreme open air museum and a starting point of the love valley hiking route. Comfortable bed, spacious room, clean bathroom. There is also a rooftop where you can see the view and balloon. Excellent breakfast buffet with varieties of Turkish breakfast and some menu changed everyday (i.e. soup). I also directly booked the sunrise balloon with Royal Balloon at a special rate for the hotel customer and it turn out to be the most memorable day during my stay in Cappadocia !!

The hotel is wonderful, clean quite and equipped with everything, awesome view in the city center, close to everything, and the view is amazing. I'm very happy. The gentleman at reception is very polite and very helpful. He speaks English and helped me with everything. all stuff are nice and welcoming they helped in Exchange and excursions. And transportation to the airport. The breakfast is varied, fresh and very tasty. This hotel is the best hotel I have seen in Turkey. Istanbul, Izmir and Fethiye hotels. I stayed in Marmaris, Antalya, Bodrum and Trabzon, but this is the best .. Nouran Tawfik

It is a still brand new Hotel, opened about 6 months ago, staff very friendly and helpful, a very good breakfast, a spacious room with very good shower and bed (I had a room larger than standard). Plus a small but adequate swiming pool, excellent to refresh if needed. Besides, in the very early morning, about 6 a.m., you are able to get very good view from the swiming pool of the ballons rising over Goreme, worth seeing and flying.

Rooftop terrace for balloon watching was absolutely lovely and so was the pool. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional- both the lovely warm service and amazing food. Staff were friendly and helpful in organising tours and transport.

Perfect location, walking distance to everything. Quiet at night, we heard no noise from the street. Plenty of parking right outside. Pool and terrace is amazing, and the breakfast is super tasteful. Staff is always happy and polite. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious. Good value.

Breakfast was excellent. We were served at our table with a vast amount of Turkish breakfast items. We could choose how to take our eggs and cereal was available if we wanted it. Service was excellent and the breakfast room was on the roof with lovely surrounding views. The pool was fairly small but very usable. Our room was very comfortable with plenty of space. It had the quietest air con ever! No children under age 14. Good central location.

Matt was a fabulous welcoming host who tried very hard to make our stay lovely. Breakfast was fabulous and served by attentive staff. Clean spacious room. Pool clean with lounges around it but no shade umbrellas. Great location for a quieter area in Goreme, but still only 1-2 min walk into centre.

The service was amazing. The front desk manager, Cagatay was friendly,helpful and hospitable at first giving us a tour and saw that our bags were promptly delivered to our rooms. Oruq was very attentive to our daily Turkish breakfast and brought a special dish to our table. The food was abundant and delicious. An outdoor pool was beautiful. The indoor heated pool was under the hotel along beside the spa. Emine, spa manager gave me the best massage in my life. The rooftop terrace was a great location to view the hot air balloons, steps away from our room.

We had a deluxe room with a terrace, but all of the rooms have access to lots of sofas with outside space. I think you could book the cheapest room and still be happy. We loved it. Staff etc excellent. Location superb. Really enjoyed the plunge pool and the spa pool. Great place from our terrace to view the balloons.

Wonderful location just a block to the vibrant main street of Goreme bustling with restaurants and shops. The hotel is high up amidst the chimney and looking over the town. Great panoramic views from the rooftop. And a 10 mn walk to sunset point. The rooms are caves with outdoor seatings. This hotel has free access to a Turkish bath and indoor hot and cool pool underneath. It also has a small outdoor pool.

Lovely hotel and the experience of staying in a Cave room was amazing. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and have great amenities such as double shower and double sinks. Hotel itself is beautiful and the staff are friendly and really helpful. Good traditional breakfast and spa facilities are great with two pools, sauna, steam room, Turkish bath and massage options. Great location in Goreme and near to walk to restaurants on an evening although would recommend the on site restaurant as it is delicious. Overall a great stay in Goreme.

Staff members were really good and helpful. It’s a huge property.They showed around the places. Room was as shown in images. Clean and comfortable. Provided complimentary fruits and wine to room. They have tap free wine. Tasty and smooth. Spa facilities were good and clean. Swimming pool was clean and felt fresh water.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! The room was very nice, with an indoor pool. The view on the terrace was breathtaking! The staff were all helpful and accommodating. They also offer tours: hot air ballon, horseback riding, Red/Green tour etc. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and family members!

The Divan Cave House was an amazing place to experience Cappadocia! The hotel itself is located right in the hills amongst fairy chimneys and has an excellent view of the town, hot air balloons at sunrise, and Uchaisar castle over the back of the hill. A close walk to all the restaurants nestled in the hills and about a 10 minute walk to the center of town. Our room was large and had an amazing view and the bed was extremely comfortable. The room was stone, had AC, and was cool during the hot days. The stone bathroom and shower were great and perfect for relaxation after a long day. The staff is excellent - Kenan and Solange helped us coordinate every activity and were available for any question or request. They have gathered an amazing staff and everyone was extremely warm, helpful, efficient and kind. I would absolutely recommend having them book you a small hot air balloon tour as well as any other activities (or even just airport transfers / restaurant recommendations). Breakfast is held every morning from 8-10:30 AM and is delicious. The breakfast staff are very fast and so friendly and kind, especially in the morning if you are jet lagged! The Turkish breakfast has so many options and it was delicious. In addition, the views off the breakfast balcony are hard to beat due to the excellent location of the hotel.

It was our first time visiting Cappadocia and we were looking for a luxury cave room experience with an authentic Turkish rooftop terrace. The customer service at the hotel was exceptional - very friendly, attentive and accommodating. Even when we had checked out, they still displayed the same faultless level of service. We had requested to move to a quieter room and the hotel provided us with an upgrade. They were also very helpful in arranging airport transfers and Ferhad assisted us with our luggage to our room and throughout the hotel. He made us feel very welcome. The breakfast terrace (separate from the rooftop terrace) had a beautiful view and offered a great selection of traditional Turkish breakfast, overlooking the beautiful Göreme. The hotel itself is located at the most elevated part of the town and their rooftop terrace is spread over three floors - it offers the most amazing view of the hot air balloons at sunrise and is spacious enough for guests to take pictures without feeling crammed. They also offered free Turkish tea throughout our stay!

This hotel is special in several ways. It is located at the highest point in Gorëme, and if you go to the huge terrace bar above, you will not regret. On top of the terrace bar, there is a second, smaller terrace, and there, you are at the top of Gorëme, with a magnificent 360 degrees view, where I made a very nice video. The staff is really friendly. They have their own local travel arrangements, and we could book a balloon flight and a Dervish ceremony. Eliz or Kenan are helpful to inform you about the details and arrangements. They will ask you to pay the trips in cash, to avoid credit card commissions to you (you can, of course, pay with card). Therefore, consider bringing cash if you book trips with them. Surely you can withdraw locally, but all ATMs in Turkey charge you high commissions. The place is very cosy, and the access to some rooms may be funny, via outside stairs. The breakfast room also has a sunny terrace with nice views. The room was spacious and the decoration was vintage.

Cozy, comfortable, and clean room that reflects the city heritage. Terrace views were amazing for watching the hot balloons at the sunrise time. The breakfast buffet was delicious with deferent daily desserts. The staff were very professional and friendly, they try their best to make things happen. Thanks to Mr. Abdulah and Mr. Kemal, and all the lovely staff of the guys and girls that I did not get a chance to know their names.

Location - away from busy tourist areas Quiet - so peaceful and not busy Restaurant is amazing! Rooms are huge. Staff are so helpful and friendly. Pool, spa and gym facilities are perfect. It’s a huge complex and a nice walk to explore every area. Very Muslim friendly - no alcohol on site. Mosque on site and Adhan plays 5 times a day. Very flexible staff who will do their best to help you. They packed us a breakfast because we had to check out early!

This luxurious hotel in the Cappadocia area is just a 10-minute drive from Ürgüp town. During your stay, you can enjoy the spa and swimming pool for a truly relaxing experience. The lobby is elegantly designed, featuring intricate marble and wooden artwork, and the courtyard nestled in the two wings of the building is a perfect spot to enjoy tea with friends—we absolutely loved it. Breakfast is served in a separate building and offers an extensive selection of international & Turkish dishes, with the mixed omelet being particularly delicious.

This is the best hotel in Cappadocia. Ajwa Hotel in Ürgüp combines beautiful grounds with outstanding amenities, including a private zoo, horseback riding, go-karts, a café with exotic coffees and desserts, a coffee museum, pottery lessons, a children’s playground, a gym, pool, hammam, and even traditional Turkish yurts for a unique stay. Its location is ideal, close to all the major attractions, making it easy to explore the region. The staff are exceptionally welcoming and professional. Head Chef Ramil stood out for his hospitality, giving us a tour on arrival and assisting throughout our stay with special requests, from arranging go-karts to coordinating egg collection at the chicken coop for our children. The kids loved gathering eggs, tomatoes, and berries from the hotel’s mini farm, which were then prepared for their breakfast, a truly special memory. Breakfast itself is delicious, varied, and included. There is no downside. I will always stay here when visiting Cappadocia.

We had a lovely stay here at Hira Cave Hotel. This hotel is absolutely amazing, the view is insane and I’d say one of the best in Cappadocia, you get a full 360 panoramic view where you can choose from three different rooftop terraces. The hotel was so beautiful aswell with traditional decorations and a really cool and unique layout. The staff was so friendly and helpful from the moment we got in the door. They had good recommendations and always happy to assist us. They also had awesome tours which we booked in. We did both the red and green tour which were both great and went to spectacular locations and they were full of information about the land and culture and history. The room was so cool, we stayed in a cave!!! it was very traditional and clean and well kept with comfortable beds and good air conditioning. I loved all the little details in the room and was so cute there was little snacks provided each day. Also the location was great and close to many restaurants and attractions. We will definitely stay here again. The breakfast was also splendid, very traditional and very generous with fresh and flavourful ingredients. The view from breakfast was also incredible. We enjoyed our stay so very much, thank you :)

From the moment I arrived at Hira Cave Hotel, I was overwhelmed by the warmth and generosity of the owner and staff. They go above and beyond — even by the already high standards of Turkish hospitality. I was constantly offered tea, coffee, and thoughtful little snacks, whether I was relaxing in the lobby or enjoying the stunning terrace views. One morning, after getting up early for the hot air balloons and falling back asleep, I missed the official breakfast — and they still made me a plate of mini pancakes, just out of kindness. When I needed to rearrange my travel plans, they helped me rebook my bus ticket from the closer town center so I wouldn’t need to take a taxi to the bigger station — something they didn’t have to do, but offered without hesitation. The hotel itself is beautiful, an easy walk from the center of Göreme, and the views from the terrace — hot air balloons at sunrise, village lights and music at night — are pure magic. My cave room was cozy, authentic, and absolutely charming. I truly loved my stay here, but more than anything, I’m leaving with gratitude for the people who made it so special.

Mehmet and his team went above and beyond for my friend and I. They were always ready to assist with any questions we had and were so hospitable towards us and other hotel guests. The roof terrace offers the most amazing views of Goreme and if you are up at sunrise, you get an amazing view of the hot air balloons! We were even given a free room upgrade and the buffet breakfast every morning was exceptional! Hands down one of the best stays I have had! And I hope to return in the not too distant future :) highly recommend Hire Cave Hotel to anyone visiting Cappadocia! Everything was perfect! The room was super beautiful and comfortable, with a perfect location in the heart of Göreme. It’s a trully magical place.
