Hotels with Infinity Pool in La Fortuna

Without a doubt the most incredible property I’ve ever visited. Our mountain(volcano!) view was jaw dropping, truly something I’ll never forget. The infinity pool and hot tub area enjoyed the same view! The restaurant is 5-star, truly a pleasure. The grounds are gorgeous and felt very safe; and don’t even get me started on the monkeys we watched from our balcony as they swung through the lush trees. Honestly I can’t recommend the resort highly enough. The only part that wasn’t amazing was the lack of A/C. We had a quite powerful ceiling fan over the beds that made sleep possible, but the bathroom areas could feel a bit moist. But then again I was visiting a rainforest in June, which is early in the rainy season, so I should have expected this. My fault, not theirs. Despite this, I cannot recommend this resort highly enough! I hope to stay there again in the future.

AOL is one of those lifetime experiences that we will always remember. The property has been maintained as a safari lodge from another era. It’s spotlessly clean, perfectly functional with unbelievable views and facilities. We enjoyed the observation deck with views of the volcano, birds and animals. The guided tours and pools were memorable as well. The bonus was the restaurant where we enjoyed our meals with probably the best view in Costa Rica. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved every minute here and highly recommend this place.

The views and location are amazing as long as the weather is clear which it was for our visit. You can see Arenal volcano really close up and the views of Lake Arenal are magnificent. We enjoyed the trails, the garden, which had lots of different types of hummingbirds, and the pool/jacuzzi area. Climbing the nest was fun and gave fabulous views of the volcano and surounding jungle. The room was clean and a good size but we missed having air con so it was a bit hot and stuffy in the night. I'd definitely come back.

You're surrounded by stunning views and beautiful animals. The trails on the grounds provide a variety of difficulty and experiences. The rooms are huge, though lack of AC and bugs getting through screens can be a minor issue. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Bring a good camera and binoculars because you'll be enjoying the views a great deal. Also, the pool and jet tub were relaxing and enjoyable. The spa was wonderful and affordable.

We loved the property and the views the terrace offers. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the breakfast good, we enjoyed the swimming pool and jacuzzi, the morning free tour of the property and a run on one of the many trails surrounding the lodge.

Everything!! The location was incredible, close to everything but still quite and relaxing. We stayed in a room with a private pool and the pool was beautiful as well as the little terrace. My favorite part of the room was the bathroom, incredibly BEAUTIFUL! Highly recommended

Loved the property, it was gorgeous. Still close to town and so many beautiful plants, very private, gated parking and entry. The room was very clean and beautiful view of Arenal Volcano with our own private pool which was lovely. The shower feels like you are out in the jungle. Staff was very friendly. Enjoyed breakfast at a nearby hotel. Would highly recommend!! Was sad to leave. Also had great restaurants nearby and was very peaceful

We loved everything about Fortuna Retreat! Such beautiful views and modern clean rooms. The bathroom was a dream and we felt like having full privacy on our little terrace with the plunge pool. Waking up every morning with the view of the volcano was amazing and everything around our stay was so relaxing.

The property was beautiful with a view of the volcano ,surrounding scenery, and beautiful pool! The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. We had a huge covered balcony to enjoy the outdoors even when it was raining. The breakfast offered at the lodge next door (around 5 min walk) was tasty with great service.

The pictures can not describe how beautiful this Hotel is. We stayed at the ground level room and had a awesome view on the volcano. The whole place was super clean from the pool to the plants and even the parking lot. The rooms are big and modern, the Wifi was superb and the bathroom is something else. Also the staff was very polite, helpful and professional. You don't need to look for any other accommodation just book this, you won't regret it.

Loved the location - close to some great restaurants for breakfast The room was great. Exceptionally clean. All very recently done and everything you need for a relaxing stay. We really enjoyed our stay in villa Tucan. Restaurants and shops (supermarket, bakerey, etc.) can be found nearby, the centre of la Fortuna is just a few minutes by car. The garden and the pool are great: many fruit-trees, a lot of birds and the pool and jacuzzi were perfect for relaxing after a day of activities. Berenice and her family did all to make our stay as nice as possible

Lovely garden and nicely arranged pool area. The rooms were quiet and newly refurbished. Tasteful interior. A Tucan was a frequent visitor at the pool area. Super helpful host.

Everything was perfect. Berenice is an awesome host. We felt very safe. The way the property is maintained is amazing. So beautiful with plants, trees and birds. You wake up the morning to birds chirping. We enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub. Very nice restaurants in walking distance.

The property was beautiful from the landscaping to the many hummingbirds right outside our door. My kids and I loved sitting on the porch and enjoyed the rocking chair and hammock in the evening while listening to the rain. The rooms were clean, beds comfy, warm shower. The pool and hot tub were wonderful after a hike or other adventures in the area. Our host Berenice was amazing!

Couldn’t recommend this place enough! Our room (#6) was extremely spacious and had a balcony view of the pool and volcano. Breakfast included a great variety of choices, staff was incredibly kind and the pool area was perfect. The night walk was great and the town is a quick taxi ride away. Would definitely stay again if we come back to La Fortuna!

I highly recommend this hotel. Great location (surrounded by luxuriant nature but still, not too far from the city center, with a lovely view on the volcano). Staff was very nice, professional & helpful. Rooms were nice (the outdoor shower was a big plus!) The pool & the hot tubs are a very nice addition after a long day of hiking (nice pool deck to sip a cocktail). The hotel offers a little night tour to spot wildlife around: it was a lovely surprise, we saw many frogs (and even a snake!)

What a magical place. Beautiful property with wonderful staff and a great view of the volcano, when it appears! It was perfect for our two families with teenage kids with the pool, hot tubs, ping pong and pool table. Breakfast was excellent with good variety and coffee/cookies on tap throughout the day was a hit. We loved the night frog tour and being able to walk to the waterfall, and town is just a short drive away. Highly recommended.

The Gardens and birdlife were amazing. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was so delicious, and the complimentary breakfast was exceptional. The jacuzzis were beautifully relaxing, and pool was sparkling clean. The distance from town is several km and a steep walk up hill on your way back, so we hired a scooter to get around, which was good. The bed was comfortable. Amazing open air shower, and a lovely deck off of the room which looked out into the rainforest and gardens.

The hotel was fantastic. The grounds are amazing and we saw lots of wildlife including on the night walk. There is a lovely swimming pool which isn't huge but as it's a small hotel it was never full of people. The food in the restaurant was great, the included breakfast included a cooked breakfast of choice from the menu and a buffet selection in yogurts, fruit and pastries. There's also a self service coffee machine which is available throughout the day. The room was clean and comfortable. The balcony overlooked an area of trees which was great for birdwatching and seeing other animals.

Gorgeous property with beautiful jungle setting, loved the sloth trail, the privacy of the rooms, the pool and pool table area, great live music. Concierge staff was friendly and helpful. Such a romantic and special hotel!

The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The glass windows provided a beautiful view to the gardens. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi during the storm and the swimming pool while having a wonderful cocktail! The breakfast was also amazing - best platanos in Costa Rica so far!Our host Anna was very welcoming! Also, Erick and Daniel were really helpful and showed us the sloths residing in the property!

Everything! Amazing, friendly and helpful staff - from reception staff especially Michelle and Angelica, to the waiters, housekeepers and gardener! Beautiful, spacious rooms with personal outdoor space. Great shower! Amazing breakfast options and wonderful space around the pool and gardens. Loved the hottub and the wildlife on site. Would 100% recommend and wish we could've stayed for longer in our time in Costa Rica.

Such a lovely hotel. Its very new and modern. Rooms and huge and so is the king bed. I loved everything about he room, a nice sitting area outside, very quiet, I did not hear other guests and had a great sleep. very good air conditioning. small fridge in the room and welcome fruit and chocolate. The pool is very inviting and the restaurant is bright and open air. Breakfast was great. Josue and Leonardo at reception were very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend a stay here.

The breakfast was superb. The staff were super friendly, efficient, and helpful. All of the restaurants were top notch. The villas were perfect, the cool pools and thermals pools were beautiful, and the swim-up bars were fantastic. The single best hotel I’ve ever experienced.

This is a special place. The rooms are separate buildings (or luxury “tents”) each with a plunge pool. The rooms are large and well furnished and decorated. The beds are huge. There was an outside shower with excellent pressure (plus an inside one of you prefer). There are three or four restaurants and multiple bars and swimming pools. The hotel covers a huge area and never feels crowded. We are in two of the restaurants. Our preference was for the Asian one. Breakfast is good.

Beautiful layout and lovely villas. Good location, 10 mins to town. Great trip to the saraquipi river for rafting. Lovely pools, thermal pools, bars etc not crowded and family friendly. Jefferson was super helpful and lovely.

Nayara Gardens was a pure joy. The facilities were superb, with a choice of pools and restaurants all nestled in the rainforest. Despite it being a resort with upto 180 guests we only ever saw a maximum of 15 other people in any location including the restaurants or poolside. The morning yoga classes were superb, the restaurants were varied and we loved everything about it.

Great service, amazing food, good drinks and you could use facilities of all 3 resorts (ie pools, bars, restaurants and thermal pools).

We stayed in a house on the hotel grounds, which we rented through Airbnb. It was spacious and comfortable. The hotel’s gardens are beautiful and meticulously maintained. There’s a cold (chlorinated) pool and several hot pools. I especially loved the hot pools, as they’re surrounded by lush tropical plants — I could have soaked in them for hours! The location is perfect for exploring all the attractions in the area.

Wonderful stay . Hot pools were very nice a private. Short walk to pools . It felt you were in the jungle at the pools . Farm was a extra joy!

The hot springs were amazing and very relaxing, food was great (we ate at the restaurant or pool bar most nights), cabins were very nice and cute, farm was fun. It was a little oasis. Great for small kids with the playground, farm, and warm pools! Staff was so nice, helpful, responsive, and welcoming. Short drive to downtown La Fortuna. We would definitely return.

The hot spring pools are lovely and very clean, the breakfast was decent, but definitely not the best I've had around here. Very fresh and nice staff. It was fun to see all the animals roaming around the property, iguanas at the pool, a pig and ducks and many tropical birds.

Five plus stay. Not really a hotel at all. They offer private cottages surrounded by lush landscaping. 3 hot spring pools as well as a nice swimming pool. Very helpful, wonderful people. Our front window had a perfect view of the volcano. Close to everything in Arenal. A great place to vacation.

It’s a luxury spa and quite an operation. It’s beautiful with good food and lovely rooms. We paid a bit more to be upgraded. Well worth it even for one night. Really loved the experience. Used the spa, had a great massage. Are at the pool. Great food poolside. Everyone really nice.

The best thermal place in Arenal Volcano. You will find many alternatives to enjoy thermal pools, but this is the best one by far. Natural river pools.

The hot springs are amazing which is walkable from the hotel, but the hotel also provides a shuttle. The staff is super friendly and very personable. The hotel is really beautiful and extremely clean. The room looked out into a lush garden. We watched birds and animals in the rainforest that was right outside our room. Very safe, very beautiful. The breakfast is 10/10 with all you can eat where you sit next to the pool in an open air restaurant. Very delightful.

The location is great, staff is very professional and helpful, the activity agency desk :Jacamar gave us great ideas and experiences during our stay. We booked a room with two queen beds for 2 people, the room is spacious but I don’t find the experience too cost effective for 2 people for a long stay. The accessories in the bathroom are average, it was lack of basic amenities such as hair comb, q-tips etc. If you like the spring and spa a lot, then Tabacon is definitely the place to be. The pool bar is very fun and their cocktails are delicious !

Our room was super comfortable and clean. Breakfast is excellent, the variety is unsurpassed. The natural hot spring pools in the Shangri-La Gardens is superb for health and relaxation. The staff are all very friendly and attentive to all your needs.

Honestly we didn't know how fun this place was going to be! I barely looked at photos, just focusing on reviews and there was SO MUCH TO DO!! We were busy from sun up to sun down, though we could have rested we had so much fun in the pools and down at the river, relaxing in hammocks and just shedding the stress of normal life. This resort is absolutely amazing, and I would go back again and again! The only downside was the beds were SUPER firm, too much for me but we balanced that out with pool time and the overall relaxation made up for it. Will be back!

Amazing views, very big rooms with whirlpool bathtub, incredible hot spring pools and super fast slide. Our 8yo loved the game room, darts, pool table, and had fun with Esteban and Gustavo! We loved Club Rio, feeding the wildcats and river tubing. The staff is lovely.

The pools were very nice and offered peaceful settings. There could have been more attention to making sure leaves and debris were removed from the pools. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was good quality and tasty, but I think a larger variety would have been nice. We didn't know there was pizza available until our last night. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Overall the property is a good place to stay when visiting the Arenal area. Good views of the volcano. Plenty of dining options. Huge property with many pools, slides, and hot spring fed pools. We toured the animal zoo/park area, where they house local animals that have been injured, we also did the tubing down the river which was fun. Very expensive to stay here, but they do a good job overall in all areas.

Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. Several warm pools for soaking and sipping a cocktail. Slides into one pool and the river. Big room with nice terrace (with outdoor bed and hammock, plus jacuzzi that we didn’t try. Set perfectly into the rainforest, with monkeys, birds, amazing wildlife. A wonderful end to a wonderful trip to Costa Rica.

Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice and great service. Rooms are very spacious and private - your own little bungalow with a porch complete with hammock & seating. Fresh water provided each day - small fridge in the room - robes provided. The hot tub pools were very nice and right next to the sports bar so you can have a relaxing drink in one of the pools after a long day of hiking. There are cubbies for your stuff.

We enjoyed our stay. We spent two nights and it was plenty. Their hot springs are more like small pools and the food was “ok”. limited choices for dinner…a pool bar and a restaurant requiring reservations. Check-in is 3pm and we had ask for our room several times…finally getting checked in around 3:45. Their typical breakfast was delicious. We heard about lots of toucans but didn’t see any, and be careful not to come in on the unsaved road, it’s crazy! It was a nice weekend overall but with so many hotel options in the Arenal area, will will try something new if we travel that way again.

Breakfasts were great and added to our enjoyment. The hot pools were wonderful. Having a restaurant and bar by the pools was a big plus. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The place was great. The grounds are beautiful and the pool/hotsprings area is very relaxing. Had a two bedroom suite with own pool and the room beat my expectations. The staff was super nice and restaurant was very good to. Let's don't forget...the room and grounds were very clean.

I travelled in off season so it was not crowded which was great. The pools were lovely, there was enough variety to change up temperatures, two bars in the pools. Only a small fresh water pool but I didn't even go in it as the thermal springs were so lovely. The free yoga every morning was a great bonus. Breakfast didn't have many vegatarian options but I didn't starve. There was lots of wildlife on the property, lizards, frogs and birds.

Absolute service heaven! Rarely experience such a perfectly run service Organisation in a hotel as at Arenal Springs (even comparing to 5 stars). Wherever you go or what you do (Spa, reception, Pool bar, restaurant, housekeeping, …) the staff is attentive and proactive. Rooms are a perfect 4 star international standard. good quality restaurants on site. lovely pool area.

The pools were lovely and loved the lizards by the pool. Good choice at breakfast and lovely layout of bungalow cabins. Staff so friendly and helpful. Room clean and comfortable and hummingbirds outside.

The hot springs were amazing. All pools had diff temp levels which was very convenient to the needs and pool bar was an added bonus, staff service was quick and food/drink quality was really good. The room was really nice......has glass doors and windows so u get lots of sun and direct view of volcano. Very pretty. U can book tours thru the reception if u like...I really enjoyed my stay and would stay here again. Overall amazing staff.

Exceptional property with spectacular views. It’s not a hotel room but little casitas that are lovely. The pools and natural thermal pools are spectacular. Lush foliage and birds all around. We loved it. Fabulous breakfast with views included.

We had a twin room with a view on the second floor. The balcony was perfect with big patio doors,nice chairs and an awesome view. The beds and bathrooms were clean, comfy and modern. The room was well appointed with desk, drawer, closet, hooks. The whole place felt good with a very inviting, calm decor that was modern but still felt homey and Costa Rican. There was a communal lounge that was super cool and a few other seating areas throughout (loved the egg chairs!) Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was yummy and filling. The location was great in that it was just off the edge of town but still just a minute walk away.

. We arrived after a long hot bus ride. The receptionist had a cold towel and glass of juice for us on arrival. In reception area there is an ice machine and a cold water tap. The room was spacious and very clean. The air-conditioning worked an absolute treat. the bathroom was extremely clean the shower was hot and decent pressure. I really liked the products in the shower too. TV in the room had netflix and YouTube worked well. . The location is set back only minutes from the main strip. Which was nice because it was a bit quieter.. The breakfast has a couple of options. All tasty enough to start the day. Eggs. Pancakes waffles rice beans. Fresh fruit . and is served in another hotel about 170m up the road. The area you eat is surrounded by birds and trees quite nice. There is a nice sitting area outside the rooms with a view of the volcano which would be ideal with a large group with multiple rooms or just a spot to sit read chill outside. After traveling through all of central America this room in this price point is one of the best we've stayed in. Highly recommended.

We loved this place and the staff were so kind, knowledgeable and helpful! Included breakfast was great with multiple food and sitting time options. It's a quiet location, a couple blocks off the main drag, but still felt safe walking there in the evening. There are some nice sitting areas around the grounds along with a water station to fill your vessel with bottled water. The front desk staff helped us book tours, recommended places to eat and helped with directions around town. They really went out of their way to help us in any way they could! Our room was on the 3rd floor facing the volcano. Nice view. Room had A/C, comfortable king bed, fridge, a safe, coffee station, and bathroom/shower toiletries.

Hidden gem in la Fortuna! We got a room with a view of the volcano, it comes with balcony too so perfect for those early mornings where you sit outside with a cup of coffee. The place is spotless and we couldn’t find dust particles anywhere. The bed was super comfy and overall the room was decorated as if you are in a high-end hotel. It also came with FREE and absolutely delicious breakfast!!! The staff were so friendly and lovely. Overall highly recommend!!

Had a fantastic stay here. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. From an easy check in to organising breakfast to helping book tours, they were always kind and attentive. The room was lovely, with a patio and a magnificent view of Mt Arenal. The location was perfect, quiet but adjacent to all the restaurants, shops and bars. I hope to visit again and recommend a stay here.

Great hotel with comfortable clean rooms. The view of the volcano from the pool is amazing. Really liked the seating area outside the rooms. The breakfast was amazing, really big and good variety. Nice pool at the hotel and it’s also great that you get access to the thermal pools at the sister hotel. It’s within walking distance to lots of restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very good value for money with access to thermal pool at Volcano Lodge that has two large pools, a jacuzzi and a sauna pod. Though four of us shared in a room, the room is spacious with space for four luggages. Ample car park. Lovely breakfast buffet. Lovely pool where our kids stayed in there for hours. Good location right smack in the city where you are close to many lovely restaurants. Make sure you got to Travesia Restaurant for dinner which is 4 mins walk from San Bosco Inn.

Location in town was excellent and staff were really helpful and attentive. Breakfast was plentiful and the pool was amazing. We really loved the complimentary use of the sister hotel's thermal pools (Volcano Lodge) and enjoyed the amazing restaurant there too - food was really good.

The hotel is centrally located in La Fortuna town. It has all the amenities including parking on the property, two pools, and really nice breakfast buffet. There is complimentary coffee and tea all day. You have access to the spa in another hotel complex -roughly 12 min away by car - and towels are also given for free for the swimming pool and spa.

Staff very helpful. Great location, free and secure parking. Swimming pool was clean and inviting. Breakfast was exceptionally good. Access to sister hotels thermal pools was brilliant! Would recommend!

This was one of the most beautiful surroundings I’ve stayed in (booked 217 locations on Booking) because of the garden and the view on the Vulcano as well as the location of the pool. It was not very busy, lots of parking space, no noice of other people and only a few near the pool. we could enjoy several animals near the pool like reptiles 🦎 and Toucans and Hummingbirds. We were really able to relax here. It’s only a short drive from the center and the breakfast was fine. The shower and bed were fine. Space enough in the room and the climate control worked fine too.

Stunning jungle setting full of plants and wildlife - we lost track of how many bird species we saw here. Lovely refreshing pool that was very underused. Very friendly and helpful staff and delicious (hearty) breakfast. We loved the out-of-town location and saw toucans when walking to the hotel. We found a brilliant cafe/restaurant (El Chante Verde) just one mile away so we didn’t need to go into La Fortuna.

The breakfast was delicious! The staff was super helpful booking the volcano hike. The air conditioning was great and the bed comfy. I loved the hammock on my porch too. Great views of the volcano while swimming in the pool. Would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.

The breakfast was plentiful and the coffee amazing!! The breakfast patio is beautiful. We sat by the pool one evening and enjoyed listening to the birds. Our room was comfortable and had air conditioning!

The room exceeded my expectations, the view of the volcano was spectacular, and the grounds around us were beautiful, they even have a walking trail that looked interesting, we didn't have time to do that. The breakfast was just right, a nice assortment, a usual Costa Rican breakfast. The only thing we would have enjoyed is if there was a pool on the premises, at the end of a long day, it would have been nice to cool off in a pool, although we were told we could use the pool in the hotel next door, but we were to tired to walk over there. There's a good restaurant right across the street, but it's easy to get an Uber and go into the little town, only 10 minutes away.

Location, location, location. Rooms as advertised; comfortable, clean and quiet. Wonderful 4 Day Stay at Hotel Campo Verde Absolutely wonderful stay at Campo Verde. Cottages are as advertised and the views from your door step are spectacular. I was in cabin 2. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. Bed sleeps well and shower water pressure was quite strong, which is great pressure after a day of tours and adventures. Air conditioning worked fine. Area is very peaceful; especially at night and early mornings. Real sounds of nature to fall asleep and awaken too. Very minimal traffic noise for my location. There is a Steakhouse directly across the street. Music can be a bit loud during dinner hrs, esp. if your cottage is closer to hotel entrance. Ate there twice and the food is very good. Expect American prices as each dinner (200 gram steak) was about $30-$35 with one beer. Also a couple of restaurants and grocery/gift shop about a 2 / 5 minute walk from hotel. Very convenient. Only a couple slight negatives: 1) bathroom lighting could be brighter, 2) breakfast is just “OK.” Coffee, juice, rice/beans, potatoes, ham or sausage, pancakes and fruit. Just not much flavor. However, good enough protein to start the day’s activities. Otherwise, a great stay. Highly recommend if seeking great views of volcano in a quiet setting and comfortable rooms without all the commotion of a larger hotel/resort setting.

What a place! It exceeded all my expectations. I had cabin 7 with the most amazing view of the volcano and the incredibly well kept gardens. Very comfy bed, useful fridge, spacious room, super clean, and a very private terrace area with table and chairs. Great AC too. The hotel has its own little forest trail with stream where I photographed some great birds. The location is superb for a bird photographer like me. Nice and quiet but within easy reach of all the places I wanted to go. Free allocated parking space and easy walk to the cabins. Breakfast was typical Tico, buffet style and plenty of it. There's a mini market (no fresh stuff but great for drinks and snacks) and a wonderful bakery cafe called Raul Castano within a 200yd walk. Brian the receptionist is fab and speaks great English. Everyone who worked there was so friendly and polite. Highly recommend it and would definitely go back.

Very accommodating staff. Check in agent was helpful in recommending restaurants and even made phone calls to help us locate a Catholic church and research Mass times. Hearty, delicious, healthy breakfast. Quiet room. Great bathroom and shower. Small fridge was helpful. Good WIFI. Great location, easy to access with plenty of parking, a bit away from busy part of town so we didn't have to struggle to get on/off main road, but still easy to drive to restaurants and activities. Easy pick up / drop off for tourist buses at reception area. Great value. Reasonably priced compared to alternatives in area.

An amazing location in the countryside with a beautiful setting and an incredible view of Volcán Arenal. Very quiet and peaceful, with access to a short but lovely forest trail. Each cabin has a deck where you can sit in the mornings with your coffee and listen to the birds and monkeys. Spacious room with a nice bathroom. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and assisted with making arrangements. A bit far from town, but easy to get around by Uber.

The little semi luxury cabins here are amazing! Friendly, professional service all around, especially the breakfast staff! Would likely stay here again the next time! 4 nights for $700 was more than reasonable for what we got: PROs: -Large spacious cabin with big clean bathroom. -Very comfortable king bed, fridge, large LCD TV, coffee maker -Fun pool area with a cold and a heated pool with swim up bar. -Amazing breakfast buffet with fresh omelettes. -Cabins provide extra privacy

Rooms were lovely and the beds very comfortable with a spacious bathroom. There were 2 pools and a jacuzzi with cover which meant that we could relax by the pool even when raining. The staff were all amazing! My friend left his wallet in the room and they quickly messaged us to let us know and kindly posted it to our next destination. The restaurant staff were also super friendly and attentive and the food was delicious which was important given that the hotel is slightly out of the main town. We had an incredible stay and would definitely go back again!

We loved the cozy bungalow and large pool area with a pool bar. The entire area was really beautiful and well taken care of. The view of the volcano and the forest was stunning and the breakfast buffet was amazing. We saw different animals on the ground and really enjoyed our time.

Location was great! Staff (Alexandra at the front desk) were fantastic. Pool w pool bar was great for late afternoon happy hour and snack. The ROOM was perfect with jacuzzi tub on the balcony. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The hotel and the facilities are very good, The room is comfort and has nice balcony. The breakfast is very good. The pools are amazing, especially the warm water pool with the bar.

Rooms were great. The tree house lodge was really cool. Nice pool and the made breakfast by the pool.

We absolutely loved this place! The bed was comfortable. The location is great, close to coffee tours, shops, and La Fortuna waterfall. They have a restaurant on site which is very affordable and they provide delicious food, smoothies and cocktails. We saw many wild animals while we were eating because they put food for them near the restaurant. The breakfast was delicious as well. They offer fruits, coffee/tea, fresh juice, and 3 different options for breakfast (traditional/eggs & toast/ pancakes). The staff was very friendly as well. There is also a butterfly house guests can visit for free.

Small and very cosy wood cabins are scattered in a luxury piece of forest, with lots of coloured birds, owler monkeys squirrells and even a sloth in the trees and opossums and even two armadillos walking along the path to the restaurant! A real little piece of Eden, wich can be visited along the nice trails around the lodge, where you can walk in a beautiful piece of forest. The staff is super kind, nice and very helpful, the cabin is really cosy and comfortable. The included breakfast is rich and very good, and you can enjoy birds and squirrels around you when you are eating. The restaurant offers a very good choise of good meals, also for vegetarians, with a very nice staff. The lodge offers a wide range of tours and activities (operated by other societies, but the lodge helps to organize) and a wonderful night tours around the trails in the lodge forest, with very qualified guides (ours was Mike) whith the help of which you can meet snakes, frogs of every kind and size (including the beautiful red eyed frog), opossum and small bats in the misterious and amazing atmoshere of the forest at night. The lodge seems to be eco-friendly, with possibility to refill your bottles with water instead of buying plastic bottles, and cans for colleting differentiated garbage.

Arenal Oasis Ecolodge is an absolute delight! It truly is an oasis. We stayed in a triple bungalow. It was minimal but spacious. Very clean and comfortable. Towel sculptures every morning! The food was fantastic. Best way to start every day is with their traditional breakfast. Don’t forget the Lizano salsa! Our favourite dinner was the sea bass. Everything was plentiful and fresh. The service was outstanding, especially Jerold at reception as well as Valerie and Alan in the restaurant who got to know us day one. Peter, one of the younger brothers/owner was also very friendly and kind. The property is exceptional. Wild and natural but also maintained. The trails are easy and beautiful. The butterfly dome was an unexpected treat. Nature is a bound here! Birdwatching by day, frog watching by night, and monkey watching at dawn and dusk!

Lovely little cabins. Quiet area but not far at all from grocery store, coffee shop ect. Cabins were clean, screened windows, bathroom clean, safe in room that worked, cold minifridge. Breakfast was average, nothing amazing but fresh, didn't eat at the restaurant otherwise. Night tour was great for all ages. Butterfly dome was fun. They did have a water filter system on a tap at the main reception which was a welcome surprise.

Perfect for the price. Decent beds. Hot showers, friendly staff. Very nice pool wading pool and canopied poolside and common areas
