The host Zara was so friendly and went out of her way to give us recommendations. We stayed in the room directly beside the pool with its own bathroom. It was nice and clean and the bathroom was also very good, good shower etc. I also really liked the pool. The hotel also provided a very good breakfast.

The staff was very welcoming and took a good care of us. The room was nice, not the most beautiful one, but good and clean. We loved the bed, the shower and the view out to the pool! The garden was super beautiful, and our favorite "activity" during our one-weekend-stay was to relax there and by the pool. We cannot recommend this riad and its garden enough! If you are looking for a more tranquille and calm riad for your stay, choose Noumidya.

The riad is beautiful and very peaceful. we loved the surroundings and our room was so nice with a very big terrace. The swimming pool was very nice and the garden area around the pool. We loved the animals who live at the property too!

Very beautiful riad! Huge rooms with own terrace/balcony. Personnel is very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is tasty and generous. There is possibility to choose place for breakfast. Swimming pool is a big plus. Everything was in perfect condition.

Beautiful villa with a lovely pool and gardens spacious bedroom and bathroom and amazing terrace. The staff are so friendly and helpful... lovely people. Not too far from the centre of Fes by car but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. 5 minutes walk to cafes and shops. Absolutely loved our stay.

Located near the entrance to the Medina - easy access to shops and a great guy selling a huge. variety of fresh fruit! - The breakfast was good and the food in the hotel was excellent including room service. The rooms were stylish - tastefully decorated and well appointed - the photos on the app don’t do the pool and roof terrace justice - it is much larger - the sun beds and towels provided are superb and the pool is much bigger than you would think also the views are superb - all in all a luxurious Riad for a memorable stay!

No doubt DAR LYS is a modern, deluxe and elegant riad. We were impressed with the building and layout as soon as we arrived. The room was of a high standard - spacious, modern, clean and very comfortable. We experienced a great evening dining service and the food was wonderful. The rooftop swimming pool is a lovely oasis where one can chill out, cool off and admire the views. (There is a ladder in to the pool, previous comments suggested there wasn't). We really enjoyed the ambience and will go back again if we return to Fes.

The hotel is absolutely stunning. The staff were very friendly and informative. The rooftop pool is bracing but gives amazing views out over Fez. It's really well located for the Medina. Getting around the Medina is tricky so do try and get as much information as you can before you leave the hotel.

this is a very charming wonderful place. The property is brand new, but is clearly an updated/renovation of former residence. They have integrated modern convenience with the aesthetic of Moroccan architecture. The fourth floor pool is an oasis above all of everything and a must see. The family room is fantastic and we put three kids in there with no problem. As my daughter said, “super great views, super great people, super great hotel.”

It’s a lovely hotel and our ambassador suite room was very spacious. There were 2 bathrooms! The decor was very nice and the bed was really comfortable. The sitting area was large and beautiful too. The windows overlooked the pool area, which was quite. The shelves inside the wardrobe was dusty and the lighting was poor near the dressing area. We stayed for 2 nights and found the staff very helpful and polite. The buffet breakfast was average and didn’t have much Moroccan food. The salmon for dinner was nice. The desserts were delicious too. Highly recommend this hotel.

A lovely hotel about ten minutes from the Medina in Fez. The rooms are spacious. I had a lovely bedroom looking out on the pool area, and a sitting room with a couch and several chairs. As in many places in Morocco, the tile work in the bathroom and sitting area is exquisite. There is a small bar and nice restaurant on the 4th floor, where in a Muslim country you can actually get alcohol. The restaurant has two menus, one with Moroccan dishes and the other with Continental items. There is a trio playing local music, which was great. The bartender, Yussef, was a terrific host.

All the hotel is perfectly clean. The room is big and with space. The jacuzzi is working and clean. after requesting to use the inside pool they warmed it for we can use. The receptionist Hisham and Soufyan, they was amazing. after the first night we received a room upgrade. the location of the hotel close to the entrance of Medina for a easy walk inside Medina. recommend 100% sure and next time in fez will be on the same

Loved this hotel. Had the best nights sleep here even though there was a thunder and lightening storm I didn't hear anything. We only stayed here for 3 nights. Our room was large and quiet thanks to Fatima. This hotel does have a pool but we did not go in. Breakfast was continental. Dinner was set as we were with a small group. Would stay again.

This Riad in Fez was great – I loved the 2 bedroom suite I had with the sitting room with home baking. Just delightful. The pool was small but freezing, just the way I like it and the staff were also delightful – despite me having to go down and ask them to turn off the music in the hamman at 11.30pm which was right under my room as it was being piped through the air vents at full volume! We had drinks on the rooftop terrace on night and the manager was lovely. Breakfast was not so great – only continental which was plated up in advance – being veggie, I asked for a separate plate of cheese – and the waiter just lifted the meat off the plate and placed fresh cheese when the meat had lain. Not great and we only had bread on the first morning with sweet pastries on the second.

Strong WiFi throughout the Riad. Friendly staff- Aziz helped to transport my luggage from my previous Riad and was there to assist with any requests and answer any questions. Front desk staff is awesome and went above and beyond to make my stay a memorable one! I highly recommend this Riad!

A lovely riad. Omar and Aziz very helpful and friendly. Rooms were really clean, good wifi throughout the riad. A small but well maintained pool on the roof. Moroccan breakfast provided was really plentiful and delicious. Location was good with all shops and restaurants around. a good stay

Absolutely beautiful Riad, in a great location. The photos on the booking site do not do it justice. Omar and Aziz were super helpful and very friendly. The breakfast (included) was delicious and plentiful, with lots of homemade produce. Lovely terraces, overlooking the medina and small but nice pool to cool off in ( large beach towels provided).The bedrooms (we stayed in 2 different ones) were lovely, with crisp linen and comfy beds. Air-conditioning was much needed and very effective. We cannot recommend this Riad enough! Thank you for a wonderful stay 😊😊

Beautiful traditional Riad with nice rooftop which has views and a pool. Tasty breakfast every morning and good value tasty dinner - some of the best tagine I had in my time in Morocco. Lovely helpful staff.

Great location, friendly staff, comfy bed, scrub/masks available in the shower, beautiful decor, lovely terrace and pool area overlooking the city. We also tried the Hammam and massage in the Riad, which was really great. Large array for breakfast. Staff let us use the microwave to heat up some food.

Beautiful property located about 20 mins drive from Fes medina. The staff are incredible - Mohammad is such a gentleman and a genuinely kind helpful guy. There’s a really nice pool and patio on the property also - perfect for a warm day.

Great location if you have an early flight. They arranged transfer to the airport so we do not have to stressed about that. Accommodation was nice, pool is there too but unfortunately we do not tried it because of cold water. They prepared for us breakfast too even we had to leave at 3:40 am. :)

The Riad is a little outside the main medina area, in a nice quiet area. Having the swimming pool on the roof is a lovely break from the busy medina. It's nicely decorated with lots of painted wood. The food we had was delicious, but on the expensive side compared to what you can find in most restaurants. However breakfast was included, and was excellent - a lovely choice of different Moroccan breads and spreads with fruit salad. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful, clean, and spacious riad close to the Medina. Abdoul, the man working at the front desk is super helpful and friendly. He was there to help me with whatever I needed and made me feel at ease in a new place. Breakfast in the morning is great. The views from the top of the riad are great and there's also a swimming pool there. I highly recommend staying at this place!

We had an excellent stay at Riad Semlalia. The riad was beautiful, comfortable and well-located. Abdoul made us feel very welcome throughout our stay, which we greatly appreciated. The pool and terrace were perfect for sunbathing and relaxing. Additionally, the breakfast and lunch were delicious. We could not have had a better stay and would love to come back!

We stayed here because we had an early flight out and this hotel is close to the airport. It was absolutely beautiful here and I wished we had had more time. They have a pool in the back and the hotel has nice decoration, our room was very comfortable and bathroom clean and big. They are incredibly friendly here too, gave our daughter a little gift and arranged our taxi to the airport.

Super nice people, great clean rooms with a good location close to the airport. The owner was helping us to order a taxi to the airport for 4am in the morning and even changes us cash which we needed for the driver. Very good breakfast and a nice pool to relax during the hot days.

One of the best option to stay in this Riad. The Riad is wonderful, beautiful and at time seems magical. swimming pool is an cherry on top. Right from arrangement of pick up from Airport till drop to airport and everything in between was wonderful. The owner Mr. Rachid is a wonderful and kindhearted person. He goes one step beyond to make you feel at home. timely breakfast, free water bottles, evening coffee (after coming from work was a bliss), allowed cooking at kitchen (I am vegetarian, so it meant a lot to me to cook for my own in my way), he even dropped me to my office in his personal car as I was not able to get taxi on time. The staff was wonderful catering to all my needs and supporting in all the ways they can. as I was not able to go to market due to busy schedule, they arranged options of shopping for me at Riad itself for which I will be eternally grateful. God bless them for making my stay so at hope, personal and hassle free. 100% recommend to enjoy this beautiful palace cum place and to have the best comfortable stay.

We booked at this hotel because we needed to take our plane back home, early the day after. The hotel is located 10min. drive from the airport. We asked if we could check in early because we needed to return our rental car at noon, and got very quickly a positive respons. Our arrival in hotel Passiflora was very welcoming. Since we didn't have time to have breakfast before I asked Mona if it would be possible to have it in the hotel. All of this was no problem. Mona also took care of the reservation of a taxi to take us to the airport the next morning. For us this stay was perfect and in all aspects they took care of us in a very friendly way. Thank you very much

The staff were amazing! We arrived late and tried to order a taxi for dinner, and they spent over 30 mins trying to call one for us. When there were no taxis available, he called a restaurant close by that did deliveries. AND when the delivery driver didn't show up, he went to the restaurant himself to grab our food! He was a life saver, and we are still so grateful we stayed here and met these kind people!

The Riad was amazing. The interior is colorful and comfortable. The location is perfect - we got to see lots of stuff in walking distance. The staff is amazing- they were warm and welcoming, even at 2 am when we arrived. They sat down with us and explained the area. We can highly recommend staying there. The roof top terrace was amazing. We had a wonderful time there and got to see the sun set with breathtaking few. the breakfast was so good - we did not miss anything, there was coffee, fresh juice, bread and a variety pastries.

The riad is beautiful, with elegant traditional Moroccan decor that adds to its charm. The common areas - the corridors, restaurant, and terrace - are beautifully designed and stylish. The location is perfect: close to the medina but on a quiet, peaceful street. The staff are warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. The rooms are clean, and spacious, and the food is delicious. We booked the half-board option, which was great value for money.

The riad is beautiful, full of light and decorated in traditional Moroccan style and very quiet, a few minutes walk from the Blue Gate, bab boujloud. Our double room was spacious with a very big comfortable bed and good bathroom, with soaps and shower gel provided plus a hair dryer. The linen was of good quality. The staff are all extremely courteous and always wonderfully helpful. The breakfast each day had lots of different and delicious offerings with fresh fruit and juice and eggs cooked in various ways.

The location is very good, just outside the ancient medina. As usual with riads, the outside appearance is deceptive and the door opens to a jewellery box of tranquil communal spaces for dining and socialising. There are two delightful roof terraces, one open and one enclosed with comfortable seating. The breakfasts are generous and vary slightly from day to day. Food is served on the local pottery and it is amazing to see the variety of shapes and designs. There is an hammam on site and my experience was both stimulating and relaxing and to be recommended if you have a free hour. The staff are exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble and they go the extra mile to ensure their guests have the best experience whether that be booking excursions, organising an early breakfast before a trip or sourcing some mushrooms ! They are welcoming, friendly, helpful and kind.

Riad Al Makan is really nice; clean, quiet, comfortable and with welcoming and helpful staff. We arrived by taxi from the bus station and the taxi driver knew the hotel and dropped us as close to it as he could. Our room was in the annexe across the road and the annexe is very comfortable. The hotel dining area is very nice indeed with beautiful traditional styling. The location of the hotel is very good and the interesting parts of the medina are a short walk away. Even though we visited during Ramadan a few nearby restaurants were open for lunch and we had no trouble finding anywhere for dinner. One evening we ate at the hotel and it was very nice.

The design and decoration are absolutely stunning. The ambiance is peaceful, especially in the lobby. You can enjoy reading or drinking tea while you admire the architecture. There was a sitting area in my floor that was also beautiful and inviting. The room was spacious, clean, well decorated, and comfortable. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious and we could see the Medina from there. One night we had a light dinner at the terrace, and the view was gorgeous at night. Something to do! The Medina is 5 minutes away (walking). There’re also restaurants, a pharmacy, little stores, a place to exchange money…. Everything within 5 minutes walk. The staff was the best! That place without them would be just another pretty riad. The staff was always ready to help and make sure we were comfortable and safe. They were kind and accommodating. If I ever went back to Fes, I’d definitely stay here again. It was a wonderful experience, and I can truly recommend it, because I know you’ll love it!

This is a beautifully restored 14th century Riad within a 10 minute walk of the Medina. It is small but with stunning Moroccon architecture and decoration. The staff are very friendly and helpful and are anxious to make your stay memorable. The rooms are large, very clean and our bathroom was huge with lovely hot shower. WiFi worked well during our 4 night stay. The breakfast is tasty and served on the enclosed glass part of the rooftop which has far reaching views over the medina rooftops. We chose to eat three evening meals and all were very well prepared and tasty with a choice of about six different Moroccan based dishes. Our room on the first floor was very quiet. Makes a good base to experience Fes. Would stay again.

This has got to be one of best hotels we have stayed in during our whole month in Morocco. The staff are unbelievable, so friendly, happy, professional and attentive. What really made our stay was the staff and location. Everywhere at the hotel is spotless and the staff are forever going around cleaning, polishing and tidying up. Parking of our car was easy. The breakfast is excellent and give guests a really good start to their day. Finally apart from the rooms and quite location what makes this hotel is the staff. We will definitely be returning and would like to thank everyone for such a wonderful and memorable stay. This hotel is so quite and peaceful and the pool excellent.

Riad Damia is an absolutely gorgeous property and we had a lovely stay. The Moroccan decor was beautiful throughout the hotel. Our room was one of the nicest room we’ve had during our many travels. It was spacious and with detailed Moroccan ceiling paintings, wonderful tiles and beautifully painted and embroidered furnishings. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean, with a great shower. We stayed in the roof terrace which was delightful. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive to our needs. It is located on the edge of the Medina, which was fine. It was quiet and it was less than a ten minute walk to the center of the Medina. Fes felt safe despite the inevitable hassle by would be guides and vendors; very few were aggressive and the majority of people were friendly and helpful.

The building itself is absolutely stunning - beautiful traditional craftsmanship marks every doorway, ceiling, chair and table. Our room was spacious and clean. Beds comfortable and the breakfast simple but delicious. The little patio on the roof offers some lovely views of the city, and the great location puts you just a corner away from the start of the labyrinth that is the medina. But the genuine, welcoming staff are what truly made our stay special. Most especially Hassan, who went well out of his way to accommodate us, give us recommendations and made sure our experience of Fez was perfect. I would also highly recommend the Hammam here-the ladies were excellent and made it such a relaxing experience. We encountered quite a few tourists traps while travelling through Morocco, but this was honestly such a breath of fresh air! I cannot recommend it enough!

I stayed at Riad Damia for 3 nights and 4 days, and it was a wonderful experience. The riad itself is stunning with it's traditional charm and royalty. The hospitality was exceptional. Aasma, Hassan and all the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making our stay even more warm & gave us a homely feel. We loved discovering the terrace, which was peaceful and beautifully designed; a perfect spot to relax after exploring the medina. The hamam and massage were fantastic as well, and the spa staff were amazing, professional & very dedicated. Overall, it was a memorable stay for me. I would definitely recommend Riad Damia to anyone visiting Fez!

The location was good, out of the messy medina and safe for a walk at night. The Riad was comfy and welcoming, with the real look of a Moroccan place. The breakfast was very good and complete, given the fact the staff was helpful to the point of serving it at 4:00 AM (we left at 5:00). All the rooms (4) had good AC and good beds. The staff was very friendly and helpful and helped us with all our needs (including a super early breakfast and luggage). This is a very good place to stay at Fes.

Very clean and the location is perfect! The welcoming was amazing with these very very friendly people! They prepared original tea and very delicious Moroccan sweets by our arrival and we really appreciated to be welcomed this way. We got amazing discussion with them meanwhile they prepared our room with some amazing flours. The breakfast was very delicious! We have tried other 5 🌟 hotel before in fes, but this one exceeded our expectations! We recommend this place to everyone wishing to try original and very nice Moroccan stuff! And especially wishing to have a stay with very friendly people!

A beautiful riad located near old medina and other attractions. the facility is run by family who treated us like a family. breakfast was amazing. we ate dinner and the food was very tasty- almost like grandma’s cooking. the facility is very clean, beautifully decorated, and responsive staff. the owners and staff are very nice and accommodating. they arranged our transportation and a tour to Maknes area.. the tour transportation, Samir Transport Touristiqu, was fun and friendly as well as honest. if you are planning a trip to Fes, I highly recommend PALAIS Laraichi Riad La Porte Bleue. you will not be disappointed

We enjoyed our time in this traditional and nicely decorated, comfortable place. There are a lot of steps, but they carry your luggage for you. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious and the room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. Very nice people running the place. It’s in the safe walking neighborhood.

The hotel is near the Blue Gate, which is exactly where you want to be if you want to be in the Medina and venture out of it if you wish. The taxi was able to get us 10 meters away from the door, a highly desirable thing, giving that we were with a heavy suitcase and a backpack. The place is clean, well maintained and with a nicely decorated interior. I think there are 3 floors, maybe 4. It has a beautiful dinning area where we had a well rounded Moroccan breakfast, enough to last you till dinner. The hotel is family owned and I could right all day good things about them, starting from the gracious father, and ending with the young daughter and her little brother who spoke perfect English and were extremely helpful to us, all the way from taxi rides, to laundry, directions, even using their own credit card because ours didn’t go through purchasing bus tickets. Beautiful family indeed. If we are ever back in Fes, we”ll definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful Riad! We initially walked past it on the street and admired the how beautiful the restaurant on the ground floor looked, before realising that it was part of the Riad we had booked. The host family really went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time in Fès, offering helpful advice, drivers, guides, assistance printing, access to our room after we had checked out, and delicious mint teas. We were really touched by their kindness and hospitality. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to eat dinner in the restaurant itself, but judging by the lovely breakfast spread we had each morning, we can imagine it would be great.

We have very much enjoyed our stay here for 3 nights, well looked after by the smiling and friendly staff - notably Anwar, Muhammed and Tarek, not forgetting the lovely Nadia, who made our room spotless every day. Breakfast was really good, with tasty fresh juices and fruit salad each morning. Great location in the medina. Small pool, which is in the main reception area so you may feel a bit self conscious swimming there. But overall, recommend for great service and local authentic feel. Beautiful interior with 3 storey atrium and pool in lobby. Beautiful room and huge bathroom with big tub. Indecipherable TV set up which Simon helped us with. Coffee maker but no pods, kettle but no tea bags. Delicious breakfast and convenient to Clock Cafe and other good restaurants. Mohamed was a gem, a beautiful person with whom we chatted about life, family, politics and values. Incredible person. The lane outside is currently under construction.

Si Mohamed has been so helpful and couteous. We arrived at night and he showed us the way to the restaurant and fetched us back to hotel as it was our first time in Fes. Breakfast was sumptious, set up by the pool. The room was large and comfortable . Thank you for making our stay memorable and special .

The rooftop terrace was shaded and had a nice breeze with comfortable places to sit. The pool was nice, if a bit chilly. The room was very comfortable. Great AC! The staff was wonderful, especially Mohamed! The food was very good!

A beautiful, luxurious hotel on a hill overlooking Fes. Great infinity pool, excellent service and a wonderful scent permeating every square inch of the hotel. Had a first class massage at the Givenchy spa in the hotel too. Thoroughly recommended.

Amazing hotel. This is a true gem in Fes. We had such a nice escape from the city, great service and the best food we had in Morocco. The view is phenomenal from the infinity pool. We were there during Ramadan and the festivities at dinner were alot of fun. We cannot fault the service in anyway, the concierge Leila was so helpful and professional. They even had amazing tour guides to show you around the medina in Fes (ask for Haleed!).

Loved the comfort, excellent service and friendly staff. With its different restaurants, the trendy Jungle Bar at the roof-top, the Spa Givenchy or through the waters waters of the infinity pool or the indoor jacuzzi, the fitness room..this Hotel provides enough options and activities for some quality self- indulgency.

A simply BEAUTIFUL hotel in an area of Morocco that has not quite yet been discovered by tourists yet. This is definitely a 5-star hotel. The service was impeccable from the check-in/concierge to the spa to our servers at the restaurant, rooftop bar,& pool. The hotel is a 20 min drive from Fes airport (the hotel offers a driver that will pick you up from the airport for about $20-$30 USD). The hotel is built atop of a hill with unobstructed views of the Berber Mountains. The infinity pool is simply amazing and refreshing especially in the hot weather. The two restaurants inside the hotels were exceptional as was the breakfast buffet provided to us every morning. The medina is a short 10-15 min cab ride away from the hotel. I highly recommend staying at Hotel Sahrai the next time you are in Fez!

Fantastic breakfast, with a selection of fruit, cereal, jams, pastries, cakes and cooked breakfast. Everything was fresh and delicious! The pool is magical! We practically spent the whole day at the pool and the water was silky and very refreshing for a hot day! Staff is excellent and the room spacious and very comfortable!
