Staff were really nice and helpful. We felt very welcome. My room was comfortable and quiet. I enjoyed the breakfast. I also had a lovely swim in the outdoor pool. The location of the hotel is great. It is lovely on the river and great for walking around Bayonne centre.

There is big parking with the hotel. It has more of the feeling of a motel, but it is close to the city center, and the beds are good. The swimming pool is quite small, but there is one for warm days.

Excellent bedding in the rooms, total quiet (with rooms overlooking the hotel pool and the Nive river), wonderful walking/jogging path right out the door, friendly and helpful staff, generous breakfast, welcoming restaurant/bar area (great for evening snacks and cocktails). I stayed with a group of 15 other travelers for 10 nights while we got to know the Basque region, and the hotel was incredibly accommodating. A short walk into town brings you to all the local restaurants and shops. Easy pick-up for car or tour bus right outside the hotel. Bayonne is a perfect starting point for all the towns along the coast (Biarritz, St-Jean-de-Luz, Hendaye) and the backcountry as well (St-Jean-Pied-de-Port, Espelette, Ainhoa, Sare). I definitely recommend staying here; it's the best bargain in town.

Everything about this hotel was excellent! Very clean, nicely scented, and the staff were friendly. The location in the city was great, our room was spacious, and the balcony had a beautiful view. We really enjoyed our stay. The pool was also clean and very nice. My only suggestion would be to occasionally check on guests by the pool and offer anything they might need.

This is the second time we have stayed here and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back again. It is easily walkable to everything - shops, restaurants and each of the beaches. Each time our room has been fresh and clean, with a good sized balcony with lovely view of both the city and the sea. Kitchenette is well appointed. The pool is very nice. The reception staff have all been very helpful. It’s really just a great place to stay and I would definitely come back.

We had an ocean view room on the 5th floor (room 506 I think). It was a bona fide studio apartment, with a well equipped kitchenette, bed alcove and 2 bunks in a separate alcove if you need it. Absolutely perfect ocean views from the balcony and indeed the sofa, with the sound of the rolling surf just enough within earshot to loll you to sleep. The complex has a pool which is well heated, but I only dipped my toe in. The buffet breakfast was fine, with cereal, continental and cooked options all available. A great stay all around, and could have done with another couple of days.

Loved the proximity to the centre and the beach. We stayed in a twin room which was really spacious we had a fridge, microwave, small hob, kettle and coffee machine. There was a spacious balcony with great views. The added bonus of a pool with sun loungers was really nice. Not sure how hot the room would be in the summer months as there was no air conditioning, but you did have a stand-alone fan in the room. Breakfast was available, but we didn't purchase it.

Everything! Beautiful hotel, incredible rooms, stunning views of the lighthouse, beach and ocean. Facilities from the restaurant and bar to the spa and pool were superb. The team helped make it a memorable stay with how amazingly friendly and helpful they were plus the immaculate service they provide.

Beautiful hotel. Great location with shopping and restaurants within a short walk. The pool is really nice. Our room was large and lovely but we were disappointed that the towels and robes were threadbare. We had dinner one night in the hotel and it was very good. Breakfast was very disappointing. It took forever to get coffee. There were no plates and the buffet ran out of items that were not replaced. There seemed to be large meeting going so breakfast was very busy and chaotic. The people at the concierge desk were very nice and helpful.

We booked the suite, terrace for three nights. The location is fantastic, walking distance to restaurants/cafes/shops etc including the beach which can be seen from the balcony. The outlook is simply amazing. The balcony off our suite was really big. With 2 comfortable lounges and 2 lay down deck chairs, lots of cushions. The best place to take in the suns rays. The suite was super comfortable as well with lounge and TV. Separate bedroom with king bed, TV and a large bathroom and shower. The suite is well presented. Breakfast was beautiful every morning, staff are helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel. I would most definitely stay here again. 5 stars from me. Excellent!!!!

Spacious, well-decorated room with amazing terrace with bay view. You basically can spend all the time there, not even leaving the room. Hammam is a nice addition, especially for a rainy weather. Being not a traditional buffet with smaller variety, breakfast was freshly cooked and well-prepared, with granola and pan perdu as my favorites. It's the same variety to have breakfast in your room or restaurant. We've also ordered some stuff from the restaurant for dinned and food was very good. Stuff was very professional and helpful, able to find solutions for everything.

The hotel itself is nothing to call home about. There is no real “lobby” which we thought was odd. The elevator is right in the middle of the restaurant and bar, and there was no special access up to the hotel rooms, so didn’t feel overly secure. That being said, we were fine! From how noisy the bar was when we got in, we assumed noise would be a problem in our room, but we couldn’t hear anything. It was clean-ish. The beds were okay. The bathroom was fine. Absolutely spectacular views and ideal location make up for everything. Every room has an ocean view and large windows or a balcony to enjoy it. You are steps from an adorable path down to the beach, seconds away from shops and restaurants.

Lovely boutique hotel located directly above the "Grand Plage" on Bellvue Place. Fantastic views of the ocean, surfers, and beach. You do need to go down a number of steps to reach the beach itself. Central location close to dozens of restaurants and shoppes. An easy walk to the Virgin statue on the rocks, Aquarium, Casino Barriere and the former summer palace of Napoleon III and Empress Eugenie, now the Hotel du Palais. Longer trek to the lighthouse. A lovely waterfront bar area and restaurant in the hotel. Extremely accommodating staff. You do have to request ice from the bar. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to friends!

I just enjoyed four nights at this wonderful hotel and would recommend it to anyone and everyone! All of the staff are absolutely charming and extremely helpful and attentive and very good listeners. They have mastered their craft and this really made all the difference. Food, coffee, pastries, and breakfast Were thoughtfully prepared with the best ingredients. I especially liked the coffee. The bed, pillows, and linen I found luxurious! The room had everything I needed to be comfortable and the thermostat for heat was easy to figure out as well. They really make it so easy for you to enjoy yourself. The bathroom was very large and had everything I needed, including a hairdryer for me traveling solo. A bit of advice, if you find yourself eating a lot at breakfast and then again at lunch and don’t want to go out for dinner, I used Uber eats and it was extremely straightforward and easy. Nice to have an option. There is a wonderful restaurant just down the street. However, all the restaurants I tried in the neighborhood were both extremely delicious and well priced. The location of this hotel could not be better. It was just a short walk down to the ocean with many shops on the way which I did several times a day. I researched a lot of hotels before booking and I’m so glad that my instincts were correct.

Staff were exceptional-so welcoming and helpful to us. The location was amazing, central to the beaches and restaurants. Lovely outdoor terrace area and bar. The breakfast was so tasty-eggs made to order, fresh fruit, bread and granola.a cot was provided for my son and a highchair

Absolutely stunning oasis of calm amidst the sometimes frenetic pace of Biarritz. Rooms are luxurious and inedible well-appointed; common areas include a cumfy lounge with Baord games, beautiful outside space, terrace bar. At the bar (and resto) the wine list is shockingly extensive, non-alcoholic drinks options inspired. Breakfast is outstanding and features a plethora of local produce. All staff are friendly and welcoming. It’s off th chaos of the beach, but a short walk to the various restaurants and shopping area. Honestly, we wish we had more time here! An excellent spot that could not be more highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic hotel! Everything was perfect, room large, very high quality furnished, stylish decor. Staff very helpfull, very good breakfast, beach equipment was very comfortable too. On-site restaurant Anema was also perfect. Hotel is just around the corner from the streets full of restaurants and bars, both Biarritz beaches are just a couple of minutes walk. On-site parking (rare in Biarritz). Absolutely 100% score

Clean and beautiful hotel at the edge of the old town, quite place but the rooms are quite noisy. Lucky if you have the luck to stay with quite guests, if not 🤷🏽‍♀️ you‘ll hear that in the night or whenever… but I must say I’m very sensitive in this and not a good reference … very nice staff who rocks the kitchen in the evening with loud music to prepare the evening food session for the restaurant .. for us it was too expensive for what we get, but we really loved the warm and beautiful design the hotel has. And it’s very clean, I loved that. Between old and new. Breakfast was good and local what we appreciated a lot. No industrial food from I don’t know where. Super delicious croissant, home made chocolate spread and also vegan options (little but…) and enough of fresh fruits. We also get a coffee BEFORE the breakfast was open, what I appreciated a lot! We enjoyed surfing in these days and it’s an ideal spot not to far from the ocean. Free water to refill 👌🏻

The reception area, terrace, indoor sitting areas, the bar, the spa area and pool, location, beautiful interior decoration. The team were all fantastic: helpful and professional, friendly, kind. Thank you very much for making our stay memorable and perfect!

The hotel is slightly out of town, but close to St Charles which has a few shops and couple of good restaurants, staff very helpful especially the concierge who recommended the fab Le Bistro Gourmet. The atrium & bar is amazing and the rooms are very nicely done with lovely modern bathrooms with a fab walk in shower. The pool is quite small but there are plenty of sun beds, the fitness suite is extremely disappointing a dark & small room with air con water dripping onto the running machine, which was a concern & needs addressing as a H&S issue.

Hotel deserves its five star rating. Rooms are really attractive, location is right on the beach, staff are friendly and efficient. The sea water swimming pool is a real bonus. We loved drinks on the terrace at sunset.

Hospitality from the owner, Philippe and staff were first class! Consider it like a bed and breakfast, cozy and intimate! The breakfast is not to be missed. Fresh pastries, meats, cheeses, juices and a variety of breakfast items including delicious coffee and teas. Rivals any 5 star hotels’ breakfast! Parking is included.

A small family run hotel in the heart of the main pedestrian area. Received a warm welcome from Jennifer and Mattieu on arrival and they were very kind and helpful throughout our stay. Comfortable good sized room with a comfortable bed and decent bath/shower. Complimentary coffee/ teas in room with local savoury snack and chocs. Mini bar stocked with soft drinks and beer at a reasonable price. Breakfast of local Pay Basque produce delicious - noted crockery also local made - a nice touch. Lots of fab restaurants and shops on the doorstep . Dog friendly . A lovely stay.

This is such a lovely small hotel in the very centre of St Jean de Luz in a pedestrian street. It is very quiet and peaceful. I was greeted warmly on arrival by Jennifer who helped me with my luggage. I was given a lovely, comfortable room with a balcony looking over the main shopping street. Every detail had been thought about, including providing black tea on request for the English tea drinker! The bed was wonderfully comfortable and the bathroom was very well equipped with an excellent shower. Breakfast with local products was delicious and served in a lovely room looking over the hotel terrace. I would thoroughly recommend Les Almadies and its owners, Jennifer and Mathieu, for a great place to stay. I hope to visit again.

The host & hostess are warm, friendly and speak excellent English (and Spanish, French and probably a little Chinese!). Our room was excellently appointed, with several small, nice touches (eg., umbrellas, beverage refrigerator, comfy chairs). The location could not be any better, in the center of 'old town' St.John de Luz, minutes from the bus stop, minutes from the beach. Breakfast was fresh juices, freshly baked croissants/breads/rolls, yogurts (even Basque goat-milk yogurt), ffresh fruit & berries, local cheeses, jamon, eggs, coffee, teas...just wonderful. Beautiful breakfast room and a sunny patio where we brought our picnic lunch.

The hotel is really pretty and in the heart of the shopping and eating district. It was wonderful to just step out and be in a shop, bar or restaurant and only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The room was spotlessly clean and even had a little balcony to soak up the atmosphere. Jennifer is super friendly and really helpful, she mapped out a tour of the region for us which we followed, great to see Biarritz and surrounding villages. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we hope to be back soon!

The location above stores on the main pedestrian street was perfect to access everything in town. The room was very clean and comfortable. Owner Jennifer was so nice and helpful with how to do anything we needed. The breakfast room was cozy and comfortable.

We loved our stay! Only thing worth mentioning was that hotels.com said there was a pool which wasn’t true.

Perfect in many ways … location .. central to so much - amongst restaurants , including a Michelin starred restaurant right near the front gates ( La Saleya ) The hotel itself has great food too. Situated across from the famous food market Les Halles , you can stroll through there and pickup anything to nibble on … fresh fruit, baguettes, cheese,wine etc … there is a great coffee place inside also Lobita which does flat whites just like Australia ( land of great flat whites!) A supermarket is across the street also. The central location means you can walk everywhere -the beaches are perfect to swim at & there are many to choose from. The hotel itself is gorgeous, beautifully decorated with a gorgeous garden area where you can relax , it’s such a retreat and quiet spot to unwind.The staff are really friendly and helpful. It really is a beautiful place to stay and enjoy all that Biarritz has on offer.

A really beautiful hotel in the centre of Biarritz, just next to the food market and its surrounding restaurants but also less than 5 min walk from the beach front. Despite its central location it is increadly quiet (room soundproofing was amazing) and the back garden is very enjoyable. The room was very spacious and very stylishly decorated. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and breakfast was excellent. Parking at back of the hotel is added bonus in a city where parking is challenging. All in all, we had an amazing stay and adored this place.

Lovely hotel right in the centre of Biarritz. Really friendly helpful staff. While the standard room is a little small, if 2 people chose to unpack at the same moment it was very well equipped with a large bathroom, great shower and Dyson hairdryer. The hotel building is beautiful and well maintained. Rooms were very clean. Throughout our stay the stay were courteous, professional and friendly. The girl on check in particularly stood our with her welcoming smile and personality. First class. Would recommend and return next time in Biarritz

We were only in Biarritz for one night and stayed at Hotel Silhouette. Absolutely loved the hotel and wished our travel plans allowed us to stay longer. The hotel is in a fantastic central location just steps to the market, shops, bars and restaurants. Our room was spacious, stylish, and very clean with a charming patio. We didn’t have breakfast other than coffee but the spread looked great! The coffee was some of the best we had in France. Highly recommend!

We loved this nice little boutique hotel in the heart of the old town of St Jean de Luz. The location is excellent, a very short walk to the beachfront and to bars, restaurants, shops and sights in the old town. Our room was small, but comfortable and well appointed with a very comfortable big bed, desk, modern bathroom and two closets. Wifi and AC worked well, and it was nice to have an elevator for getting luggage in/out. The hotel also has a sitting room and honesty bar (we appreciated being able to use the wine glasses in the evening). It was very quiet, although we faced the front street (a small side street without much/any traffic). The hosts/sfaff were very nice and helpful – including providing us with a beach umbrella and beach towels to use. Breakfast was served out in the pretty little back garden area, with a choice of breads, cereals, fruit, and eggs if desired. We would definitely stay here again.

A very charming and quaint hotel. Very clean room, quite small but perfect for a couple. Tea and coffee making facilities and toiletries were a bonus. Location was perfect, a short walk to the town, to the beach and to the station. The continental breakfast was very tasty and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Welcoming facility one block from the beach. We had a room overlooking the back with charming rooftops. Quiet with church bells ringing but not too loud. Well laid out room. Comfy bed, nice pillows. Clean room. Staff was very welcoming and courteous. Small library in lobby area with lots of books on very interesting history, literature, architecture. We spent one evening there relaxing and reflecting on our visit. Breakfast was plentiful. Typical yogurt, breads, cheese, ham, jams, good sheep cheese! Soft boiled egg upon request. Lots of tourist brochures, and magazines, in several languages in lobby. I recommend a stay here for a warm comfortable welcome in this charming town.

The hotel is well located near the beach. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast.

Warm peaceful atmosphere. Could see the sea from our room. Good location to the beach, shops and restaurants. Good breakfast, nice little walled garden where you could have breakfast, weather permitting, which unfortunately was not an option while we were there. Staff very friendly from front of house to staff working behind the scenes, chambermaid etc.

I stayed with my daughter for four nights. The hotel is in an old Biarritz house, charming and well maintained, with a nice garden, central location and convenient to all amenities (restaurants, bars, supermarket, the market les Halles vicinisssimo) near the ocean. I booked a room with a terrace. The room was small for two people, but well organised, clean and quiet. The bathroom had a window and a wonderful shower. The terrace with sun loungers and chairs was very enjoyable. The manager and the staff were very friendly. They welcomed us with a bottle of champagne and sweets in the room, nespresso-compatible coffee machine, water. There is also a mini fridge in the room. The excellent and varied breakfast is served in a cosy room with a balcony, where you can stay if the weather permits. I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful, modern and appeared to be recently refurbished. Right in the centre of Biarritz, less than 10 mins walk from the beach or the shops or bars. Nice little courtyard garden at the entrance and a small outdoor terrace from the breakfast room. The breakfast was limited (if you want cooked full English it isn't for you) but it was very high quality. Freshly squeezed oranges, local cheese, delicious cake, yoghurt, muesli, salmon, fresh boiled eggs, baguette, croissants toast etc. plus tea and freshly ground coffee machine. Easy, cheap and frequent bus from hotel (2 mins walk) to airport. Extremely good value hotel that is clean and welcoming.

The hotel has so much flair and is modern and clean at the same time. Beautiful garden, cozy corners to sit in, a great breakfast and extremely friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is very central yet quiet, with a park in the immediate vicinity. An absolute recommendation!

Beds were comfortable, breakfasts totally delicious with many fresh, local products to pile on your plate. Great location - close to restaurants, shopping and the ocean. Plus bus from the airport and to Bayonne stops just a block away through the Jardin Publique. We especially loved eating out in the garden and enjoying the beautiful view from our room. And the little library was so sweet. Staff were friendly, welcoming and kind. Would come back in a heartbeat 💓

Beautiful period building, tastefully decorated. Handy location 200m from the market, restaurants, and bars. Friendly & helpful staff. Hotel very clean throughout. The room is comfortable and equipped with robes, slippers, tea & coffee facilities. Water and towels are replaced throughout the stay. Lovely garden/courtyard area for drinks and food. Would recommend this hotel in Biarritz!

The hotel was renovated during Covid lock downs. Everything has been updated. The rooms are very comfortable. The thalasso spa and pool area is great and the treatments were superb. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and now can deal with guests in various languages besides French. All around, it was an excellent stay in all respects. A particular thanks to all the wonderful staff at the hotel and bar and redtaurant!

Wonderful warm sea water pool and spa area that you can just step out onto the beach from. And easily access back to your room. Superb terasse restaurant with healthy excellent food. Perfect.

We had a wonderful stay beginning with a couples treatment- parenthèse beauté- which was very relaxing. Dinner was also wonderful- the chef made a special effort to accommodate me, as I am vegan. It y it s very rare to have a 3 course meal in France as a vegan and I really appreciated it! The room was really nice and the pool/spa area is probably one of the best I have visited! Can’t wait to come back!

We were impressed with the quality and comfort of this hotel, close to the motorway for a one night stay during an extended trip in France. The hotel was clean and the room was spacious and comfortable with modern features. The breakfast was fresh and delicious with plenty of selections. I think the croissant was one of the best I had during the month of our vacation! Also I was very pleased to see staff members cleaning and disinfecting tables between each guest. I appreciate the dedication to health and safety! Parking was plentiful and although outdoors, it was locked securely at night. Most importantly, they were dog friendly and had space to walk our dog too. Last but not least, even though it was in close proximity to the motorway it was very quiet and easy to sleep.

I was just passing through on the way to Portugal, but this was a great place to stay. Clean, modern, quite a strong eco-friendly vibe about the way they do things. I got a discount at the nearby steakhouse after great advice from the friendly lady at reception while checking in. Everyone spoke English and French, probably Spanish too. Great aircon, great shower, comfy beds, tasty breakfast buffet, secure parking. When I checked out, the gentleman at reception used his key to unlock a small water bottle from the vending machine and sold it to me at the counter, as I didn't have change. Great service.

Very clean and comfortable located very easily for a motorway stopover into Spain. Dog friendly and a very nice restaurant (with discount) two minutes walk away. Lovely shower and very quiet with safe parking. Close to the beach for dog walking.

Welcoming hotel with helpful receptionist. Spacious room modern decor. Very comfortable. Courtepeil steak restaurant 2 min walk. It was just a stopover for us so very convenient to autoroute. Nice walk to coastal path and beach.

The staff were absolutely amazing. The room was modern, clean and had everything we needed except a fridge. The staff kindly put our cooler packs into their freezer. We didn't have breakfast but coffee from the bar was excellent. It's a perfect location if you have a car but a bit isolated otherwise. It's just across the motorway from a huge hypermarket and a 10 minute drive into the middle of Sant Jean de Luz. I highly recommend the hotel

Beautiful hotel, very clean and great location, great value for money. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was perfect. Dogs are allowed which was perfect for us. Behind the hotel is a park near a river which is a very convenient place to walk the dogs. We had our own dog-poo bags but the park actually had a supply! There were a number of bars and restaurants next to the hotel that also allowed dogs. Also there is a really good burger bar nearby.

Very quiet room facing the old church. Excellent bistro restaurant. Helpful and welcoming staff. Rooms and facilities in very good conditions, decorated in a sober, but warm and elegant style.

Charming little hotel, nice individual rooms with comfortable beds. Internet works well and parking is no problem. We had a delicious dinner and the staff is very nice and welcoming. We definitely will come back 😀.

A reliably excellent stop over point when we are driving to or from Spain. The restaurant is exceptional. Simple, unpretentious but enormously tasty food based on local ingredients.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for the little train and plenty of walks. Parking is free with plenty of space. Breakfast is well worth it, plenty of choice, but no hot options. The hotel is quiet and close to bars and restaurants

I loved the look of the place and its central location in this small village. The staff I spoke to the most were very friendly and good fun. Interesting to watch the pelotte right outside the hotel. Several decent small restaurants close by- once you,d worked out the widely differing opening times! Nicely laid out room. Interesting associations with literary figures who visited the hotel. Very clean. Amazing church right next door .

Absolutely amazing authentic family run village hotel. Carolina, the lady from the breakfast room is so so welcoming! Breakfast was very tasty and plentiful. All the staff were very friendly.

There was a warm welcome at this family run hotel where we were given helpful advice on local attractions and restaurants. Our room had been recently renovated to a high standard and was well furnished. A friendly greeting welcomed us to the breakfast room each morning where the choice on offer was more than acceptable and set us up for the day.

From the moment we walked into the Hôtel Edouard until leaving three days later, we felt welcome and well cared for. The young woman who checked us in was very friendly and helpful, with great suggestions for parking and nearby restaurants and sites. Other staff members we talked with were equally friendly and professional. Our room was quiet, very clean and comfortable. We had room for our suitcases on a daybed and appreciated the coffeemaker, tea kettle and mini-fridge stocked with drinks and snacks. The common areas of the hotel included a living room, glassed-in porch and breakfast room which felt more like a lovely private home than the ground floor of a hotel. It was very easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go and there was a boulangerie and several nice restaurants just at the end of the block. We highly recommend the Hôtel Edouard VII!

We loved staying in this charming small hotel that is in a grand old house. Staff were helpful and friendly, rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The common areas such as the lounge, terrace and dining area are beautiful. Chilled water and wine is always available, and the hotel is well located for a stroll into central Biarritz or the beach, and has several good restaurants and a wine bar nearby. The breakfast at Thai hotel consists of very high quality products and drinks and is delightful

This place was so ridiculously charming it was almost unbearable (in such a good way!). We came on a spontaneous trip from Oregon to Biarritz, not really knowing anything about the city, to see a favorite musician, Melody Gardot, perform at a local venue. We knew we wanted a small, cozy place near the theatre, preferably walking distance, and this place fit the bill. What we didn't expect (the pictures of the property and amenities don't do it justice), was the unbearable charm of the of the property itself. Super clean, super French, super accommodating, super adorable, super service, heck, even the hotel breakfast was super! The bed was comfortable, the room was adorable, the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, the view from the balcony of a charming quaint streets of a French seaside village was idyllic, the location was perfect, just a few minutes walk from anywhere you want to go in town, from the beach to the theatre, to a plethora of restaraunts. Fell in love with Biarritz, will definitely be back, and will definitely try to book here again.

Hotel whilst not luxurious was very comfortable, clean and very pleasant; characterful too. The staff were very accommodating and the night staff extremely friendly and helpful. I had a second floor double bed room with shower - comfortable and clean. I took breakfast which was was very good. Location was great. Downside is lack of parking. Parking is very expensive in the town. First night parked at Indigo car park on Rue Marechal Foch €24 overnight. Second night of stay parked on roadside of Rue Pringle for free.

I had a wonderful stay at Edouard VII. The hotel is beautiful and cozy, equipped with everything you need. My room even had a small terrace. Everything was clean and decorated with this special loving touch that turns a good hotel to a great one. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is conveniently located near the old town with only a few min walk to Les Halles and an ample choice of bars, cafes and restaurants - and of course the beach.

Location is perfect, the views (ocean view) are one of the best ones on the coast, breakfast is very good. Loved the pool and the pool area, the water in the pool was heated which was very welcome given the constant weather changes in Biarritz. All in all we would love to be back mostly thanks to a fantastic team, esp the morning staff, and most of all Tatiana (might be the wrong name :) - very professional and friendly!

Absolutely lovely hotel - very comfortable and the staff are all very friendly. We often stay here but we’re disappointed with the swimming pool this time - each time we went for a swim the floor of the pool had been raised and was only knee deep - not great for someone who loves a swim. So we gave up and had to swim in the sea instead. Hopefully it will be back to normal when we return in September. Considering the standard and size of all the other pools in the hotels in Biarritz this one is poor.

We had a suite which had a lovely view of the sea and pool. The location is lovely, slightly out of town and we were able to walk along the sea front into town. The outdoor area for breakfast was very nice and the buffet style breakfast was very good. We did not eat in the restaurant. The pool area was really nice and the sun beds probably the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced. The spa and Hamman area were a great asset, my daughter had a massage which she said was excellent. I like the size of this hotel and would recommend it.

Recently renovated, stunning modern and sophisticated decor, room was beautiful and spacious, modern renovated bathroom, lovely pool, gorgeous lobby, friendly staff from front desk to the restaurant. Enjoyed a fabulous dinner on the terrace of the restaurant, a true gem, wish I had stayed more than one night.

During my stay at Regina Biarritz, I was impressed by how friendly and welcoming the staff were—they were determined to make sure we felt at home. The property is a perfect mix of historic charm and modern interior design, both luxurious and comfortable. The outdoor swimming pool area, with its comfortable lounge chairs and attentive service, was wonderful. Great experience overall!

All staff very friendly, very efficient and helpful, all needs were met. Rooms comfortable, quiet, a homely atmosphere with view of Basque houses and hills. Perfect location for beach, restaurants and shops a short walk away.

All is impeccable. Cozy hotel right in the city center. Very convenient location, clean room, friendly personnel. I enjoyed healthy breakfast with lots of different options including local delicacies. The city has great vibes and a nice beach, I would definitely visit it again and stay in the same hotel!

Amazing location close to cafes, bars, and restaurants. Simple accommodation but staff very friendly and accommodating. Clean and welcoming so can highly recommend.

Friendly, clean, and comfortable hotel in the centre of Bidart. Lovely views of the pretty Basque central square from the window. Range of places to eat and walks to beaches and viewpoints. St Jean, Biarritz and Bayonne all within easy driving distance, but we liked coming back to the quieter Bidart.

Very quaint hotel in a quaint town, we were traveling with our dog, there were no problems. Staff were friendly, parked in there parking lot which made us feel secure though there was parking areas opposite the hotel but I would imagine would get very busy. Lovely location, 5 mins walk to the beach, 1 minute walk to shops and restaurants. We visited the pizza restaurant just up from the hotel who were very accomadating with our dog. We stayed 1 night but wished we could of stayed longer!

This is situated on an apex of 3 streets in central Biarritz & is both very quiet & accessible for the beach, shops & several bus lines (the stop is Foch). There are several restaurants on Rue de Verdun. Breakfasts at the Alcyon are very good with eggs to be boiled to choice, juices & unlimited Nespresso coffee. The staff are friendly, informed, & helpful. Rooms with a balcony view are spacious, south-facing, & recommended. We cannot recommend this Hotel too highly.

Lovely Hotel. The location is amazing. the building itself has character and charm. such a refreshing change from a traditional cookie cutter hotel room. It was clean comfortable and romantic. Sylvie was AMAZING! so kind and helpful. She was warm, welcoming, gave us great tips and recommendations and truly helped make it an fabulous trip. BREAKFAST was unbelievable. Everything was so fresh, plentiful and delicious. We can't wait to go back. Thank you again 🥰

Brilliant find in Biarritz, great value for money. Perfect location on a quiet street and even though there was no one to greet us (we arrived about 5.30 pm after reception had closed) the check in process was super easy with the woman buzzing us in remotely. Everything was clean, the decor stylish, the bed comfy, the room was nice and bright - The bathroom was especially bright and spacious (and had a window!). We were surprised to find a fridge in the room and all the soaps and shower products smelt amazing - as did the rest of the hotel. We did not have breakfast but the dining room looked cool and chic and the spread looked good.

Hotel Alcyon in Biarritz was great! You can take the #9 bus from the train station to the hotel, only a couple blocks from the central bus station. It is well located, just a few blocks from the town center and the beach, yet quiet. The room was well appointed, we had a corner room with balcony-windows on three sides and a beautiful big bathroom. Breakfast was delicious with many choices. The owners were very attentive and charming. We highly recommend this hotel!
