The room was large and comfortable with a HUGE bed, and luxurious bathroom, robes etc. All rooms benefit from a sea view which is lovely. The pool & pool area was lovely, breakfast was delicious and ample. The whole experience was of 5 star luxury. I would highly recommend.

The rooms were large and well air conditioned. Great view of pool and sea. So quiet at night. Housekeeping attended at least once a day to tidy and replenish towels, bottled water etc (loved the little buns left each day) The breakfast was outstanding, all tasty and plentiful right up until it finished at 10.30 and we were a family of 5 and always got a table outside. The pool area was fab, my daughters loved the beanbags and always sunloungers available for 5 of us each day. Lovely fresh towels. There’s a good, large supermarket 10 min walk away.

the Pool is magnificent, with Maximum sunshine and great water temperature. the Poolside snack service and VERY well stocked bar was great. fantastic views from our room, VERY comfortable mattress , ample cupboard space and a very spacious bathroom. the one or two (very small) issues we had, were dealt with IMMEDIATELY , before we returned to our room. *Best Ceasar salad ever

The words luxurious comfort come to mind. We did the beach, pool and spa in one day. No charge to use their saunas and soaking pools in the spa. The breakfast buffet was unparalleled. Our family truly enjoyed our stay and are already day dreaming of a return trip.

This is the most beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The infinity pool is just perfect with amazing views to the coast. Our room was really comfortable and felt very private. Breakfast was excellent. Easy stroll to the village where there are several good restaurants.

We stayed in a beautifully transformed water tower into a modern double room in front of the vineyard. You can clearly recognize the architectural touch of Ricardo and Margarida. The infinity pool was amazing with a wonderful view. Breakfast was exceptional. Perfect getaway from Lisbon city life. Thanks.

A beautiful property in a stunning location with far reaching views to the coast. Our room was large and comfortable, we liked the style and natural materials and we enjoyed sitting on the terrace. Staff were friendly and polite. Breakfast was very pleasant and calm in a lovely room overlooking the pool. It’s a quiet area but there was a very good restaurant 5 minutes walk away and it’s within easy reach of other restaurants along the coast. Sintra, Lisbon and Cascais were great for day trips.

The location was amazing, the view was even better in person than from the pictures. I came for a few days down time and the place and the staff exceeded my expectations, I basically had the whole spa to myself and the jacuzzi was great! The breakfast and the pool were also really good and the room was comfortable with a great view from the patio. I will definitely be back!

We love staying in farm areas - beautiful vines and outstanding view of the ocean and cliffs. Close to Sintra and also 4 great restaurants a few minutes away (walking distance 700 metres) . Ricardo and Margarita are so welcoming and hospitable.. The pool is gorgeous and clean, but it was raining so I just enjoyed looking at it. We'll definitely recommend to our friends.

A luxury retreat. Tucked away in the hills with a view of the ocean, a heated infinity pool and the cozy comfort of fireplaces scattered throughout. The rooms are spacious and equipped with in-room soaking tubs and cozy robes to really lean into the relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was big and tasty! Really enjoyed our stay.

The outdoor space of Charm Nature sets you up for relaxation, from the library and breakout area, to the bar and lastly the pool area. The proximity to the national park is a real bonus too, next time we'll head off for a walk then head back to the pool after.

Very helpful, nice staff. Lovely pool and view. Superb breakfast. Great location for exploring, but you'll need a car... They have electric charging if you can rent an electric car too. Only small challenge for some would be the open plan room including shower in same area... But maybe not all rooms are like that. All in all my wife and 8 year old son and I really enjoyed it.

Wonderful staff, Miguel and Tatiana were very helpful. Beautiful surroundings, very comfortable and classy but not flashy and nicely blended with the local environment. Gorgeous rooms and bar area and lovely pool area with sea views, though it was a bit rainy for us to use!

Clean, bright, friendly hotel in central Cascais. Nice pool with an overlook of the beach. Pool view well worth the extra expense. Bar/lounge has a beautiful setting. Quick walk to restaurants and shops. Room was comfortable, clean and efficient. Balcony was the highlight.

This hotel was beautiful. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is central and so convenient. The pool was small but perfect for us. The views from the pool area are magnificent. Very clean and comfortable. It’s also walking distance to the train making travel into Lisbon extremely convenient.

Lovely traditional hotel in great location overlooking the beach and the sea. Very comfortable rooms and beds. Excellent breakfast choices and lovely terrace for a drink or meal. Very attentive staff. We did not use the pool as it’s was late October but great to sit by the pool and enjoy the view. Cascais is a great choice to stay and visit Lisbon by train. Fabulous to come out of the busy city to such a lovely location and hotel.

Beautifully decorated spacious rooms overlooking the ocean. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Food is amazing and breakfast options are plentiful and delicious. Views from the restaurant, bar and pool are over the ocean with a huge sandy beach right next to the hotel. Pedestrianised zone with bars and restaurants are right next to hotel with train stations also very close with easy route to Lisbon. Perfect place to stay.

We stayed as a family of 8 adults and a baby. From the minute we arrived the experience was amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Check in was seamless. The rooms and whole hotel decor were beautiful. The bar was lovely with a great full menu. Pool area was lovely. Rooms were spacious and clean. Room attendant was in twice a day and was lovely. Breakfast was delicious and nothing was trouble. You could order what you wanted. Staff were attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Spectacular setting and a lovely room overlooking the ocean. Staff was very professional and attentive. My only comment would be that they should have a pool as the public beach is very windy and the hotel does not have it's own beach

We were so lucky to be upgraded to a beautiful room with a balcony and incredible views of the pounding waves of the Guincho beaches. We arrived from the airport just too late for the dining room but the staff were so kind and welcoming and the chef made us a plate of cheese and nibbles which was perfect. Our first room downstairs was quite dark with a very small window and distant view of the sea and it was a little noisy, being directly on the main reception area, but the beds were comfortable and the service was impeccable and as mentioned we were lucky to move to a great room on the first floor. The bar restaurant has delicious food and there is a good selection of local wines and also cocktails. No pool and the beaches were too rough for swimming but you can pay a fee to use the sheltered pool in the next door hotel - the best of both worlds.

Fortaleza is a beautiful hotel that combines a sense of place with luxury. Our enclosed balcony room looked over guincho beach and we enjoyed watching the kite surfers during the day and waves at night. Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom seemed recently updated. Reception and all the staff were genuinely kind and professional. Their delicious breakfast was served in the dining room with more amazing views- it was our favorite breakfast experience the entire trip. The more casual The Spot and their Michelin starred gastronomic restaurant were both outstanding (especially the restaurant) and worth the splurge for us. I would recommend booking directly with the hotel for additional perks like complementary mini bar and welcome port. We visited Sintra from here and it was simple to get to and from via Uber. We would highly recommend and hope to visit again. Also, this place was off the main bustling area. Which we loved. Be prepared to drive or coordinate with Uber or bolt.

This was an amazing place to stay. Located on a cliff between 2 beaches and views of them from the hotel rooms made it for me. The service from check in to check out was done with the utmost professionalism. Dinner, dessert, and drinks from the “Spot” restaurant and bar were fun and delicious. I had a full taste experience dinner in the Michelin rated restaurant the was beyond anything I had ever experienced in a restaurant. The servers were exceptional in explaining everything to me and presenting the dishes. The Pairings were perfect. 2 hours of a Devine dining experience in a wonderful location. And the included breakfast in the mornings was incredibly comprehensive.

The Atlantic views are indeed spectacular but the real stars in this hotel are the rooms, food and staff. This is a lovely hotel which radiates calmness, and is extremely comfortable. The rooms are well appointed, although the bathrooms, all with showers now, are a little small. Incredibly clean. We didn't dine in the formal restaurant but as the same chef presumably supervises the kitchen the food in the "informal" restaurant is excellent. Plenty to choose from. The sauces were fantastic - a mark of a good kitchen. We think that they underplay this restaurant, Spot, which is why we are rightly bigging it up. The staff in the restaurant and bar were delightful. So cheerful, professional and accommodating. Special mention for Daniella, Rui and Francisco. Finally - although we didn't do this, this hotel is sufficiently close to Lisbon airport that it would be perfect for a long weekend. The hotel can arrange transfers, and the reception staff were impeccable.

Hotel was incredible. The staff was super friendly. The hotel was clean. Great restaurant and pool. The pool does get busy so just keep that in mind but the location was perfect. Across the street from the water and downtown Cascais. It was safe and clean everywhere we walked to. I just wish we stayed longer!

Staff at reception were great and super-helpful. They gave us an upgrade upon arrival and lots of help with restaurant bookings etc. The valets were also fantastic. The only area that needs improving is the pool staff; they bring drinks, but are not helpful with pool towels, water and so forth. There were dirty towels and used glasses left everywhere. Everything else was fantastic: location, view, quality of bedding and accommodation, parking and the maintenance; there’s even a peacock who canes daily from the nearby park for a stroll: so cute!

The property is generally very good as is the location and the staff. My one criticism is the petro chemical smell that can be detected when close to the outdoor pool and when in the pool.

Recommended by a local friend, I had a lovely stay at the Grande Real Villa Italia Hotel. A beautiful large room with ocean view and private terrace, nice facilities, enormous breakfast buffet including gluten-and lactose-free options. Friendly, helpful and kind staff. Luckily I was able to go for long early morning walks on the oceanfront, and swim in the pool, so I was able to skip the gym, which would be my only suggestion for improvement. I will definitely return. Thank you to everyone who made my stay so comfortable and enjoyable!

The hotel staff was very friendly upon check in. The young man not only brought up our luggage but then was kind enough to explain how to use the AC and coffee maker. The breakfast buffet was excellent, plenty of different food to choose from and the staff was very attentive, friendly and inviting. Parking valet service was also appreciated since most parking facilities in Portugal is difficult to navigate. The pool area was clean, plenty of towels and chairs for an afternoon rest and relax from a day of seeing Cascais.

I am so sad to have left! This was a 5 star experience from check-in to check-out. The staff were phenomenal and super friendly with amazing recommendations, the food was great, pool and rooftop views were spectacular. Easy walking distance to the beach but it is a bit further from the center of Cascais. We typically walked one way and Ubered back as Uber were very easy to find. Only downside is there seemed to be many events at the pool so no pool or dinner service those afternoons. Some days I planned to be at the pool this was not possible given the events taking place.

The hotel is super great: modern and beautiful, comfortable room, good facilities, nice people. Breakfast was good, rooftop bar and rooftop pool with a nice view. Never had to wait for an elevator for more than 10 seconds - how is it even possible?:) But the things I liked the most was the shower in the room (it was so perfect!) and the indoor pool, steamroom and sauna. The sauna has glass wall so you can see the ocean being in there as well. All in all, when will be back to Portugal will choose Evolution hotel again. Highly recommended!

Beautiful surroundings with all details taken care of, from decor to sound to scent. Felt like a luxury experience - which was a good thing at the price! The rooftop pool was amazing and the spa pool and facilitates were gorgeous. The cocktail bar downstairs was innovative with a great barman who loves his job and gave us a mini-masterclass on his cocktails. Super-comfortable beds.

This was my first stay at Sintra Boutique Hotel, my first visit to Sintra, Portugal. A smaller hotel than I am used to, but of course that is implied in the name - it is situated in the historical part of Sintra, where I guess land is at a premium. Maybe smaller than I have been to, but no less good quality. On arrival the staff were very helpful and polite, I had accidentally left my phone back at home in England and would need to buy one for this visit. No problem, they showed me on a map where I could go, even naming the shops I would need - perfect! Even though a slightly smaller room than I was used to, it had everything I needed - Wi-Fi, phone , Tv, desk, fridge, ensuite shower room, coffee machine, bottled water. Everything was clean, the bed very comfortable and my room had an interesting view from the front of the building. This maybe classed as a boutique hotel but, has many socializing areas, certainly on the ground and first floors. The buffet breakfast was more than adequate and staff helpful. I do not really wish to say anything negative about this hotel, but I guess as a heads up - the only thing is that this hotel did not have was an evening service in their restaurant. And something which seems particular to Sintra, which I had not known before, the kitchens in the restaurants in the area close at 9.30pm. But I repeat, a good hotel and the staff were friendly and very helpful at all times !

We selected this property for a one-night stay based upon Trip Advisor reviews and it’s location. We’re glad we did—our stay was terrific, and we won’t look any further on our next trip to Sintra. While rated 4 stars in the European system, this is at the high end for that level. What we liked: - Great staff. We arrived at about 9 AM and left our bags with the hotel. We received a warm welcome and excellent tips for local sightseeing. We found the evening staff just as friendly and helpful; they even tracked down a bottle of wine from the (closed) restaurant for us. Breakfast staff was also very friendly. All spoke English. - The rooms are extremely nice and modern. Super clean, excellent bathrooms, mini-fridge in the room. - Ideal location. The hotel is right at the edge of the old town that bus loads of people come to visit. Nothing in old town is more than 4-5 blocks away. Quintra da Regaleira and Castelo dos Mouros both are within walking distance. Pena Palace is a short Uber ride away. - Staying in Sintra. We loved the early morning and after 7 in old Sinta. The crowds are gone and the town is so much more enjoyable and quiet. This is a superior experience to day tripping from Lisbon. - Breakfast was excellent. Mostly European, with some nods to Americans. Everything was very fresh. This place is great. You won’t be disappointed.

Perfect two night stay right in the heart of Sintra. Our room was very spacious, clean, modern, comfy bed and lovely view. The gentleman at reception was super helpful, with many tips not only for Sintra but for our entire road trip through portugal. So lovely to chat to. Breakfast was delicious with great variety. All the pastries were amazing. Highly recommend for your stay in Sintra !

A great base for exploring Sintra! We planned to start our days early, so I specifically chose a hotel with onsite breakfast buffet instead of a B&B or apartment. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The pastries were great (the egg tarts were served hot and delicious), and there were also hot breakfast items like eggs, sausage, and bacon. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. Overall, a great stay!

The room was really sizeable, clean and comfortable; the bathroom and kitchen were also more than sufficient for our requirements, The balcony was perfect for an aperitif in the evening, and the cafe close by was excellent for breakfast and snacks, However, the best thing about Villa Bicuda was the swimming pool - you could always guarantee a sun lounger and shade, it never got too busy and the pool was wonderful for a dip when the sun got too strong.

Spacious, clean and very comfortable self-catering accommodation. Excellent and professional staff. Good sized, clean pool. Excellent bakery, decent restaurant and mini-market. Quiet, attractive surroundings, close to (by car or taxi) Caiscais and Praia de Guincho.

One of the nicest places I have stayed the vila was so comfortable and spacious and loved the decor. The vila was well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen utensils fridge freezer, dish washer, cooker. The pool area is great my daughter just loved it! Very well maintained. There is a wonderful coffee shop on site with a bakery serving fresh bread and pastery! Overall a great facility and very safe with 24hr security on the man entrance I most certainly will be back. The main area of cascauis is a 40 min walk but uber and bolt are around 4-5 euro

Spacious, comfortable link villas, with parking right by the villa and close to a great pool. Lovely bakery/ coffee shop with fresh bread and cakes/pastries and a terrace to sit and have a cup of tea or coffee. Laundrette and small supermarket on site. Great to get daily cleaning and toiletries as if you're in a hotel.

Comfortable, beautiful "house" with plenty of room for a three-generational family. Convenient bedrooms and kitchen. Close to swimming pool in a quiet complex with lovely landscaping. Nicely decorated and clean. Helpful and unobtrusive staff. Also convenient cafeteria and services.

The hotel is set in a beautiful old building, surrounded by nature. It has a cosy, tastefully landscaped garden with a swimming pool. The room is spacious and has a balcony overlooking the garden. Friendly, helpful hotel staff. Breakfast is fulfilling and tasty. Parking is available in the yard of the hotel, which is a great advantage in Sintra. We would love to come back here again.

The property is a 15 minute walk from the historic center which is great. Quiet, relaxing, spacious property. The gardens and pool are amazing. Breakfast was lovely. You can sit in the garden to enjoy breakfast. Check in and check out was easy. Two large sitting rooms to relax indoors. Excellent hotel to relax.

The building is 150 years old and the furnishings as well! It was like I travelled back in time a bit and I loved it! But the facilities were from this century ( comfortable beds, wonderful shower, amazing breakfast and friendly staff ❤️) The gardens and pool were an added plus!

Beautiful, Holder luxury property situated at the foot of garden pads to the Morris castle and Peña Palace. Perfect location to relax and get away from the Lisbon hustle and enjoy luxurious, large gardens, and pool. Fantastic breakfast and helpful front desk staff. We would definitely stay again.

Exceptional service, very helpful receptionist and friendly breakfast manager, all of whom had a good sense of humour and a wish to accommodate us beyond the expected minimum. We were moved from the first floor to the sixth just because we said how much nicer the view would be from there. They were also really enthusiastic to help us make choices about where to watch a particular movie (Mi:8), and which beaches to visit based on restaurant choices and costs. There was some funny banter at check-in making a good experience even better. However, it being a 4-star hotel, we were surprised there was no water kettle or coffee machine in the room, and you must pay for the second bottled water if you have already gulped the first one. So, for a couple staying overnight, avoid getting too thirsty, or just drink Lisbon’s clean tap water, that we normally do anyway, and reduce on plastic waste. One more odd thing was that the gym was in the basement level and and didn't lure to explore it. Also, I incorrectly assumed there would be a pool, so now I need to make it up to my wife some other way… Yet he hotel is in an amazing location in the Oeiras business area and our emphasis is on all the nice aspects about it. We would certainly go back.

The hotel is located in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood, which makes it really easy to access. The atmosphere is calm, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and kept very clean. We had a great time enjoying the variety of options at the breakfast buffet, which offered something for everyone. The staff was friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. However, one small downside was that the room service didn't replenish the coffee and tea supplies daily, which would have been a nice touch. Overall, it was a lovely stay, and we’d definitely consider returning. Let me know if you’d like any other changes!

Very comfortable, modern hotel. Excellent breakfast buffet provided many food options using a delightful wait staff (some were young adult waiters-in-training)! The staff was extremely helpful, efficient, and accommodating in terms of pick up and drop off at the Lisbon train station, and helping us to plan our days. We used this hotel as our base for exploring Lisbon and Evore. Rooms were pretty standard high end hotel rooms--comfortable and clean.

I only stayed one night at Onyria Quinta da Marinha hotel but wish I had stayed longer. It is a beautiful resort with a lovely pool and golf course area. The staff were very welcoming and were careful with Covid protocols. The room was clean, spacious, with a large bed, and the air conditioning worked well. There is an infinity pool which looks out onto the golf course. The pool is very nice but is not huge. The bar food was good but expensive (I didn't eat in the restaurant itself). Despite that, I thought this hotel was overall very good value. You can pay to park in the underground car park with the resort fee (only 2 Euros a day) or there is free parking on the street outside. If I wanted an escape from Lisbon for a few nights, I think this hotel is ideal. I would definitely recommend it.

Great location, spacious rooms, the pool area is comfortable (but pool is not heated). The view on the golf course behind the pool is stunning. Breakfast offering is quite good.

Veey comfortable, friendly and welcoming. Hotell was superbly clean and well maintained. Pool area was busy but never felt crowded. Food options were great and tastt. The staff were attentive and very helpful but never overly fussy. We enjoyed, both the outdoor and indoor pools. The golf course was also in fantastic condition despite what other reviews have said and well worth a round if you play golf. I play a lot of gokf in scotlabd and the greens were easily as good as premium courses ive played this year. Wish i couldve played it more. We will definitely stay again and for longer.

This was our third stay here and everything was brilliant from the staff to the rooms and the swimming pools. The staff go out of their way to be helpful and are always smiling. They were brilliant with my 2 daughters. The pools are always clean and frequently had them to ourselves which was amazing. we will be back for a 4th stay

This hotel retains its old world charm. Pool very accessible, concierge services a fountain of knowledge, helpful with restaurant recommendations. Breakfast staff also outstanding. Reservations also kindly upgraded us when there was an error in the booking. Poolside staff need to take a leaf from their book. I found pool service slow, and inattentive. Drinks at the pool also overpriced. 12 euros for a shared can of coke just taking the biscuit. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are looking at returning next year. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was excellent with a wonderful choice of fresh food. Pool was lovely with no problems finding a sun bed. Pool itself is wonderful and not too full of chlorine. Depth of water and temperature both good. Room very comfortable and spacious. Staff are the 'jewel in the crown' as they all look so smart (including the housekeeping staff) are extremely helpful and courteous. Special mention for the Concierge Jose and the helpful pool staff.

This Place is beautiful and the staff is amazing. We did not get any vip access or room upgrade so that was disappointing. The food was great, I would suggest the pool hire some more staff so a drink doesn’t take 30 minutes to get. Some days the pool service was slow and the young ladies did not know what they were doing. We didn’t have lunch 2 days because of service at the pool. The front desk staff and doormen, cleaning and concierge were fantastic! Can’t wait to return.

Magnificent hotel without pretense! Abundant staff was warm, helpful and friendly. Included breakfast was sumptuous and of excellent quality. Pool and Spa perfectly situated with food and drinks availble. While every area of the interior was elegant without question there was no problem wearing beach coverup from elevator or restaurants to pool. Hard to decide which was more impressive the Hotel & property or the fabulous staff.

My husband wanted to stay at this hotel because it featured in one of the Bond movies. It is an absolutely beautiful hotel and didn’t disappoint. The swimming pool area is magnificent with plenty of comfortable sun beds, a convenient bar and a very good pool attendant. The breakfast was delicious, so much choice and a beautiful setting. It was very easy to get from the hotel into Cascais for more sightseeing, eats and drinks. Only a mile or two and a few euros in an Uber.

Stayed one night in Sintra and this modern hotel was just right, being close to the station. It's about 15 minutes walk into the historic part of Sintra but there are good restaurants close by. The room was spotless, comfy bed and efficient shower and Aircon but overall, a bit small for more than a couple of nights. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and all the staff we encountered were cheerful and helpful. The coffee machine from our room was missing, but we were able to use one in the breakfast area.

We arrived in Sintra by train from Lisbon and walked to the hotel (down a steep staircase). It was too early to check in so the hotel staff kept our luggage while we took an uber to Pena Palace and then walked to the Moorish Castle and back to town. We ate lunch at Bacalhau na Vila (delicious) and then checked in to the hotel. The room was simple and clean with a lovely view out the back with french doors (Room #14- very good location within the hotel). Nice modern bathroom with toiletries and hair dryer (no wash cloths which is typical in Portugal). We visited Quinta Da Regaleira after lunch- the hotel staff was great but did tell us it was a flat walk -beware - there are no flat walks in this town!! (: We had dinner reservations across the street at Incomum Luis Santos and the food & service was excellent. In the morning, a complete breakfast is served downstairs and there is a porch and patio area. It was very nice. Unfortunately, the staff have to make each cup of coffee and we drink a lot so felt bad to keep asking! The hotel is very clean and the staff are wonderful. Amazing value.

We had a wonderful time visiting Sintra recently and staying at the Sintra Bliss Hotel. The location was very convenient for the train station and for walking to the National Palace and Historic Centre. The front desk staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and pleasant. They gave us many good recommendations of places to eat and sites to visit and how to get to them. Rafaela was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. Our room had a door leading to a balcony and the court yard. It was nice being able to walk outside from the room. The breakfast had many delicious options and was very extensive. It was very reasonably priced. Highly recommend visiting the beautiful town of Sintra and staying at the Sintra Bliss House.

Room was airy, well- ventilated, and one could open the balcony door for fresh air. Lovely, quiet, view. Bed and bathroom linen were very good. Furniture met all requirements- closet space, room for suitcases, spacious beside tables, mirrors, extra chair etc. Breakfast was excellent quality and the best we had among 4 hotels we stayed at in Lisbon, Coimbra, Porto and Sintra. Staff were very helpful, courteous, friendly, professional and knowledgeable.

The location of Sintra Bliss was perfect. We had a nice quiet room facing the courtyard with french doors to the patio. All the staff was so friendly and helpful. Rafaella at front desk was wonderful! She spoke perfect English. She helped us plan our stay and sent a lovely plate of sweets to our room as it was our anniversary! The daily breakfast was very good with many choices, and staff made cappuccinos if you requested. The breakfast room overlooks the garden, and has lots of light. The room was very clean with a large washroom, and beds were very comfortable.

I liked everything about this hotel It is family run and Rui was amazing offering advise on where to go and what to see and going above and beyond on service The hotel was immaculately clean, the room spacious and comfortable with a little terrace and amazing shower Unlike a lot of hotels breakfast was included in the price and was delicious with a great choice of fresh fruit, breads , cereals, yogurt and hot choice The location was great 5 minutes walk from the station and old town but very quiet with a lovely terrace and views across to the castle Don’t be deceived by the 2 stars this hotel is better than many 4 star hotels

The Hotel was perfect. Room was clean, quiet, comfortable & reasonable. Big window overlooking Moors Castle. Bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was excellent and the room it was served in was cozy. Met other nice travelers from different countries. Location couldn't have been better. Short walk to the train station & the 434 Bus. (Life line to the sites) A short walk into the downtown and a short walk back away from the crowds. Short walks to everything Host Rui was helpful at every stage of the operations. Truly an amazing host with a strong passion for making his guest happy. He helped with luggage; parking; checkin; breakfast and gave us helpful touring & great local dinner suggestions. The deck & patio was well gardened and offered a great escape from the touring insanity. I felt at home.

We were met by Rui, the owner, when we arrived well before check-in time, having taken an early train from Faro to Lisbon that morning. We were able to check in early so dropped our luggage in our room and headed for Pena Palace for our afternoon appointment time. When we returned back to the property we opted to have some drinks on the expansive and beautiful outdoor terrace which had with lovely views of the mountains ( Moorish castle is lit up at night!). The property is also a ituated within walking distance to lots of great restaurants and not far to the historic Center of town. Rui also gave us a great recommendation for dinner at Incomum and phoned to book a table on our behalf. We were not disappointed! Beds were comfortable and we both slept well! Always a plus!! The breakfast in the morning had lots of variety, including both hot and cold choices, great automatic espresso machine, and warm croissants with delicious jams and cheeses. Rui and his son were both very friendly and helpful!

The hotel is located near the train station of Sintra and was easy to find. For the check-in it is easiest to park in front of the hotel and get a parking ticket for an hour (0,8€ for 1h). Free parking lot within walking distance that you get directions to after check-in. Rui is the most wonderful host! He is very caring and gives lots of good and honest advice! When the palaces and parks were closed due to a workers’ strike, he already let us know in the morning that there is talk of a strike and kept us updated throughout breakfast! He also recommends good places to visit and eat inside and outside of Sintra! Since we had to reschedule our visits to the palaces and parks for the next day, we were able to leave our luggage and car at the hotel even after check-out! The room was very comfortable, clean, well-cared for with a new shower and lovely views of the surrounding area. The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked very well, too! The hotel is very quiet and breakfast had a good selection of bread/toast, coffees/hot chocolate, cereals, fruits, juices, warm breakfast, etc! We really enjoyed our stay and think it was a really good value for money there. We can recommend this hotel and will definitely come back!

This was our first visit to Sintra and we could not have found a better hotel. Rui and Domingos are wonderful hosts. From restaurant recommendations, things to do, and places to visit all we had to do was ask. The room was clean and comfortable with a great view over the terrace to the Moorish Castle. The hotel is located a short walk from the train station were you catch the 434 and 435 buses. These take you to all points of interest in Sintra. There are many great restaurants ond cafes nearby. The hotel has free parking nearby. A great perk as parking in Sintra is scarce. The included breakfast was excellent. Eggs, sausage, ham, cheese, bread,yogurt, fruit, cereal, and fresh squeezed orange juice along with the best coffee starts your day off on the right foot. When we return to Sintra Hotel Nova Sintra is where we will be staying.

Amazing service, rooms are impeccable, private balcony with ocean view was amazing. Pool is in a great spot and very quiet. Included breakfast was delicious and had a great water view from the balcony, attached restaurant was also very good.

Loved this hotel! Every room has a complete ocean view along with a large shady balcony. All amenities were very nice, rooms were modern and well maintained. The restaurant also has ocean views, food was very good, service was friendly and professional, but a tad slow. But I enjoyed the leisurely pace, so all was well. The pool area was beautiful. And I LOVED the location. The ocean front promenade was very close and you could easily walk to downtown Cascais.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The view from the restaurant was beautiful, and the pool area was very quiet. We loved walking along the beach boardwalk and enjoying the sea view.

The stay was pleasant with a beautiful pool view room and amazing big balcony and overall staff was amazing from the check in and in service in the bar especially the night team Anildo was very helpful in the middle if the night helped us with the service required special thanks to Anildo.

very nice hotel with and excellent and professional staff! The location is close to the beach but the pool area is also great for nice relaxing stay. Delicious breakfast served on the terrace and the staff that made us feel like home. Thank you for the great stay!
