The breakfast setting was great on the outside covered tirasse, loved the view of the infinity pool which was right next to the breakfast area. The breakfast manu provided delicious options, a welcomed difference to the overheated buffet options we are all so use to at a 'breakfast included' booking, they also catered for vegetarian requirements on request. The coffee bar provided a great selection of coffees, which was a welcomed surprise, as free coffees at a breakfast are mostly disappointing if not terrible. I enjoyed my breakfast on both mornings; the staff was friendly and attentive.

The location is fantastic and right by the Main beach and Thompsons beach is also quite close. The facilities are absolutely beautiful! The breakfast was wonderful, the host was very accommodating and pleasant. We asked to change to the pool view and they graciously moved us at an additional small fee. The views were just too stunning not to wake up to each morning :). We LOVED the pool and the place was nice and peaceful.

Great location. The breakfasts were delicious and different each day. It was nice to be able to have breakfast served at our room overlooking the pool area. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Lovely pool.

Such a good stay, luxury pool suite. The pool was cleaned every day as well as the rooms. Excellent hosting and accommodated us immediately with an extra night. Definitely worth it!

Great location across the road from the beach. Rooms are clean and very comfortable :) Breakfast is 5 star and changes every day. The swimming pool is awesome and you are close to shops and restaurants.

I stayed at Vetho House three times. We booked this time at the villa. The villa is more modern and the rooms are bigger. We enjoyed the garden access room with a small kitchen and nice big lounge area. Ideal for longer srays. The pool is bigger. The view to the ocean is great. Access to the beach is through the privat gate. It‘s quiet and only a few steps to shops and restaurants.

Beautiful view, right by the ocean. Great to walk on the boardwalks and swim in the tidal pool. We could spot whales from our balcony. Breakfast was great. Bacon, eggs, omelettes, etc. made on request. I appreciated the Nespresso machine in the room and the fancy-smelling soap. Free parking inside the property and very friendly service overall. The King's room had the biggest bed I've ever seen! Close to restaurants.

Best view to wake up to in the morning! Absolute stunning place to stay!!! Everything was amazing and of super good quality. Swimming pool and hot tub was so relaxing and it's right by the ocean's edge! Restaurants right next door....walking distance.

The heated pool, the staff were super friendly and very efficient! The room had quality bedding and linen, the towels were fluffy and of great quality! I loved the balcony with patio furniture and very handy to have a decent fridge in the room. Absolutely loved my stay there and we are now planning a girls weekend there.

What was not to like!! Beautiful house, big bedrooms, all ensure, balconies, private pool at the house, view of the sunrise and sunset and the sea, monkeys and birds all around, friendly staff, a golf cart to get around, the Estate general pools to swim in, access to the beach, a stones throw from swimming beaches or Ballito shops, feeling safe. We can't wait to go back!

The Villa was very nice. Unit 8002. Rooms were clean and modern with a TV in each room and another in the lounge area. Beds were comfortable with aircon throughout. No issues with loadshedding as they have an automated generator. All staff were pleasant and helpful. Zimbali is a lovely resort with a multitude of pools and restuarants troughout. Zimabli is located very close to the main shopping areas of Ballito.

Beautiful villas with access to valley of the pools. Rooms were very spacious. Place was well maintained and clean. Staff was very polite and friendly.

Everything about our stay was amazing. From the moment we checked in. The staff made sure we were comfortable and catered to all our needs. The apartment was super luxurious and cleaned daily. My kids loved everything. The unit had its own private pool. We enjoyed this. The estate also offers so many activities for the kids. We didn't want to leave. Will definitely book here again. Thank you, Zimbali Heritage Place, for making our holiday so much more special.

This Guest House was just gorgeous! In almost 20 years of travel in South Africa le Petite Provence is easily the nicest place we’ve ever stayed. The two rooms we had on our three visits were exquisitely furnished in the style of a French mas. The gardens and pool were beautifully maintained and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served on a lovely terrace and included cooked food and an extensive European buffet - so lovely.

It's within walking distance of the beach. The premises has all the facilities of a spa, bar, pool, and restaurant with room service. The room was an open plan with a bath view and a sea view at the same time. It was just beautiful and lovely to stay at Coco.

The stay at Coco De Mar was superb . From the warm hospitality of the staff to the cleanliness of the restaurant and pool area was magnificent. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, Fabien has done an excellent job in that regard. The overall experience was fantastic, a truly world-class gem in the heart of Ballito on Compensation Rd. This is the prime-time boutique hotel in Ballito to stay at.

The hotel is well located and absolutely gorgeous, while its size also makes it fairly private and serene. The restaurant staff and menu were pristine (I had the daily breakfast and dinner, twice and was satisfied) - I would go back again and again just for that part alone. The curated entertainment by the pool makes for a great addition as well.

Modern, value for money, was perfect for what we needed, it was very comfortable, great that the room has a bar fridge and microwave. The shower was lovely in terms of water pressure and temperature. Pool is a bonus. Security was good with lots of cameras and 24 hr reception.

The rooms were clean, and the pool was great for my young child to play in. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Thd location is excellent, with just a short walk to the Salt Rock beach and nearby German restaurant.

The setting is tranquil. 700m walk from Salt Rock Beach. The rooms are spacious and the shower was excellent. There is a pool on the property which is clean and well-kept. The staff are attentive. I found my pillows too hard so they were happy to change them out for softer ones. Any request is quickly dealt with. Everything is spotlessly clean.

As soon as we arrived we saw the long beautiful drive way, lit up by cute little lights. The building itself was absolutely gorgeous! We were greeted by very friendly staff who checked us in and led us to our room. The room it's is HUGE. It was so spacious and so comfortable, it was giving absolutely luxury. The bathroom was absolutely immaculate and the balcony was everything! We were served a delicious breakfast in the morning in the massive dining quarters. This place deserves 5 stars! I will absolutely book again and have already recommended to others.💕

This is a wonderful bed and breakfast that I would recommend to anyone staying in the Durban area. Only 10-15 minutes from King Shaka airport. You are right on the Indian Ocean, and the rooms are lovely and clean. One of the best area seafood restaurants is within walking distance. The main areas of the B&B are welcoming and fun and the breakfast you are served in the morning is outstanding! The owners (who have been there for generations) are so cool to talk with and love to go surfing after all the breakfast work is done! Our plans only allowed us to stay one night - we wished we could've stayed longer.

The place is ideal for travelling with a baby, cots provided. The host was so helpful with boiling water for our baby's feeds and accommodating mutton and chicken in our breakfast options as we don't eat beef or pork. Breakfast was splendid. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable, with luxurious linen. The lounge was a bonus space, although we didn't even make use of the flat screen TV. Having breakfast at the poolside was beautiful. The communal lounge was very comfortable, and luckily we had it all to our ourselves .

Fantastic location and you can just make out the ocean from the view. Staff are awesome and loved the breakfast specials. Close to beach and Ballito CBD too. A nice (South African) bonus is that there's a generator that powers the whole guest house. Pool is a decent size and not too deep

Peaceful road, with sea views. Well-maintained, comfortable guesthouse with a homely vibe. Breakfasts were really exceptional, plus afternoon cake was a lovely bonus. Hosts were very obliging, and reactive to any queries. My room overlooked the sea which was beautiful. The guesthouse felt safe as a solo female traveller. Ballito sea front is a 10 minute walk ( safe walking alone in daylight), with a boardwalk, cafes, a supermarket and pharmacy. This is a great place to base yourself.

All the facilities on 1 premises with a beach view were amazing. From an ice cream shop to a bar next to the pool, pizza restaurant, and amazing breakfast in the morning.

Apart from the cleanliness of the place, the fact that the place is right next to the Beach just topped up everything👌. Being woken up by the ocean breeze was exceptional. The place has got variety of restaurants inside, Spa, Bar and big big swimming pools with life guards, they even borrow us beach towels 😍. It is right next to a shopping complex (a 2 min walking distance) and there are variety of nice restaurants along the streets. Most private Beaches are a walking distance. Definitely coming back December with our friends 💃

Prime location and very convenient set-up, with restaurants, spa, and entertainment onsite. The establishment is 'aging', and can do with a 'revamp', or at least to fix broken tiles, paint the dirty walls etc. Proper signage is needed at the pool area, to avoid confusion about what seems to be a jacuzzi, where use is actually prohibited.

i liked everything, the room was sparkingly clean, breafast was good and serving times are just perfect. The pool mmmh i loved it. I also liked the fact that its nice and quiete, really helped me relax.

Nothing much, the environment is good, the staff are friendly, facilities are good, the food is good too. What more is there to complain about. One suggestion is to consider having a child friendly pool section. Something that would look like a jaccuzi. As well as proper family 2 bedroom chalets, maybe with a self catering option.

Stayed in the luxury tent- most beautiful experience with the most amazing views. Giraffes, bucks etc moving around right outside our cabin. Food and drinks was phenomenal. Perfect place for some time away from your busy and noisy environment!

This is an older hotel, with Akzo large suites Werth balconies / or Sea views. Just a short drive from beaches and popular Ballito activities. The staff were welcoming and very friendly, while ensuring all my requests were taken care of . The indian cuisine served at the "Dine inn" restaurant is authentic and very delicious! Expect issues With water & electricity- these are issues common for the area and not caused by the hotel or the staff.

Good food and spacious rooms. Nice sea view and easy to find. friendly staff who were very accommodating accomodating to us needing breakfast a little earlier than normal

The staff was incredible friendly and went out on their way to accommodate us.. The room was spotless and the ocean view was perfect with the sea breeze and sounds of birds was breathtaking.

The host was also very kind and helpful, always there when we needed anything. Also Zimbali as a whole is amazing , got to experience parts of it I didn’t know existed.. it was raining , but the heated pools were amazing.

The place was exceptionally clean! Great view of Zimbali from the balcony. Access to the private beach, plenty of great restaurants within the estate. There is also a free shuttle to take you to other parts of the estate.The apartment is spacious. The host extended our stay as we were stuck in the snow overnight, her generosity really blew my mind. What a great experience.

It is adjacent to the main hotel. Easy access to all the facilities. Unit was clean, modern and comfortable. The unit had everything we needed to feel like we were at home. Had the option of preparing our own food or purchasing from the many available restaurants on site. Easy access to the beach.

The well-designed rooms are tastefully decorated, creating an intimate and romantic mood, perfect for any couple interested in enjoying a tranquil zen space. The rooms can be fully opened to the outside deck area, which stretches along the length of the Koi Pond, which we really enjoyed! From the deck area, there are lovely views of the gardens, the pool area, and the sea. Breakfast was delicious. Thank you Katrina, Samuel & Team for hosting us and for accommodating our late check-in. We really enjoyed our stay and our only regret is not booking another night.

We arrived and was unexpectedly to upgraded, beautiful pool with great views from the room, they accomodated us for early check in and to top it off Samual's breakfast was exceptional, he was so sweet for cooking breakfast early for us as we had a flight to catch, he even put it in a take out box! We will definitely go back!

The place is stunning and breathtaking. They have a fish pond! There’s a lovely pool area. The environment is quite zen and perfect for relaxing. Honestly the best stay I’ve been on. The breakfast was amazing and their coffee is top notch!

My girlfriend and I were very fortunate to be upgraded to the honeymoon suite and we enjoyed a relaxing soak in the large bath. The pool was lovely and refreshing after a long drive. The patio has a koi pond along the edge which gives it a very calming vibe. The breakfast was delicious.

The host was absolutely amazing. Our Uber dropped us off at the wrong address and we had to walk all the way up on foot on the hottest day of the year! It was great to get a friendly welcome when we got there! Breakfast was delicious and the pool was clean and very refreshing.

The towels and cotton linens felt fresh and clean, very comfortable- like sleeping at home. However, the foot towel/mat in the shower seemed a bit dirty, possibly because people walked inside with shoes on. Overall, the bedding quality really stood out in a positive way!

The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He had a way of making you feel like the only guest there. He was extremely accommodating and gave great suggestions for places to visit around Ballito. The rooms were beautiful and spotless, and the location was perfect. Just a 2-minute walk to a stunning bay and plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. Breakfast was included in the cost and offered a great variety with five delicious options to choose from. There was also a help-yourself tea and coffee bar, along with juice, water, and other refreshments.

Justin and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Location is ideal - distance is not far from the airport and main mall. Loved the fact it is in walking distance from great restaurants and the beach -we did not need a vehicle during our stay. There's a view of the coast from the top floor and seating areas on the balcony. The room was airconditioned. The breakfasts were delicious and generous especially the flapjacks and French toast! The breakfast seating area was comfortable and homely.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing and so delicious. The place is very neat and super comfortable. The place is more than enough. The manager and staff are very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in Ballito. Also , restaurants , the beach and even grocery shops are all in walking distance. The area is very very good.

What a wonderful place to stay. The staff are incredibly helpful, the breakfasts are delicious and the location is ideal. Plenty of safe parking inside for your car. A very short walk to restaurants and the beach. Would highly recommend. We had an amazing time. Rooms have WiFi as well as Netflix and the DSTV Now App.

Would 100% recommend!! We really enjoyed our stay. The views of the ocean were stunning, and the location was perfect - within close proximity to several restaurants, a pub, and the main beach and tidal pool. It’s also just a short drive to Umhlanga. John and Sharon were extremely friendly and accommodating, and the breakfasts were fantastic and filling!

Lovely spot, right on the beach. John and Sharon are excellent hosts. The View is incredible! The rooms are clean, neat, and homely. Lovely little splash pool on the property is a nice bonus for the summer months. Away from the hustle and bustle, closer to town/main beach.

Absolutely amazing stay, Was there to celebrate my 3rd Anniversary, was absolutely amazing, Sharron Made an amazing Huge breakfast, there was fruits every morning to eat, cereal and an English breakfast, Actually willl be coming back whenever i happen to be in Durbs, Close to amazing bars and restaurants. Its a 10/10 for me, amazing ocean views with a peaceful nights rest. DID I TELL YOU ABOUT THE VIEW??🥰🥰 it almost looks like the waves are about to crash into the pillow when waking up in the morning🥰 to the amazing view🥳 Safe entrance and exit leading up to an Awesome Pool which i swam in after getting back from the beach leading up to Lounge with 2 bar fridges filled to the brim with everything you need to drink, clean glasses on standby for a good time. Room service while you having breakfast, and The hot water never runs out, so you don't need to wake up early to be the first to get into the shower. A real refreshing stay, perfect for couples 🥳

I had the most amazing time at this peaceful bed and breakfast with stunning sea views. John and Sharon were exceptional hosts—so kind, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile. The breakfast was divine, and the whole atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. I’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful place! Gillian, is an amazing host. She upgraded us to a luxury room, because it was my girlfriend's birthday and the room wasn't book. It's a very quiet and peaceful place with an outstanding garden and a big pool (which we really enjoyed). Easy to find. It's not far from the beach with many surrounding restaurants. We also had a lovely breakfast 🍳 under the trees. We're definitely coming back here again!

Amazing hosts who know how to take care of their guests, delicious and generous breakfast, the house is charming, extremely well maintained and spacious, beds are large and comfortable, beautiful swimming pool with a view. We will definitely come back soon.

Have had a lovely stay in the cottage. It is very beautifully decorated with a modern kitchen and bathrooms. It was super clean. We had access to the garden and outdoor seating. It was lovely to have dinner outdooors when the sun was setting. Pool area was nice. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and was served outdoors. Wish we had stayed longer and will not hesitate to go back.

The hosts prepare a scrumptous breakfast by the pool overlooking a lush green frontier. Absolute heaven.

I loved everything about it. From the warm welcome from Gill and making sure that we are comfortable. The area is super clean, beautiful and cozy. We even got an upgrade to a bigger room. Beautiful views, swimming pool and chilling area.

Location was convenient for the Ballito beach, without being in the midst of the busyness of the main hotels. Close to good shops etc to buy groceries. The pool and view were amazing.

we love staying here! this was our second time and we will definitely be back. Our room was very comfortable, the air con and blackout curtains allowed for a very comfortable sleep. I usually battle in new places but every night I slept very well. Dolf is awesome and friendly. The pool is fantastic, we spent a lot of time here in the mornings and evenings. The rooms are very well equipped. and the fact that the fans, Wi-Fi and plugs still work during loadshedding 🥰🥰🥰 this place is the absolute best. we love it here!

The location was perfect, a mere 10 minute walk from the beach, shops and restaurants. The bed was comfortable and clean. The shower and bathroom were great. Overall the unit was equipped with all the necessities and was clean. The lodge had a pool and a view of the sea. We had an issue the first day with the electricity tripping due to a faulty plug and Lana had the electrician out first thing and had that sorted out quickly.

It was spotless, quiet and peaceful, lovely ocean view, nice pool and Braai Area. The huge TV with dstv, comfort Zone, The owner Lana was absolutely wonderful. The Manager Juanita was wonderful.

The self catering apartment was fully equipped and spacious. There was a pool which was well maintained and had lovely suntanning area. The outside had a braai area and the apartment overlooked the sea. It was very clean and comfortable.

The place was bigger than we expected, modern and beautiful, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, I loved the see through shower.. Ivan was responsive and helpful. The check in process was easy, security guards were friendly and willing to assist. We enjoyed the 4th floor pool and the views..Ocean dunes was closer to places we wanted to visit, unhlang and sibaya casino. It was honestly a home away from home.

The place was neat and clean,. Located very close to Sibaya Casino. The complex has Checkers Supermarket and Bottle Store. They also have a breakfast place. Views are amazing from the 4th floor of apartment which boasts a swimming pool overlooking the sea.. Host is very informative. Nice relaxing place to stay. Top security.

The security stuff was too friendly, and the apartment was spacious and perfect for my stay, the pools are clean and well maintained.

We didn't have breakfast but dinner was delicious :-) and the pool was a great little sun spot! Super pizza and we loved the fun little snack bar at the pool.

Breakfast was fantastic. The variety was more than sufficient. The dinner buffet was a little lacking for the value. The view was spectacular. Pool area is beautiful. I know the pool area is small but you need more loungers. Some guests put their things down and disappear so you can't use those loungers. I know you can't stop that from happening but it shouldn't be allowed. Your staff are phenomenal.

Fantastic one room apartment, right on the beachfront with beautiful views and walking distance to lots of lovely restaurants and a spar. Very comfy king size bed. Open apartment was very clean. Gordon was great with communication. Perfect for a couples beach holiday.

Gordon and Joy were very patient with us weary travellers with a very late booking in. View was exceptional. Apartment very clean and the bed very comfortable. Upmarket and modern. A fabulous place.

When we arrived there was a welcoming bottle of wine and chocolate which was a very nice gesture. The entrance gate remote didn't work well and was fixed immidiatly when I notified the host. Beautiful view of the tidal pool and beach. We will be back.

Perfect location with tidal pools right in front of the property and Salt restaurant just across the road for awesome morning croissants and lunchtime / dinner time pizzas.

The facilities where clean and in good condition. The location was perfect for early morning dolphin watching. Twice a week cleaning services where definitely a big help. Amenities where close or just a short drive and the tidal pool was a nice retreat away from the busy beaches.

I had the most wonderful stay at this property in Ballito! The view of the Beach was absolutely stunning, and the easy access to the snorkelling tidal pool made it a paradise- that’s without even mentioning the dolphins and whales. The cleanliness and stylish decor of the property were impressive, and the nearby cafe with the best chocolate croissants was a delightful bonus. Mary, the host, was an absolute gem. She went above and beyond to make our stay special, even leaving thoughtful gifts and little comforts that made us feel truly at home. For the price in the area, this property is an absolute steal. I can't recommend it enough for a perfect beach getaway in Ballito.

The place was amazing from sea view, to the house being very clean, the host was very welcoming and helpful whenever we heeded her. We received complementary wine and chocolate. The aesthetic was amazing. The apartment was we’ll maintained.

Mark the host, was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were exactly as seen on the site. Great pool area. Very close to local amenities. Great security. Rooms are kept in pristine condition.Another great feature, even during loadshedding, certain functions are still possible due to an external power source. For example, food can still be warmed, fridge, TV, warm water e.t.c I would definitely recommend staying there and will be enjoying another stay there in the near future.

Beautiful Property, lovely furnishings and decor. Great Views, had the pleasure of watching Wales and dolphin’s in the morning and afternoon. Service from Host and staff amazing. Daily house cleaning, even some freshly backed sourdough on a couple of days. We stayed for 2 weeks and it was fantastic. Great part is it is also not on-top of all the crowds You above them so no noise. You a 3min walk to Granny’s Pool and Shaka Rock beach. Loved our time here, so relaxing. Thank you

An exceptional, luxurious property and an amazing stay. The design and features of the properly really give the feel of a 5-star luxury holiday. The property was of course spotless, adding to the luxurious feel of the stay, with clear attention to deal by the host Additionally, this property had the best safety features of any airBnB I’ve stayed at, with dead-bolt electric shutter doors I can close during the night, and I felt very comfortable for the whole stay. The host was very helpful and pleasant, and made sure the stay was nothing but luxurious comfort. The house has remarkable technology, that really made for a convenient and comfortable holiday. A truly memorable stay!

It was nice to have a backup during loadshedding so fans, TV and WiFi still worked. Close to shops and restaurants ,easy access to the beach and beautiful garden and pool. It was an amazing stay and we will definitely book this unit again.

As you see it in the photos is what you get! A clean, spacious, modern and perfectly located apartment! The balcony area is huge, we spent time watching whales and dolphins in the morning and afternoon. A nice BBQ/Braai area around the pool, which we made use of. Right on the beach, with a great promenade to walk along. Our host was amazing, flexible and very accommodating. We left on the final day and summed it up in one sentence "this is our go to now".

The apartment is stunning 😍 Beautifully furnished & decorated with spectacular sea views. It's open and airy, perfect for holiday mode. Clean, comfortable beds and couches. Fully equipped kitchen and brilliant bathrooms. Ample storage space in the bedrooms. Excellent location...200m walk to Williard beach. The complex has a pool and is very secure. The owner is attentive, caring and very hands on!

The property was spacious with all cooking facilities, the place was very clean with the maid coming to clean most days, it was quite with a lovely view of the gardens pool and the sea, we felt very safe here with the car being parked in a gated compound, the only problem we had was when the lifts didn’t work because of load shedding (government problem), this didn’t effect us in the flat as it has a back up system, a great stay 😀👍🏻

Location is very close to the sea and restaurants and the pool was great. The apartment was nice and spacious and well stocked.

This was one of the best properties I've ever stayed at. Very beautiful view of the sea and the pool from your room. The host was amazing, warm welcome. I would definitely recommend this place.

I found the location to be great, I wanted to decompress and Fairview gave me a great opportunity to achieve this The suite it well appointed with a lovely pool and nice sea views. Short walks to full service restaurants and a number of take-outs which is awesome as this is a self-catering unit.

Sea View, easy parking. Salt Rock has nice beaches, plus good fishing. I recommend Siggi's and Salt Rock Hotel, just a walk away. Fairview Guest House is in a great location, nice garden and swimming pool.
