The place is surrounded by nature, and it is called 'Garden' for a reason. Hundreds of beautiful plants all around this family hotel. Pool is nice. Great location, just a few minutes walking from Habarana Main Street where all the restaurants are, but secluded enough to be in complete calmness when at your room or in the pool. Habarana is the perfect place to stop for a couple of days and visit Sigiriya, Dambulla or the national parks. The family that run the hotel is so nice and attentive. They really care about their guests and are really helpful.

We loved our pool view room. The boys 13 and 14 loved the pool and loved how their bed was on a mezzanine above ours. The family owners were so helpful and gracious. Would definitely recommend this place.

This was our first accommodation on our Sri Lanka trip and oh my, they set the bar very high. Host family was so welcoming, they greeted us with fresh juice and cold towels. And from there on, it was only better. Our room was spacious, well equipped with comfortable bed, large bathroom and AC. Surrounding garden looks like paradise and the pool is a welcomed bonus. Delicious breakfast and breathtaking dinner, definitely try both if they are offered to you. You'll get a delicious, home cooked Sri Lankan meals you won't easily forget.

Dulshan and his family were fantastic, friendly hosts. They were very attentive and helpful. Traditional, fresh, tasty food was served every day. The facilities were great, showers were warm and the bed comfy. It was also a nice addition to have access to a pool. The area was well located to see the sites such as Sigiriya Rock. If you are staying at this hotel and need a driver for airport transfers or excursions - ask for Ranga. He was the most lovely driver we met during our stay in Sri Lanka, his prices were really reasonable, car well maintained and had great knowledge of the local area.

Breakfast is tasty and tasty. Rooms are very clean. Staff was very helpful convenient with our requirement with trip. Safari jeep arrangement on time. Pool was very clean. And night light system is lovely. Extraordinary service for the price.

Great hotel located in Kalametiya, right on the beach. There is an infinity pool on premises, since the waves are too big to allow for safe ocean swimming. The rooms are large and clean. AC works well. Laundry was done perfectly, and spa services are professional and recommended. Breakfast is simple but delicious. Staff is all smiles, welcoming and professional.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and was overall satisfied. The hotel is nicely decorated and clean, with huge rooms that provide plenty of space. Its location right by the sea is perfect, with a stunning beach, a great pool, and everything you need for a relaxing vacation. You can simply lounge by the beach or pool and order drinks straight to your sunbed. The hotel grounds are also well-maintained, and the food is excellent. For those interested, they offer free morning yoga sessions every day.

A quiet nice place to stay with an open view to the ocean. Enough place at the swimming pool. The ocean is to strong to swim at this time of the year but the swimming pool is fine. The hotel has a modern style with a cozy restaurant. Good food. The staf is friendly and the yoga-session was good.

Such a beautiful hotel to stay at the beach. We got an upgrade from a garden view room to a sea view room, which was absolutely amazing. We had a big balcony with very comfortable chairs to watch the waves on the beach. The room is very spacious, modern and clean. The staff was helpful, friendly, professionnal. The swimming pool is amazing! the best part probably is the beach, we were not there in high season, but it was litteraly the most beautiful beach and nobody there, you could enjoy walks by the beach with an amazing view. 100 % recommend this place.

We had three amazing nights in Agnus. The staff was amazing, so kind and helpful. The view over Galle is great and the infinity pool is beyond words. For sure we will come back to this place. We had English breakfast and it was the best!

Best views of Sri Lanka’s southern coast and rooftop infinity pool is nice, but a little small. Overall, if you’re looking for amazing sunset views and a quiet place to relax with friendly staff, then Agnus is the best choice in Galle/Unawatuna.

Excellent hotel with astonishing view with infinity pool. Hotel reception and staff is extremely welcoming and super nice. They made us feel this hotel is your 2nd home. The hotel has two amazing views. The front yard is a relaxing area all day. Hotel owner (Mr. Udaya) and his team were always available to help and make our stay unforgettable. They went beyond their job by inviting us visit Mr.Udaya farm and give us some plants and seeds for my mother. This place is good for relaxing and enjoying the green mountain view. It exceeded my expectations and will definitely be my hotel if I visit Candy again. Highly recommended for people after view, relaxation and generous hospitality.

We received a very warm welcome from the staff at the Elegant Hotel and were even given a room upgrade. The spacious rooms and the entire complex are extremely clean and the pool is a great highlight in the warm temperatures. The terrace by the pool offers a unique view of the landscape. We were provided with yoga mats in the morning - a perfect start to the day. The whole team is very polite, customer-oriented and courteous! We had a wonderful stay and can highly recommend the hotel - away from the hustle and bustle of Kandy.

The entire place is amazing. Located in a beautiful place, on a hill that is overlooking the wild jungle of Kandy. The staff was so kind and nice, I want to note especially Roshan who was always responsive to all our wishes. The rooms are great and the pool is gorgeous, with the best scenery of the jungle and the well kept lawns. You should come and spend a relaxing day by the quiet pool and enjoy the beautiful view.

As we arrived we were greeted by a very warm and friendly, well dressed waiter that brought us a cinnamon tea. This set the tone for the rest of our time there, the waiter was exceptionally helpful. We were even offered a free upgrade on our room. The pool and the pool view was stunning.

The property was the most luxurious hotel we stayed in all of Sri Lanka! And we had some of the best food at the hotel, and also had quite a variety of cuisines to choose from various restaurants. The interior designs of the building was spectacular. The gym was spacious and we really loved the infinity pool. The live music and evening tea at Ahasa was one of the highlights of our stay. And most importantly, we met some of the most friendly staff at the property.

We had a truly memorable stay at ITC Ratnadipa. The hospitality was exceptional—staff were welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to make the experience special. The rooms were modern, with one of the best views in Sri Lanka. We loved the breakfast buffet and the relaxing pool. Highly recommended!

Amazing property and especially loved the decor and the architecture. I was attending a dinner there and stayed overnight as well. the bar, the buffet and the rooftop bar. Everything is top notch. The bathroom deserves a special mention too - so so comfortable. Due to time constraints, I was not able to use the pool but definitely next time. ...and last of all - THE BED. What an absolutely, amazingly comfortable bed it was. One of the best I have ever slept it.

We had a great deal for our stay, and had a room upgrade (triple room with balcony), but the hotel was amazing, especially being the last on our trip. Especially compared with the other types of places we stayed on the trip (smaller hotels, homestays), this was such a comfortable and beautiful room! Clean, AC, good Wi-Fi, amazing “outdoor” bathroom, relaxing pool, and good location next to the beach. I can’t comment on the regular breakfast, but we were leaving for the airport at 05:30 and the staff prepared us an early breakfast, we felt welcomed and well taken care of.

The room design/layout, the bathroom/outdoor shower, the balcony view of the garden, the well kept garden, the pool, the delicious breakfast (specially the hoppers and the fish curry!), the friendly/helpful staff, and the location (few meters away from the beach, the bites snack cafe and shops/restaurants). And wildlife (birds, and even monkeys!) Loved it!!!

Aurora is one of those places that exceeds your expectations! Very spacious and beautiful rooms, nice pool, gorgeous garden, delicious breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff. It is just off the main road and therefore very quiet, however the beach is a 3 minute walk and a few more minutes to the street with all the restaurants and shops.

First of all, in reality AURORA is much more beautiful than on the pictures! Rooms are very spacious and cozy, bathrooms on the floor amazing, balconies with the view on the green plants - just wow! AC perfectly working. Hot water with great pressure. Breakfasts were tasty, with fruits, toasts, fried eggs, fresh juice. Swimming pool - really nice. And of course AURORA Team - so nice, helpful and always smiling :) Our little son Theo loved them so much!

Zion View is in a fabulous location with sweeping views through the Ella Gap from our room, the infinity pool and the restaurant. The room was spotless and a decent size. The restaurant offered a very good buffet breakfast and we also enjoyed the dinner. As with nearly every place we visited, the staff were most friendly. The hotel is one of the more expensive in Ella, but for what you get, it is good value. If you are unfit, you may find access to the hotel quite demanding, but you can always take a tuk-tuk.

The view is absolutely fabulous of Ella Rock and mountains in the distance. Although the rooms are not huge, each has its own terrace with chairs and a hammock, in addition to fridge and drying facilities. Breakfast was excellent and generous. The infinity pool was superb and again with amazing view. The young woman (Christina) providing yoga and private meditation classes onsite was excellent. Hotel staff very helpful and prompt in providing services, information and advice on places to visit. The hotel is very close to town but also quietly distant from it.

Friendly staff, great vibe, only a 5 min walk to the town with bars and restaurants. Lovely and quiet, a great nights sleep. Really comfortable beds with private balcony. Lovely pool with fluffy pool towels. The best breakfast we had in 3 weeks in sri lanka, simple, western and sri lankan with comfort food like pancakes or eggs on toast, amazing!! The yoga and massage were great too. To top it all, you could pay by card and add a tip which goes to the staff, much easier than constantly tipping for every service!

Incredible stay! Couldn’t fault it! Lovely big room with a huge very comfortable mattress and mosquito net. Good en suite with hot shower. Infinity pool was amazing! Very peaceful and quiet with the most beautiful view of Sigiriya rock over rice paddies. Staff were lovely and went above and beyond to help us. Breakfast included was delicious (omelette, fresh fruit, toast and a Sri Lankan dish that changed daily). Walking distance to lots of different restaurants too.

Everything about this place is just perfect! Great location - close to all the main attractions and café/shops in Sigiriya, but in a quiet and super green area. Comfortable and spacious rooms, caring staff, and delicious breakfast. The amazing infinity pool overlooking Lion’s Rock is the cherry on top and worth every penny!

Lankapura Heritage in Sigiriya is a true gem that left us speechless. The view of Sigiriya Rock from this place is simply breathtaking, and the infinity pool adds a touch of luxury to the entire experience. Every room at Lankapura Heritage has a beautiful view out across the infinity pool to Lion Rock, that is amazing! It’s a great location full stop as only a short walk to the entrance to the rock from here along a road with many restaurants and funky bars. Mr Chandy at the corner store, to the left, as you come out from the lane - is super friendly, and arranged a brilliant elephant tour plus a tuk tuk to Drambulla, at a great price!

Great stay at this hotel in Colombo. Front desk staff Hansika and Purnima were especially helpful. Pool was nice and infinity pool. Room was very clean. The AC was cold (maybe almost too cold) but I was able to turn it off when needed. One issue that should be addressed is the smell of the drain near the bidet - was in room 1905. I did not use the bidet but that drain makes the bathroom smell like sour water. I didn’t complain to staff at front desk as I knew there wasn’t likely much they could do about this, however building management should look into this.

Really clean, the rooms were specious with a great view and high ceilings. Our room attendant Shalika did a great job and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great with an egg station and good range of dishes. Genius members get 10% off food and beverages which was great. The location was within a walk or tuk tuk ride to the main attractions.

The front desk staff were extremely nice and helpful. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was pretty nice with all modern facilities and a nice view. The hotel has a few restaurants inside and the prices are quite reasonable. There's also a tiny infinity pool on the terrace.

I like everything there. Great hospitality, amazing views at roof top,infinity pool, healing cafe, morning buffet with the view, the refreshing smell.

We were upgraded to the Deluxe room by Menura at reception. The rooms had a brilliant sea-view and were perfect for relaxing. The rooftop bar and the infinity pool are a sight to behold especially during the sunset. Overall a great hotel with a great view and brilliant staff. Thank you Team MaRadha!

This was a lovely hotel. Clean modern and we loved the rooftop bar/pool. Breakfast was very nice and we loved looking out at the ocean through the window. The view from the pool was amazing and we really enjoyed the bar food and drinks.

This was a really great little property stayed two nights great location for the rock and views. Close to restaurants and the rooms were clean and fresh. Staff were helpful and attentive. The pool area is small but has great spaces for hanging out and relaxing. Kids loved swimming in the pool. Breakfast was exceptional.

Good location. For chill and relax the perfect place. The room (house) exceeded our expectations. Everything clean, hot water, confortable bed. The swimming pool sorrounding by nature, pool bar, tasty cocktails, was great. Good food for dinner and breakfast. The staff was very kind and helpfull with information.

This is a quiet little oasis with lovely cabins and a nice pool and outdoor bar. It is comfortable, clean and relatively close to some restaurants, although the pool bar does a limited range of food. Owner is very helpful and they are expanding the business with more accommodation.

We had a lovely greeting from the staff. Dilantha showed us around and our rooms, which were cosy and clean, like pods with your own bathroom. The pool area and grounds were kept clean and were so relaxing. It is located a short walk from restaurants. It's not advisable to walk on the main road in the dark. Use a tuktuk. Lion rock is in walking distance, although Dilantha drove us there. So, really good location, pool area very good, rooms really nice. Would recommend.

During our stay at Hotel Coastline Mirissa we were completely immersed in luxury and tranquility. This beautiful hotel combines a modern style with the natural beauty of the Sri Lankan coast. From the moment we arrived we felt more than welcome thanks to the friendly and attentive staff. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated and offer breathtaking views of the ocean. Waking up to the sound of the waves and a sunrise that colours the sky red and gold was truly magical. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spotlessly clean. The infinity pool is an absolute must-see. Here you can relax with a cocktail in hand while looking out over the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. In addition, the restaurant serves delicious dishes ranging from fresh seafood to local specialities that are carefully prepared. Breakfast is a feast in itself, with a wide selection of fresh fruit, juices and hot dishes. The location is perfect: within walking distance of Mirissa beach and close to various attractions, such as whale watching excursions and beautiful viewpoints. The hotel also offers assistance in planning activities, which made our stay extra special. Hotel Coastline Mirissa is a place where you can not only relax, but also experience the hospitality and beauty of Sri Lanka. We definitely recommend this hotel and hope to come back soon!

Amazing hotel, great stay and fantastic staff! We loved staying here. The jungle pool and rooftop pool is lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. We also met one of the Dutch owners, he was so nice! The location is really good, near the main street where most of the restaurants and souvenir stores. The views from the rooftop pool / restaurant is stunning!

Great new hotel, up on a hill with stunning views...roof top pool and bar. Another jungle pool below. Very spacious, comfortable family room with the best view! Amazing staff, the manager Chaminder, the restaurant manager Anthony, all the restaurant staff, the lovely guys that cleaned the room and operated the lift. Really enjoyed the stay at Golden Crown. Food was very good and the buffet has everthing. Desert table vert nice. Hospitality and service was exellent. Infinity pool with pool bar was very nice and relaxing. Sun beds was exellent. Nice and large rooms with nice balcony.

This is a luxury hotel compared with other hotels in the region. Rooms and facilities are clean. Breakfast and dinner have good variety and are delicious. The infinity pool is great. The important aspect of this hotel is the staff; they are all helpful and nice.

From the moment we arrived, our experience at this hotel was outstanding. Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations – from the luxurious accommodations to the warm, attentive service. We stayed in one of the family tents, and it was absolutely perfect. Thoughtfully designed, it had everything we could possibly need – comfortable beds, air conditioning, and a beautiful interior that made it feel like a boutique retreat rather than a tent. The private bathroom was a highlight in itself, complete with a spacious rain shower that added a touch of spa-like luxury to our days. The pool area with infinity pool was clean and perfect for both relaxation and family fun. It became one of our favorite spots. But what truly sets this place apart is the staff. Every single person we encountered made sure we felt welcome and cared for. As a family with young children, we also really appreciated the entertainment space near the restaurant. It was a great way for the kids to have fun while we enjoyed a peaceful meal. This hotel is a true gem. If you’re looking for a stay where comfort, service, and atmosphere are perfectly combined, look no further. We will absolutely be coming back!

A very nice hotel. Everything was perfect, the rooms, the pool, the beach! We visited Sri-Lanka for the first time and were a bit nervous about this trip, but it turned out to be a very relaxing trip. The hotel management was very attentive, the service was excellent, the rooms and the pool were clean. The restaurant had a good choice of local and western cousine, a bit pricey though :). The reception staff was very friendly and arranged all the trips for us, so we didn't have to worry about that.

The art work is amazing , being surrounded by beautiful things is incredible The pool tiles glisten like tiny diamonds under the water . I swim regularly and this pool is worthy of an award, it is just incredible and you can use it at a time to suit you. I mentioned I like an early morning swim and they moved the cleaning time to fit my routine , without a blink of an eye, amazing . Swim , coffee, book - perfect start to another day in paradise !

Perfect accommodation, so clean and new. Spacious room, really nice furniture and deco. The bathroom is like a Spa, stones on the ground, shower, a huge bathtub, two sinks. Breakfast is amazing, good quantity, variety of fruit, smoothie, coffee.. So quiet surroundings. The pool is amazing, perfectly clean water. All the hotel has been done with a lot of love.

The airport transfer was organised and easy. The gentleman picking us up was friendly and very helpful. The hotel was clean and had a beautiful vibe. The pool right outside the courtyard door was tranquil and beautiful, especially very early in the morning. A bath gave some relaxation after long flights. The breakfast was lovely and the staff service was amazing. The people in the beautiful, quaint hotel went out of their way to ensure we were well catered for. This was the perfect stay for a late night arrival. We didn’t venture to see the surrounds due to morning travel the Galle.

Superb boutique hotel, brand new, beautifully designed, only 6 rooms, very spacious and comfortable-mattress and pillows superb, bathroom like from a spa, great water pressure. Terrace opening to the pool very beautiful. Quiet location, away from the main road and less than 10 min drive to the airport. Menu small but what we had was all of very good quality. Didn't have breakfast as had to leave 6:30 for the airport, although the chef offered to make me one if I wanted to. Complimentary Airport drop off at any time a great bonus. Amazing value for money, would definitely stay again.

The garden, pool and the close beach was so perfect!! The staff was super friendly. We had an early arrival, but the staff already prepared our room at 6 AM. The garden with the pool was super relaxing, it was like we are full alone there. Quiet, nice place far from the crowdy Negombo!

I enjoyed the quiet. Only the breeze in the palm trees and the crash of the waves. The pool and garden around it are very nice. Pool is very clean I enjoyed seeing the local fishermen on the beach in the mornings

We loved the pool here, it was the cleanest pool I have ever seen! The staff were fantastic so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and great value for money, definitely recommend eating dinner here! The location was great and close to all tourist attractions.

We had a wonderful time at Isanka Lion Lodge. The rooms are spacious, clean and our balcony was lovely as well. The pool has a good size and is well maintained. We really enjoyed the hospitality of Anil, who was extremely helpful in providing tips for trips in the area. He had a tuk tuk and offered to drive us to places which enabled a very smooth stay for us. The breakfast is delicious and they prepare an amazing Sri Lankan dinner. Highly recommend this place!

Anathaya Beach hotel has a perfect infinity pool and see view from the rooms. All staff members are very friendly, helpful and kind. The cuisine is delicious especially see food and special of the day - fresh fish, jumbo prawns, etc. Hotel is close to Rekawa Beach where you can see turtules.

This place is all about relaxing where the staff are helpful and provide first rate service. Our first floor room was spacious, spotlessly clean and had really good air-con, with a fantastic view over the well maintained infinity pool.

The helpful staff and also the infinity pool were the best. The room was also really nice to stay in. The breakfast and dinner was nicely prepared and delicious! It was not crowded and quiet, so we always played cards with a wonderful seaview. To add, we saw many peacocks! Lohnt sich !!!

What a magical stay we had in Haputale! We stayed at a lovely hotel with stunning views over the surrounding hills and tea plantations. The infinity pool was perfect for relaxing, and both the breakfast and the restaurant were excellent. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was Gamini and the amazing staff. Gamini made sure everything was perfect – down to the smallest detail. He organized a fantastic trip to Lipton’s Seat with a wonderful guide, who turned the day into a memorable adventure for us and our kids. The area itself is breathtaking – peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by some of the most beautiful tea fields in Sri Lanka. Our stop in Haputale was absolutely worth it – and one we’ll always remember!

We recently stayed at Haputale Vantage Hills Hotel, and it was truly an amazing experience! The location is absolutely breathtaking – surrounded by misty hills, a calm and serene atmosphere, and stunning views all around. The infinity pool was a highlight for us, offering a unique experience with its cool, refreshing water (definitely felt like ice water!). The staff deserves special mention – they were incredibly friendly, supportive, and always ready to assist, making our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with exceptional service and picturesque surroundings, this is the perfect place. Highly recommend it!

This hotel has been my favourite so far! Very reasonable, very friendly staff, amazing food and that view… what can I say… it’s like going to sleep and dreaming… except it’s real! The view is so good that I cancelled my visit to Lipton because I felt nothing could top this view! The food is very reasonable and the hotel arrange a tuk tuk to pick you up from the Main Street. The view from the pool is incredible. I feel this hotel needs a bit more credit as it’s absolutely amazing!

Vantage Hills has the best view of all the hotels we have stayed at in Sri Lanka. It puts any other mountain view in Asia to 2nd place. Very quiet hotel and we took our time and enjoyed it. The pool was very nice and rooms are excellent. The hotel served breakfast and dinner which was value for money. Staff are extremely helpful and they went the extra mile to make the Sri Lankan food we requested. Walking distance to the town, although with a hill to climb but steps are available. I will stay again in Vantage Hills Haputhale Hotel without any hesitation for any short or long holiday visits.

Excellent buffet choice for both breakfast and evening meal. Rooms are lovely, spacious and clean. Beds are comfy. Beautiful views over to Sigiriya and Pidurangala, infinity pool lovely and clean. Staff super attentive and polite. Lovely garden and cycle path.

We had a wonderful stay at Aliya Resort. Rooms were spacious. Loved the infinity pool. The gym was well equipped and staffed. Breakfast buffet had such a wide variety of traditional Sri Lankan food. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was a perfect experience.

The location of this hotel was perfect. The infinity pool looked over Sigiriya and Pidurangala rock - stunning views. The food was very good and a large range available at the buffet restaurant.

Modern and impressive hotel and facilities including an infinity pool that is instagram-worthy. Staff is professional, efficient, and all smiles. Made me feel like home. Lots of food options in the main restaurant.

Amazing location ....must visit infinity pool very good staff

Lovely, quiet hotel despite it being on the main Seafront road to Galle. Outside of the building is a little tired perhaps but there is a friendly welcome and we have a wonderful ocean front room with a large walk in shower. Breakfast was delicious with a huge array of foods for every taste and omelettes and pancakes made to order. Staff are very welcoming and attentive. The rooftop bar is well appointed, with great views and there is an infinity pool though we didn’t use it.

The Indian Ocean view is stunning and the location is nice. In addition, there is a rooftop bar and an infinity pool. The railway line along the water was another attractive feature. The breakfast is excellent with a variety of options. I want to express my gratitude to Mr. Bhanuka for providing us with the best rooms. Ms. Ashini from the restaurant has a lot of energy, hospitality, and genuine smiles that greets all customers.

The staff were so helpful and considerate and provided excellent customer service. They preempted your needs and nothing was too much trouble. They were also friendly , warm and welcoming. The bedroom Seaview was to die for, with wide windows it was a beautiful scene to wake up to. The rooftop terrace abd pool had a wonderful chilled vibe with great music and the infinity pool with sweeping sea views on one side and views of Colombo city on the other was superb. The rooms were clean, the bathroom was fabulous, the showers so powerful and complimentary toiletries were great. I could not fault the place.

It's a good boutique hotel. The main highlights are the location and the suite room. I'm not sure about the other rooms, but the suite room is spacious, quite comfortable, and has a beautiful view of the sea. It features a big bathroom with a large bathtub, which is an added advantage. It also has a small infinity pool. As we went in the off-season, the nearby areas were almost deserted and quiet.

Very clean, private hotel away from the busy centre. Perfect for a relaxing holiday. The pool / beach access from the hotel was very convenient. The best part was the staff, very helpful and amazing service. The restaurant manager Tyronne and his staff were very friendly. Delicious food at the restaurant at their restaurant ‘Port of Call’.

Lovely warm welcome in arrival, our room was ready early so we got checked in quickly. The room was very clean, fresh and very nicely styled. With a comfortable bed, a great shower and tea and coffee. There was a mini bar and a nice balcony with a sea view. Everything in the room worked very well, the toiletries were. dry nice. The pool area bar and restaurant were all very clean well staffed and the food was very good. All the staff were excellent and very pleasant

There aren't many places that look as good as the pictures but this is one of them!! The staff are some of the nicest and most helpful we've come across, the breakfast was great, views incredible, location perfect and the staff went to incredible lengths to ensure your stay was perfect. Quiet, not over crowded pool, lovely restaurant with some traditional Sri Lankan options as well as the standard eggs and bacon, fresh fruit. It was amazing, I'd recommend to everyone!

Lovely hotel, big pool and right on the beach - our room was perfect, very clean and with a big balcony that had a lovely sea view. Staff were all so friendly and attentive. We had a full body massage at the hotel spa which was amazing. Food at the restaurant was also very good - highly recommend this hotel!

It was very nice place good location not far from restaurant and beach. The pool and area around it was very nice and relaxing pool lovely and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful,we had taxi from hotel to airport included in price of room it was on time lovely car and driver was a lovely friendly person .

The hotel is about 10km far from the Bandaranaike Airport. We have booked airport pick-up service with the hotel. Although our flight has been delayed so we landed an-hour late than schedule, the staff who pick us up was helpfull and patience. Our room has swimming pool view, and in the early morning, the staff pick up leaves to keep the pool clean all the time. The most impressive thing in this hotel is breakfast. After a long flight, the breakfast with fruits, fresh juice, bread, eggs are exactly what we need.

Clean, tidy, nice swimming pool! We couldn’t check in yet early in the morning but we were allowed to use the pool till we could check in.

Great place to stay a night or two before/after flying. The beds are comfy, AC working well and the rooms were clean and fresh. The breakfast was great, but by far the best part is the staff working there. Young, friendly and helpful, making for a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The pool was clean and our young kids enjoyed swimming there. We could also arrange for an extra bed in the room which we appreciated very much! Location is great for walking downtown (or very short tuk tuk ride). No lunch at the property but that meant we found some great places to eat in town.

Very nice modern accommodation. The look of the rooms is very nice and luxurious, also it was spotless and very clean. We were early and the staff made us comfortable till our room was ready, we also got an early check in. The pool is a nice size and refreshing on a warm day. The breakfast in the morning was simple and ok, nothing special but just allright. Also the location was very nice, it was quick to get there from the airport and the beach was just a walk away

We also used the accommodation's transport services, including airport pickup and a few tours, and they were extremely well-organized. My night at Ahu Bay was truly wonderful. The property, gardens and interiors have all been beautifully designed to bring a sense of luxury and calm. The rooms are gorgeous and the view from the infinity pool is heaven. The best part was the service, the staff are warm and welcoming and go above and beyond to showcase Sri Lankan hospitality. I can’t wait to stay again.

Ahu Bay was the perfect place to spend the final two nights of our trip around the island. The hotel occupies a beautiful position between two picturesque Sandy coves. The design of the property was stunning and our room was luxurious and comfortable (especially loved the half open air sitting area of our pool villa). The views from the restaurant overlooking the infinity pool and beach beyond are postcard perfect. Staff here do everything possible to make your stay wonderful and the food was delicious! The highlight was a candlelit dinner on the beach to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We would come back again without hesitation!

We absolutely loved the food! The chef is incredible and we had 3 x melas a day at the restaurant there. Each outdoing each other. I also loved the beach. I was worried about strong surf. But the little bay was perfection. I am a strong swimmer and feel comfortable in the surf, but this was super fun, playful and OMG Warm! We had the pool one bedroom with the pool on the beach. What a dream. An absolutely wonderful way to finish our honeymoon. Noting that we planned to and did stay here in the whole time, not leaving (why would you) so 2 x nights was pretty great here.

Nice hotel, but feels a little unfinished. The food was great, as well as service. The bay is pretty but the beach is small and waves are too strong for swimming most of the time. The suite with a pool doesn't feel as private as I imagined looking at the pictures. The pool is visible from the public beach and the rooms upstairs.

The rooms were really comfortable, spacious and clean. The bed was big and comfortable. Everything in the room looked new and well taken care of. The pool as well as the pool area were clean and very nice to hang out. The gym has the necessary equipment. Breakfast was good. The little filled pancakes were especially tasty. We would really recommend the grilled prawns at the restaurant. A big thank you to all the staff, that was always helpful and made the stay one of our favorites in Sri Lanka.

It was very peaceful and perfect after a week travelling around. The pool was amazing and has such a great view. It was amazing to have a huge room and bed to ourselves. The hotel was quiet, relaxed, had the pool to ourselves. Everything g we needed was onsite, it had great amenities we didn’t use like the gym and massages. The staff were always on hand to help, friendly, and helped us sort out transport.

This resort is perfection! We absoutley loved everything about this stay. The place is immaculate, clean and has great facilities (gym, pool). We had a bungalow that was well maintained and stylish. Each bungalow has a balcony with sun loungers outside, mosquito net and fridge. The pool is clean and so relaxing. The massage was the best I have had in Sri Lanka alongside the coffee! Staff are wonderful and accommodating, the resort even comes with 3 pet dogs who are always up for a pat! Cannot fault this place.

I cant find words fort this amazing place ...we spend here 3 nights and i was very unhappy that we must leave this place. The place is modern, clean, peacful, almost like paradise :) . Restaurant offers teasty meals for meat lovers and vegetarians. All staff are polite, nice and always ready to help you. Swimming pool had great view to beautiful lagoon. Bonus is sunset from pool. Almost privet beach is only 3 min by foot.

The space is incredible, not only the bungalow was spacious and clean, the design was great, plus the pool in front of the lake, well equipped gym, spa center and restaurant make for a overall experience. The location is unneatable, in front of the lake amnd 5 mins walk from a breathtaking beach (we were almost alone). The staff was always welcoming and accomodating (they allowed us a late check in and to stay in the pool while we waited for our driver). Food was good and complete.

From check-in to check-out, the service was great. The service throughout our stay was excellent — efficient, professional, and personal. Nice swimming pool and restaurant with affordable prices. Hotel is very close to the main sites of Anuradhapura. The rooms are large with a fantastic bathroom with a great shower.

The Resort is tucked around a corner from busy roads and is quiet, the pool looked fantastic, we didn't use it. but we had dinner by the pool one night, it was an excellent meal. The breakfasts were fantastic both Sri Lankan and Western style. Our room had a veranda, lovely to sit at in the late evening and morning. Fantastic air-conditioning and a lovely bathroom.

Nice, modern style hotel 10 minute tuk tuk from the ancient city. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable, with beautiful views over rice paddy fields. Great size pool which has sun all day - perfect for relaxing after visiting the temples. Restaurant served nice sri lankan breakfast and reasonable dinner menu. Staff were laid back and willing to help. There is a small convenience shop next door and is ten mins walk down a main road from a couple of local restaurants.

We really loved the spacious room and bathroom! Lovely balcony view as well. Looked clean and very nice!! The open restaurant overlooking the pool and the rice fields was great. Restaurant food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Very close to Anuradhapura.

I'd been wanting to stay at this famed estate for 10 years and it certainly didn't disappoint. Our stay was simply perfect: secluded, we wandered through the gardens just the two of us, swam in the infinity pool and lay in the sun-dappled shade with the sound of the breeze through the trees and all sorts of birds chirping. Our dinner was on the lawn and under the moon and stars; breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the staff friendly and knowledgeable but not overly-attentive. We now want to visit all Teardrop Hotels!

The architecture, the gin and tonics overlooking the lake, the artworks, the swimming pool, the ambience. Our room was more like an apartment. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast and dinner overlooking the lake were memorable experiences.

Staying at Lunuganga was like stepping into a living work of art. The estate’s serene beauty, with its lush gardens and tranquil lake views, offered a peaceful retreat. The blend of architecture and nature created an inspiring atmosphere that made our brief stay truly memorable. The pool is a perfect paradise

Quiet hotel with a sparkling 25m pool and well kept gardens. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and beds comfortable. The breakfast was very good with sri lankan or western options. We had dinner at the restaurant one night which was also good. A 5 min walk to a Cafe, restaurant and small supermarket. We also booked our safari through the hotel and don't think the experience is any different to the ones you book online which are more expensive.

Amazing! Great buffet breakfast, 5 mins walk from the beach, very clean with pool and garden, very accommodating staff. The owner, Sumith, is just amazing. He was very attentive and kind and really went the extra mile. I wanted to try woodapple fruit, and he specifically included it in the breakfast the next day. He provides transport to the beaches nearby and talks with you as a friend. I felt like home. I would not hesitate to stay again. Best Hotel in sri lanka 🇱🇰 👌 😍 Thank you so much.

Personal was really extraordinarily nice, friendly and always helpful. The pool was great. For breakfast there was always a large selection of fruit, vegetables and always a new selection of various goodies. It was just a few steps to the nearest beach and also the town. True, with the need of little dramatic crossing over a busy road. (Although the hotel is located on busy road, we havent heard single sound in our room. The room was really quiet, clean, nice smelling, airconditioned).

We were made to feel so welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Sumith and his team were wonderful and the chef served a wonderful breakfast and we had the best Sri Lanka curry whilst there. The hotel is so close to the beach, towels and mats are provided. The swimming pool was perfect for us, clean and relaxing, free rides to local beaches and Galle were available and the hotel is beautiful with interesting artefacts. The highlight was to meet Sumith's family and hear his niece serenade us. THANK YOU

Service was outstanding. The family running the place are so lovely and make you feel at home right away. There is a lot of thought and detail put into the customer experience. Location is great. Close to beach and easy to walk to everything. The free morning shuttle to turtle or jungle beach is a great addition. Room was clean and comfortable. A new hotel, opened six months ago. The rooms are very spacious, independent cottages, beautifully decorated, and the beds are super comfortable. The infinity pool is right on the beach, which is very flat, perfect for swimming in the sea. As for the buffet, both for breakfast and for lunch at the hotel if you're so inclined, it's spectacular, very varied, and of high quality (I counted more than 30 different desserts!). Special mention should be made of the level of service, superior to many 5-star hotels I've stayed at, both in Europe and Asia: room cleaning, tea and coffee service, twice-daily towel and amenities change, fast and impeccable room service, etc. And of course, the attention and friendliness of all the staff is extraordinary. In short, a truly five-star hotel with a quality/price ratio that's hard to beat.

It's a brand new resort equipped with a nice pool and its own beach. The decor looks modern and the beddings were nice. Depending on occupancy, there's a buffet for breakfast and dinner. Mainly though, there were a few staff that helped make our stay pleasant. Big mahalo to Emran, Roshan who wrote down a recipe for my fav dhal curry, Raj who didn't even have his uniform or name tag yet but still helped us out when we wanted to bring food to the room near the end of breakfast. Lastly, Bandara who maintained the awesome pool and who made sure we were well taken care of there.

Great hotel with amazing breakfast. The chalets with the private pools were amazing to get that better privacy away from the main pool. The staff were very accommodating and the breakfast was awesome.

Hotel facilities were phenomenal. Room was extremely comfortable and well maintained. The main pool and restaurant are beautifully located in the middle of the jungle. Food was fantastic. Highlight of the stay was the true butler service. Our Butler - Lochana was attentive, detail oriented and kind. He made our stay extremely memorable.

This is a unique, beautifully designed property. The grounds are spectacular and the facilities are second to none. From the minute you arrive, you are so well looked after with lots of special touches like poolside cold towels and ice tea. The spa is luxurious and our treatments were very good. The staff are very attentive and keen to make sure every care is looked after. It is every bit a luxury hotel with personal care. The food is delicious and the chef came out to speak with us at every meal which is a very nice touch. Every meal felt very special (especially breakfast).

Super breakfast, butler Roshan is perfect and so dedicated. Villa with a super view, garden, pool and all the amenities. Cleaning 3 times a day. Privacy is great. Every moment of our vacation managed very well by a team perfectly coordinated by Umberto, a very engaged General Manager. Overall an exceptional experience!

Our stay at trillium Hotel in Colombo was wonderful! The location is perfect, the hotel is spotless, and the infinity pool offers an amazing view. The restaurant serves delicious food and great drinks in a lovely atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful — they even kept our luggage safe while we traveled around Sri Lanka. I’d definitely stay at Trillium Hotel again.

However, the kitchen staff were incredibly accommodating, creating delicious and healthy breakfast alternatives that surpassed our expectations. The property itself is teeming with wildlife, with numerous birds and animals spotted throughout our stay.

Great villa, amazing jungle, the territory is big and clean, nice and clean pool. The view from the balcony is amazing. Air conditioner worked well, the room itself very spacious. Nice restaurant.

We really like the place. Great room, beds, garden and pool. And quiet surrounding. Also the breakfast was nice. and the staff was very helpful. Our young kids felt safe and free to run around and were happy. We didn't make use of the diner als the vegetarian option was not that great and the diner quite expensive, but we found a really nice local restuarant BiteMe in Heenatigala, that served really nice local food, had great atmosphere and was only a 5 minute tuck tuck ride away. Also Wijaya Beach was 15 minutes away with a good pizza restaurant.

The room was excellent, comfortable, stylish. Staff where so helpful, they ran out with umbrellas for us in the pooring rain. The chef is absolutely amazing, we ate the best chicken wings of our lives!! Thank-you to Shafras who works there for ensuring a comfortable stay. Staff friendly and easy going. Location is a bit far from town but worth it, right in the jungle with monkeys around, silent when you wake up, only a few rooms so never too many people around the pool. Very clean.

Super kind and friendly staff. Location is in the middle of nowhere but its perfect for retreat. They had good food menu, drinks and spa. You can book a massage or some other cosmetic treatment. Breakfast is tasty. Swimming pool is just amazing! Rooms are big and well maintained. From the accomodation they offer tuktuk for around 1500 lkr to Unawatuna.

The best hotel to finished your trip! We saved this hotel for the end because his beauty and because we wanted hotel at the end that combined everything all in once, that way we could stay in the hotel without leaving hotel’s property. The hotel is outstanding! His beautiful, the rooms, the lake view, the infinity pool… basically everything!!!!!!!!!! The food is delicious, breakfast is wow, and the restaurant at night has so very special and delicious food!

Secluded, peaceful spot with an incredible vista and wonderful staff. The place has been designed with a lot of thought and it really has everything you need - comfortable bedrooms, a gym, a library, infinity pool and a good restaurant on site. You can also head via tuk tuk to local town for bars and restaurants.

What a beautiful setting and the rooms were stunning as well as spacious. Stayed in the cinamon tower with great views to start and moved into a sunset villa as we extended for an extra night. Huge bathroom and patio doors you can open to the elements as nobody can see in. The infinity pool was fab. Long enough for a decent swim. Staff were always very helpful and we loved the food especially the local, Sri Lankan breakfast. Must be ordered the night before. We wanted a tranquil setting for a couple of days to relax before starting our tour of the island and it did not disappoint.

We stayed in an oceanfront room with an amazing view. The room was very clean, and the hot shower had excellent water pressure. We enjoyed our meals while looking out over the sea and spent relaxing time swimming in the pool. It’s a great choice for families with children—safe, comfortable, and welcoming. The staff were friendly, efficient, and provided excellent service. Although the waves were too strong for swimming, we could watch sea turtles right from the shore. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was amazing. The staff will do everything they can to help you out. We had an amazing dinner at restaurant (one of the best meal we had in our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka) and the natural pool in front of the hotel where we were able to swin with turtles in the morning. Breakfast was also good and you could choose between Sri Lankan breakfast or a continental one. If you are nearby, don't bother looking anymore. This place is awesome and you will spend a great time here!

6 nights at Rockside Cabanas was a wonderful experience. Easy access to turtle beach and pool was perfect for us as well. Galle 10-15 mins away with tuk-tuk.. Staff were very helpful, friendly and restaurant food was good quality. Rockside also organise transfer from airport to hotel and from hotel to Ella which made things a lot easier. Hope to come back one day.

The whole property is just amazing. Set on a green plot of land not far from Unawatuna - and directly on the beach. The newly build pool is amazing, and you can walk straight onto the beach, where you are greeted by giant sea turtles. On top of that, the staff is incredibly friendly - we have already booked our next stay <3

It was a beautiful hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast was great. We ate dinner one night here. It was good. Only downside is that the beach is not swim able. Rough seas and no real beach. However there was a pool .

Simple but beautiful hotel, with a great relaxing atmosphere and wonderful staff. We arrived really late from the flight and waited for us and welcomed us in, the rooms were clean and spacious and the infinity pool was just amazing. The grounds are so well taken care of and we enjoyed a stroll alongside the river and the beautiful gardens of the hotel, breakfast was simple but fresh and we enjoyed it very much. The staff was so thoughtful and nice towards us and the kids and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely stay here again.

Warm welcome with a delicious drink. Spacious room and bathroom. Soft towels, also pool towels. Comfortable beds. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food in the restaurant is delicious. I can recommend the spa. We were offered a late check-out without extra charge. Perfect place to relax a few days.

One of the nicest rooms we have stayed in. Staff friendly helpful and attentive. Pool was amazing. If you are thinking of drinking alcohol take your own. Wine is very expensive.

Everything about this place is outrageously exceptional. The staff are INCREDIBLE. The food is AMAZING. The location is PERFECT. We honestly had the best time staying here mostly realxing in and beside the pool, lazing on the beach, frolicking in the waves and watching gorgeous sunsets. The staff under Rizwan's amazing management ensured that we always had what we needed and were always around just when we needed something. Honestly it was like a home away from home and we will DEFINITELY be returning.

This is a luxurious place with only seven rooms. We almost had the place to ourselves. The staff, especially Eshan and Rukmal were very friendly and attentive. The breakfast and dinners, included in the room rate, was gourmet level and really makes this a great value with luxury. Don’t miss the beautiful pool. Would be great for a destination wedding!!

A beautiful luxurious property with gorgeous sunset. Food was amazing and service too. Only an hour from the airport. Beach very quiet but the under current is very strong so you can’t swim in the sea. There is a large swimming pool to relax in though.

Great location if you have a driver/transport. Very quiet area. Not far from Kandy city or the tourist attractions. There's 2 pools, but it rained when we stayed so didn't use them.

Amazing location of the hotel, you could feel like in the middle of the jungle, we had beautiful and very big room. The staff very friendly, always there to help. It was very convenient to have the laundry option organised there. Clean swimming pool, kids loved playing chess which was available there😊. Very much recommend the place.

We had a brilliant 3 days at Roysth Estate! It was the last leg on our 2 week trip with out 18 month old around Sri Lanka and certainly the highlight! So many thoughtful details such as a baby monitor set up in our room and placing us close to the action so we could allow Arthur to nap whilst we were by the pool! The food was insanely good and the tea factory tour was fascinating! The staff were all so accommodating and delightful with out son. He was so well looked after and became a huge fan of hoppers and roti! Neil and Farzana were fabulous hosts and made you feel at home instantly- when we arrived it felt more like arriving to a family party than a hotel! The rooms were lovely and the whole hotel has been decorated in such a thoughtful and tasteful manner. The spa was also brilliant- the complimentary foot massage on arrival was very welcome after a long drive! Would highly recommend to anyone, especially as its only just over 2 hours from the airport so makes an ideal place to get over jetlag or top off a trip!

Beautiful stay in the middle of the forest. The property owners were very friendly and welcoming as well as the staff that were always very helpful. The food was amazing and gives you the perfect experience of the sri Lanka authentic food. They also offer complimentary foot massage to welcome their guests and yoga class every morning! They have a non for profit tea factory and took us on a visit to the factory with a guide that explained every step of the process for free! Very calm and relaxing place and highly recommended for families!

This is a beautiful boutique hotel run by a lovely couple. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Pasan was so knowledgeable and kind. All of the staff were a delight with our children. The food was delicious, amazing curry and rice and dahl! And the breakfast was a great variety. We had the opportunity to have a tour around the estate and also see the tea factory where they sort the leaves. Really enjoyed the experience.

Idyllic and peaceful location on the Rosyth tea estate . The breakfast and dinners were exceptional and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We were delighted to get a room upgrade without requesting this . The staff organised drivers and excursions . We really enjoyed the walk through the tea estate with the ecologist who was very informative about the local flora and wildlife.

Nice place, amazing staff, great owners. The territory of the hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature. Amazing views from the mountain slope where the hotel is located. The food is served like a restaurant, with a wide variety of snacks, as well as a demonstration of the cooking process of local dishes during dinner.

Garcinia Leaf was a gem. It is a beautiful hotel, set away from the busy main streets , instead it was an oasis nestled amongst beautiful trees and greenery, yet a short trip to the beach. The rooms were large and clean and the staff were friendly ,really helpful and responsive. The food at breakfast was utterly delicious and beautifully presented. The pool was gorgeous with a jacuzzi in one corner. All in all, a great stay

We liked everything about this hotel. Very spacious room,comfortable beds hot shower. Lovely terrace. Fantastic pool set in tranquil surrounds. Exotic birds in the grounds. We ate at the hotel which offered a well priced menu and the food was very good. We were initially concerned about how far from the beach it was but its only a 599/700 SLR tuk tuk ride and these are easy to find or thevhotel can arrange. The area around the hotel is quiet and very nice to walk around. If we return we would without doubt stay here again.

Very friendly staff always happy to help. Excellent service, room cleaned everyday with fresh towels etc. Sri Lankan Curry was outstanding. The pool is fantastic, Peacocks strolling past while you swim. Lots of exotic birds flying around. Peaceful and relaxing. I would recommend it to anyone who wishes to relax and be pampered. The rooms are big and so are the comfortable beds. You get a fridge which is good.

The rooms are large, clean and fresh, and the setting is beautiful, high up amongst the sri lankan jungle with the lizards, the birds and the butterflies. Our host, Frank at Garcinia leaf looked after us extremely well, helping us arrange transport and anything else we needed. The food is local, simple and fresh, and the pool is a delight. When we stayed it was with other sri Lankans and no tourists in sight, which was lovely, but may be due to it's distance from the beach and town with requires a tuktuk ride each time as it is a steep 45 minute walk.

Couldn't have asked for more. We got upgraded to a beautiful room over the top of the pool but high up away from noise (there wasn't any anyway!) and with views over the lake. Loved every minute here. Attentive staff, amazing food, cleaner than clean facilities due to the thousands of staff ready to wait on your every desire.

The Thaulle Resort is one of the best hotels we stayed in (out of six hotels in Sri Lanka)and we wished we could have stayed longer. The staff are very attentive, the décor is beautiful, the restaurant food is very tasty and the pool area is relaxing-all perfect.

We had three very peaceful quiet days st the Thaulle. Our room was large and well appointed. The bathroom huge and the best body products I have had in a Hotel. Food was very tasty and the menu varied. The pool was small but very lovelly sitting around in the shade of the trees.

This place is like heaven on earth. Situated on the edge of a cliff. It's like living above clouds. Most spectacular view. View from infinity pool is priceless. rooms are very clean. The food was delicious. Staff was very and welcoming to make your stay feel like you are home. I recommend this hotel to everyone (couples or family). I would definitely go back.

The location is most probably the best view we have experienced apart from being at the top of the alps while skiing, it’s truly amazing and the beehive rooms are extremely quaint and perfect for a 2/3 night stay. The staff were very attentive and always had a smile on their faces and nothing was a problem. The infinity pool is also a must for photographs in.

Amazing retreat about 20 minutes from Haputale in the mountains. The rooms are spacious round huts, fully equipped with bathroom and a Verrada with breathtaking views. All is brand New and is very Clean. As we have been here off season, one is nearly alone all day. we had booked half Board and the food was delicious and plenty. Also the staff was very helpful and attentive and friendly. Perfect for day trips and hiking, but keep in mind it’s a bit in the middle of nowhere. The hotel was very helpful to organize transportation at reasonable rates. I would definitely recommend this hotel, also for a longer, relaxed stay, it has an amazing infinity pool.

We were lucky enough to spend Christmas at Dream Cliff and it was wonderful. The Christmas Eve gala dinner was delicious and Santa even paid us a visit! The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. We loved the Sri Lankan breakfast and enjoyed relaxing around the pool. The room was beautiful, comfortable and spacious.

This was the most incredible location with stunning views and also so relaxing. It was a beautiful stay and the staff were so friendly. We told Rafael it was our honeymoon and he organised surprise decorations for us at our room and dinner. Vipula was also very helpful and friendly. We loved loved loved our stay and would highly recommend it. It felt like we were alone in the clouds and the pool is one of the nicest we have swam in. The food was wonderful and well priced and so were the drinks

Absolutely loved this place! The food is great, the environment is so peaceful ❤️ Located in a quiet and peaceful surrounding, this hotel has amazing views. Lots of birds can be spotted. Friendly staff. Friendly and safe environment. The pool is well maintained. The rooms are clean, spacious and well maintained.

This hotel is amazing! The views alone are breath-taking. Although only 5 minutes from the main street, it was so quiet here. The pool and amenities were so clean, and the AC was so strong. Everyone here was so nice and welcoming, and went out of their way to help us with any queries. The kitchen and bar staff were so friendly, and the food was amazing. Especially breakfast. Would definitely recommend and come back.

Extremely comfortable room, with amazing views of the valley and sunrise. A very short walk to the centre of Ella (although quite steep, it was more than manageable). We ate in the restaurant once (dinner) and it was delicious. The pool, hot tub, steam room, and sauna were all to a very high standard, and it was amazing to sit in the hot tub and watch the monkeys!

The swimming pool was amazing. It was an infinity pool, and you could see elephants in the river. The staff is very pleasant and attends to you very quickly.

The view is as spectacular as it gets and I doubt there are many places outside of Africa you can watch elephants in the river from your room or the hotel pool. Twice a day the elephants come down and some of the females and calves are allowed freedom to explore the bank on the other side. It is great value for money and all the photos of the elephants next to the pool are true.

Room is nice. We got the garden view. It would be nice to have the river view next time. I hope it will be available next time. Toilet is clean, sheets are clean. We are using crt tv which is nostalgic, I actually liked it. Pool is nice for photos with the elephants in the river as background. Breakfast is awesome. Its a buffet. You need to include it on your booking as most budget hotels offer ala-carte. Staff are friendly and warm. I guess all sri-lankans are like these. :)

The views are just breathtaking. It’s the first thing you see when you enter. The rooms were comfortable with a balcony. The buffets at the hotel is lovely and affordable. The view from the pool and the river banks having the elephants just interact with the guests is also nice. There’s balconies on every floor is lovely if you don’t have a river facing room and there’s common areas. The housekeeping staff are such friendly boys and helpful. Also the guy at the restaurant was kind.

The hotel has great location overlooking the river with no need to pay the fee to see the elephant’s bathing. The room was spacious (we had a quad room) with a fridge and tea/coffee facilities which we appreciated a lot. Every day we got a free bottle of water and tea/coffee bags. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Water in the swimming pool was clean. We enjoyed our stay and we would come back again.

The breakfast was delicious and had a great variety. The view from the room was spectacular as was the view from the infinity pool. The staff were very attentive especially the manager Marcus. Very well maintained property. Loved the pool area, available 2 different pools (one with salt water). Delicious and variable breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful, made our staying enjoyable. Location very good, lovely narrow street with lots of restaurant and shops nearby.

Property was great with lots of good amenities - lovely pool, pool table, children’s playroom. The staff were wonderful and the rooms were exceptionally clean which was important to me as I was travelling with children - I especially appreciated how Subadra created very cute and pretty towel displays for my child after cleaning the room (which she always left spotlessly clean).

Position it was a nice distance to walk to the beach, restaurants and bars and was a nice and quite location. The staff were amazing and forever helpful and happy. The breakfast buffet was excellent with fresh fruit, cakes and an egg station with an excellent chef who made a fantastic omelette. Our room was huge and the bathroom had a big walk in shower which was perfect. Both fresh and salt water pools were great and never crowded.

There is a hotel beach, and the hotel offers free shuttle service (or a 7-minute walk). Room cleaning twice a day. Very delicious and varied breakfasts. You can have dinner at the hotel, and there's an option to choose fresh fish. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. It's pure enjoyment to spend a vacation here.

Gorgeous location. Staff helpful, polite and friendly. Impressed with the food and thought it was very reasonably priced, despite there being little choice of where to go as the hotel is far from anywhere else. Pool lovely. Glamping tents very clean with air con and a fan. Bed very comfy. We loved our 2 night stay. Would recommend.

We booked the honeymoon suite which was spacious and clean. The best part was the monkeys that love to come and visit . The staff went all out with an evening bonfire and cocktails by the lake . The pool is a great size to go for a proper swim . They have a great spa which is elevated amoungst the trees . I had a fabulous foot massage. ❤️

We stayed in the honeymoon tent which was beautiful. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We had a lovely private pool and lots of space to ourselves. The staff were very friendly and made our stay wonderful. I’d highly recommend. It was also only a 20 min drive to Yala Safari Park so close by.

Amazing place! We had a such a great time staying at the Eco lodge with five star service from everyone at the Flameback , food are lovely and the swimming pool is well maintained we didn't want to leave! The lodge is not far from Hilton but the experience at this place was nothing to compare. We saw all the wild life, the beautiful sun rise , there were over 100 species of birds around the place. The pre drink by the lake and log fire watching little fireflies twinkling about was such a special experience. Really highly recommended.

We had an amazing stay in Hotel Pinnalanda. The view is breathtaking! Breakfast was really good and the staff was so lovely and friendly. Especially Andrew (that’s how we called him) from the tour desk was such a lovely helpful guy! Thank you Andrew, you did a great job! But all the staff was amazing and made our holiday!! I can really recommend to also use the pool when the elephants are out, that was amazing!

Best Place to see elephant bathing from your balcony. They come close to us. We can see elephant bathing from the swimming pool and the restaurant area also. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic and delicious. Friendly and helpful staff.

The restaurant and pool were great, and the views of the elephants in the river was perfect! The staff were excellent - very friendly and helped us to organise the elephant experience where we could wash the elephants and ride them if we wanted! They also added on a herbal garden tour included in this. Kavee was one of the hotel’s drivers, and he was amazing - he took us to and from the experiences and then drove us to our next location (Sigiriya), with some stops at temples along the way. He was extremely friendly and made us feel very relaxed :)

Exceptional stay in paradise! We had an unforgettable experience at Maalu Maalu Resort. The staff were incredibly kind and hospitable, always going the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The infinity pool and beach were absolutely stunning—perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. Our room was a luxurious two-story cottage with a private pool, jacuzzi, and even a sauna. The spa treatments were top-notch; we enjoyed some of the best massages we’ve ever had. The food was delicious every day, with a great variety. One of the highlights of our stay was playing beach volleyball with other guests—it really added a fun, social touch. A special thanks to Ruchi, who truly made this trip magical. He treated our daughter like a princess, played with her, and made us feel like the hotel was our own home. He’s a rare gem who brought warmth and joy to our entire experience. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking to unwind in a tropical paradise.

Everything was perfect. The sky villas are tastefully done up. The views are stunning. The staff is courteous and efficient. The food is outstanding. The beach is pristine and private. The facilities like volleyball and cricket for kids was fun. The infinity pool on the roof is gorgeous. The jacuzzis on the deck are brilliant.

This property is amazing. It is right on the beach of rangtha, pretty much a private beach with only people having the charm of sea are the hotel guests mostly. This part of the beach is also super clean. The property is at almost equal distances to galle and hikkaduwa beach, so getting to these places is not a pain, specially with tuktuk’s running in abundance. We stayed at the sky villa’s. And the view is amazing. It is a 2 room villa with a small kitchnet, a balcony and a plunge pool. The room itself is super clean and well maintained with all the amenities. Ones missing are available on call. It has a washing machine, a stove to cook and a fridge and freezer. The pool has a jacuzi and a light for your use in the evening. There is a gym with a cross trainer and weights, basic but effective. There’s a infinity pool on the top floor of this property which also houses a bar and their restaurant temptest. The view from the pool specially during sunset is just out of the world. The staff is courteous and helpful. You can also order from their ird while on the beach.

This was the best property we stayed at during our visit to Sri Lanka. It’s located on the most beautiful stretch of beach in Hikkaduwa — a long expanse of golden sand with no rocks or beach shacks, perfect if you’re looking for peace and quiet rather than a party scene. The apartments are modern, spotless, and very well equipped — with a washer-dryer, a wide selection of teas, a well-stocked fridge, and even a private sea-facing jacuzzi on the terrace. The bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable, with quality mattresses, soft linens, plush pillows, and good toiletries. The rooftop café and infinity pool offer a stunning ocean view, and the food and drinks are quite good. Service is warm, attentive, and efficient — the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful.

Crystal Sands offered a beachfront view and good breakfast. The main pool had a beautiful view and the private plunge pool also provided a good option. Housekeeping was very good, especially Dileepa and Shammi. Restaurant food and drink was also good.

The location is a 4 min drive from city center, I believe its meant to be that way. The hotel provided complimentary transport to the beach and city center. The location is closer to nature with an amazing infinity pool to get lost in 180 degree views. The rooms are comfortable, modern and spacious and the staff is very considerate and very attentive..

This location is by far the best, most quiet and relaxing place you can find in Arugam Bay! The rooms are exactly how they look on the pictures; clean, stylish and spacious. The hotel is located at a lagoon that you can enjoy from the restaurant and pool area; at one morning during our breakfast 50 wild buffalos passed, when you are lucky also elephants cross and can be seen. The hotel has it own TukTuk that can bring you to the beach or city centre! The owner and staff are really helpful and nice people!

Friendly hotel staff, particularly the tuktuk driver who was very helpful coming to pick us up in the early hours after a certain football match that we 'had' to watch! View from the rooms and the pool is lovely, you can while away hours watching the wildlife or local fishermen. Arugum Bay beach was lovely, we spent a day relaxing there and enjoyed having a wander through Arugum Bay in the evenings enjoying different restaurants and shops.

This is one of those standout moments in our Family trip. What could be better after a hot day discovering Anuradhapura to be welcomed back by the wonderful staff, a refreshing dip in the infinity pool overlooking the rice fields and finally the excellent choice of food served up by chef before retiring in the lovely bedroom. Exceptionally good value!

Staff were really lovely and made us feel very welcome. Pool was gorgeous and room was cool and comfortable. The whole place has a peaceful and eclectic vibe in a rural setting - a bit of historic brickwork here and a mud brick update there. Not quite the rice paddy backdrop described by others, more like a vacant lot behind the pool, but still green and attracts birds. The chef does traditional Sri Lankan breakfast with egg hoppers which is lovely.

The hotel is a little out of the main historic area but only a few minutes with a tuk tuk. Our room was very comfortable and the peaceful shrine on the rooftop gives a special view at night. The pool is delightful and the garden is very pretty. The manager Rami is very gracious and helpful with advice on visiting the area. All the staff are friendly and courteous and the SriLankan style breakfast is very good. The dinner buffet is also delicious and good value. Rami introduced us to Sampath who drove us around the sites in his tuk tuk for a very fair price and we were well cared for.

Absolutely outstanding location!! Very close to the sacred city, temples and other attractions. Very well planned landscapes, clean and comfortable modern rooms that provide closeness to the nature - you will wake up to the singing of birds!! Nice pool overlooking the paddy fields that has a relaxing vibe to end the day with. Friendly and helpful staff, great food and nice rooftop views of the tanks and stupas! All in all, a fantastic place that I will recommend to all my friends traveling to Sri Lanka and the ancient city of Anuradhapura.

Very beautiful hotel in the middle of the nature with an amazing view of the surroundings and an infinity pool to the valley. The staff were exceptional and the breakfast was very good too: varied and tasty. You can watch the sunrise from the roof and it is a wonderful view.

Very friendly and helpful Staff, stunning view and an amazing infinity pool. Highly recommend for people who want a nice quiet getaway.

The duplex room was large, had two separate bedrooms and a kitchenette. The views over the valley and the large infinity pool were both enjoyable. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

Beautiful views of the mountains and the infinity pool was amazing. The staff was really great and helpful. The food and the service was fantastic. Watching the sunrise at 360 view point was a great experience. Environment was filled with peacocks and other beautiful birds.

the hotel is very big and brand new, the room was very comfortable with plenty of space . the infinity pool facing the jungle is incredible and the breakfast is served on the panoramic balcony. Romish has been very kind and ensured we had everything we needed

I booked this hotel on a whim, on the bus to Dambula about an hour before I arrived, and I'm so glad I did - it did not disappoint! Everything from the welcome drink to the facilities and staff were perfect. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds, and the surrounding area and views are stunning. My room was spacious and clean and I had a beautiful view of the garden from my balcony. The infinity pool is lovely - a perfect break from the heat of the day. There's a spa right next to the pool. I had a lovely massage and could hear the birds singing. Great for bird watching in the evening too. The staff were really welcoming and friendly. Reception staff helped me arrange transport to Sigiriya and safari. The restaurant team were really friendly and always welcomed me with a smile. I was shown round their rice fields and explained how they cultivate the rice for the restaurant. The restaurant offers an all you can eat buffet or a la carte menu with both Sri Lankan and Western options. Very reasonable prices. I had such a great time, I booked an extra night. The hotel exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely stay again. Bohōma stūtiyi!

We had a pleasent stay at this Resort, the pictures and description perfectly shows what the place is: a quiet retreat with a huge garden, large pool and great view over a rice field, which gives you the feeling to be away from the sometimes noisy and busy roads in Sri Lanka. This means the location is also a bit away from Dambulla main area and it's restaurants. But I think you can't have both... Staff is always very friendly and polite. Breakfast buffet is rich and has some Sri Lankan dishes, but more western style. Room was clean and spacious, with everything you need. We would recommend!

The property is exceptional. Was truly highlight of our trip. Amazing vegetation all over the really big territory - rice fields, mango, cashew trees. Clean beautiful pool. Everything very well maintained even the law season. Tennis court was a pleasant bonus! Friendly helpful stuff. The unique charm of some luxury recreation center from the past. As soon as we went further we realize how special was this place. Miss it!
