The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Diana at the front desk was especially helpful during our stay. Breakfast was excellent. Good selection of hot and cold foods. Coffee maker with multiple choices of different coffees and a fresh squeezed orange juice maker. The beach was a short walk away down the hill and once there offered a nice hike up a hill to beautiful views. Four outdoor pools ( not heated) including an adult only pool and an Indoor heated pool in the spa was wonderful. Photos are views from our room.

The apartment was very spacious, with a nice pool view. The many pools (especially the one overlooking the ocean) were terrific. The grounds are beautiful -- lots of flowering bushes -- and it's a very very short walk to a beautiful beach. The front desk folk are very welcoming and helpful. Liked having bars/snacks right at the pools. You definitely feel like you are on vacation here. The restaurant was quite nice, and the resort is a quick 5 minute drive into town. Love that they supply beach towels!

We absolutely loved our holiday here. We had a roof top apartment 3 bedrooms. Wow, incredible views, rooms are beautiful and the furnishings are classy and well thought out. Hotel restaurant is 10/10. So many pools to chose from and indoor pool and spa area with hydro large pool. Beach 3 min walk, perfect soft sand. We got Ubers into Lagos lots of times and also used the bus by the beach. Ubers are around 4 euros. This hotel is 10/10. My teenagers absolutely felt like they were somewhere only rich people come. Very good price for our stay, we can not wait to return. The Argent family

We loved our 2 bedroom apartment. The beds were comfortable and all of the rooms had electronic rolladen shutters making the rooms completely dark for sleeping. The apartments had all of the basics we needed. We also loved the pool facilities. The hydro pool and sauna was a treat and real surprise. We enjoyed all of the different stations in the hydra pool for massage and relaxation. We did breakfast one day and found it to be very high quality and diverse. I would recommend it. Finally, the customer service at the front desk, spa and bar was amazing.

Great location with a short walk to the beach. Clean facilities, plenty of pools to choose from including the indoor pool and spa. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy parking with space in underground garages. Poolside food and service was great.

Very relaxing, loved the spa and infinity pool. Amazing breakfast, very healthy and lots to choose from. All fresh

Beautiful hotel throughout, loved everything about it. Lit candle with oils on arrival is a lovely touch, great balcony views. Free activities everyday were excellent. The infinity pool was absolutely amazing

Lovely rooftop infinity pool. Restaurant had a great choice of healthy meals. Good breakfast selection.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection was fantastic 10/10. It's a ten minute walk from Alvor town so good location. Lovely infinity pool on the roof along with sun loungers and outdoor seating for breakfast etc. Seems to be a centre for yoga and well being coaches but this is mixed with ordinary residents such as ourselves. The spa facilities which are inclusive are great; sauna, Turkish style steam room and therapy pools. If you want a relaxing spot in Alvor, this place is hard to beat.

Staff at every level were excellent ! Fantastic corner room 301A , great views and exceptionally comfortable. The spa facilities, loved the hot tub and the pool. The Infinity pool although a tad on the cold side was very refreshing. The consistent quality of the buffet food each evening was very impressive, the best that I have ever experienced, top marks to the Chef and all kitchen Team. All in all great value for Half Board .

We enjoyed everything. The breakfast buffet and dinner buffets were exceptionally good and varied, with vegetarian options. Pool, dining room and views were lovely. A quiet hotel. Gym, spa, sauna, indoor and outdoor pools. Across the river from the main city and not really within walking distance.

Good sized clean room. Lovely pool. Bar by pool. Plenty of sun loungers.

Nice modern hotel with good facilities. Views from the terrace are outstanding. Spacious, modern and very clean room, large comfortable beds, fridge. Clean and great bathroom. Nice eating area with seating indoors and outdoors. Beautiful outdoor pool (unfortunately could in the February) with great views of the river and sunsets. Big free parking. Good wifi. The quality of breakfast was good, although it could be more choices.

This hotel is perfect!!! We stayed there at Christmas period it was so nice the room so big and new, the inside pool and especially the jacuzzi was perfect and so relaxing. The restaurant was good with variety of foods and so tasty. we would like to stay there again sometime.

I loved this place. My favourite on my trip. Rosa and her team were excellent. Kept the place spotless. Infinity pool was nice..added extra. Very good location for supermarket and easy walk to centre of Lagos. Will be back! Sarah

The atmosphere was amazing, large green gardens and hammocks outside, a beautiful rooftop infinity pool and sunbathing area. The whole place was beautiful!

This guesthouse is well maintained, everything was clean and cozy. The area around the house was also very pleasant for spending time outside the room. Rooftop veranda and heated infinity pool with ocean view were amazing. I also liked that we had cleaning and fresh towels everyday. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Amazing place that went far beyond my expectations. The place is even better than the pictures. The room was really nice with a big window overlooking the garden. The bed is really comfortable, lots of pillows and the best mattress. The cleaning level was very high. The garden surrouding the villa is lovely with plants and chairs where to hang out. The common areas like the 2 rooftops were the best part, a view on the city of Lagos and Praia de Meio. The infinity pool was the gem, even though the temperature didn't allow me to take a swim, I still half bathed. Finally the breakfast was included and it had lots of delicious options. Thank you!

This is honestly one of the nicest places I've stayed in. And I've stayed in alot! Amazing location with stunning view of Lagos. Roof top Terrance and pool (pool is small). Really nice clean room with little terrace and ensuite. Amazing breakfast, unlimited coffee, food and where they will make you toasted sandwiches no extra cost if you ask! Really cool chill out area too with hammocks and seating area. Just 10 mins walk to the centre of town. Definitely coming here again Staff also amazing I could go on!!

The location was great and the amenities brilliant, the hammock, pool. It looked like a very friendly place unfortunately we were there for only one night so did not get a chance to talk to anybody else, but we did enjoy chilling by the pool.

Amazing staff! Very quick to respond. Easy check in. Amazing location - we walked to the city and beaches. Lots of parking near by. Pool on roof is amazing 10/10. Very clean room, bathrooms were clean. Lots of towels. Breakfast was amazing! Staff are so welcoming and wonderful. Highly recommend this guest house!

We loved everything, the pool was super cozy and with an amazing view. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The breakfast food is very good for a guesthouse. Our bedroom was very very clean, and we loved every second there, Thank you so much <3

First class accommodation, the apartments are spacious and clean. As is the pool and pool toilet facilities. Not the biggest pool in the world, but was more than sufficient for us and was never overly busy. Free safe in the room was a bonus, reception staff were friendly and helpful. We were offered the use of the luggage room on our departure to have a shower and freshen up with towels and toiletries provided all for free. This was my second stay and we will definitely be back.

Perfect location right in the town centre. Bars, restaurants and shops all within a minute walk. Beach roughly 500m away (7-10 min walk). Never an issue getting sun beds at the pool, no need to get up early to reserve them! Plenty of food options at the pool snack bar. Pint at the bar less than 4 euro. Rooms extremely clean. Spacious balcony. No issues with air conditioning. Beach roughly 500m away (7-10 min walk) Everything was excellent and will be back on our next stay in Alvor 😀

Spotlessly clean, high standard hotel standard apartments. Very spacious, comfortable beds. Great Central location. Amazing staff especially the lady who worked at the snack bar who my boys adored. Best chips in Alvor! Amazing pool much bigger and spacious than the pictures. Plenty of shade at the pool and beds always available.

Location was excellent so close to restaurants, shops, bars and taxi rank. Apartment was very clean and had everything you needed with a lovely balcony. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool was lovely and there were plenty of sun loungers everyday, you could also rent pool towels at reception.

Great location, rooms were clean and well serviced which was a nice surprise as I didn’t expect it. Lovely quiet pool area with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. Pool was cool 🥶 but I’m sure when the weather is very hot it’s nice for a dip. Snack bar had good choices. Staff were friendly and helpful

Nice hotel across from the Marina and right next to the bus stop which is perfect as that was our mode of transport to and from Lagos. Good facilities and access to rooftop pool. Unfortunately it was a bit too windy so didn't utilise the pool as much as had hoped. Comfortable beds, good air con and comfortably sized bathroom. Easy walking distance to the beach and access to many restaurants.

Beautiful view, great location, friendly staff. Room service did a great job too in freshening up the room daily. Small hotel. Loved the pool - felt like a private pool at times as it was quiet. Worth money for location and pay for the marina view, the sunrise was beautiful. Got a little nippy on the evening on that side but not much that can be done about the weather!

The Marina Rio Hotel is situated in a great spot in Lagos. What a welcoming, hard working staff. Be sure to pay extra for a Marina view, it’s worth it. The hotel feels bright, fresh, clean and friendly. Breakfast buffet is available between 8am to 10am…what a great choice of food available…even Tetley tea in a pot! Bedroom decorated in a good blend of colours. En suite was walk-in with detachable shower head. Roof top pool is small but cooling on a hot day. Great views from sun bed area with comfortable beds. All in all a great choice for a stay in Lagos.

Highly recommend this hotel as we loved the location of the hotel, away from the hussle & bussle but close enough to walk to it. Hotel was spotlessly clean. ALL staff were very friendly & helpful, nothing was a problem. Thank you. Breakfast was very good, all fresh & always plenty, even requested an early breakfast as we had to leave for train on our last day & everything was ready & waiting. Fantastic view overlooking marine & lovely roof top terrace & pool. Enjoyed the great balcony with chairs & tables to relax in. Room was cleaned every day with plenty of clean towels from housekeeping.

Staff were friendly and check in/out were a breeze. Our room was very clean and well equipped (it was handy to have a mini fridge, coffee maker, wine bottle opener, etc.). There were extra pillows and blankets on hand. It was nice to have a full size tub/shower. Location-wise everything was very convenient and walkable. Close to bus station and train station. We didn't have a view of the marina from our room but thought although it would've been nice, the view of the bus terminal didn't bother us. Rooftop pool is small but nice to have for a quick dip.

Our stay was wonderful! The hotel is located in a very quiet area, just a few minutes walk to the town of Ferragudo and to numerous beaches. The staff were all very nice and knowledgeable. The restaurant and pool area on the premises were top notch, too. The beaches were absolutely wonderful, and small towns are all so lovely and historic feeling, with lots of goods restaurants, bars, and shopping. We cannot wait to go back

Very clean and comfortable. Amazing pool area. Walkable to the town (15 mins). Would definitely go back.

Great surprise. Convenient to beaches. Great pool and snack bar and gym and Turkish bath

Gorgeous hotel Villa in Portugal, highly recommend this rental. Everything about our stay was excellent, very nice property with beautiful pool, fitness area and spa, on-site restaurant. Very nice, wish we had more time set aside to stay at this wonderful spot.

This place is excellent. Brand new beautiful rooms, restaurant, and pool.

January too cold for outdoor pool, yet very clean appearance. Indoor pool with sauna, steam room jacuzzi was great and 50% discounted entry.

The property was part of a beautifully maintained resort with spotless gardens and well-kept grounds, creating a peaceful atmosphere. It was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, whether for one night or longer. There were two restaurants, pools, and other amenities on-site, though we didn’t get a chance to try them. Just a note for coffee lovers: only enough coffee was provided for one morning, so it might be worth checking with the staff if you’d like more. The area was spotless, with a lovely view. Highly recommended!

Fantastic facilities, in beautiful surroundings. Exceptional townhouse, clean, with everything we needed, comfortable beds. The staff were brilliant and helpful. We were at a function that was held in the club house restaurant. The food was excellent with extremely polite and welcoming staff. Will definitely be back. Good value for money. From our living room balcony there was a locked gate with access to a large swimming pool

We loved it and extended for 2 more nights. Spotless clean, spacious, great breakfast buffet with fresh fruits, spa and pool are nice (paid extra), lovely area, close to town. Great service. WiFi worked mostly well.

The property is lovely and perfect for a family holiday. The restaurant was very good and all staff were friendly and helpful. Our two-story apartment was beautiful and clean and provided plenty of space for two couples with a lovely view overlooking the pool.

Exceptionally clean, spacious comfortable rooms, great pool bar and pool area and great breakfast. The guy who ran the pool bar deserves a special mention, his cocktail making was a real spectacle!

Nice variety of breakfast items, some options changed daily. Option is available for made to order eggs. Did not need to walk too far to go to the beach. Staff was very helpful and did have good recommendations for places to visit. Nice pool and bar. Hotel was quiet too. Room size was good and nice balcony to sit out on overlooking the pool. Could see beautiful sunsets as well. We were given a complimentary bottle of champagne for staying 4 nights and was offered a welcome drink as well. Nice touches.

Calm nice neighbourhood. So clean everywhere in the hotel, very nice breakfast, your choice of eggs served at the table each day, fresh fruit and smoothies, friendly service minded staff in all aspects. Our room with sea view at 3rd floor 👌🏻 Really nice poolarea and great bartender in the poolbar. Ca 5 min walk (stairs) to the beach. Close to walking trails.

Luxury stay, comfortable posh room, balcony with sea views, great pool and pool bar.

Big room with amazing view to the sea. All the staff is very friendly and pays attention to the guests needs. Breakfast has lots of options and the pool bar excellent drinks. Amin makes a day at the pool a bliss

Quiet location that allows easy access for Lagos, Porto de Mós, Luz. Very clean apartment, heated pool and garden area which is well maintained. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were all friendly, helpful & welcoming. Plenty of parking. The internet was super fast which was wonderful. Aircon was in the bedroom & main living room which is needed in Portugal. I loved the evening lighting around the pool & garden. We will be back.

The place itself is gorgeous. As you enter you see the pool, which is beautifully framed, and the place is very well maintained. The staff are friendly and professional, and you stay in a mini-apartment, with a kitchenette, fridge and stove, bathroom and either a balcony or direct access to the pool area. Breakfast is delicious and served in a beautiful glass-surrounded area. The whole experience is lovely.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We played tennis every morning and also enjoyed the pool area, which was lovely and quiet. The town was a little further away than expected, but we used ubers to get around. Our studio apartment was well equipped with lovely sea and pool views, beds very comfortable.

Big rooms, super friendly personal, we booked kayak trip and dolphin watching tour directly in the hotel after arrival. The pool is amazing, 1 meter to 2 meter deep gradually, nice sitting area around, a bar next to the pool. The room is big, windows from both sides so theres really nice breeze all the time:) The hotel is on a small hill , very quiet and private. Who doesnt have rented car should order Uber in advance to get there, from lagos center to here about 5 euro.

Really friendly staff, spotlessly clean apartment and pool area. We just stayed for 1 night on the way through, but will definitely come back and stay for longer. The pool was really warm, plenty of towels. Just lovely and highly recommended.

Great location, right next to the bus station and marina de lagos. Very nice rooftop pool with infinity pool and bar and a great view. Breakfast was delicious.

Lovely breakfast Infinity pool area peaceful with great views

This is a beautiful boutique hotel. The infinity pool was spectacular and the included breakfast was the best. We had an Portugal haveing stayed at various places.

Stayed here Sept 2025 for 2 nights. Room with no real view. Breaking it down: Location: right on the river/harbor, where the boats leave and at the edge of the fun tourist area. Excellent, and not too noisy. Room: We had an accessible room. Not recommended. Funky shower and toilet area with no privacy. So can't judge the non-accessible friendly rooms Staff-Not over the top and nothing negative to contribute. Just good overall. Pool area: See pics. Great infinity pool which we did not use. Outdoor bar area had very nice views.

EVERYTHING! The staff! The food! The STAFF! The rooftop infinity pool! The beds! The rooms! The location! The Laundry Service! Especially the STAFF!! From service at check-in to check-out, to the helpful people at their outstanding breakfast every day, the staff do not want to disappoint and provide excellent service! Book this hotel. Thank me later!

Very friendly lady who greeted us. We had a lovely room, with a garden view. Breakfast was nice with a choice to sit outside in the gardens overlooking the pool. We only stayed 1night, so didn´t really enjoy the pool & all their facilities on offer.

The room was very clean, spacious and just amazing. Had AC, balcony and comfy bed. The breakfast was veeery good, clean hallways to sit down too. The pool was great with nice benches to lay down also with umbrella for some shadow. They borrowed us a umbrella for the beach too with no cost. Staff was amazing, I think her name was Carla she was super helpful with everything gave us detailed information about history of lagos & best things to do. Definitely coming back

We loved a peaceful location and very relaxed atmosphere. Hotel consists of 3 buildings, our bedroom was in modern part of the hotel. Main building had more traditional look. Bedroom was very spacious, large and comfortable bed was made up and fresh towels provided every day. Large swimming pool and pretty garden were superb place to chill out. Staff friendly and very attentive , nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was very good , variety of different food to choose from. Surprised it is not rated as 4 star hotel . We would love to come back!

A very clean and friendly hotel, in a quiet area. The gardens are well kept and lovely. Nice pool . Breakfast was all you could want, very nice food. All the staff were helpful and kind. 20mins walk to the shops. 5 euro taxi drive to the lovely marina area, which has plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. Highly recommend

It was very clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was excellent and the pool Was very clean and spacious surroundings

The location was very close to the town centre and to the local spar. The pool area was well kept and pretty quiet so great for relaxing. We loved how our apartment was so close to the pool! The cleaners also knocked every day to keep the room clean which was a nice addition and the bathroom was quite modern and spacious.

Was exactly what we needed in the middle of our vacation, a nice relaxing spot with a pool! It is also walking distance to beaches, and some great restaurants (Restaurant Prato Cheio!) If you can, get the triple room, as that has poolside access. Kitchen had everything we needed to make a full dinner. Would definitely stay again! Muito obrigado Sollagos!

More than pleasant surprise at this propriety. Excellent location ,cozy , pool, kitchenette, clean and pool too!!!Close to beaches and town/night life. Super nice, helpful girl at the front desk Alexandra. Will recommend this propriety for sure.Go Portugal!

Very nice surprise, better than in photos. Studios are located on a walking distance from the old town, supermarkets, and beaches. The apartment was impeccably clean (and I can be fussy about cleanliness) with all the necessary facilities, comfortable bed and a big terrace with a pool view. The pool area and the garden are super nice. Owners are very kind and dedicated to this place. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

I had a really great stay here! The property had all the space and freedom of an apartment but had the staff and reception of a hotel. It was very clean and bigger than expected! it had nice touches like the electric fan, hairdryer, kitchen equipment and the washing line and furniture on the patio. The pool area was great and the pool a perfect temperature. The location was perfect too, around 10 minute walk into the centre of town. Spar supermarket with everything you need only 5 mins away. Thank you :)

Very good location to restaurants and ocean. Great neighbourhood. Grocery store within walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking available in the street. The apartment was large and we had a view of the pool and an amazing roof top terrace with a gorgeous view of the ocean. Two bathrooms, the one by the bedroom was big. Large bedroom and livingroom. Beautiful pool area, but we went in April and the pool was too cold for us to swim. Others were more brave and went in.

Such a refreshing, peaceful light space, with a usable kitchenette which was important to us. The little balcony (ground level) was towards the pool, so having been here off season, it was super quiet and idyllic to look past the pool to the sea. Probably less privacy in this specific room if there are lots of people by the pool. For us in early March, it was perfect!

Our room was so lovely! We had a terrace by the pool, and made friends as we were having our breakfast. The view was great...the pool, and beyond the gorgeous ocean! The staff was friendly and pretty knowledgeable. We loved the setup of the studio room, with kitchen, seating, and comfortable terrace. I'd go back in a minute.

A lovely apartment-hotel, in a great location! The staff are friendly, the apartments are very spacious, have stunning views over the pool, and the beds were very comfortable too. The pool is even bigger than the photos! It gets all day sunshine so a great place to lounge in the sun. It’s a short walk to the beach and the centre of the old town. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved everything, The uber dropped us at the door, we were greeted and checked in and shown to our room. Room was perfect, balcony onto the pool. Walk to the grocery shop 5 minutes' walk. Beach and town was easy and we walked everywhere. We had an amazing stay and will definitely be coming back. Room was cleaned daily, pool was exceptional. Best place we stayed on our whole holiday

Lovely hotel and room with great staff. Very clean hotel and room. Good amenities but could be improved by an iron in each room and there were some minor maintenance issues in the fridge being difficult to shut properly and the shower head wouldn't stay up high. Improvements could also be made at the bar / restaurant around the pool as they never felt very welcoming which meant we went to our friends' hotel instead to use their pool and pool bar / restaurant. Hotel is in a good location, close to the centre and the beach.

We stayed in a superior studio apartment which was spacious and modern with a lovely view. The hotel and grounds are so well kept and clean and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The pool area is really nice, plenty of sunbeds and areas to relax away from the pool. The location is great, halfway between the town and the beach. We will definitely stay here again.

The room and facilities were excellent. Indoor pool and thermal suite were a great plus point. A great selection at breakfast time and friendly staff. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the room was refreshed daily. Robes and towels are available at the pool. Cocktails are very tasty. Great views from our room of seafront and gardens. All round excellent hotel.

Breakfast only OK and location again OK. Apartments spacious and pool and pool side good size. Hotel very clean

Staff very friendly & Helpful. Room size great. Food at pool excellent. Pool lovely & plenty of chairs & umbrellas

Beautiful setting, close to cliffs and beaches, infinity pool

Absolutely beautiful property, on top of a cliff the views overlooking the water are unbelievable. Incredible walk to the lighthouse and cliff, great for sunset watching, morning strolls and pictures. The pool was refreshing and stunning, a perfect place to relax during the day. The food selection is great as well both in the restaurants, poolside and breakfast buffet. The staff is super friendly. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, beautiful balcony view.

Location, beautiful pool, Spa & heated outdoor pool & jacuzzi, helpful & friendly staff, boardwalk to town, great massage, local beach restaurants

Stayed for 2 nights as a solo female traveller. Service overall was impeccable. My room was spacious with a giant bed. I'm sensitive to noise and it was very quiet in my room. Food options are very tasty with lots of nutritious options. The breakfast was one of the best I've come across. The hotel gym was well equipped for a hotel gym. The outdoor pool at the spa is adult only for most of the day so that was very welcome as there are quite a few families and young children at the main pool during early June.

The location is amazing, 3 min walk from fantastic sandy beach. Very close to lovely old town of Logos. Friendly staff. Warm indoor swimming pool - great for kids, when the weather isn't hot enough for beach and outdoor pool. Great breakfast.

Nice quiet, peaceful beach, no souvenir shops, ja handy walk to lovely beach. I’m afraid the weather was too cool for us to use the pool, and we found the “happy hour” too much of a temptation to use the indoor pool !

Beautiful location and wonderful staff. Private. Beautiful and tidy landscaping. Large quiet pool area with brand new loungers. Nice little cafe and bar off the pool. Thank you to Edna and Christina at the front desk for your kindness.

Traditional style architecture apartment complex with a great location just above a broad beach on a stunning cliff. You could see signs of aging, but the apartments and the whole complex are well mentained and euipped. The most impressive is the whole ambience and landscaping-lots of greens, trees, flowers and generous outdoor spaces. The outdoor pools are large, with sunbeds and umbrellas and the indoor heated pool is a conveneince in colder and windier months. We had a great time here!

Excellent resort hotel with indoor/outdoor pools. Huge quiet, clean, comfortable well-designed/furnished family room with balconies, view of pool, and beach towels. Comfy beds. Safe area. Spectacular breakfast with a huge selection. Very friendly staff. Exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend.

The reception was good, we could enter about one hour before in our room. Meantime we had a snack in the bar, next to the pool. Very nice place. The bed was good, the bedsheets of very good quality. Towels big size. Pool towels had been offered. Really complete breakfast and the service has been great. Thanks.

I really enjoyed that I could walk right out of the room into the pool area. The pools were excellent and very peaceful. I also enjoyed the proximity to the praia do camillo. The breakfast was excellent with many options.

Very nice place to stay with different houses around the main house where they arranged rooms. Luxurious decorated room with small terrace. It is located in a living area but quiet. Very comfy beds. 3 swimming pools. Very friendly staff and helpful. Breakfast was amazing, lots of choices of different bread, eggs, juices, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, seeds, ...

Room was comfortable, really clean, and the shower, bed etc were great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are situated in separate villas, each with a pool in the garden, which means that the property doesn't have that big hotel feel. The restaurant serves fantastic food and excellent wines and is reasonably priced. Breakfast is amazing! The location of the property is good, with only a short walk to the coast or the town centre.

Great and beautiful hotel in oriental style for escaping from the cold in Europe in November. The hotel itself isn’t too big, therefore it’s perfect for a more intimate experience. Very clean, and the staff is amazing. Food, both breakfast and dinner were excellent and the selection was changing on a daily basis. The pianist at the breakfast and different music at dinner were a great add-on too, they played at just the right volume, perfect for the ambience! There is direct access to the beach from the pool.

Located just outside the main area and therefore away form the noise, this hotel is well appointed with comfortable and spacious rooms. A very good buffet breakfast and evening meal, with attentive and friendly staff. Beach fronted but a lovely grassed or poolside area if you wish not to venture to the beach. We found little to fault and would recommend.

Elegant Adults only Hotel with large rooms and super quiet gardens and pool areas overlooking the public beach, access to which is via private steps . The food is if a good standard although if you are not a fish lover, sometimes the other choices for evening meal are limited. The staff are friendly and helpful, with many working here for years. The view from the terrace at breakfast is priceless. We cannot wait to return.

Beautiful hotel right on the beach with design touches that distinguish it from Portimao's ugly 70s concrete-core. It's a sort of Wagamama for Oriental design - you could be in Marrakech or Istanbul. The room was spacious, the breakfast plentiful, and the staff were friendly and helpful, with one guy showing me where to park for free. We got a great view over the beach. The pool looked good, although it was a bit chilly to take a dip.

Lovely hotel located right on the cliff/beach in Portimao. Friendly staff, beautifully maintained property, large room with a balcony overlooking Praia da Rocha. Piano player at the morning breakfast, which was self serve and lots of variety. On site pool and cabana area; hotel private entrance downstairs to the beach was very nice. Very unique decor. How do you recommend and would return again. Rates in February were very low so value for location and amenities was high.

Virtually everything! The pool is fantastic and we had lots of fun in the pool. The cafe served very nice food and the staff were all great. Our pool view room was spacious and comfortable with a great balcony for enjoying the evening sunshine. The football pitch was the highlight for our 8 year old boy! Vitor’s Plaza is an excellent family hotel.

Perfect for families. Lots of amenities - pools, pool bar, supermarket, clothes washing facilities and gym on site. Rooms were very spacious and kitchenette/balcony were great as we had to spend a lot of time around the apartment when baby was napping. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. We had a great stay.

Pleasant stay. The room is a bit dated, but it was very large, clean and sufficient. The kitchen in the room could use a few more utensils, but it was fine for the two of us. The inside pool was nice, it was one of the reasons why I booked the hotel. The outside pool was a bit too cold for the end of October, but it looked very nice. all-in-all a very good stay.

Spacious apartment, family friendly, spotlessly clean, and well maintained. Friendly staff. Lovely indoor and outdoor pool. Apartment cleaned daily. Family fun activities during the day and some nights. Nice breakfast. Amazing cocktails. This was our 3rd time in vitors, travelling as a family of 7, 4 adults (parents and grandparents) and 3 children. We especially love all the daytime games with Ru! We have just returned home and are already planning our visit for next year.

The fact that was well ubicated, even though it was far from the Airport. It had a lot of stores and supermarket nearby. The cleanliness was as well quite good. The bar and its employees was perfect. Many options to eat and they are very helpful, plus drinks are delicious. The inside pool was amazing, the temperature perfect to relax, the maintenance everything.

The rooms were very spacious and the pool area calm . Indoor pool and gym area great too

Complimentary cookies in the room, amazing and spacious (super clean too) 110 sq. m. apartment, amazing staff (front desk, bar, breakfast), full vanity kit, amazingly staffed kitchen, splendid swimming pool and garden, great breakfast with champagne, fast Wi-Fi, late free check out, cool bar with great cocktails, nice local magazines and newspaper, fresh lemons in the garden

We were surprised with an amazing upgrade, from a booked hotel room we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom house with a terrace and garden, We were also give vouchers for wine and for discount on diners. We also had free use of health club with a gym, indoor pool, hot tub and sauna. Everything was really clean and smelling lovely. The staff was very kind and helpful and friendly.

Due to a facility issue, the restaurant was undergoing repair when we arrived so breakfast was served by the pool. There was some confusion between the reception area and the communication to the restaurant staff so too many people showed up at the same time. However, the woman managing the restaurant handled the issue with ease. She directed staff to bring more tables from the restaurant and arrange them around the area to accommodate all guests. Everyone was satisfied and it was seamless. Bravo to her and the entire staff!

Excellent food, spacious very clean room with excellent modern facilities. Very polite and friendly staff. Pool area excellent and excellent variety of drinks. We are looking forward to returning as soon as possible. I would recommend breakfast and half board great value.

A really good hotel in a perfect location. Rooms spacious, well equipped and small fridge. Massive bed . Everything you could want at breakfast and more. The only downside to the hotel is the pool area as it was quite small with only around 35 sunbeds and felt very enclosed, so no breeze at all . Also even though there was a small poolside bar , there was nowhere to sit out of the sun for a cooling drink. The favourite restaurant of our stay was ADRIS on the main street, lovely people and food fantastic.

Really nice hotel with great location just 5 minutes from the beach. Also has lots of restaurants, shops and bars within a short walk. Very spacious rooms which were clean. Nice staff too. Buffet breakfast was also good. Swimming pool area seems small for the size of hotel but it wasn’t very busy, I assume this is because it is so close to the beach.

The breakfast and the dinner buffet were delicious. The pool area was nice and relaxing the rooms were great spacious.

The rooms were great size and so clean. The breakfast was really good as we're the delicious cocktails served poolside. Also loved the location to beach, shops and restaurants.

Hotel by the beach. Lovely buffet breakfast. Nice swimming pool. Bus stop at the front and the side of the hotel. Big bed and big spaces in the room. Kettle, microwave and mini fridge(bar). 2 big screen TV in the room.

Staff were fantastic! And it was great they had different activities on for guests. Hotel is perfect for families and golfers alike, they have high chairs, kids pools (they have 2 large pools and 2 kids pools), the buffet breakfast is really good! Our room was a standard double and was huge, and really comfortable, fridges in the room was an added bonus.

The stuff was so helpful and friendly, location was a good short drive from the city center and close to all town and village. After all our tour and we come back relaxing at the pool. They have two big pool for us to go too. Excellent for gofter. Very beautiful view from the room and restaurant patio, especially starting your morning beautiful and fresh air. I would stay there again.

We stayed for 3 nights in July 2025 and everything was outstanding. The cleanliness was impeccable, the breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of choices, and the view over the golf courses was simply beautiful. The pool was spotless and the water was pleasantly warm, perfect for relaxing. The atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, which allowed us to truly unwind – even though we’re not golf players. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and high-quality stay. Would definitely return!

Staff - very friendly and helpful Room - clean, super large, with a great view of the gold course Breakfast - buffet with plenty to choose from. Very very good. Pool - so so nice, and tranquil. Truly relaxing. Location - great if you're looking for a quiet place, in nature. Would definitely return and recommend.

A good experience, price / quality good, very good breakfast, lots of choices, rooms were big and clean, the two golf courses were good and well maintained, long par three holes though, long clubs needed, pools rather big and fresh, staff friendly, something that is a bit odd is that there are some +/- ten unfinished buildings around the golf courses, heard that the financial crisis some 15 years ago put an end to this big project, its not really disturbing but it catches your eyes.

I loved the pool. It was massive. Like the biggest pool I’ve ever been in. I saw on Google earth the pool and thought it was an Olympic sized pool for some sports centre… turns out it was here! The site has been recently refurbished and part of the refurbishment must have included getting the swimming pool re-done for hotel purposes. It’s not deep but it is a big pool and despite the hotel being full, it never felt busy. Was a very quiet and relaxing area around the pool and it was always easy enough to get a free sun bed. Not many kids either.

Fantastic swimming pool. Clean pool towels available daily. Location was very central to the old town. Taxis cheap, generally between 5 and 8 Euro. Apartments were spacious, well maintained and clean. Fresh towels and cleaning every day bar Sunday. Very friendly and helpful receptionist staff. Poolside Bar - food very tasty.

Very well maintained hotel, with hotel rooms and apartments. The pool(3 of) consists of a full sized pool and two smaller children's pools. Staff are exceptional - helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Will be back.

We had a 4 night stay early June in a twin bed room overlooking the pool. View was great and the room immaculate too. Pool is enormous with plenty of beds available each day. Staff are really friendly and helpful, offering great advice on tours. Centre of Lagos is a 15/20min walk and nearest beach about 10mins away. Buffet breakfast has plenty of options and snack bar is available in the day with happy hour from 1-4pm. Highly recommend this hotel for optimum relaxation and chill

Big room, renovated and well-decorated - modern and really comfortable furniture. Huge swimming pool, bar with cocktails nearby the pool. Area around the place is clean, beautiful and very green.

apartment was lovely; spacious, two balconies and well equipped kitchen. fronting a quiet street. staff in the reception/restaurant/pool were friendly and helpful and the food that we sampled (eg lunchtime BLT with a beer or glass of wine) was just perfect. lovely pool.

The appartment was nice, very clean and very well equipped. It was a bit older than it looked on the photos, but still great. We had a 1st floor room and could sit on the balcony and have a view of the pool. The food at the poolside restaurant is amazing! Also the family feel of the whole complex is really nice. It's situated in walking distance (10-15 minutes) from the city center. If you have a car, this is an awesome homebase!

Loved everything very clean equipped apartment has everything. Beds very comfortable with nice linen and soft pillows. Pool was beautiful with plenty of seating and very clean. Nice drinks bar as well in pool area with very nice staff. I would definitely stay there again.

The staff was very friendly, the swimming pool was very nice! There were enough beds and the small pool for children was a real plus! The apartments were spacious and I did like the beds (they are a bit harder, but that’s perfect for me). The area around the apartments is quiet and a nice super market (with a great bakery) was very near.

A lovely, spacious apartment with everything that we could need. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The pool area didn’t ever feel crowded and had plenty of sunbeds. The pool Itself was a little on the chilly side for me but the children didn’t notice and had lots of fun splashing and swimming. The trampoline was a great addition for them too. The apartment itself is about a 15 minute walk from Lagos Old Town which was easily doable for us for mooching and eating out. It is also near to some exceptional beaches. It was a really lovely week away.

Spacious apartment clean with nice balcony over looking Pool. Good size pool area with plenty of space around

This is our second stay here. The apartments are spacious and clean and well equipped. The reception staff are polite and helpful. Nice pool. Great wee bar and cafe. The location is convenient- a short walk into the town’s bars and restaurants but far enough to be quiet at night. Only slight negative was the WiFi was painfully slow

This is an excellent place our room hah everything we needed spotless and clean daily maid came clean towels great amenities fridge air con all great ,comfy beds huge balcony facing the pool with sun on in a morning and delicious breakfast no sunbed hogging the hotel was fully booked but never seemed busy anywhere

The apartment was spacious, cosy and with a great view of the pool. Although it was winter time, we were able to keep the place warm thanks to the air conditioning. Amazing breakfast and location, very quiet and extremely friendly staff!

We loved this hotel. Quieter time of year and it was so peaceful and quiet. Beautiful lobby and bar area. Best rooms we have had with the biggest balcony. Snack bar during the day very reasonable.very close to Pingo Doce supermarket for all food and drink. Walking distance to town. Pool area is lovely and the loungers were comfy. Really well equipped kitchen. Only minor area for improvement was it didn't have many plugs or dressing table/mirror in the bedroom so was hard trying to style hair. We would definitely come back.

The location is absolutely fantastic. The property is beautiful and incredibly well maintained. Our apartment was squeaky clean and tastefully decorated. It was also very, very large. Our balcony overlooked the main two of the eight pools and the sea. The pools are super clean. We were there in October and the weather was still warm enough to swim in the pool and the sea. The reception desk is very helpful. The guests in the adjacent apartments were all very friendly.

Apartment was spotlessly clean with everything you could want provided. Gardens were beautiful and well maintained. Pools clean and within a few steps from our room. Large terrace with amazing sea view. Even pool towels were provided. Air con and room safe included at no charge. Spacious apartment probably the best we have stayed in.

Spacious apartments with everything you need - fully equipped kitchen and big bedrooms. The complex is very quiet and plenty of space at the pools - we had a pool to ourselves most days. Staff very helpful. The resort is lovely - lots of restaurants and all very family friendly. Would definitely return.

Location was great. A short stroll to the town centre and beach. Pool cute, bit run-down. Could do with a few more loungers as guests reserve with towels quite early so not always any available. Our view was nice. Overlooking the pool and could see the beach & sea. The apartment was lovely and spacious. Beds comfortable, plenty of storage and aircon very appreciated!

Our appartment was a 2 bed ground floor and was really big in size with a nice patio right on the pool. The pools were all based around a group of appartments and were well looked after. The resort is at a top of a hill but a nice walk down to the town and beach with everything you need a good selection of lovely restaurants Really enjoyed our stay.

The pool was great. Proximity to the marina, to supermarket, to the old town. Easy to drive to the beaches. Great little restaurant plus snack bar by the pool, as well as good loungers by the main bar. Receptionists were very helpful and gave advice re restaurants, beaches, farmers' markets, events in town etc. Enjoyed a speedboat trip to the seacaves. Lots of boat trips available. Great atmosphere in the marina area. Loved it. Would happily go back anytime. Great for families, with a shallow pool for the toddlers. Can book sub aqua lessons.

The location of Marina Club resort was perfect! Right on the marina with a balcony facing the water and boardwalk where we could sit and watch all the activity. The room was large! With a living room, kitchen area, separate bedroom and a bathroom. Everything was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. We didn’t use the pools but saw a lot of people enjoying them. They had a kiddy pool and a nice big swimming pool for adults. It looked very nice. Breakfast was included with our stay and was a great spread of different dishes. We would definitely stay there again!

The room was quite large with a dining area and full kitchen. Bedroom was big with a large closet, big programmable safe and comfy beds. Staff were friendly and answered any questions we had. Our balcony overlooked the pool and was a nice view! Pool is cold but very refreshing when it gets so hot in Lagos! Walk into town in about 15 - 20 minutes. Large grocery store (Pingo Doce) super close by. Decent happy hour near the pool too.

Spacious room and balcony that were cleaned everyday. Great location near supermarket, bars and restaurants and a short walk to the town. The staff were all very nice and attentive. Great pool area with plenty of sunbeds and a pool bar

Perfect location. Comfortable beds. Full kitchen in a room for 4. More shopping than expected. Great weather and pool area. No need to bring towels for by the pool. The hotel provides them for free. 24 hr. reception. Wonderful aircon. Very clean. Everyone friendly.

The location is excellent - just 15 minutes walk into the main streets of the town. There is a large supermarket just five minutes walk away which was useful with the self catering facilities. Marsol is well cared for and very clean. The staff are all friendly and helpful, in particular Ana The pool and pool area is lovely, but the weather in March was too cold to go in.

We were a group of four and had an amazing time at this apartment in Lagos. Ana was incredibly nice and super friendly – she made us feel welcome right from the start. The apartment was spotless, and the cleaning was absolutely perfect. The staff were all polite and helpful, always available if we had any questions. The pool was clean and well-maintained, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We all loved our time here and would definitely come back. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lagos!

This place is excellent, the location is perfect (so close to shops, bars and restaurants), has amazing facilities (pool & mini-golf, along with spacious and comfortable rooms) & the staff are kind and friendly. Definitely would recommend.

- Friendly, knowledgable staff. - Excellent location, 15 minutes walk from the centre/beaches. - The studios have a bathroom with shower, toilet and bidet, kitchen, comfy beds, fan to cool down and a portable heater to warm up. Anything you need. - The outdoor pool and surrounding area is great for sunbathing and relaxing. - Cool minigolf course available free of charge. - Daily room cleaning available. - Playground and some bars that you can workout on. - Great value for money.

Lovely peaceful place. Great to chill and recharge your batteries!Loved lounging by the pool with a book. There is a large section of books to borrow. Only a 10 minute walk to beach and centre with all the bars and restaurants. This is our 2nd time staying here. Its has a cozy feel All the staff are really lovely.from reception to the friendly cleaners. 😊

We visited as a family holiday 8 adults with 2 babies under 2years, lots of high chairs in all restaurants, staff very helpful with all requests. Adults pool was lovely for adult time, two other big pools plus a pool for little ones, with the only criticism more shade is needed there. Kids disco was well attended, but some of the evening entertainment was poor especially once the act had finished there was no atmosphere for any adults should they want a dance. Excepting dogs at the hotel, isn’t for us, especially being in the restaurants

We stayed 5 nights with our 2-year-old and had a great time! All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was very comfy and modern. There are lots of pools, and the baby pool with the castle and slides was amazing for our little one. The buffet had plenty of tasty food and the à la carte restaurants were excellent. Lots of fun activities for kids and families. We’d love to come back!

Very modern, stylish design property, rooms spotless clean very comfortable beds pillow, love the whole room design and lightings everything worked very well. Staff around the hotel worked really hard and were very polite . I like the way pool towels were given ( it was easy and accessible compare to other hotels ) Sport - tennis , padel football area and kids pool all very well maintained and easy to access ( on arrival don’t forget to book your tennis court in advance as it’s very busy ) Restaurants very nice and very good choice of salads and drinks , food and fresh quality food.

There was variety for breakfast but it was the same thing every day. There was plenty of fresh fruit. The staff was really great in all restaurants and bars. The pool area was great and there were plenty of sunbeds for those who got up early. There was also a nice kids pool that was less busy. The hotel has a private bridge and walkway to amazing beaches and restaurants. It takes about 10 mins. There is a train to the small town of Alvor.

The staff was very welcoming and attentive; the food was good and diverse; the rooms and facilities are well equipped and clean; enough pools for the amount of people + an adult-only pool; good WiFi connection; 5-10min walk to the beach or you can use the train (which drops you further away).

Excellent hotel, in an excellent location close to beautiful sandy beaches under the cliffs. We were very happy with our choice of hotel. The hotel is modern, with a pool for adults and a pool for children. It is in a quiet location with beautiful sea views. The room with balcony was modern with comfortable beds. The staff was very helpful. Excellent breakfast with a great choice of food for everyone. Free parking at the hotel or in the hotel garage is a plus.

Location is excellent - 10min or less to all amenities, restaurnts,, bars and beaches. Breakfst at hotel was lovely and staff suepr attentive and friendly Views are great from a specfic part of hotel/room Rooms are well done and modern - couldnt fault them Gym is well equipped and opens on to the 2nd pool (kids) Beach is wonderfully clean with plenty of restaurants/bars. I highly recommend Branquinho near Casa Da Rocha restaurant which is on top of the rocks from the beach. Choque Ao Mar - Restaurant isclose to hotel - lovel sunset views and food is OK.

Great location, about 2 minutes walk to the beach, about 5 mins to the bars and restaurants. Hotel was very clean, room was lovely really modern. Beach was stunning! Bar at the pool for drinks and snacks. Shop just around corner

It is right next to the seaside, and there is easy access to the beach. Our room had a literal sea view, and it has nice views for both sunrise and sunset. The room is clean and quite spacious, with air conditioning over hot weather. Did not use the pool facilities inside the hotel but it's a plus to have. Also did not use their breakfast and bar facilities but they look promising.

Fantastic location with amazing sea view, hotel was spotlessly clean, staff were so friendly. Pool area was so relaxing and peaceful. We will be definitely be back.

The staff at the Hotel Carvoeiro Plaza, were amazing, very happy to help and always with a smile, in reception, the restaurant, the 360 Bar, by the Pool, the Cleaners. The manager even drove us to the airport. The location of the hotel was perfect, very close to the beach, bars, restaurants everything was perfect for our stay. I would especially like to thank Catia, who arranged our stay and was the epitome of what a host should be. We will definitely be returning

It’s central right on the beach Very clean Serviced every day clean towels etc Staff lovely and friendly Breakfast buffet very good We had an early check out and we were given a breakfast box to take away Pool nice and quite , Close to a nice walking area to explore some of the caves

We decided to pick a smaller beach town and this hotel was the center of it! Rooftop lounge with amazing drinks and ice cream in lobby was the best!! Our balcony faced the waterfront. Good breakfast and the staff were nice. They gave us a list of recommended restaurants and turned out delicious. They also had parking in the back and perfect size pool. I would definitely come back here.

Great location for access to the beach and town. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Facilities were very comfortable and clean. Services - breakfast buffet and pool - were very nice.

Wonderful stay at a beautiful hotel. Rooms are very modern with extremely comfortable beds. Breakfast is excellent as is the location very close to the beach. Be aware that some pool view rooms are on the pool level and do do not have a balcony or a lot of privacy!

The breakfast buffet was amazing, the staff were delightful, the vistas were beautiful, the pool areas were large and easy to get a bed, nice activity options as well. It would take at least 45 minutes to walk to Lagos centre or a 7 minute car ride. I would say the carpets throughout need to be replaced as do the pool deck beds. Overall, a pleasant stay!

Amazing! I spent my engagement here and it was absolutely perfect especially if you get the suite with a pool! Highly highly recommended! Staff are amazing! Parking is very easy! I definitely will be coming back to relax and enjoy the private pool in my suite

Beautiful location right at the beach. Stunning views from our suite. Lovely cool pool and very chic finishes. The staff are extremely friendly and the resort was very clean. There's a shuttle bus to take you to and from Lagos (queue early to get a seat!) Nice selection of food albeit only one restaurant for dinner but the restaurant and snack bar for lunch.

Outstanding property, great location with 180 degree sea views. Comfortable good size rooms, high quality linens. Modern, very clean, good facilities (pools fitness room etc). Food is excellent (quality, choice and plentiful) both for breakfast and dinner. Best staff we have ever encountered - from the cleaners to servers, to front desk and entertainment staff, they all went out of their way to communicate, be helpful and make sure they could do everything to make your stay the best possible. Unreservedly recommend.

This hotel looks like a business resort. Lots of extras. Best swimming pool and view. Rooms have nice balcony. They offer a nice Italian Restaurant near the pool that is open for dinner. They had an indoor pool (in their Spa) that was a black bottom with water flows. Very relaxing environment. Big modern hotel room. Large shower. Easy 10 minute walk to town. Quiet.

Nice enough hotel. Great spa with steam room, sauna, indoor pool, spraying jets, outdoor pool, playgrounds. Large sprawling property. Indoor garage 3 euros. A bit beaucratic where you need to go to spa office to get and return your pool towels but all in all a nice resort. Need to drive out to get to restaurants, groceries, etc but all close enough.

The hotel is in an amazing condition, always clean, always smells nice. Perfect for families with kids , as there’s a small area only for kids, further from the big pool, with trampoline, slides and other games. Perfect for those who like sports as there’s a gym and lots of green space to have a morning jog. The outside area is maintained in a high standard and there’s a spa, too. The pool is clean and it’s huge, so never feels overcrowded. The beach is only a couple of minutes walk.

Great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Nice big pool with poolside bar. Lovely big buffet breakfast. Only 15 minutes walk into the marina. 10 minutes to the beach. Very clean and we'll kept. Highly recommend as a base for a golf holiday

This is an excellent hotel for a family holiday. We enjoyed a week lounging around by the huge pool, and always getting a lounger. The property is kept impressively clean in all areas and we liked the beach walk into town. We used the pool bar for lunch every day and the breakfast room was always clean and well-stocked, despite the large numbers of people.

Highly recommend.

Amazing hotel. Only about 20 rooms and they all have a wonderful view. The view overlooking the pool and golf course to the beach and ocean is spectacular. The pool was wonderful (bit chilly). They gave us a ride to the beach which is worth walking. Room was modern and big. Patricia at reception was very helpful and informative. Service overall was terrific. Definitely a place to stay. Close to lagos.

Beautiful small (20 bed) hotel, extremely peaceful setting. All rooms have sea views. Large room with massive bed, sofa area. Large terrace with sun loungers. Room spotlessly clean and very modern. Pleasant staff. Buffet breakfast. Uber into Lagos Town for some lovely restaurants and bars. If you're into golf, it's right on golf course. Recommend cocktails at the uber modern golf clubhouse, great views too. I haven't tried the outdoor salt water swimming pool, but it looks nice.

Beautiful property with amazing views. We received such a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Taking a golf buggy down to the beach was great fun and the beach itself was gorgeous. The breakfast was the perfect start to the day and especially after a swim in the pool or sea. We had a very relaxing stay.

Room spacious, clean, bed comfortable, nice view of ocean, pool was in great use in hot summer time. Staff very friendly. Nice shuttle ride to the beach by staff

The couple who runs this hotel is extremely nice and helpful. They gave us valuable advice about the town and the best places to visit nearby. The breakfast is amazing and freshly made. The room was big and very clean and the bed was confortable. The location was excelent, a nice and quiet neighborhood. It is within walking distance to the bus and train stations, wonderful beaches, shops and great restaurants. In short, an amazing hotel, would definetely recommend to anyone wanting to visit the amazing Algarve region!

It is very central but very quiet. You have everything in your periphery, the beach, the restaurants, the shop and the clubs. The room was surprisingly big and i got fresh towels and linens everyday.

Quaint little hotel, 10 minute walk to the beach. Clean & spacious rooms furnished with wood & AC, my room even had a bath! But most importantly, incredibly pleasant & helpful staff. Thank you very much. CJ

Lovely people running it. Good family vibe. Very helpful. Quiet and clean place right in the middle between center and beach, with some nice shops and cafes 100m away.

Great value for money budget hotel. Very friendly and helpful lady at the front desk. Just across road from bus stop if wanting to use public transport. This hotel was old-fashioned and dated but was spotlessly clean and had a comfortable bed, which was all I needed. 25 minutes walk into Praia de Rocha seafront.

This hotel was exceptional. The pool and hotel grounds were beautiful and well-kept. Our small kids loved the kiddie pool and the play structure. The food buffets were fantastic, good selection each day - lots of different cuisine to choose from. The all-inclusive drinks were also great, tasty and good selection! The activities and entertainment was also a lot of fun. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. My kids are still raving about it and we stayed there a month ago. Staff very polite very big room and balcony facing the pool just like photos big verity in the buffet great bus service to the beach great entertainment all day for children and adults and the pool area is big enough to move if you don't want to take part highly recommend this hotel

Great hotel. Comfortable beds with big fluffy pillows and room was large. Big balcony too. Food good and the pool was the biggest I have ever seen, cold at first but okay once in. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the staff very helpful and accommodating. Free bus service to beach but it would have been nice to serve town too. 4 euros for cab into town but it is walkable too. Not bad. Would definitely be back.

The staff were helpful. Restaurants were good. There was a lot of food choices. Bars were always well stocked. The room was basic but clean, beds were hard. Shower was really good. The only thing this hotel lacked was adult entertainment. If you are looking for a peaceful holiday this is the place. Pool and grounds are fantastic. It’s about 15/20 minute walk into the village which was really nice.

The location was the best feature of this hotel. The view of the water and a short walk to the beach made this an ideal place for our vacation. The rooftop restaurant and pool were the next best feature! The view from the restaurant for the daily breakfast buffet was amazing! And the dinner was delicious and a great menu to select from. The pool area had a great view as well and the water was refreshing and clean.

Hotel was lovely, great included breakfast and pool snack bar. Pool area was lovely but quite windy. Room was nice, but small and some areas a little dated (washroom mirror needed to be replaced). Located right next to the beach and lengthy boardwalk over the cliffs for an amazing location. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

The location near the beach. The pool area and the pool bar. The family room had plenty of space and a balcony.

Loved the pool, but wish it was heated A bar/lounge on site would be nice for the evenings Pool bar was great

The pool heated. The cleanliness. The terrace at the pool was good in the wind. so close to the beach.

Nicely designed property. Bright and modern. It has everything you need for a nice and relaxed stay. From the bedroom on the second floor of our property we had fantastic views and we could see the sea. The pool area was amazing! It was mostly quite and the temperature of the salt water pool was perfect. The staff was incredibly warm, welcoming, and, most importantly, very helpful in attending to any needs you may have during your stay. We would absolutely love to come back next year!

Holiday park with 24 houses and 10 appartments. Spacious, park is not packed with houses. Always enough beds around the swimming pool. Heated pool, wich is absolutely necessary in April and May. Nice atmosphere in the interior of the house. I loved the warm and hard shower!!!!! Very friendly manager, named Hugo!

The pool was amazing, great for the kids as the 4 steps into it and it wasn't super deep. The kids pool was a bit colder and thus they didn't really use it at all. Everything was clean and comfortable and we felt at home.

This is the cleanest hotel I’ve ever been at! Big villa, comfortable beds, wonderful heated pool, a lot of sun chairs, shaded areas around the pool…. Close to Benagil cave, close to 7 Gagnon valleys, close to really nice beaches, not too far from Albufeira… all the staff is SO friendly. It’s even nicer than in the pictures. Will most probably stay here again if I come back. You do ideally need a car for the Algarve though… this has a privé parking right in front of your villa and a secured gate to enter.

Loved the beauty of all the facilities...the townhouse, pool, neighborhood. Very quiet and unit was well stocked. Pool is beautiful.

Stunning hotel in a stunning location overlooking the beautiful beach.Rooms were lovely especially the ones with a sea view.Great buffet breakfast, and snack bar and pool bar by the pool during the day.Cashless hotel.pool was wonderful, plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas and towel station. Also small heated indoor pool, for children, plus gym and sauna.I used the hair salon and Maria was excellent 👍.We stayed as a family group for a wedding and it was fantastic, staff were excellent,so professional and friendly.just took 5 minutes by taxi to get to the center of the restaurants and bars.

Amazing and varied breakfast. Kind and dedicated staff. Well maintained hotel, keeping architectural features from the 60s. Confy room. Many esplanades, elevator for beach. Very decent indoor pool and spa. Nice swimming pool facing the beach.

-location -friendly helpfull staff with good english -breakfast (we always looked forward to the next breakfast) -facilities (pool in and outdoor, roomservice, outdoor pool service) -ambience

Amazing pool area, with sunbeds and sea view, quiet and relaxing. Super easy access to the beach via private lift or stairs. Even if the sea was too cold to swim, the beach was amazing, especially near sunset, and not crowded. Several nice beachside seafood restaurants. Local town with nice restaurants at 5 min drive. Room had a great sea view. Very clean.

We found this hotel to be first class in every way. The sea and beach views are fantastic, the pool area over looks the beach and there are steps leading down to give easy access to the beach. The Staff and team could not be more helpful, friendly and helpful. We only ate breakfast, and it was an excellent selection, with eggs, etc cooked at cooking station.

Breakfast exceeds expextations, there is everything you can think of, including healthy food. Balcon view was on the garden with birds and even a rabbit and a sea - perfect. Staff very friendly and willing to help. Room was spacious, we had a bath and a kitchen with all facilities to cook comfortably. Indoor pool is great for windy weather. You need a shower cap to use it, but staff can provide it. We enjoyed our stay fully, very beautiful place and perfect hotel!

Everything was absolutely wonderful! It was very pleasant and quiet hotel with a great outdoor area, that includes a pool. It is kids friendly and my daughter loved and enjoyed it there. The hotel rooms were nice and clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming towards us! Overly a fantastic place that I would fully recommend staying at!

The staff were so helpful and accommodating. Food was amazing and presented well. Pool is so beautiful and location is 5 minute walk to beach.

Really positive things: breakfast selection, swimming pool area, helpful staff, size of room, free parking. Hotel itself is nice and worth of 4 stars, just as seen in the pictures that it's not the newest building, but otherwise totally worth it. Location is close to the beach and the city of Portimao.

The staff was really helpful and friendly. The breakfast was really good. With a lot of options and nice food. The pool space was great and calm.

Location was exceptional right in the heart of Alvor just a 10 minute walk from the centre of Alvor with brilliant food and restaurants. The facilities again were exceptional the indoor pool and sauna was brilliant considering we went at a cold time of year however the gym and outdoor pool was lovely and clean. Beach access from the hotel which made it easy to access the beach

Excellent location right on the beach front. Plenty of things to do within the resort with beautiful surroundings. Perfect for relaxing or young families. We went with our 3 year old and had a great time. Mini golf, a gym, two outdoor pools, heated indoor pool and spa, kids club, beautiful garden areas.

Location is 5 minutes by taxi from Alvor centre or 20 minutes via the lovely boardwalk. Quiet location by the sea really adds to the property, slightly removed from the hustle and bustle. Simple hotel, does what it says on the tin and has a bit of everything - Breakfast great, gym simple but good, indoor pool with sauna, outdoor pool with plenty of deck chairs, small kids club also. Hotel was undergoing some routine maintenance as they prepare for summer and this was to be expected.

I loved the stunning views and the location, I loved that the hotel had an indoor pool, free crazy golf, and an outdoor play area, I thought the fact that towels for the pool for a few days were free and the safe in the room didnt require a deposit was also appreciated.

Breakfast is amazing. Lunch and Dinner also very nice. Room was very clean and great view. There is also a "almost private" beach with access from the pool area. Very friendly staff.

Fantastic facilities ..pool, pool entertainment , food wonderful and so fresh especially fish and fruit , salads. Also we have a 10 year old who loves soccer and with soccer pitch would play with his new friends. Great place for family vacation. Pool water though was very cold initially but beautiful when in for a few minutes.

Location was excellent - super close to the beach. Very spacious rooms. The pool was large and good and well. Food was available at all times (highlight for the afternoon Hot-Dogs by the pool)

Food very good at all times with a good variety of dishes available. Drinks perfect - good wine always available at all times of the day. Snack bar a bonus in the afternoons. As we were at the hotel in Late September there was never a rush for tables or sunbeds. Room was super - on 15th floor with fabulous views over the beach and out to sea. Very comfortable indeed. Pool area was super - plenty of sunbeds etc. The bar in the evening was very nice and the entertainment was pretty good. Staff very helpul at all times - at reception, in restaurants and at the bars.

Room is nice, and comfortable, vleaning everyday. It's just the toilet flush keeps on getting stuck, but they actioned right away when reported. We have a lovely balcony with seaview. Kids enjoy the pool. 5 min walk to a beautiful beach. Staff are friendly, they also assist in booking activities and tours. Food is very delicious, different everyday and lots of choices. Also, we dont need to rush to wake up early in the morning to eat breakfast, there is still breakfast even after 10am. And gym is open 24 hours 😊 Very relaxing holiday, highly recommended and will definitely come back 👍

We were very satisfied with everything. We really liked the pleasant, relaxing atmosphere of the hotel. Nice surroundings, palm trees, the pool, super bars, clean and comfortable rooms, plenty of delicious food, nice and attentive waiters in the restaurant.

Small but perfect hotel, lovely room overlooking the pool. Room and hotel meticulously kept clean, pool area too. Lovely food from the pool bar, recommend the tuna baguette, delicious ! Lovely breakfast choice and plenty of it. But best of all are all the staff, friendly, polite, professional and for us their help when we needed it was exceptional. Would love to return one day.

The hotel was very clean. Room was small but ideal. Lots of wardrobe space and spotless and serviced everyday. Pool area was nice and clean. Staff were very friendly. Lovely housekeeping team. The receptionist who checked us in was very nice & helpful. Also the man in the pool bar was very pleasant. Great that you could get a fresh pool towel each day with a small deposit at the start of the stay.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the town (5-10 mins) and a little further you have the beach (15-20 mins). The hotel was spotless, the staff welcoming and friendly. The room was great, with shutters so it keeps the sun out in the day to keep the room cool, and keeps it extra quiet at night, although there is little noise to begin with. There is A/C also. There was a kitchenette with fridge and a small hob. There is a pool with loungers and a pool bar. Breakfast has a good selection of continental and English breakfast choices. Lots of fruit!

A convenient location for walking into Alvor town. Plentiful breakfast, friendly and polite staff. Comfortable clean room. We had a balcony which we didn't really use as we hadn't appreciated that the road was so busy, but otherwise the room was excellent. We didn't use the pool as we walked down to the beach, but the pool looked great.

THIS HOTEL IS 5 MINS AWAY FROM THE CENTRAL AREA WHERE THERE ARE NUMEROUS BARS AND RESTAURANTS LOCATED DOWN A MYRIAD OF NARROW STREETS. THE HOTEL ROOM WAS EXCELLENT AND THE POOL AREA HAS PLENTY OF SUN BEDS AND A GREAT POOL SIDE BAR THAT SERVES LUNCHTIME SNACKS AS WELL AS BEERS AND COFFES ETC. BREAKFAST WAS ALSO EXCELLENT WITH A GREAT CHOICE OF HOT AND COLD ITEMS, NO COMPLAINTS. IT ALSO HAS FREE PARKING IF YOU'RE DRIVING.

Our bungalow was lovely with beautiful view over the sea. The setting is just amazing. Everywhere was so clean and gardens so well kept. We had our own cleaner - thank you Francesca. Pool area excellent. Bistro at pool was superb as regards food and drink. Another thanks to Nelson. All the staff were so friendly and helpful as regards booking restaurants, taxis etc.

We just returned from a 7 night stay at Alga Seco Parque and was really impressed. We stayed in one of the two bedroom bungalows. The sea views were amazing and there was plenty of space and the kitchen was well stocked. All the staff especially Bruno were very friendly and attentive. The Bistro served lovely food and the staff were very friendly also. The kids loved the pool. There was also a smaller heated pool, which was great. The Boardwalk was great for sunset walks to the town which was about ten minutes walk. We would definitely recommend this place and we will be back.

Lovely big apartment with beautiful view. The apartment, pool and the whole complex was excellently maintained and spotless. The food in the pool bar was top class. Staff were excellent.

Location was excellent to walking into town and the coastal boardwalk. Gorgeous view from the pool, one pool was heated which was awesome. Staff were great and friendly. Very clean, nice touches ie delivered Easter bread, well equipped kitchen Etc.

A really nice location, friendly staff and good food. The only reason it wasn’t excellent was non residents kept reserving tables at bar- bistro & kids had their own pool but were always using the main pool.

24 hour reception with friendly, professional staff. The apartments are spotless. The pool and pool area are clean and quiet. Nice chairs and sheltered areas to sit out in. Smaller pool for little kids also. Inside billard table. 4 floor building with lifts to each floor. Parking in basement accessed by lifts. The apartment had a fridge freezer, hob, toaster, kettle, washing machine and more. Well stocked. Easy to dry clothes on a provided rail on balcony. Cleaning service to apartment every second day.

The apartment was really nice with a beautiful view over the pool and the Marina. We had all we needed for the week. The indoor pool was perfect with the kids and since we are in low season we were lucky enough to have it for ourselves most mornings. Staff were always very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent. We visited many places around Portimao with max 1 hr distance. Value for money at this place at this time of the year was excellent!!!

A really beautiful hotel/apartment. Very clean and well equipped. A great size one bed apartment with plenty of living space. A really large sunny balcony with fab views of the Marina. Plenty of parking. The pool area was excellent, and the indoor spa pool a real treat.

The size of the rooms, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff were all brilliant. The location, slightly away from Praia da Rocha main strip was perfect, lovely and quiet. The grounds around the outdoor pool were well maintained and the indoor pool looked beautiful.

The pools are beautiful. The apartments have everything you need and spacious. The spa/interior pool staff is very friendly and helpful

Location right in the heart of the old town so excellent location for resturants and beach/marina. Staff were very helpful and friendly. WiFi very good, room had hairdryer, toiletries and TV.. Bed was comfortable and towels changed every day if needed. The kitchenette was great for putting food in the fridge and making a breakfast/cereal. Please note this is a budget hotel so don't expect luxury, however it is very convenient and I would stay again.

The receptionist gave helpful advice regarding parking ahead of time so we knew exactly where we were going. The room had a nice sea view. The room looked very refreshed and modern. The amenities worked well, the room was very comfortable, clean and fresh.

The most amazing stay! The location was so perfect. walk outside the front door and you are in the center of everything. Close to everything you could need including the beach! We are two young girls and we felt super safe in this stay. The workers were so helpful and our room was cleaned and restocked every day. I would recommend to anyone and I would definitely stay here again!!!

Location is perfect, right in the centre which is what suited me. The staff were friendly and helpful. Very accommodating. The room was spacious, clean, light and airy. An absolute bargain price too. I can 100% recommend this hotel. I will stay here again.

The location is great! I loved the little balcony could look out over the promenade/river and hear the sounds of the festivities. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, the electric shades darkened the room well. Staff welcoming. I had everything I needed. It was a very pleasant stay.

We had an amazing time at the hotel casino rooms are a bit dated but they were so clean and great views, we had a sea view. The staff were lovely from the time we checked in to the time we checked out, from reception, bar staff , pool and restaurant staff the maids were lovely and always friendly. The pool was amazing and had no problem getting a sun bed. Can't wait to go back next year x

The pool was quite big and had a kids pool separate which was handy. The breakfast was good and you can use the sun loungers on the beach for free in the hotels designated section. This was a massive bonus but all loungers would be gone by 9.30am. We had sun loungers on our balcony which was a bonus and not advertised but wasn't in every room like ours. The reason I'm giving it 8 is because of the free beds on the beach otherwise it would be a 7.

Location was fantastic, the facilities were really good. Nice pool and loungers by the pool. There were also loungers by the beach for the hotel which was great too. The staff were very kind and helpful.

Excellent location at the beach and in a nice area with restaurants, bars and shops. Super friendly and helpful staff at the reception and in the breakfast area. Good breakfast, nice pool with various terraces and sunbeds. Even when the hotel is a bit aged, the rooms are nice and clean with super beds, nice balcony and sea view.

Perfect position with amazing views. Everything a hotel needs, including fabulous breakfast, beautiful pool side area and great bar with balcony. The staff go the extra mile to make their guests welcome from the gentleman who took our cases to our room, the bar man that mixed me a beautiful cocktail based on my favourite ingredients to the gardeners who work hard everyday to ensure the grounds are pruned to perfection.

Great location….with direct views onto the beach and easy access to a multitude of bars and restaurants. Room was surprisingly well equipped and modern with nice bed, plenty of wardrobe space, fridge, tv, ac/heating, hair dryer, free WiFi and safe(with additional small cost). There was also a nice balcony with table and chairs. Room cleaned and beds made every day by smiling, friendly staff. Lifts were fast and several available. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful making the checking in experience nice and fast. Plenty of decent options at breakfast which was within the rate, and decent amount of tables available.

I travelled solo and booked a twin room with balcony. The room is spacious and clean. The cleaning ladies tidy up the room daily. The staff is very helpful and they try to acomodate every need of their guests. You can rent a beach towel - you just leave a 10 euros deposit. You can change the towel daily, and the money will be given to you when you return the towel (this was very helpful, since I didn't pack one haha). The breakfast is nice, you have plenty of options to choose from. The hotel is close to the beach and close to many great restaurants. I suggest you try the portugese steak at least once - it's delicious, couldn't stop ordering that.

I fell in love with this hotel and its staff. I felt so welcomed and taken care of. Everyone was so nice to me and trying to make my experience the best. Half board was very nice, including fish or seafood buffet every evening. Wine is also included in the dinner buffet. Lovely restaurant staff allowed me later to take the rest of my wine in a plastic cup to my balcony. I had the most beautiful single room with the view on the ocean. There is also panoramic elevator with great views. Location of this hotel is perfect, right in the middle of Praia da Rocha and near stunning beaches with cliffs. Highly recommended!

The hotel is super nice and cosey and very simple but breakfast and dinner was so good and the room view was amazing, I loved the location, the atmosphere in general, everyone was so nice there in reception and in the restaurant as well ,love and will be back again for sure, price eas perfect as well....

the location is excellent, right in front of a bus stop and 2 mins walking to the beach. room has balcony overlooking the beach. the staff are very helpful and room was very clean. the bed was comfortable.

Hotel is in nice, quiet neighborhood within walking distance from the centre. Room was big with a small kitchen corner with coffee machine etc if you stay longer time. Breakfast was good with many options and hotel bar was nice as well. Pool area was large enough, two pools, smaller for children and bigger for the adults. Bigger is not that deep... The staff is excellent and very helpful! Big thanks for them for the restaurant tips and arranging our boat trip, highly recommend. Hotel has a big parking and it's free of charge!

Fabulous hotel, clean and staff very friendly. Beautiful pool area and pool bar to just sit and drink your morning coffee or to have a few drinks at night time. We had a ground floor room and it was beautiful.

Superb huge room with balcony overlooking pool. Very clean and cleaned daily. New bathroom. Room and whole hotel very tastefully furnished. Excellent snacks and food at reasonably prices. Beautiful setting in the garden around the pool. Very quiet environment

The pool area. Quiet location. Lovely big shower. Pool snacks good.

From some previous reviews i was quite nervous about staying here. I needn't have worried! Pool and gardens were beautiful and clean. We had a wonderful stay here. Great food with great variety. Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Decor in hotel was a bit tired in places but this did not affect our holiday at all. Rooms cleaned every day, rooms spacious with wee kitchen area and great air conditioning! The hotel had a quirky, homely and welcoming vibe that we loved.
