Absolutely beautiful hotel with amazing amenities. Spent hours relaxing by our private infinity pool and enjoying amazing food from the hotel. The included breakfast was exceptional, a great and delicious buffet spread with a la carte additions. Cant wait to return!

Everything about the resort was amazing, stunning location perched on the edge of the cliff's. The suites are fantastic, great design and the view from the infinity pool is spectacular. The resort has a laid back luxury feel, great facilities and a fantastic restaurant and bar area. The staff were amazing, friendly, professional and helpful. We couldn't have asked for a more chilled out luxury break.

The b&b is located in the road to Elafonisi beach, in a quiet village. Our apartment was small but comfy, with possibility to use the patio with a private table, and direct access to the pool. Grigory and his wife were very welcoming and helpful giving suggestions and directions. They welcomed us with raki and cake the first day, and his wife gifted us different homemade cakes the following days, even if we didn't choose to have breakfast.

A delightful stay in a beautiful valley. A very welcome cold plunge pool/jacuzzi at the end of the day was a pleasant surprise. Eleni and her family were welcoming and served us the most delicious breakfast with enough for a packed lunch.

This apartment had plenty of space, the bed was comfortable and there was a huge downstairs area. The salt water pool out the back looked great (I didn't get a chance to use it) and it was really close to the beach and to local villages and Tavernas. Gregory was really welcoming and helped me with some extra pillows.

Booked 2 units for just 1 night. Amazing hosts and we had rhe entire place to ourselves. Too cold and windy to use the pool but that was expected this time of year. Hosts treated us with a dessert on arrival. Was a perfect spot to stay to visit Elafonisi. Wish we had stayed longer

This place is phenomenal. A tiny, beautiful village hidden in the mountains. And in the village a real pearl: this apartment! Wonderful, beautifully decorated, giving respite from the heat. Beautiful pool and fantastic, charming owners. Thank you for everything, it was an amazing experience.

This was my second time at Amira resort. I came back because I had a very good experience. If you’re looking for a quiet relaxing place - this is it. The resort design very well, the infinity pool is pamper and clean. The location is good with an excess to the private beach, The staff are very nice and helpful, food is great too. Every aspect of our stay was "luxury". The team was eager to make us confortable: since the check-in that was made sitting at the sofa with a drink. We really enjoyed the indoor pool, and the jacuzzi in our balcony (it was too cold to use the outdoor pools or the wonderful beach). In the room we found plenty of sockets to charge our phones, including USB output. There was a hdmi input near the bed, so you can bring your streamer.

- The hotel facilities are very good - pools, beach, etc. Everything is beautiful and you can see they really take good care of everything. - The food in the buffet restaurant was good, with a lot of options for breakfast and dinner. - Our room (with jacuzzi) was also nice - very clean, nice decoration, and comfortable beds. - The beach is pretty and, on lucky days, the water is super clean and calm.

The hotel was only a shot walk to the old town and has a pretty awesome rooftop infinity pool and bar. The hotel staff were absolutely excellent and made you feel right at home, and the sea-view room was modern and quite impressive.

The interior design of the hotel is really modern and stylish. I personally loved it! The room had a big shower, closet and the bed is super comfortable. On the rooftop, there's a large infinity pool with the most amazing view on the sea and Chania. The staff is also very friendly and they make very good cocktails. We also liked our big balcony with space to dry some clothes. It was really the perfect hotel for a stay in Chania, as it's also located right next to the town with many nice restaurants.

The location was excellent, 5-10min walk to Old Port. Room was clean and everything looked fresh and beautiful. Staff was friendly and offered nice alcohol free welcoming drinks immediately at the reception. Breakfast was also good. Infinity pool and the views there were awesome. Also GREAT sea views from room 301.

Very comfortable and well appointed rooms with a balcony and Seaview. Rooftop infinity pool with 360 degree views was fantastic. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets seen everyday. The hotel is in a fabulous location and a few minutes walk to the Old Town and local beach. Front office and back of house staff were outstanding especially the front of hose staff: Anna-Marie, Renata, Spyros & Zoe. Great recommendations and very quick communicating and assisting in our holiday planning. Beds were comfortable, a very nice breakfast with variety. I highly recommend SanSal and would definetly return.

There is nothing to ‘not like’ about this beautiful, exceedingly well situated, clean and awesome hotel. The staff are incredible. The rooftop infinity pool and bar are so comfortable. The staff go out of their way to treat you with kindness, compassion, excellence and competency. The balcony view was exquisite. The hotel staff are ever- present and greet each question with a smile and a solution. We have been in many hotels throughout Europe. This ranks at the top of that list.

Fantastic hotel in excellent location with stunning restaurant. Room was really nice with very comfortable bed. Separate toilet, shower and basin in bathroom was a nice touch. We had our own plunge pool, but unfortunately water was too cold to swim in. There’s a beautiful pool area next to the restaurant, with lots of loungers and stunning views over the bay. Breakfast was good, but some quirky things - see what we didn’t like. There’s lots of parking space and the hotel is close to a sandy beach and the main street of Almyrida. Staff are absolutely top notch - friendly and professional.

Probably the most beautiful view in almyrida. Combined with the warm welcome and kindness of the staff, it becomes a place you never want to leave, where we didn't feel the pressure of mass tourism as in other places. The private pool with view on the sea makes the experience even more incredible. Beautiful breakfast and restaurant. You can eat and order drinks nearly all day at the pool.

Lovely place and fantastic views, the hotel was very clean and modern and the pool is fantastic. The staff made our holiday especially George at the pool restaurant.

We had an amazing experience at the Seaside resort. Great food, drinks, entertainment, the views are stunning and we had a blast in the swimming pool areas. We were very lucky to get an upgrade to a room with private pool. Overall, the staff was super friendly and polite, what makes a great difference in such experiences. Dimitris (the staff who serves drinks by the pool) could be a little more friendly, we think. Still, we would highly recommend this place

The hotel is beautiful and everywhere smells amazing. The views are amazing and our room (which was upgraded to Sea View with sharing pool) had an incredible view and lovely pool with sunbeds. The all inclusive food was plentiful and had so much variety including desserts. Everything was replenished frequently and the staff were attentive and helpful. We were also able to have dinner in each of the a la carte restaurants and enjoyed every meal. Favourite was Umi. Everyone we dealt with was extremely friendly and helpful.

This hotel is amazing! There are no words to describe how good this place is. The staff members are amazing, always friendly and willing to help you with anything you require, specially Glykeria who helped us with booking some activities around the area and was always checking that we had anything that we needed. My wife and I stayed in a room with a semi private swimming pool with view to the ocean, I absolutely recommend it if you want to have a quiet time enjoying the pool and the amazing view from the hotel. I will definitely stay here again when back to Greece.

What a fabulous place. The location and views are stunning. We have been here prior to Covid, but some excellent refurbishments this year, including smart modern rooms, a whole upgraded pool area and very comfy sunbeds. The food is excellent fresh and varied, a choice for everyone . The new UMI restaurant is a lovely addition.The staff could not be better, special mentions have to go to Andreas (Manager) the beautiful Alexandra (Guest relations), Poppy & Demitri (Thalassa pool) and Yiannis, Mara, Eleni, Stella & Eleutheria (Restaurants). Nothing is too much trouble for them.

Food was fantastic. Views were stunning. Staff were the most friendly and helpful we have ever encountered. Plenty of sunbeds and lovely little beach within walking distance down from the pool bar. A week stay included a visit to the Al a Carte restaurants which were brilliant too. Cappuccino at the pool bars was brilliant. A great holiday.

Overall the trip was awesome, nice service, food and entertainment. The only problem was that we ordered a room with a shared pool and the pictures on the site don't represent all the shared pool rooms. We got a room with a sea view balcony but the pool wasn't sea view and wasn't so nice as the one shown on the site. Only after we talked with the reception they helped us and moved us the next day to the room we wanted. I recommend to send them e-mail when ordering the room to ensure you get the one shown here in the photos.

enjoyed the week away in the hotel. stayed in a shared pool room which was great as got to avoid the fight for sun loungers by the pool. Food was good with best meals being served in the other restaurants provided. Beach is small and will be busy in high season. Great bay for snorkeling and learning to dive.

All inclusive resort. Very friendly. We did the exclusive premier room with private pool - better if you prefer personal time - not crowded "public" pool.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful island! It is s hotel for everyone with a great spirit. The facilities are fabulous with a sharing pool for our room and a family pool and for everyone to enjoy with planned entertainment for all along with lunches music and loungers. The Animation Chief was brilliant with the customers. The reception staff going all out to ensure everyone was happy. The managers taking personal interest in everyone. What a fabulous set-up. I loved the adult pool area, there were always a variety of loungers available and the drink/coffee bar had a good selection. The food at the buffet was tasty and had a good variety. We had a great time at this lovely hotel. It's in a nice, quiet area, but still close to some small resorts with shops and beach bars. Chania is easily accessible by a €15 taxi ride or a €2 bus journey. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good, and we had a blast at the Greek night with music, dancing, and delicious food. The hotel, gardens, and pool are all clean and well-maintained, and the infinity pool is just stunning.

Good pool bar and restaurant open all day with fine menu. We had a lot of meals "in house". Most of all the staff helped us with every problem or wish.

Fantastic facilities including a library, office, pool table, amazing swimming pool and bar. Very welcoming friendly staff always ready to help. Breakfast was extensive and very filling. Great location just out of Chania, with some great local restaurants and cafes, superb views over the city.

It was like a B&B experience where the hosts were very helpful in guiding us to maximize our experience in the area each day, be it dining, beaches or touring. The breakfast was fantastic. The pool was beautiful. The sunset views were spectacular. I also liked the pool table.

It was possible to swim in the sea as well by accessing a patio area located across the road. It was close to town for shopping and dining options. Breakfast was amazing. I would highly recommend!

Breakfast buffet was wonderful, pool areas were beautiful, the service was spectacular and the rooms were comfy and well-appointed. The view from the pool area was amazing and we loved the location close to the Agios Nikolaus lake and wonderful restaurants.

The hotel was a very nicely maintained older property. There was a pool area, restaurant, bar and beach area with sun beds on the property so it was truly beachfront. Our room was nice and comfortable , although again older furnishings, but very nicely maintained. We had a balcony with a fabulous ocean view. There were many choices for evening dining, snacks, ice cream, etc just a few meters walk from the hotel. I found the location to be ideal. It is about 2km walk to the old port area which is very touristy. So we were glad to be beachfront away from that busy area.

Amazing sea view, extremely clean, perfect location with plenty of good restaurants nearby and a lovely walk by the shore to the old town. The room had a mini kitchenette with a fridge, stove top, coffee maker, toaster and kettle and dishes for 3 so you could make your own breakfast and some snack. They also provided some coffee and tea. The beds were firm and we slept very well. They also have a pool, which is not so common with Chania hotels. This was our second time here and will definately come back.

Lovely big apartment. Good kitchen area. Tv in both areas. Right on the beach. Cleaned every day. Medium sized pool with only a small number of sun beds (10) but about 10 other comfortable seats...plenty on beach. The beach is very long, sandy and sea is shallow so safe for little ones. Big snack bar with plenty of tables. All staff polite and friendly. Lots of restaurants 3 mins away. You could just stay right there. 15 min walk to chania town centre with lots more restaurants and harbour. Lovely place to stay.

I absolutely loved this place !! Stayed there for 2 nights at the end of my trip in Crete and everything was exceptional. The staff was so kind and the place and location were beautiful. Rooms have both air con and a fan which is welcome in the heat, the usual iron/hairdryer etc and a great shower. The main pool area is really nice, 5 pools clustered together of varying sizes. There was never a trouble for sunbeds no matter when turning up to the pool which adds to the relaxed atmosphere. There was also a nice outside gym area, not a ton of equipment but enough for a holiday.

I wanted a place with a hot pool, got there and plunge pool was cold - they have no heating for it. Staff were very kind and helpful and transferred me to room with private jacuzzi which was great.😎 Big property and great swimming pool. They have a group exercise training session with an instructor in the outdoor gym every day which is cool. Very relaxing place, with amazing views.

The cleanliness.of the whole resort was exceptional. The staff were all very helpful and attentive. Special mention to Marius and Gabriella. The pool area was fantastic. 3 different sized pools which lit up spectacularly at night. Great pool bar which was open until 11pm. Nothing was ever too much trouble.

We enjoyed our stay at this resort. The location is quite remote but this didn’t bother us as we had a rental car to get around. We stayed in a room with a private pool but there was also a lot of options for swimming with a number of pools and a beach area to choose from. We tried a few of the restaurants and the food was delicious. We also ate in the tavernas in the local village a short drive away and loved the authentic atmosphere here. The staff were the standout here, all very happy, friendly and helpful.

Quite simply, our holiday here was phenomenal. Room was great, every day there were little extras. Buffet restaurant was amongst the best we have ever sampled. Communal pools where relaxing and spacious, villa pools were secluded and private. Staff were immense, without exception.

Very good breakfast. Facility is excellent. Beautiful sea water pools, private beach. Some rooms with private pools. Very clean very comfortable.

On arrival met by friendly staff eventhough it was about 1 am, offered a complmentary drink and helped with our luggage to the room. Large clean room over looking pool. Room is cleaned daily and fresh towels and bedding regularly. Close to all eating places, supermarket , bus stop , taxi rank and beach. Has 4 swimming pools (2 of these are for children) A relative came to join us later on at the hotel and had booked into a suite ... wow , this was a great space perfect for a small family. We've just come back from one week holiday in Mary Hotel. Our apartment was clean, comfortable, modern, we had a small kitchenette with everything you need it. There are 2 swimming pools and a bar. Staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. Perfect location close to the beach, shops and restaurants. It was a pleasure to stay there, we felt like at home. If I come back to Crete I will stay there again. Highly recommended 👌

Clean bright well-fitted room with a very comfortable bed and air conditioning - useful to cut any humidity. Nice pools. Welcoming staff, gym facilities exist and are decent but WiFi isn't reliable in gym! Overall this is a great place to stay. We found we didn't need the breakfast and preferred to use the fridge and coffee maker in room for the week and it was a nice way to begin the day. We did think it was a hidden gem property as others have advised, especially as we spent evenings in the hotel after beach days away and we're able to flip netflix to the TV easily for a night in.

Archanes is a small authentic village and the surrounding landscape perfect for hiking. The peacefull pool perfect for relaxing and cooling down afterwards.

We had a late check in and the receptionist waited for us to arrive. We got a lovely welcome and she showed us to our apartments. Fresh Towels were provided for beach, pool every day. Sunloungers on beach were free and the Ammos Suites had an area on the beach available to us.

Loved everything, the beautiful spacious suite and the sea view ( we were upgraded), the very friendly and helpful staff, the breakfast, the private access to the beach and the hotel pool, it was just perfect, I highly recommend a stay at Ammos Suites.

I loved the breakfast on the restaurant terrace with beach view, the small but quiet outdoor pool in the patio, and the central location on the beach (about 1 km distance to old city)

I don’t even want to give a high review for the AVRA because I’m afraid too many people will find out how great it is and we won’t be able to get back in! Rooms were great, ours had a private plunge pool. The main pools are amazing with swim up bars and lots of places to lie in the water. Food was great with lots of options. Walk right onto the beach where there is their own little beach bar with pool. Great for families and couples looking to relax. Village is a little sleepy so no real nightlife after dinner.

The weather in September in Crete is just right. I stayed at the hotel for 4 days and the weather was in the 80's.. warm and comfortable but not sweaty weather like in August. The hotel was packed. Nice hotel for young couples with small children. Many pools. We got the room with a private pool, it was nice but you really don't need it because there are pools all over the hotel. We loved the hotel and will visit again next year. There is staff everywhere, they speak all languages, very polite and always there to help you, morning buffets as well as lunch and dinner are amazing.

The whole experience was amazing. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is friendly and efficient, the bedroom is spacious and comfortable. The swimming pool is so good, with a bar service inside so you can have drinks by the pool. The buffet has a lot of options, for all tastes, and it is delicious. We really enjoyed the stay and would definitely come back.

The hotel is beautiful, clean and located close to Chania, Samaria gorge and Balos beach. Rooms are spotless, pool area and pool itself great. Food was very good and plenty of choice, the only thing I would add in restaurant was the description of the dishes i.e if it's suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Beach was pleasant but the area leading to the beach needs working on maybe plant trees, plants etc. so it looks more appealing. All in all my stay was very pleasant.

Absolutely divine holiday; the hotel is very well thought through - you have all amenities in the room, by the pool or even by the seaside. Five restaurants, each one with a view, good food selection, huge swimming pool, excellent design; private beach and seaside restaurant deserve a separate thank you ! Sunset dinner in the Avra seaside is a must!

Absolutely fabulous place to stay. We had a lovely suite tucked around the back, so was very tranquil. Stunning infinity pool. The hotel is up a steep hill but this means the view is fabulous. The traditional village of Koutoulafari is only 5 or so minutes walk down the hill- laden with traditional tavernas, souvenir shops, a mini golf, car hire places as well as cocktail bars etc. We chose half board which was served at The Blue Moon Restaurant attached to the hotel. The food was amazing.. fresh produce, local meats etc. The waitress Lavinia is the star of the restaurant.

Very nicely presented boutique hotel with easy walking access to the village. Wonderful views over the sea from balcony of room, restaurant and infinity pool. Nice decor touches add to the atmosphere. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast however times not very flexible for those who want to explore the island as not served before 9am. We traveled across to the gorge to hike it one morning with a 3.5 hour drive breakfast at 9am not option.

I couldn't have been happier with our trip to Creta Blue, George and his team were delightful and so helpful from the minute we arrived. The view was simply stunning across the sea and infinity pool, making our holiday so relaxing. If you want a more traditional, family run hotel this is the one for you!

I'm always a bit nervous about picking a hotel that I've never been to be before; is it going to be nice? Is it going to look like it does on the website? Or am I going to be totally fooled into spending a lot of money on a horrible place where we're are then stuck for a week. In short, Creta Blue boutique hotel was amazing. The location is stunning with the infinity pool looking right out to sea and the restaurant overlooking the hill below. The staff simply couldn't do enough for you and were always so friendly! Food was incredible, in our opinion, the best meal we had in the village was at the hotel- good wholesome home cooked food! The atmosphere for the most part was chilled and relaxing. We booked one of the cheaper rooms (we were on a budget!) but it still had a king size bed, free tea and coffee in the mini kitchen, air con and fresh towels daily. All in all, a great holiday and we will definitely be back!

If you plan to stay by the pool and surrounding area, a car is not necessary. If you plan to go into town or the local beach or travel anywhere on this incredibly beautiful island, renting a car is a must. A taxi from the airport was 45 euros each way, cost to rent a car was 150 ever Uris for four days. We m emotion this because we did not read a review that suggested renting a car. The hotel is quiet, clean and the staff are pleasant and accommodating. Our room was clean, cool and comfortable. The pool was a little murky for some reason, which was surprising because it looked clean.

Hotel is lovely and the staff are all really friendly and helpful. The pool area is beautiful and such a peaceful spot given the hotel sits on a busy Rd. The rooms are spacious and our room had a large balcony with a great view of the pool area. Breakfast was fab with a wide range of foods to tempt everyone and the cooking station were helpful in preparing freshly cooked allergin free omelettes for my husband which was a great help.

We liked everything: the location of the property was ideal, our suite with a private swimming pool was very comfortable, the view from the pool was amazing, the people working in the resort (reception, restaurant, cleaning lady, the owners) very friendly and helpful, breakfast high quality. We met some guests coming back in this resort for more than 20 years. We plan to return as well.

Beautiful pool area, trees provided nice shaded areas around the pool so you could choose between sun and shade. Staff were lovely, so helpful and very professional. Very clean hotel.

Nice little family managed hotell. Very proffissional and very friendly staff. Everybody just made us feel welcomed, and not in an artificial way. The beach is really nice, not overcrowded. Not filled with thousands of tourists that reserve the seats with the twols before sunrise only to use them for half an hour (i hope people start to realize how stupid that is). And the pool is always cleen. The pool bar is really nice. It was a really good experience and a fresh change aways from the huge fancy hotels that may look better from the outside, but not as tidy.

We enjoyed sitting at breakfast and dinners looking at the Mediterranean sea. We witnessed beautiful sunsets while enjoying excellent dinners. We stayed for three nights. I like the view from our balcony and the staff were all super nice and welcoming. Breakfast was also great. It was super comfortable to sit at the balcony at night. I didn’t use the pool but it was well maintained and I saw people enjoying the pool there. They also offered us private shower after checkout time, which was helpful for us since our flights was late in the evening.

The reception in the middle of the night was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing, the beds in the room are gorgeous, the garden with the pools is very cozy and beautiful. A few minutes walk to the beach, but it looks mediocre. You tend to stay in the beautiful hotel garden with the pools and the bar.

We were given a free upgrade which was so nice of the staff. We were also allowed to use the adult only pools at another hotel. Which was lovely - it was nice to be able to enjoy the pool without any kids screaming and jumping. The staff were lovely, professional and very helpful. They went out of their may to make sure we had the best stay possible

Amazing, lovely staff who were so kind and looked after us all week - we enjoyed lots of the restaurants around the hotel, but the hotel's own bar and restaurant were the best for both dinner and breakfast! Very convenient placement being right next to the beach and a nice resort area outside of hereklion, but hereklion itself felt mildly unsafe and had lots of issues with restaurants in the city centre - could not fault the hotel themselves for anything! Hotel location was great as you're close to everything on the strip but far enough not to be bothered by noises from the nightclubs and bars right on the strip. I recommend this hotel to anyone. Great value for money in every way!

Breakfast is buffet, it is very simple but enough to start your day. Swimming pool was very clean. Staff is very friendly and ready to help you. The hotel is situated in a quite location. Parking is for free, right in front of the hotel. The nearest beach is like 7-10 minutes driving. Big supermarket is about 1.8 km away. If you have a car, everything is perfect. There is a bar at the swimming pool. Great value for money. I recommend this place.

Everything was perfect! The breakfast was wonderful! A fresh variety of toast, cereal, eggs yogurt, and cake, along with coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. The pool was very clean and ideal for young kids as well as adults, and my children loved it! My room was absolutely stunning, it was very spacious, cleaned every day with towels and toiletries changed. All the staff were very polite and welcoming, to be honest, I don't understand why this hotel was only rated a 2-star, it has a 5* star rating from me! Fantastic place to stay!

Very good accommodation near Chania, the room is clean, and beds are confortable. The pool is clean and water is hot. Very good breakfast with fresh orznge juices, vegetables, Nutella, bread Greek yogurt, honey, everything you need! They gave us all the instructions for a self check in because we arrived late. Staff is perfect.

Beautiful hotel. The design and decoration of the hotel is lovely. The pools are also very nice with a nice layout. The staff are all exceptional and can’t do enough for you. We used the spa which was also very nice and relaxing. The selection of drinks included in the all inclusive was good.

We stayed at the Stella Blue Resort for 6 days and it was a great pleasure. Quiet spaces, diverse pools. Everything was new and stunning. Excellent and pleasant atmosphere throughout the resort. Varied music and singers every evening. Highly recommended for couples. The legendary manager George, thanks to him we had a positive experience and we will return only thanks to him. There is no one like George, who took care of everything that was needed with kindness and professionalism. A wonderful person. The pictures are accurate for the price and even more. An absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home—especially Maria at check-in, who made the whole process quick and pleasant. The resort itself is stunning, with amazing well-kept pools, including swim-out options that add a real touch of luxury. The atmosphere is relaxing and beautifully maintained, perfect for a seaside escape. We especially enjoyed the all-inclusive drinks at the bars—plenty of variety and great service all around. The meals were delicious, inspired by local Greek cuisine, offering a nice blend of traditional flavors and fresh ingredients. There’s so much more to love about this place: friendly vibes, great amenities, and a perfect setting by the sea. Highly recommend it for both couples and families.

All staff including the management were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was very good. The selection from the main buffet is great for all meal times. Onlky gripe was dinner stopped at 9.30pm and felt a little rushed. The evening entertainment was varied and generally of a very good standard. There are three pools with excellent quality sunbeds and parasols. The service is pretty good throughout the day both in the restaurants, the bars and reception. You are always greeted with a smile from every staff member which makes for a fantastic and relaxing stay. The rooms are very good and spacious with fresh towels every day. The maid service is friendly and of a very high standard. My only negative is that you only get one large bottle of water per day so we had to buy more from the local supermarket (2 mins walk away) which again is not a massive issue but would have been nice as an added part to the all inclusive.

Great hotel when staying with kids. Friendly staff. Kids loved jumping castles and crepes that we made in KPR1 pool bar. Many activities everyday. Nice shows, especially amazing acrobat show! Three buffet restaurants with a lot to choose from. Resort is right next to the sea. Better beach is just maybe 400 meters away. Good swimming pools. Always sunbeds available. Outside pools were a bit cold at the end of October, so we also swam in inside pools. We preferred KBR3 inside pool. I recommend to load an Exclusivi app. There you can see all activities and possible changes.

Superior maisonette was perfect for our family of four. Hotel was really clean and major positive was there was no rushing for a sun bed at silly o'clock! Two lots of pools - one near the beach and the other across a quiet road in the block where we stayed. Choice 0f restaurant again located in either pool or beach block. Bars by each pool also and fridge with snacks available between meal times. Hotel is great if you have smaller children or are the type of person who just wants to stay in the one place relaxing by the pool for the duration.

Hotel was great, well kept and our room had a wonderful view. The rooms were cleaned every day to a high standard. Pools were lovely. Reception staff blasé about customer care, food was mediocre and the beer was either flat (restaurant) or too frothy(pool bar) and not particularly cold. They could do with having more sunbeds around the little pool, having sunbeds on grass around the main pool isnt a very clever idea as it ends up digging up the mud with the number of wet feet going over it.

We loved the food and the room! We opted for a room with a private pool and it was the best decision we made for our family! The larger pool area can get very busy and loud so the secluded room with the pool was a great escape. We also had low expectations for an All inclusive resort as never stayed at one before but the buffet food at most of the restaurants was amazing! plenty of options!

The barman at the beach bar were excellent. Polite, friendly, exceptional service and took care with every drink they made. Staff in general were very friendly and helpful. We had a pool attached to our room which was great. Also great facilities - indoor pools, gym and paddle court. Food at buffet restaurants was among the best we've had at all inclusive.

The location was great for us - only a few minutes walk from the amazing beaches, lovely coastal walks, restaurants & shops but also the bus stop into Chania town. The Piato restaurant on site next to the pool was fab and the whole place run by a super family who couldn’t have been more friendly and responsive. We had a car so parking was a plus.

The friendlyness of the staff, the clean and quiet pool, the spacious 2 rooms apartment. Being outside of Chania city center was the perfect choice. Too crowded. We had easy access to the beach, not the most beautiful in Creta, but for sure clean water and sand, not too crowded, many bars and free beach. Amazing. Easy to go to different attractions in Creta if you have your car or use the bus to quickly get to Chania center for dinner and drinks.

We had a wonderful holiday in Jechrina! Family run small hotel had everything we needed: nice clean apartment with free ac in both rooms and a nice view from the balcony, good pool with sunbeds and perfect location: sand beach, small shops and good restaurants within walking distance. The family welcomed us with warm hospitality and the hotel restaurant Piato served excellent food from breakfast to dinner. And all this with very reasonable price! Thank you again!

Spilios is close and highly recommend. The place appeared to be recently built and will have so much more to offer in the future. Looks like there are several new units with private pools being built. The main pool has a modern infinity edge design. Our room patio was furnished and was great for aperitivi sunsets.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, which is just a short walk (around 15 minutes) from Phalasarna Beach. Having a car would definitely make getting around easier. The staff were incredibly polite and attentive, and the cleanliness was impeccable. We stayed for 3 nights in a junior suite with a private pool, which was perfect for evening swims. The view of the sea from both the balcony and the pool was absolutely stunning. The infinity pool was another highlight, offering a great spot to swim while watching the sunset.One thing to note is that there is no restaurant on-site, and the bar only serves drinks. It would be great if the bar could offer some snacks as well. Despite this, we highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be booking here again on our next visit. Well done, and keep up the great work!

Statt Meerblick, hat man ein Dach Blick, nicht wie auf den Bilder vom Hotel. Sauna und Pool Bereich kosten 40€ pro Person pro Stunde. Im adult only Poolbereich gab es 3 jacuzzi, 2 davon haben nicht funktioniert. Gym super Klein, schlecht ausgestattet. Allgemein waren viele Sachen im Hotel kaputt, man kann es nicht übersehen.

Amazing resort with very friendly and helpful staff. Pools were great and well maintained and the water slides kept my 11 year old, and me, entertained as did the Tennis courts. Very relaxing and fantastic sunset views. Limited things to do in the immediate vicinty and the buffet food could have been better. Otherwise really enjoyed the stay and made full use of the spa.

Top notch service from the moment you walk in. Everybody, and I mean everybody there provides the best service/friendliness/helpfulness. Whoever does the hiring there does a great job finding such incredible employees. The resort itself is amazing. Clean, beautiful, beautiful views, great pools, good food. I can’t say enough about this place. I guess the one negative (or positive for some people) is that it’s quite a drive to get anywhere. But I guess that’s just Crete being a big island with everything spread out.

This must be my best stay at a hotel ever (i’m 37 years old and travel alot). BEAUTIFUL hotel & our room was gorgeous! Nice, polite and service minded staff that always helped me and my gf if needed. Great location with a private beach, great pool area with a nice bar. Spa, gym and 3 restaurants! Our week here was worth every penny and we will love to visit again soon 😊 also thank you for your lovely farewell gift bag with Greek olive oil and candy. 12/10!

The property is extremely well located. Peaceful and clean. The pool is beautiful. The breakfast is abondant and so tasty. The staff working the bar and breakfast were so kind and pleasant.

The staff is really friendly and helpful, the garden with the pool and the bar at the entrance are very nice. Breakfast has a lot of choices and the location is 5 mins walking from the beach but far from the noisy town centre. The room is fine (special mention to the bathroom). Highly recommended!!!

Great location 10 min drive to Rethymno port, and located 1/2-way between Heraklion and Chania, so great central location to access those areas (and Plakias area in south) while visiting Crete.

Lovely rooms and good facilities at the hotel. Nice ambiance in the outdoor poolarea and restaurant/bar. Superb and friendly staff, discrete thorough cleaning of room. We were never disturbed. Excellent access to the beach and extra pool area.

The service was excellent and the team of staff are friendly and go out of their way to help. the hotel is spotless and daily cleaning service is excellent. The pools are great and the rooftop pool and sunbathing areas are fantastic. The breakfasts were great and a fantastic start to every day.

There is a big buffet for breakfast with plenty of options and the pool is pretty large with a pool bar.

Personal super, freundlich & zuvorkommend. Essen ist okay, Fleisch immer zu lange gebraten. Poolbar top. Allerdings bei All In nicht alle Cocktails inbegriffen, wie zB Caipi oder Mojito. Lage ist sehr gut, direkt am Meer & mit dem Bus ist man in 30 Minuten in Heraklion. Durch die einzelnen Bungalows sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, kein riesiger Hotelkomplex. Liegen am Pool und am Meer umsonst und immer genug da.

A very nice hotel. The food at breakfast and dinner was superb! Our room was very clean. Lots of sun loungers by the pool and on the beach. They gym equipment on the beach is in poor condition which is a shame, as is the mini golf course. Also, on our final day we wanted to have the early breakfast at 0630. Unfortunately, staff only opened the breakfast room at 0640 and therefore we only had 10 minutes to eat as we needed to leave for the airport. Overall, a very good hotel and staff were very friendly.

Location was great, service was excellent, food was exceptional (we had breakfast and dinner). Receptionists were very helpful. Swimming pool was clean and warm. Environment was cozy and safe. Recommend to all guests.

Creta Beach has a unique peaceful ambience with greener outdoor spaces. Hotel facilities and services are good. The property stayed in is quite old, only one power socket. Hotel is backing into to sandy beach and had a large swimming pool. There are daily evening shows to entain guests. Breakfast is excellent, other times we eat out, so can not comment. Staff are friendly and helpful.

The animation team was very dynamic: just the perfect touch to be entertaining without being over the top. We enjoyed 3 relaxing days.

Lovely place very central to the beach and bars and restaurants, also close to the bus stop to chania , the family were very nice and helpful in every way , the rooms w as cleaned daily and fresh towels and bed linen regular , the breakfast was more than enough and a good variation each day ,the gardens and pool area were kept clean and looking lovely will definitely recommend this place. ,maybe if they had a sofa to sit on would make it bit more comfortable instead of having g to sit on a hard chair or the bed. . We will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely time

The location was ideal, three minutes walk and you are in the sea! Lots of shops and cafes, bars land restaurants nearby. Very clean well maintained place with big rooms and with a nice pool with a snack bar. Very friendly and helpful people work here. The Gym was the reason we chose Akatos and we are glad that we did too!

Everything was amazing. I fully recommend this hotel. They clean rooms every day and changing towels every single day. Breakfast is big, tasty, and with good quality. Staff is so polite and helpful. Everything that we asked for they tried to help. It was our honeymoon so they prepared a surprise for us (wine and fruits). There is a beautiful pool as well and they clean it every day. I will definitely comeback.

We loved everything. The location is perfect. The hotel is located in the center of a small village, so everything (beaches, pools, shops, restaurants, bus station etc.) was within 200 meters. I highly recommend Almyrida (resort) if someone is looking for a peaceful holiday. It is a really beautiful and very clean hotel with the nicest staff and great food. The roof pool is amazing. Car rent is next to the hotel.

The rooms just refurbished, spacious all with a nice sea view. Very clean and comfortable. The terrace on the roof with the pool overlooking the sea was just lovely. All the staff were simply fantastic, very attentive and friendly. Dimitri’s cocktails in the roof terrace and the live music are wonderful. Food is great, lot’s of variety for breakfast and for dinner, really very good quality. Beach is just across the street.

It was so wonderful to get out of the oppressive heat of the Cretan coast. The hotel lies at around 350m above sea level on the slope of a mountain. The air is notably fresher up there. The view from the restaurant and the terrace of our room were amazing. We had a beautiful room with a very comfortable bed. The pool area was great. The dinner at the restaurant was delicious.

This place is just FANTASTIC. Everything there was amazing. The room, the views, the restaurant, the staff and the pool... The food was amazing. We loved everything there. We will come back for sure for our next trip to Europe ! :)

We have had an amazing experience in Phos Hotel. Great service, people at the hotel were always smiley and willing to help you. Breakfast was great and there is option to also have a drink or eat at the bar of the main pool. The swim up hotel room was TOP. Silent, clean, great pool… I would have never left. We 200% recommend this hotel! Additionally there are many restaurants in the area at walkable distance so no need to take the care every day to go out for dinner, unless you want to go to Chania.

everything. nice pools and waterfall system. the rooms are big with comfortable beds. diverse breakfast. location is only 20 min from chania and a great place to visit the western attractions. we originally booked 2 nights and extended two more. there are plenty of supermarkets restaurants and bars within walking distance and so is the beach. recommend riza restaurant abit uphill but great food and view! come before sundown

A newly built, exceptionally clean, lovely room, small, but everything you need. We loved the swim up pool immediately outside the room. It is very quiet in the evening, which we enjoyed, but others may be looking for a more party type of experience. This may change of course when the roof top bar is built. Lots of very good restaurants a few minutes walk and a good amount of locals restaurants and mini supermarkets. About 4 minutes walk to the beach .

Staff were amazing. Very positive and helpful. The room was great, clean, and comfortable. The pool outside of the room is such a great feature. The location is very close to a couple of beaches and to plenty of restaurants.

Employees were super friendly and accommodating, giving us recommendations to beaches, restaurants and bars. They helped locate and hold our luggage that got lost on the flight over and it was was waiting for us when we got back to our room after a day at the beach. A credit to the hotel, the pool are is first class. No better view in Agia Marina. Free pool towels, lovely breakfast. Really couldn’t fault it and will go back for sure.

Whether we wanted a laid‑back buffet at “Grand Blue” or cocktails by the pool, options were endless. The pool & beach bars served refreshing drinks and snacks all day, and the main bar had stylish evening vibes.

Indoor pool was a lifesaver on the few days when the weather wasn't ideal. I also enjoyed the outdoor pool, which had plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. The location of Galini's is perfect for water sports enthusiasts. I had a blast trying out water skiing, paragliding, and diving on the beach. All in all was amazing experience!

The location on the lovely sandy beach and the "High St" in Kalyves is perfect. Kalyves is a lovely relatively quiet Cretan village with just enough going on to keep you happy. We stayed all inclusive and found it to be good value for money . The food was excellent with a good variety of hot and cold dishes obviously including desserts and ice-creams. The pool area is well run and the pool bar staff are friendly and efficient . We only stayed for two nights at the end of our 15 night stay but it was perfect for us as a resting place close ish to the airport.

Great location right on the beach , near to beachside restaurants 50 - 100 metres to the right and right in the small town centre for more restaurants, cafes and supermarket. Kalyves is a very relaxed place , retaining a traditional feeling not touristy in the slightest. Mixture of nationalities , French, German, Polish, British, Israelis and more. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Two nice swimming pools outdoor and one indoor pool in the spa. Water was a bit chilly but was mid may so not surprising.

Fish/geese in the river and riverside restaurant, not many biting insects, food excellent ( buffet style) although desserts were very fattening (good selection of fruit was available too). Good beach and swimming ( didn't use the pools much). Cleaner very friendly and worked hard as did other staff - desk very helpful in sorting out our boarding cards. Stayed here for 5 nights on a short break. Booked a junior suite with shared pool, and the room was great. Comfy bed, a patio with sun loungers overlooking the pool and beach. The all inclusive buffet was better than I was expecting and the staff were friendly and helpful. There isn't much else going on in Kolymvari so if you want night life etc perhaps better try somewhere else. But if you're after a relaxing break then this offers great value and a nice, small hotel atmosphere.

The resort is about 30min drive from Chania main town or 20min from Platanias (party place). 45min taxi from airport. If you are looking for a chill stay away from all the main crowd this place is for you. Waking up each morning to the sound of the waves and direct access to pool and beach was such a nice relaxing experience. The staff was very helpful upon arrival (7am) and offered us free breakfast and guided us to chill and wait by the pool while the room was getting ready. It's not a party hotel to meet people, the age of guests are most around 60+.

We had a ten night stay which was extremely relaxing and quiet. The hotel was excellently placed with a 20 second walk to the beach. The staff were very polite, helpful and efficient. Some of the rooms were allocated lie out beds next to a pool otherwise it was first come first served. The lie outs on the beach were rented out at 2.50 euros per day. We left feeling calm and relaxed with a healthy tan thrown in.

This is a medium size hotel on a rocky strip of beach in a small beach town. Nice atmosphere but if crowded there is not much space between rooms, chairs on the patio or beach. Pools spaced throughout property is a nice touch. Best part was the location- good driving distance to many great western beaches. Food is okay. Servers working hard during trying times. Several restaurants nearby but not all opened back up after Covid. 3.5 stars. 4 for location.

The sauna and steam room were easy to book and clean. Plenty of buffet options. Way too much smoking and vaping at the beach and the pool. I wish there was a non-smoking section. The gym equipment could use updating.

We've been upgraded without any additional cost from junior sweet room to a private pool sweet. The service was outstanding. All of the hotel crew were nice and lovely! Nice and comfortable swimming pools and private beach. The food was delicious and varied. Nice location, very close to a lot of restaurants and bars. Only 10-15 minutes walking distance from Malia. The sweet with the private room was just great! Two televisions with two private WiFi networks that synced with Youtube app on mobile which can be played in TV. Also built-in Bluetooth music system in the room. Recommended!

I RESORT HOTEL AND SPA is the best choice if you want to visit CRETE and have an unforgettable memory. The staff is amazingly professional, kind and helpful (a big thank to Themis, Emmanouil and the whole team!). The view is spectacular, the food at the restaurant is good, the pool is very nice and the beach as well. I highly recommend this hotel to visit this beautiful Island. By renting a car, you can visit VAI Beach (2 hours by car) and the Western beaches of BALOS & ELAFONISSI (I recommend 2 days, in order to really these places).

The property was fantastic and the staff all very friendly. The pool was a good size too and the food especially the salads very fresh and tasty. The location was perfect too and very close to lots of great local restaurants.

There are a couple of tavernas on the beach within 10-15 minutes walk.The hotel is in quiet surroundings. The owners and all of the staff went out of their way to be helpful.

Small family hotel, close to the sea (5 min walk), quiet and very clean. Nice pool area, ideal for families with children. Friendly staff, our stay there was exceptional.

Positives: The hotel looks very nice, rooms are cleaned daily, change of towels and linen every 3rd day. Bed very comfortable, good quality linen and pillows. Did not use the pool, but it looked very clean and good sized. Tavronitis is not very interesting place but is excellent starting point for exploring the western part of the island, being close to the best beaches, as well as to the city of Chania and the nice little villages. Many good restaurants and other places nearby (like Kolymbari). Very close to the crowded and noisy Platanias and Agia Marina, if you are interested. Negatives: breakfast was very abundant but could be more varied and more domestic food (it was 80% supermarket); pity our bedroom on the ground floor did not have a window (not counting the tiny rear one that had to have curtains all the time, facing the hotel passage) and did not have sea view, but only the pool view from our beautiful balcony. But still, we had and upgrade from a studio to 1 bedroom app. The bathroom is clean but the shower curtain is tedious and of no use since the bathroom floor gets wet and flooded every time. Absolute positives: highly recommended for the extremely kind and helpful staff, especially Antonia, who made us feel very welcome and special and made our stay in Crete unforgettable, so we didn’t care much for the negatives. Thank you again!

Room was clean with a great sea view. Staff were very helpful and always had a smile. Room was cleaned daily and you could tell the owners took pride in their hotel as they could be seen around lunch time out tending to the plants and cleaning the pool area when it wasn't in use. The breakfast brought to the room was very nice and meant we could enjoy breakfast at our leisure on the balcony. Any minor issues were quickly rectified, for example the batteries ran out in the aircon remote. We notified the front desk and batteries were waiting next to our door when we returned. Staff were always friendly and would ask about your day when returning to the hotel. Additional nice little touches were the staff allowing us to charge our devices at the front desk (power goes out when you leave the room) and also we weren't disturbed by the cleaner once (we are late risers) yet the room was cleaned daily. Pool and surrounding area was immaculate.

My girlfriend and I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and tidy with a good sized kitchenette should you wish to do some cooking yourself during your stay. The staff were very attentive and friendly, we were also able to print all of our documents at reception for the flight home (including all COVID-19 documents!) which was super handy. The breakfasts provided in the mornings where very tasty including different traditional Greek elements each day, having it brought to our room so we could have breakfast in bed was a very nice touch too. The local beach near the hotel is nice and quiet, snorkelling here we saw lots of different fish and even an octopus. We tended to drive most evenings to have dinner in Chania which was only 25mins away. We also drove to Elafonsi and Balos beach and found this hotel location perfect for being closer to these tourist spots. We have to say though that the local beach was actually our favourite because of how peaceful it was. It is a pebble beach which is still comfortable to sit and lay on but if you prefer sand a two min walk along the beach it becomes entirely sandy, we noticed turtle egg spots marked by conservationists along this beach and if we had more time we would have stayed up late to try and see turtles laying for ourselves. Parking was located out the front of the hotel, the road is also so quiet that you could also easily park on the road if the spots were full up although we never had to anyway.

My friend and I have just returned from a week at Palatia and had a lovely week. It is situated between the old and new towns of Hersonisos each being a 10 to 15 minute walk away. There is a really friendly, welcoming atmosphere and we really enjoyed not being surrounded by 100's of people. Always space by the pool and the apartments are equipped with everything you need. Ours had beautiful views of the coastline and mountains. I'm not normally one to visit the same place twice but Palatia & Crete may have changed that. Thank you for looking after us so well

The whole staff was extremely nice and helpful and being able to enjoy 3 pools (one for babies) was a real luxury! Close to the bus stop and to the beach / restaurants + private parking for the rental car were great. We also enjoyed our balcony. We loved the hotel and the reception staff were all very lovely. We did not use pool facilities as we came for the sea so I can not comment on those facilities. Excellent worth for money, breakfast was good and dinner had different choices every night. Hotel bar could have friendlier prices as from my experience hotel bars tend to be cheaper than bars in town which is not the case here. Keep in mind that there is a bit of a walk to the beach but you can walk across a resort nearby to get there faster. Nearby beaches were very clean and nice.

It was build like a small village with nice residences and gardens around, nice & comfortable apartments for family of 4.Restaurant, bar & pools were all a step away. Greek music during dinner was my favorite. Food was really good.Staff was very willing to help, especially Mr George Babos was very gentle & helpful.Definitely we will come back!

All inclusive did not meet our expectations. The drink and snack offer included was limited and of poor quality. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were good. Coffee was missing from lunch and dinner. Drinks were only served at the pool bar. Everything in the lobby bar was chargeable. We are used to almost all hotel services being included in all inclusive. The hotel was clean and comfortable.

The rooms were spacious and well designed for a comfortable stay. The pool area was nice. The hotel is right by the sea. Good breakfast buffet. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Very clean and the staff were friendly.

The hotel and its surroundings are very beautiful. The young staff is kind and polite. The reception staff is helpful and kind. The pool and the private beach are very good and useful with small children. We always found something delicious among the food.

Pros: Gorgeous location, friendly staff, clean, good entertainment. Cons: Modest size rooms, lots of rules (only certain types of drinks are included, can only be wet next to pool, can't swim at night, can't bring food back to room, etc.), mostly elderly clientele, rocky beach, internet is spotty and only available in public areas (not in guest rooms), no room service, not a lot of food variety day to day, spa staff was absent for 3 straight days.

Das Hotel ist eher klein, gegenüber manch anderer. Aber das macht es gerade Charmant. Man wird als Gast noch erkannt :-). In Sauberkeit und Freundlichkeit macht es einen sehr guten Eindruck. Manche Möbelstücke könnten ersetzt werden, aber uns hat es nicht weiter gestört. Das Essen war super, Abwechslungsreich und sehr international. Die Angestellten immer sehr freundlich und viel Sprachig. Alles im allen hat es uns sehr gut im Astir Beach gefallen.

Manque d’animations le soir et ils mettent que de la musique radio, pas de musique Grecque Il y a des animations la journée( gym, aquagym, pétanque et ping pong à certaines heures) Les anciennes chambres sont pas top(surtout la douche) Et les nouvelles chambres sont assez moderne et surtout la salle de bain est plus grande. Light bites and delicious cocktails were served at the various bars by the pool, near the water slides, and on the rooftop. The main pool is large, and the kids’ pool is great too. The water slides are fantastic – varied, fun, high enough to be exciting but not too scary – perfect for both our toddlers and our ten-year-olds. The spa and adults-only pool were lovely as well. Overall, an excellent experience.

The buffet food was tasty and piping hot with a big selection and fresh salads regularly topped up. Nothing was left sat out for ages. The water park was really fun and adult pools peaceful. The room was spacious and clean. Staff were really helpful. There’s water fountains around the hotel so you can top up your own bottles.

We had an amazing stay at the hotel—it’s beautifully new with plenty to do throughout the day. The food was excellent, and the three on-site restaurants were truly exceptional. We especially loved the adults-only pool at the top of the hotel—it looked like something straight off Instagram and was the perfect place to relax. The gym and spa were brilliant, and finishing each evening at the Cloud Bar with a sunset view was a real highlight. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and a special thank you to Mr. Bolakis, who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was truly unforgettable

The room I have booked was spacious and clean. The swimming pool the have is lovely, and the hotel is right on the beach, surrounded by small restaurants. Great to explore that part of the coast. It's not difficult to park nearby.

The setting is perfect right on the beach. I think every room had a view over the pool and the beach ( shallow waters and sandy so very accessible) which is directly in front down a few steps with a water/hose shower for you to wash off the sand before you return. The pool is lovely and there were ample sunbeds to relax on round it. Every room has a private terrace or balcony where you can relax as well. We had a kitchenette with a small stove top- so we could boil water for tea, a full size fridge and a sink. Plates etc are provided as is a cloth, dishwashing liquid and a tea towel. The beds were comfortable. We also had a dressing table/ wardrobe/ bedside cabinets. There was a small wall TV but we did not use it. Wifi was sufficient on the premises. And the room had AC. The location gives you access to lots of choice of restaurants, gift shops and supermarkets and the local bus which runs every 20 mins all day and till late takes you into the centre of Chania for 2 Euro each way. The people who run the place are very friendly too.

This hotel is really something else. Stunning sea view, super comfortable beds and the owners are very sweet and helpful. It has a nice location too, only 20 minutes by bus from Chania and there are many cafes, restaurants and shops in walking distance.

The location was amazing, plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The hotel rooms were cleaned daily, staff were very friendly and always got a sunbed no mater what time it was.

For the time it takes to drive to it (1h30m on not the best roads from Chania airport...) it certainly delivers once you arrive there! Go for the all-inclusive option if you're provided with the option, you will not regret it. We were on "full breakfast and full dinner" where we did expect to also get a free alcoholic drink, apparently not included. The views are stunning. Don't restrict yourself to staying by the (3) pools. There's lots to see around, the hotel grounds are immense! Staff (reception, bar, cleaning) are lovely and (mostly) helpful.

A bit off the beaten track, but a beautiful location, nice sized rooms, and a really good range of food for breakfast in the morning. Quite a few swimming pools, but also a sea inlet for swimming in too (although I didn't actually go in). Probably best located for people who want somewhere just to chill out in the hotel and surroundings, rather than going out to explore other bits of the island.

Beautiful secluded location with great views. You need to be a confident driver to access it along narrow mountain roads with sheer drops! Great sun loungers arranged at spots down the cliff face. Heat is bearable because of the wind, though it makes the pools very cold. Room was lovely and stylish.

The location, views, pool, mountains and the see are so beautiful but sadly the food and cleanliness are bad. We even went to the village to eat. The village is near 10m with car.

We really loved the fact that we received a full apartment in one of the new buildings. It was spatious enough for us and the two kids. The apartment had a small stove where we could heat up things or even cook. The grounds are very pretty, the pools are exceptional especially the infinity pool. There are quite a few entertainment options. The kids loved the water aerobics. The food (we only had breakfast here since we went sight seeing during the day and ate in different places) was plenty, great options and tasty. If you are not all inclusive and decide to eat there e.g. for lunch, the prices are good and food is tasty too. We also loved that there was a small playground where the kids could play when spending the entire day at the hotel.

Most beautiful scenic views, sunrise and sunset at pool, restaurant and sea view rooms. Nice spacious pool area with services. Professional and friendly staff help enjoy luxurious holiday at this peaceful hotel.

Location is excellent, with stunning views especially from the pool. Sunsets are especially good. It’s only a 20 minute bus ride into the centre of Chania and a 10 minute walk to Kalamaki beach. The hotel is friendly and welcoming, staff are great, bedrooms very comfortable and with good Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. The main outdoor restaurant also has some great sea views and all meals had a good selection and variety to choose from with the standout meal being breakfast. It’s a hotel we will definitely return to!

We have spent a wonderful week in this hotel. The staff was truly amazing, very caring and helpful all day and night. The most memorable moment was to experience how nice the cretan people can be. 😍 Otherwise the room with the view was really nice, and we also liked the restaurant and the pool bar. Specially the traditional food parts of the menü, it was amazing! I can only recommend this hotel with all my heart, we will never forget this magical island, and hopefully returning soon! ❤️

A fantastic hotel all round. We booked the all inclusive option which worked well for us. We had a room with a sea view terrace. It was worth the extra cost as it had a jacuzzi, bali beds, sofa & firepit! Yoga & Pilates equipment was also provided for our private use, so early morning yoga sessions on the terrace overlooking the sea were a must! The food & drink were also very good. All dinners were al la carte & the quality was exceptional even though they were catering for large numbers. The pools were large & there were generally plenty of sunbeds to use along with waiter service from the pool bar. The beach was opposite the hotel & had comfy sunbeds, serviced also by the pool bar. The only negative if there is one was that there wasn’t really much around in the immediate vicinity. However, we did hire a car which allowed us to go further afield so we could explore a bit more of Crete. A very relaxing holiday & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Thank you.

Sehr schön und bequeme Holzliegen mit Strohsonnenschirm. Essen: Reichliches Angebot in guter Qualität. Verschiedene Restaurant: Mediterrane Griechische Taverne Griechischer Grill Seadfood Steakhouse Die Vorspeisen sind von den Portionen her viel zu gross. Weniger wäre mehr. Manchmal etwas zu lange Wartezeiten zwischen den einzelnen Gängen. Wir haben All- inklusive sehr geschätzt. Einen etwas bitteren Beigeschmack hatten wir ganz zum Schluss unseres Aufenthaltes. Wir haben am Vorabend an der Rezeption nachgefragt, ob wir das Zimmer am Abreisetag länger als 12:00 Uhr (Check- out) behalten können. Man bestätigte uns dies und meinte, es wäre kein Problem, weil unser Zimmer nicht weitergegeben wird. Am nächsten Tag wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass das Zimmer gebraucht wird. Es ginge nur, wenn wir das Zimmer wechseln würden. Der Aufwand für 4 Stunden war uns aber zu gross. Schade, wir hätten gerne für das Zimmer die Verlängerung bezahlt. Jetzt müssen wir fast 5 Stunden auf den Shuttle warten. Wir hoffen Sie tragen dieser sehr schönen, neurenovierten Anlage sorge!

Sadly, we only stayed one night after our flight was canceled and we booked this hotel on a whim, and it did not disappoint! It was fantastic. The property is beautiful, the room was very spacious (great balcony with view of the sea), and the pools were amazing! The beach was stunning and all of the sun beds were comfortable. It was truly a magical place with lots of different options for lounging in the sun. At each sun bed, there is a button you press for food/drink service. There is also a wonderful bar right on the water. Dinner was incredible! I could not believe how delicious it was, especially for an all-inclusive hotel. Breakfast was equally incredible with every option imaginable! Impeccable service across the board. I would absolutely come back! Little stores down the street had nice little knick knacks for souvenirs and snacks, so definitely check them out. Only thing to note is that we had the hotel call us a taxi to the airport and I'm pretty sure we got ripped off. 20 minute ride to the airport should not be 45€ (it's that price in Athens when it takes almost an hour to get to the airport). Anyway, confirm pricing ahead of time or make alternate options!

Great room, heated private pool, room facilities were modern and very comfortable. Staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Everything was exceptionally maintained. Ya Mas breakfast fantastic, as was the buffet breakfast. Buffet restaurant had a great selection and great variation/themes on different nights.

Our room was very spacious and nicely furnished. Very clean with a large walk-in double rainshower. We had a large patio with a beautiful view of the sea. Great pool with bar area and a nice private beach for the hotel guests. The variety of food served at the restaurant is excellent and delicious. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated about 10 km from Agios Nikolaos. Taxis are easy to arrange and not expensive.

The hotel has a private beach that is well equipped with sun loungers. Snack kiosk and the mini bar make it all perfect. The beauty and facilities at the pool are amazing as well. Visited the hotel in October, facilities were enough to cater for everyone. The room was perfectly big and comfortable. Breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet were well coordinated and had variety with hard working staff.

Galini Private Pool Suites with Sea View in Agia Marina is a paradise for relaxation. With a serene pool, indoor pool, sauna, and karaoke, it's perfect for unwinding. The value shines through with free WiFi and parking.

Staff at the hotel were friendly, accommodating and the 24-hour reception was always available to assist with any needs. The cleaning products provided in my room at Galini Private Pool Suites with Sea View were a thoughtful touch and the refrigerator was convenient for storing snacks and drinks. The indoor swimming pool and sauna were relaxing and luxurious, and the hamam was a great way to unwind after a long day of exploring.

My suite had a/c, white linens, bed, closet, mirror, TV, kettle, a desk for my laptop and a balcony with a view of the pool and the sea. Sauna was incredibly top notch! Gym and indoor pool was enjoyable too. Close to the beach and the taverns of the area.

We treated ourselves to a room with a private pool, and it was worth every penny. The room was immaculate, featuring modern amenities and a comfortable bed. Having our own pool allowed for intimate moments and uninterrupted relaxation. The hotel's serene atmosphere made it the perfect romantic retreat.

Very good hotel with exceptional staff. We stayed as a couple in a double sea view room with shared terrace and pool. Each room on the terrace is allocated two solid wood sun loungers with a fantastic view over the pool to the ocean. We only stayed B&B so can't really comment on the AI part. The surrounding area is very hilly with some steep inclines so not for the infirm or those with mobility issues. The hotel does provide a large golf buggy which runs back and forth all day up until 22.00pm. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel was lovely, nice peaceful, quiet atmosphere and a very relaxing stay! The amenities are great lots of different pools and chill out areas, we made us of the free gym too which had everything we needed. Food was nice would of liked a bit more of a variety though. Room was clean, nice welcome pack only issue was no instructions for the safe and the shower was in need of a bit of tlc (shower head wouldn’t stay up on the pole and there was no plug to run a bath). Otherwise a lovely, relaxing place with very welcoming, friendly staff. Would highly recommend.

just what we wanted for a total relaxing holiday. as described you get a sea view from hotel, the hotel's beach facilities are superb where the "sea view" is even better especially at sunset. there is a choice of swimming pools with excellent loungers.

With kids more than comfortable, still time to relax.

Room was spacious and spotless, the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to help with anything I needed. The gym had a wide variety of equipment and free weights. There was plenty of delicious food with options for everyone. Lots of entertainment, live shows and fun activities throughout the day. The waterpark was a blast.

Beautiful facilities. Very welcoming staff. Room and all amenities were spotless clean. Location was excellent, since you can enjoy the very nice beach and close by little town. Would totally recommend it to anyone!

This property is new, very clean, has friendly staff and great manager who really does an excellent job of making everyone feel welcome and works very hard. The entertainment team are very good and there is sports for teens. This appealed to our sons as often there is a kids club for small children but nothing for older kids. The water park is good and there is a very nice beach across the road from the hotel - although when we stayed it was stormy and it was mostly not possible to swim but I think we were just unlucky. The food in the restaurant was also excellent which was a pleasant surprise as this was our first time doing a half board package.

The food was incredible, resort has good facilities for the family and the beach is beautiful.

Nice hotel built onto the cliff,with three pools and a small sandy beach.It had a good size,comfortable rooms with great views.Bathroom was quite dated but clean,with lovely toiletries provided so there was no need to bring anything.It had a main restaurant,where breakfast and dinner was served and A la carte restaurant that you could book once (highly recommend it).Main restaurant had a great choice of fresh fruit,salads,grilled meats,fish,olives and cheese for people like me,who don't eat chips and spaghetti on holiday.However drinks choice was a let down-no fresh juices at the restaurant,just those sugary mixers,and you had to pay for one at the bar!Also they charged for international drinks and wine and we had to pay for drinks after 11pm!Facilities were good.Three pools to choose from,two of them quiet ones and one with usual entertainment.Beach was small but very clean and lovely.There were three bars too,one of them at the beach.Three tennis courts were available too.Service of staff was ok,except Despina at the main restaurant and Sofia at the beach bar,who were fantastic!Always smiling and friendly but quick.As hotel is built on a cliff it might not be suitable for elderly people or people with very small children as there are steep hills and lots of stairs to take to go from rooms to reception and beach.However there is a free shuttle bus going up and down every 15 min or so that many people used.

Despite what some reviews might say, this is a fantastic hotel. It has views to die for, a wonderful setting, great food, great staff, a spa, a gym, two pool areas with bars, a beach bar, an indoor bar and a delightful, bonus a la carte restaurant. My wife and I had a wonderful, relaxing two weeks here. I mean, yes, if you don't like the thought of walking hundreds of steps per day (the hotel is built onto a cliff-side hence the views) then you're it's not for you. We saw it as a way of off-setting the enormous amounts of food. However, you can order a mini-bus at the dial of a phone to pick you up and move you around this extensive resort. The beach is small but private and virtually exclusive. The water is clear,I safe and there is a life guard on duty. The entertainment could be better; if you are into big, animation then this is limited but the small team do work hard. However, if you like your holiday quiet then this it is perfect at the 'quiet' pool. Just a final word, this is an international hotel, not your average Brit style resort and this means many nationalities. It seems to be a particular favourite with Russians so if you like the 'fish and chips by the sea' type holiday this isn't that. It was fun to watch world cup games here.

We were hesitant to book given some of the ropey reviews, however from the moment we arrived our doubts disappeared. 5 star customer service from checking in to checking out, the reception staff were very good, even when busy they ensured everyone was looked after quickly (often in 3 or 4 different languages too). The hotel has 4 different bars and in every one the staff were excellent also, in particular the lady at the beach bar who made everyone feel very welcome. Some of the reviews point out the size of the hotel (around 700 rooms i think) which can make it hard work to get from one area to the next if your room is near the beach and furthest from the hotel, whilst this isn't ideal the amazing flowering plants not to mention the weather (in October) made the journey pleasant. There is a courtesy bus to and from the hotel to beach, but as it's 5 minutes down and 10 or so up, we tended to enjoy the walk. The beach although small had great facilities and excellent snorkelling potential, and as we booked in October there was plenty space too. Please don't let any reviews put you off this hotel, yes it's on a hill, yes it probably isn't 5 star because of the rooms and wifi and basic entertainment, however the service, location, views, pools, beach, and food were incredible - great value for money in my view.

We are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 boys aged 6 and 8. My eldest wanted to go to Crete as he is very interested in Greek history and culture and we decided that Crete would be the best place for good weather as it was the easter week. The hotel was charmingly designed and built like a village of buildings tumbling down the edge of the hillside. The pools and the beach were great for relaxing and playing and the ample buffets were well replenished during each meal. The hotel met our needs very well, and the children enjoyed the mini disco in the evenings. We found the communal areas a little lacking in character, the main bar area had bad acoustics making it a rather stressful environment. The main restaurant was often very busy with long ques at the main grill station, another chef/server could have made a big difference there. The places to sit outside were lovely and the views were fantastic though, it was mainly the spaces inside that were a bit too hectic for my son who struggles in noisy and busy environments. The staff were all very friendly and hard working. The restaurant staff were particularly cheerful and welcoming. The only bad dining experience was our evening in the "Greek Taverner" which didn't suit us at all due to the slow service and the food not being to our children's liking. The a la carte night was great though. The only real complaint I have is the hugely inefficient Check in process! over an hour wait after a long flight was not good!

The location was perfect if you're looking to relax at the beach or pool all day. I booked a seaview room which had an amazing view of the ocean. The staff was helpful and friendly. The town is not overcrowded with tourists.

It was a last-minute booking , we didn’t really have any high expectations, however we had a very pleasant stay. We loved the location, right on the beach. Lovely clean pool and snack bar service by Georgia was amazing. Family friendly atmosphere. Rooms are well equipped for light cooking. It was a perfect 5 day for us. Very warm family running this place.

Simply the best! You feel safe, secure, relaxed, welcomed, and taken care of. Everyone in the staff is friendly and greets you wholeheartedly. Housekeeping is excellent, pool bar is cosy and inviting leading to conversations with both staff and guests, the beach is superior to Agia Marina and Platanias, and the manager Nikos treats everyone as a part of his Phaedra family. All this makes it feel like a home away from home. Rooms and standard is excellent. You don't hear the neighbors taking a shower or breaking wind like in many other hotels. The pool and pool area is top-notch. Beach in front of the hotel is as mentioned superior to other beaches in the area. Parking close to the hotel on the street is almost never an issue. I can't speak highly enough about Phaedra and the people making it what it is. We will for sure come back next time in Crete and hopefully that is in a year!

The staff was excellent - friendly, helpful, taking their time with each guest. The room had a balcony with a superb view overlooking the sea, the pool, the mountains and the town. Very low noise levels, both between the rooms and from the outside. The pool was clean and had a pleasant temperature suitable both to cool off during the day or for an evening swim. If I return to Stalida, I could definitely imagine staying here again.

The hotel is clean, comfortable, and gives you a warm welcome. The breakfast is amazing - full of fresh foods including smoothies, good coffee, and lots of fruit as well as bread, cheese, ham etc - all the usual. The pool was also very warm and quiet. It is within walking distance of a very nice restaurant. You can also walk to the beach and main tourist area - there is an underpass under the main road.

It was quiet, but the vibes were there. The pool was a perfect temperature & the room was spacious & comfortable. The breakfast had a good variety of options. I felt very safe as a solo female traveller, the town and beach is a short walk away.

We stayed at Maison Kronio 4 years ago and liked it so much we wanted to go back. We had a lovely big apartment near the pool. The rooms are traditionally furnished and very well equipped. The garden and pool area is lovely with nice views to the mountains and the plateau. Vassilis and Christine are lovely hosts and the food in their taverna is very tasty.

Everything about our stay was fabulous. Communication about accessing was simple and the hosts extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms were spotless and well equipped and the hosts left us a lovely breakfast and brought fresh bread to us in the morning. The views are amazing and i enjoyed a very refreshing swim in the pool.

Great host, great and modern accomodation. But the best was the breakfast. At first, I was a bit disappointed that we should prepare breakfast ourselves, but... we were provided with lots of fresh vegetables, cheese, bread, eggs, salad, ... Vassilis mad us to take everything with us and I think we had two more days greek salad from the tomatoes. Thanks Vassilis! It was a pleasure. Very quiet, nice pool.

Really nice place, friendly owner. In the room you can find fruits, rakija and local food for breakfast. I the morning owner bring you the bread. Quiet neighbourhood, but close to the shop and restaurant. Outside is the pool, but the weather was not best for swimming when we visited this place ;) Spacious and full equipped apartment, nice furnitures and a lot of place to relax.

Villa Archanes is a short walk to the historical village where you can enjoy bars and restaurants. The accommodation is comfortable for all seasons and the pool was great for the summer heat. We booked breakfast on site, it was varied and plentiful. A very enjoyable stay.

We loved everything about it! Beautiful room, comfortable beds, such kind and attentive hosts, amazing location above the village center, pool, delicious breakfast, absolutely wonderful service.

Our first night in Crete, coming late in the evening. Vasilis have welcomed us with raki and home-made sweet lemon. Sitting in the courtyard in warm Cretan night was very much appreciated after the flight. Location is perfect for discovering of Knossos and surroundings of Heraclion and mountain villages around. House is nicely renovated, appartment spacious and well equipped and already mentioned courtyard with the pool has lovely and homie charm. And we had the best breakfast from all our Cretan trip.

The facility is immaculate. Great location - only 9 minute walk to main square. The unit we had was a 1 bedroom and kitchen. Extremely comfortable. The pool and breakfast area is nicely situated with the rooms surrounding them. The staff and owner were very welcoming. The owner gave us numerous suggestions for the next leg of our trip that were very helpful. We would absolutely stay here again 😊

Pool area was really nice and quiet, staff in both reception, pool bar and restaurant super friendly but the main gem of this hotel is the restaurant which was absolutely amazing. Greek fusion food in a quality that we have not had it many times before (and my partner is Greek). This must be one of the best restaurants in Crete, if not in all of Greece. If you are in the area, I cannot recommend you enough to go there!

We were two families of four, the apartment was well equipped with all necessary items. The apartment was very fancy with a private pool and a lot of privacy. When we needed an extra cleaning the staff came (although it was out of the protocol). The breakfast was very good and well served. The view from the balcony and pool was amazing!

The spacious apartment with stunning view over infinity style pool and sea beyond was such a pleasure to spend time in…not just somewhere to sleep. Superb quality of accommodation, pool complete with pool bar but very few guests in September and lovely plants to complete the scene. One of the very best ever from dozens in Greece over many years.

The apartment was very nice, clean and comfortable. The pool area is beautiful and the kiosk at the pool has a great selection of food and drink. We enjoyed our converstations with Stavros, Zirnitzka, Yannis and Antonia who helped us get to know the area and a bit about the flora and fauna. Protela Apartments is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy the sunshine at the pool or sea. The local Greek food is fantastic.

It is amazing apartments, really spacious, calm (not hearing neighbours at all, despite hotel was full) and perfectly equipped inside and outside, with big balcony. We had sea and pool view apartments, so the sights were wonderful even staying at hotel! Pool is very clean, and we always got place by it when we needed. Also an advantage is small bar next to it, with some drinks/snacks and tables, also possibilty to get breakfast for small price here. Owner was really helpful and gave all information and advices what we needed for being in Kastri. We really are eager to be back to Kastri again!

We had an amazing time here, the apartment was modern, clean and had a full equipped kitchenette. You can see the Libyan sea from the balcony and enjoy a sky full of stars during the night. There is also a pool and a pool bar where we spent most of our time there.

Literally everything. The place looks amazing, great quality to everything, freshly renovated and is as good as the pictures. The apartment has everything you would ever need and if we could've we would've stayed there all summer. The hosts and Manos were as excellent, friendly and helpful as all the reviews state. The view from the apartment is gorgeous, the pool is great and there's also a bar with food available. The walk from town is short and a bit steep, but totally worth it for the view and the apartment. We would definitely come back and stay as long as possible.

The view was amazing, and the apartment is stylish and well furnished with a comfortable super king bed. The air con in the living room worked really well, which is a must for summer time in Crete! The fan in the bedroom kept it cool enough for sleeping. Manos was an excellent host - always reachable and very friendly. The beach is a 15-minute walk down a steep winding hill. Plenty of parking, but rental cars do seem to struggle slightly up that steep hill! Lovely pool area with bar (drinks, snacks, meals), and nicely maintained greenery.

We loved the stunning views. The apartment and the grounds, pool and bar area were spotlessly clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Manos recommended lovely villages to visit. Totally enjoyed our stay in peaceful, beautiful surroundings.

The property is located 1 h drive from Heraklion in an amazing mountain landscape. We loved the architecture of the entire compound, the small vilas, the olive oil museum, the dining area. The place has a lot o history to tell being as well an important surce of information about cretan culture and food. We really loved: -the infinity pool opening an astouning view of the mountains (the water is really warm and refreshing after a long day hiking in the cretan sun) - the food (with property or local ingredients). The cooking class is a must (fun for both children and adults). - there is a pannel in front of the reception with daily activities you could do in the area in the company of the staff - the accomodation units are cool and relaxing, beds are comfortable and cosy - Beside the property activities a must do in the area are: Sfentoni Cave (11 min drive), Margarites village with colorful ceramics (42 min drive), Cretanthos park and olive museum (35 min drive) where is a 2800 years old olive tree, the snail farm and fun (49 min drive) realy fun.

Quiet and over the road was a lovely pastry shop called Monterno - would recommend! Shop next door also. Just a lovely place with great people.

Excellent value apartments, very clean and wonderful hosts running the apartments. Pool and poolside was very clean. Bar and restaurant were good value for money. Hosts went above and beyond by lending my Father a walking stick which made a huge difference to the trip - thank you again. Supermarket (large and smaller) very close with fresh bread, sandwiches and pastries. ATM at larger one. Bus stop to beach or to Chania less than five minute walk.

We were made very welcome. The family that ran the hotel couldn't do enough for you. The food and drinks were excellent and always served with a smile. Our studio was at the top of the hotel with an excellent view, it was very spacious and clean. The bus stop into Chania a short walk. The pool and pool area easily accessible with plenty of sun beds. We had the best of times and left feeling we had made friends and will definitely be returning.

I spent 14 truly enjoyable days at Theos Village. It's hard to beat the welcome and kindness of the owners and staff. A quiet location, 3-400m from the beach, supermarket, and restaurants, and 100m from the bus stop to Chania (4km) or Platanias (7km). Rooms with balconies or small terraces; very clean, with kitchenettes, Wi-Fi, and air conditioning. There's also a pool near the reception/bar/restaurant where you can relax with an ouzo or other beverage and enjoy your vacation. I sincerely recommend this place. Thank you to all the staff.

Beautiful modern rooms, very clean and equipped with everything you need. Lovely clean pool area, nice sunbeds. Food was delicious, all homemade. Staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, location was perfect, just a 5 min walk to a beautiful sandy beach and 10 mins on the bus at the bottom of the street into chania old town which cos €1.10! Really enjoyed the holiday and we will defiantly be back!

Very helpful hostess. Good road connection to Elafonissi beach with own car, approaching from North was a bit exciting. Few, but nice tavernas nearby. Plentiful welcome basket with fuits, wine, raki, olive oil etc.

Great place to escape to if all you want to do is relax…peaceful with the sound of waves and cicadas, plus ocean views. Easy to reach Elafonisi by car (20min) if you go early before the buses arrive, then relax by the pool in the afternoon. We also enjoyed watching the sunset from the rock pool swimming area at the beach below (5 min walk). Room cleaned daily, regular fresh towels, friendly staff.

11/10 - Cosy appartment, very well equipped kitchen, spotlessly clean, amazing sea & sunset view, large balcony with sunbeds & umbrella, daily cleaning service, perfectly located to discover the most beautiful beaches, very good fish restaurants nearby + very nice pool area! Thanks for the warm welcome, the wonderful stay & the welcome basket with fruits, wine & other local specialties! Highly recommended!! If you like to stay longer we would recommend to go grocery shopping prior to your stay as the offer in the mini supermarket nearby is a bit limited + you definitely need a car!

This place is really amazing, even better than the photos! We stayed there for our honeymoon and couldn't be happier with our choice! Lovely view, new luxurious apartments, nice pool with a sea view, at a really nice and quiet location, and close to nice beaches and restaurants. And our host was so nice! Can't wait to come back next year!

The most stunning view you could imagine to wake up with! Generously equipped apartment with modern design furniture and two balconies. We enjoyed our short stay a lot. Big and clean shared infinity pool (off season it’s your‘s only). If you are a in good physical condition the way down to the beach or the city center or the supermarket by foot will be the perfect work out, but if not …

Nikos the manager was loveley and so helpful. He recommended restaurants, activities and a local cook (Maria) who delivered home made food to the apartment which was delicious! The apartment itself was modern, spacious and clean with fantastic quiet aircon for a great nights sleep and essentials provided on arrival. The pool area was relaxing, clean and modern with a STUNNING view! Definitely recommend for a chill holiday with friends or family.

Clean, modern, new and spacious unit in a great and quiet location close enough to airport and to Chania Town, and easy access to main road going to Rethymno. The complex has a lovely outdoor area and pool with great views overlooking the port. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

The swimming pool is clean and well taken care of. The garden is well kept, tidy and beautiful. We had a shot but sweet stay here and even though we stayed one night they let us chill by the pool the day after even after check out.

Just amazing! 😊 The garden and pool is perfectly maintained and so beautiful! And the appartment is lovely as well! Very spacious and comfortable. But the highlight is owner Nectarios who is the best host we have ever had by far- so attentive and welcoming! 🙂 unfortunately, we had planned only 2 days in the east. Would definitelly return. Nectarios helped to plan the day after our stay- both restaurant and hike suggestions were amazing! Thank you! 😊

Amazing Hospitality. Nektarios was fantastic, he offered us an amazing Cretan freshly made salad as soon as we arrived after an 8 hours trip by boat and wonderful healthy breakfast with greek yogurt, fruits, honey and walnuts. He even provided us help to fix our flat tire. Amazing place, amazing guy, wonderful landscape and great job in the garden by Nektarios and perfectly clean and clear swimming pool. Thank you for Everything Nektarios! We do recommend it for family and friends who want to have some days of relaxation together.

We had a wonderful stay at Oceanides Luxury Apartments with our 1-year-old daughter. Nectarios, the owner, made us feel at home and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. He even prepared fresh yoghurt with fruit every morning for our baby, which she loved! The apartment was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped, and the pool (with a baby section) was perfect for families. We also felt very welcome meeting Nectarios’ lovely family. Highly recommended!

I would say, all was perfect, 100% what I was looking for, comfy beds, pool view as was requested, spacious comfy room, furnitures on the balcony and almost a private swimming pool, there wasn't many people 2-5 of October, no noise around, couple of minutes walk to restauranta or beaches, perfect place for 3 days stay. Because of the stomach issues didn't try the breakfast which is a pity, I'll try next time and review. Tasty ice coffee in a pool bar and lovely staff, truly recommend this hotel

This is the second time I have stayed here, they are family run and absolutely amazing. They are kind, helpful, the apartments are lovely, all very clean - the facilities are great, lovely pool, children’s pool, bar, snack bar - loads of sun beds and umbrellas. The location is perfect for town, beach, harbour and port - it’s a genuine safe haven and I’m going to return there again.

Very clean room, quite big with a nice view of the pool and surrounding mountains. We quite enjoyed the pool during our stay, especially since the nearby beach was not exceptional. All the staff was really nice and eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The location of the property was ideal in my opinion, walkable distance to the beach, market, restaurants etc., but at the same time in a secluded and calm environment.

Breakfast was great, pool and pool bar great, beaches great (although no the turquoise sea i had expected of Crete, but water very clear and beach / seabed sandy. Lots of local restaurants and bars although not all were good. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Great location with short walk to the beach and cafes and restaurants nearby, as well as a supermarket 3 minutes away. Loved the nice pool area and the views from the balcony, overlooking the pool and the mountains. The hosts were super friendly and hospitable, and even dropped me off to the bus stop on my departure day with my massive suitcase which was so lovely. The room was clean and the kitchenette equipped with the basics to be able to cook your own meals.

The accommodation was a one bedroom property and was tastefully decorated & clean. Small living/kitchen area but was perfect for our 2 night stay. The infinity pool is just stunning with views across the wild land out to sea. The terrace with sun loungers and dining table is fabulous. It is so tranquil & peaceful, it is the perfect way to relax & recharge.

My girlfriend and I had an incredible experience at Salvia! The location is incredible if you’d like to wind down from day to day life and fully immerse yourself in peace and tranquility. Amazing apartment with everything you need and a beautiful terrace with infinity pool. From your terrace, you take a few steps and you can dive into the ocean, such a special experience. And then the hosts: hospitality really was 10/10! We have felt so welcome in their apartment, they offered to help with everything we needed and surprised us many times with their kindness. Would definitelt recommend!

We loved the isolation, the crystal waters, the serenity and the nature. We loved the property itself which is tastefully decorated and built in harmony with the surroundings. We loved our hosts that felt like family from the very first moment. We loved the small taverns at short walking distance that offer home cooked meals with local products grown by themselves. This is a unique place away from the crowds which spoils you with luxuries without making you lose the connection with nature. Interesting snorkeling spot, large patio and fantastic infinity pool are some memorable highlights. We will definitely be coming back to this one!

Exceptional villa with great location if you want to really relax, enjoy the pool and the sea. Strategically located to explore south Chania and Rethymno with numerous famous beaches nearby. As we know the area very well, we didn't venture out at all. We simply enjoyed the pool and the beach. The taverna's within two minutes walk are also very good for a simple good quality meal. The hosts are both very hospitable and very discreet. Upon arrival we had everything we needed for a long weekend break. I could easily see us there for a week of absolute relaxation.

Everything! Helen and team was so nice, preparing a delicious breakfast, also with greek specialities. The rooms were lovely, stylish and had a beautiful seaview. The cute cat named Oscar and Helen’s dog welcomed us friendly as well and the time at the pool great. The pool is huge!! Great for swimmers as well. Also it’s the perfect place to chill. You might want a car/bike to drive around as it’s not too close to center (8 mins by car).

Our stay was great thanks to Helen the owner who was really nice and helpful. The swimming pool with sea view is Amazing. Our room had been refurbished with a nice terrace on the garden. Breakfast was great! Everything was perfect!

Set in a beautiful garden. Everywhere was exceptionally clean and Helen and her staff were very friendly and helpful. The fresh home cooked breakfast buffet was to look forward to going to bed at night! Lovely pool with plenty of seats.

Eleni was nice to chat with and extremely helpful with advice for restaurants or things to do. Close to restaurants, beautiful beaches and the charming Paleochora. We loved our stay!

The hotel was brilliant would highly recommend staying here when visiting Chania. Gina, Maria, Harris and all the staff at Sun City are so nice and welcoming - we were travelling with 2 young children and they went out of their way to help us. They’ve a big swimming pool and also a pool side bar which serve good food and even better cocktails. Hotel is right beside loads of restaurants and a short walk to the beach. It’s a great spot - it’s a 10/10 from us!

Very nice and friendly staff that spoke very good English. Very spacious room, outdoor pool with a bar open until midnight, good breakfast, and very good location with many restaurants around. Clean rooms with daily room service, aircon, fridge, and comfortable beds. We had a rented car and we found the location to be very good starting point for visiting beaches, Chania, and Samaria Gorge.

We had a very comfortable stay there. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The hotel has a beautiful yard, a nice buffet and a pool. The location is very convenient with several good restaurants and two big stores nearby. The four very nice beaches are within 10 min walking distance.

The room had everything we needed. Super cozy, it feels more like a family home than a hotel, it’s lovely! It was well equipped and even had a little stove so we could make our own food, and the traditional breakfast was delicious. The staff was super nice and friendly, we got to know truly great people that made a very positive difference in our stay, we will 100% stay there again when we go back to Crete. It’s also walking distance from amazing beaches, and spending a day at the pool is well worth it!
